[] Foreword

President of Believers’LoveWorld (aka Christ Embassy) Chris Oyakhilome. D.Sc.. D.D. preached a message titled Faith, Hope and Love. In it, He shared truths that inspired me, and sowed in me the seeds of greatness.

In that message, He described faith, hope and love as the creative Principles of the human spirit. He explained how that an understanding of these virtues can help us understand the spirituality of human nature; How we do the things we do, and why we do them.

He went further to shed more light on the nature of faith, hope and love; how that they are principles that must either be acted upon or applied to produce extraordinary results.

What I hope is that by the time you are done reading this book, you will not just become aware of the faith, hope and love that is resident in you, the necessary information you require to live theauthentic Christian life through their application would have been imparted into your heart

Just like how the understanding of faith, hope and love that I received from Pastor Chris’ message set me on course for a successful Christian life, the understanding you are sure to receive through this book will do the same for you.

But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward the consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love (1 Corinthians 13:13)

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;(1 Thessalonians 1:3)

But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation (1 Thessalonians 5:8)

for we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availethany thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. (Galatians 5:5-6)

Faith

Faith is the principle by which a Christian lives. Outside of faith, the Christian cannot live a life of victory. The bible says without faith, we cannot please God (Hebrew 11:6). Think about it. What kind of life would a Christian be living if he as a Christian cannot please God? No matter what he does in service to God, no matter how he lives his life, the bible says if he is living or rendering service without faith, he cannot please God.

God does not respond to us based on pity, He responds to us in response to our faith. In one of his messages, I heard Pastor Chris Oyakhilome preach about a woman who needed healing in her body, He said the woman cried every day for God to heal her, but nothing ever happened. She continued to suffer even though she was crying to God. This went on until one day, the woman heard Pastor Chris teaching, and as she listened, God’s word came to her and she realized that her tears wasn’t going to make God heal her

She didn’t know that before. She thought that her crying would get God to heal her. In that teaching, the man of God went further to explain how that it was the heartfelt prayer of a righteous man that could make power available and cause a change. By the time she was done listening to that message, she had stopped crying and had received faith for her miracle.

God is a faith God. We too as His children can only live by faith. We are the just, and the bible says The Just(which is us) shall live by faith (Hebrews 2:4). So you see, faith contrary to what some believe is not just a means of getting God to do something for us or getting something from God, it’s our lifestyle. It’s our life.

Some say faith is believe in something for which there is absolutely no evidence, but that’s wrong. Faithis not believing even though the evidence is absent, Faith is the evidence.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen(Hebrews 11:1)

You must be careful what you accept as true. Just because something sounds nice or even logical doesn’t make it true. Truth is what God’s word says. Faith is not believe in something for which there is no evidence, the bible clearly lets us know that faith is the evidence.

Think about it this way; let’s say you own a piece of property somewhere. If you went somewhere else and someone asked you to prove that you indeed owned the property. How would you do it? It would be impossible to move the property from where it was in other to show them, instead, you would simply present them with the documents that clearly has your name on it, stating that you own the property.

Now that document, the bible says is equivalent to faith. Just like how the document is proof of your ownership of the property, faith is proof of all the things you’ve been giving in Christ.

Now, if your faith is the evidence, you cannot later come back and say, ‘ I really had faith for this and for that but it didn’t work.’ It didn’t work? But I thought you said your faith was the evidence!

If your faith was the evidence of the house or the job or whatever it is you wanted, how can you now come back to say it didn’t work?

If you are going to live a glorious Christian life, get this truth clear in your mind and never question it: Faith never fails.

The fact that you could even get to the point where you could say “it didn’t work” means that what you had wasn’t faith. Faith never fails, if it failed. Then it wasn’t faith.

Faith never fails, but as you study through the bible, you find out that there are different kinds of faith. If you tried to put your faith to work in a particular situation and didn’t quite get the result you wanted, it’s not your faith that didn’t work, it just means that you need more information.

Why do you need more information? The bible says faith comes by hearing God’s word(Romans 10:17). God’s word is the information you need, and the more of God’s word you receive into you, the more your faith increases.

Now, I know that Jesus said you can move a mountain with faith as small as mustard seed (Mathew 17:20), but as you grow in your knowledge of God’s word you come to understand that there are different types and levels of faith.

Have you ever heard someone share a testimony or performed a miracle and you went “Wow! I wish I had the faith to do that!” They didn’t Just wake up one morning to find that their faith could now accomplish such fits; they consciously built their faith.

One time the disciples of Jesus tried to work a miracle and could not. The disciples later asked Jesus why they could not cast out the deaf and dumb spirit which they tried fruitlessly to do, Jesus’ response was simple. ‘because of your unbelief’ He said (Mathew 17:20)

A few verses before this, in verse 17, Jesus in response to being toldhis disciples could not cast out the devil, made a statement. He said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him hither to me.

What I hope you noticed is the beginning of that statement; O faithless. That’s one level of faith right there’, No Faith

[]No Faith

You can tell the level people are at from their words and their response to life’s situations and circumstances. No Faith is the worse place to be. The man with no faith doesn’t even have the Word, and therefore cannot act on it. He is lost and in the dark. He is not born again.

I know there are different non-Christian books out there on faith, that encourage people to believe in themselves and believe in their ability. That’s not the kind of faith I’m talking about here. The faith we are concerned with here is Faith that is based on God’s word. Those other kinds of faith are good but they will only get you so far in life. You can’t cast out demons with faith based on yourself, and you definitely cannot live in and operate from the realm of the supernatural with faith based on your abilities. The only kind of faith that will cause you to live the authentic and victorious Christian life is the faith that is based on God’s word; the God-Kind of faith.

It’s the reason we first preach to the sinner before converting him to Christ. First, we bring the word to him, the word deposits faith in him, then and only then can the miracle of salvation take place; he gets born again and transported from the darkness to light.

As we keep on hearing God’s word, our faith grows, and as we keep putting our faith to work, it becomes stronger. From little, It becomes great, and from weak, it becomes strong. So you see, just like there is such a thing asNo Faith, Little Faith and Great faith exists

[] LittleFaith, Great Faith. Weak Fait, Strong Faith

Little faith is characterized by fear. When life’s circumstances become tough and challenging, if your response is with fear, that’s a show of little faith. Remember when Jesus was woken up by his disciples to a storm? Before he rebuked the wind, he asked his disciples ‘Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?”(Mathew 8:26)

Fear comes from the world; from information we are exposed to, from sight, sound and even our experiences. Take the story of Peter’s walking on water for example, the bible records that the disciples saw Jesus walking on the water towards them and fear gripped them because they thought it was a ghost. They probably have heard nasty stories of ghosts, and now seeing what they thought was a ghost, those stories created fear in them.

Now Peter being Peter asked Jesus to tell him to come on the water to Him and Jesus said ‘come.’ Peter got out of the boat, worked on that word, and worked on the water. Walking on the water was faith being expressed, and it worked. It would have kept working if Peter had not looked at the winds.

But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?(Mathew 14:30-31)

Notice the progression of the passage of scripture. Peter saw the winds and became afraid. As a result, he began to sink. But After Jesus reached out and savedhim from drowning, what He asked Peter was, why did you doubt. Where did the doubt come from?

Once fear shows up in your heart, doubt follows. Even when Jesus spoke about using our faith to move mountains, the only condition he gave was, “no doubt” this is in Mark 11:22-23

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith

The good news islittle faith can be fixed through the Word. The more you get to know the word, the more your faith increases. The more you look at God’s word, the less you see the winds and the more you put your faith to work, the stronger your faith will become. The bible says of Abraham that he staggered not at the promises of God, but was strong Infaith(Romans 4:20.)

One secret to moving from weak faith to strong faith, is putting your faith to work even in seemingly small challenges.

For example, if you suddenly start to feel a mild headache, let reaching for the pain medication not be your first response. That headache is an opportunity to put your faith to work. Don’t wait out the headache either, put your hands on your head and say, ‘There is no room for pain in my body. In the name of Jesus, I walk in divine health’

I know that some headaches are just the body’s way of telling you to rest, but don’t take the chance. What happens if even after you’ve rested, the headache gets worse?

Most people who are very sick they can’t even get up from their beds didn’t just wake up one morning to find themselves there. It almost always starts with something simple; a cough, a cold, a boil, a headache. It started with something small and if they would have used their faith, they would have handled it before it grew and overpowered them.

When you fail to put your faith to work in handling simple matters, it will not be strong enough to withstand the heavy storms of life.

If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small (Proverbs 24:10)

So you see, faith is a journey. You increase in it. From little too great, from weak to strong. You build your faith by receiving more of God’s word into your spirit, and byfellowship with the Holy Spirit.

but ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost (Jude 1:20)

Your most Holy faith is your highest level of faith. It means your most sanctified faith; that highest level offaith you ever had that had no doubt and fear in it.

Think back to the highest level of faith you ever had and what you were able to accomplish with it. That highest level of faith is what you are to build on. How? By praying in the Holy Ghost.

We know from the bible that when we speak in tongues, we edify ourselves (1 Corinthians 14:4) Think about it this way; when we study God’s word, our faith increases. But The Holy Spirit is the one who teaches us God’s word. He reveals the word to our spirit, without Him we would not be able to understand the word. In 2 Timothy 3:16, the bible clearly lets us know that all scripture is given by inspiration of God. In other words, the Holy Spirit is the author of the bible. No one knows Gods word more than Him. When He teaches, it goes beyond sense knowledge. He imparts the word into our spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us revelation knowledge.

With the Holy Spirit, our faith is based on something so deep that no winds of life can bring it down. we get to a place where we can’t be drowned by the challenges of life. Like Peter, we can put our faith to work, respond to God’s word, and live victoriously over life’s circumstances.

[] Faith Is For Now, & It Speaks

Faith Is a principle. In order for it to produce results, it must be applied or acted upon. I love the way Pastor Chris defines faith. He defines it as the response of the human spirit to the word of God. That is a very practical definition of faith.

God Says It

I Believe it

And that settles it.

Faith is simply responding to God and continuing that way. When Jesus told Peter to come to Him on the water, what did Peter do? He simply responded to the Master. He got out of the boat and began to walk towards Jesus. That was faith!

When God told Abraham, that his children shall be as numerous as the stars, The bible records that Abraham believed God. In the new testament, an even more inspiring picture of that event is painted for us.

Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God (Romans 4: 18-20)

How do we know that Abraham believed God? It’s right there! He went about giving glory to God.

Now, remember that his name was not always Abraham. It used to be Abram. It was God who changed his name from “exalted father” to “father of a multitude” and Abraham didn’t wait to see the children in the physical, he accepted his new name. that was him responding to God’s word; that was faith.

Faith acts as one who has already received, not one who is going to receive. Remember faith is the evidence. If it’s the evidence, it means the real thing already exists. The bible says of God that He calls those things which be not as though they were(Romans 4:17.) That Just simply shows us how God talks and operates. When He spoke to Abraham, He said ‘I have Made You.’ As far as God was concerned, it was already done and Abraham was already a father of many nations. That’s because faith is not for tomorrow, it’s for now.

In our Fight of faith, we come across certain situations that are contrary to what God has said concerning us. Sometimes a health condition that just won’t leave, or a financial situation that keeps getting worse. Whatever it is it may even not be directly connected to us. Every once in a while, such situations may arise. When they do, begin to confess God’s word concerning you. Don’t keep quiet. Faith speaks.

In fact, you shouldn’t wait for the bad times. Through yourfaith-filled confessions, you can chart the course of your life. Faith speaks always.

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak (2 Corinthians 4 :13)

Your faith confessions and proclamations are what will set and keep your life on the course it should go. In Hebrews 11:3, we see that the worlds were, framed by the word of God. We were created in the image and likeness of God, meaning that we too can frame our world(the course of our lives) by faith through our words.

Isn’t it quite obvious? How does a sinner get saved? Through the words of His mouth. We will either go to heaven or hell because of what we said or failed to say. The same with our life here on earth; our words is what will conformlife’s rebellious circumstances into the reality of God’s word. So talk right don’t just believe In your heart. Speak faith filled words every day.

Just like God spoke to the darkness and commanded light to shine, speak to that challenge and the solution will come right out of it. Just like Jesus, rebuke the contrary winds and storms of life and experience peace every day.

As Christians, we are engaged in a fight of faith. The apostle Paul told timothy to fight the good fight of faith (1 timothy 6:12.) It’s a good fight because we are assured the victory; our faith is the victory.

Our fight is not against demons it’s not against people either. We are not even fighting the devil (the devil is a defeated foe). With words we make war. We force the rebellious situations and circumstances of life to align and conform to the reality of God’s word.

The victorious Christian life is only possible by faith. So build up your faith by exposing yourself to more of God’s word, increase in strength by putting your faith to work always, and refuse to accept anything that is not in consonance with God’s word.

Hope

Consider the story of the woman with the issue of blood. She suffered hemorrhage for twelve long years and had spent all she had on doctors. Her condition did not improve instead it got worse. In addition to the constant bleeding, she had become broke. Trust me; being sick is bad enough as it is, but being sick and broke at the same time is definitely not a fun place to be.

Her situation was hopeless. Can you imagine suffering like that for so long? Remember she had tried everything her money could buy. She had seen the so called specialist and followed their recommendations. but no matter what she did, the condition didn’t get better.

Then, the bible says ‘she heard that Jesus would be passing by.’ Let’s read the full account of her story.

And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made theewhole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague (Mark 5:25-34)

Hope says to the sick, Hey! Don’t give up, You can get well again. To the poor it says, don’t give up, tomorrow will surely be better. The woman with the issue of blood had reached a point in her life where all hope was lost. She had tried everything!

When you read her story, you can tell when hope walked into her life. That bible records that when she heard of Jesus, she said to herself, if I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. That’s it right there! Hope came to her when she heard of the master.

If she never heard of Jesus, she might have gone on suffering without hope of ever getting well again. Thank God she heard of Jesus when she did, because now her story can show us some fundamental truths that will definitely ensure us a victorious life in Christ.

For that woman in her condition, Jesus was hope. He wasn’t just a teacher or a prophet, He was her only hope of ever getting well again. Jesus brought hope to her when she heard of him, and if you read through the bible, you will see many instance and examples of how He brought hope to many. There were those who were born blind, some lame, some deaf and dumb. He was their hope of ever walking, seeing, hearing and ever being able to speak.Jesus was Hope then. Guess what? He is still hope today.

The gospel which we have received is a gospel of hope. Not only do we have hope for life after our time here on earth, we have hope for life here on earth today.

When many think about the hope we have in Christ, they only think about it in respect to heaven and rapture and where they will be spending eternity. That’s great. It’s great to know that our eternity will be one of eternal bliss in the presence of God, but that’s not all there is to hope. Christ in us is not just our hope of glory for the life to come, He is our hope of living the victorious and glorious life in the earth too.

In Jeremiah 29:11, God tells us, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.You see, we know God’s plans for us, that’s why no matter the situation and circumstance we face, we already know our future, and because we know this, we always have hope.

The bible says about Abraham, that against hope, he believed in hope (Romans 4:18). The man held on to the promises of God, He never lost hope. He held on for as long as it took for God to fulfill in his life all that He had promised.

When I hear about someone who took their own life, I know that that person never got this message of hope or never understood it. The understanding of hope that is being shared here will bring anybody out of depression.

I recently saw on television that the rate of suicide among young people is on the rise. The experts may speculate the causes to beharsh economic conditions and a crash in the values of society, but they don’t have a solution. It’s not in them to solve the problem, because only God’s word can solve the problem for good.

We have the solution. It’s this message that we have; This gospel of Jesus , this message of hope. Hope for a glorious future, hope that is based on the infallible word of God. Our hope goes beyond just being patient or optimistic. It’s the reason why no matter what we face, we do not give up and we do not give in. the one who lives in us is our hope of success and victory in this life.

[] Hope is a person

that at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world (Ephesians 2:12)

This scripture describes the state of the one who is not born again. It’s state of hopelessness. The man who has not received Christ is without hope; both in this life and in the life to come. This is because hope is a person and his name is Jesus.

Now pay close attention as you read these next words of this paragraph. The unbeliever has no right to a good and desired end. Not only does he have no right to expect a desired end, he has no right, neither does he have the ability nor means to demand it.

The man that has not received Christ, is under the control and influence of the devil, and trust me when I say, the devil has no good plans for anybody. It is not in him to come up with good.

So you see, the unbeliever if he never receives Christ will surely come to that end the devil has planned for him, especially in this life here on earth. The unbeliever has no right to a ‘happy ending’ because the devil cannot give that.

Without Jesus, the sinner has no access to God, and therefore is truly without hope. He is headed for destruction both here on earth and in the life to come, just like the devil.

No matter how successful the unbeliever becomes, his life is still under the reign of Satan.Until he hears of and receives Jesus, he is hopelessly a captive to the devil. In that state, it’s just a matter of time; his fall will be great.

Haven’t you heard of people who lost everything and as a result of the despair took their own life? For some, that’s what happened to them; their hopelessness didn’t start the day they lost all they had, but once they lost it all, their true state dawned on them.

Thank God we are different! Our life and hope does not consist in our possessions. Even if we lost all that we built, Christ in us is our hope of building something bigger and better.

The moment we received Jesus, we received hope and as long as we continue to remain in Him and He in us, we will always have hope. No matter the situation we find ourselves in, we can smile, we can express joy and we can go on living.

Christ in you is a consciousness. Carry it with you as you face the difficult challenges of life. There is no too late with God, when Jesus walked the earth, there was no hopeless situation that He couldn’t turn around, and now that He is resident inside you, hopeless is now a word that should have no meaning to you. There is no situation, no matter how terrible that you cannot turn around when you put your faith to work.

[] Hope First, Then Faith Follows

Perhaps you are reading this book, and there is something in your life that you’ve been battling for long. Maybe it’s a health condition, or a bad relationship, perhaps, you want salvation in the life of a relative. If you’ve read diligently up to this point, I know that hope has come to you. You now know that your health will surely return, you now know that there is still hope for that relationship, and you now know that that relation of yours will surely see the salvation of God. Glory!

That’s wonderful, but that’s not all. When the word comes to you, it gives you hope and faith is built up within you. Whereas you were weak before, strength begins to return. Remember that hope is for the future, but faith is for now.

Hope will cheer you up and give you strength in preparation for your miracle, but it’s your faith that will hand you the miracle. When Jesus spoke to the woman with the issue of blood, he didn’t say,‘your hope has made you whole,’ rather he said,‘your faith has made you whole.’

Her faith was her response; she heard of Jesus, at which point hope came to her, then she acted on what she heard. The bible says she told herself that touching Jesus’ garment will make her whole, then she went ahead and did it. Her faith was in her making a move.

It’s even much more better for us today. Living a successful life in Christ, victorious over the circumstances of life is that much easier because we have Christ dwelling in us. We always have hope for tomorrow, and can put our faith to produce results for us, today.

Love

Does God love you? It’s a simple enough question. Can you boldly say, God loves me?Now, I’m not talking aboutquoting John 3:16. I’m talking about you as an individual. Do you know it deep in your heart that almighty God loves you?

It’s easy to accept that God loves everybody, it’s easy to rejoice over God’s love for the whole world and sing and dance over it, but I tell you, when you realize that God doesn’t just love everybody, take away everyone else from the equation and God would still love you as an individual, you would celebrate and shout even louder.

Did you know that if you were the only one in this world, Jesus would still have come to the earth to die for you? He didn’t come to die for us because we were many, but because he loved each and every one of us.That’s how much Jesus loves you. He was willing to lay down His life for you, and He did. So, the next time someone asks you, does God love you, don’t hesitate, don’t try to check in your head whether you’ve been good recently. Respond immediately. With certainty and without a shadow of a doubt say, yes, God loves me.

An understanding of God’s love will set you on the path of true joy. It will change your life and it will make you free. Free to be you, free to live out God’s plan in Christ for you, and free to live the victorious and authentic Christian life.

God’s love cannot be known with the mind and physical senses. Of course it can be seen in the physical, but only God’s word can show us the true meaning and nature of love. It’s no wonder the apostle Paul prayed the way he did for the Ephesians. He Prayed, That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. (Ephesians 3:17-19)

Did you see that? A love so deep, so wide, and so high. A love that is beyond knowledge! That’s the God-kind of love. It’s a love that requires no reason to exist. It surpasses knowledge!

Pastor Chris in his message Faith, Hope, and Love gave a very beautiful and accurate definition for love. He defined love as that endearing value of a person that gives you a sense of their importance to you.

[] God’s Love- The True Nature

There is such a thing as liquid love. That’s the nature of God’s love. It flows. It touches everywhere, and it touches everyone. It is so deep and profound that it does not take note of our shortcomings.

In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, a picture of what love looks like is painted. Just reading through that portion of scripture and I’m amazed! It is a beautiful picture.

Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or on its own way, for it is not self-seeking, it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done it, it pays no attention to a suffered wrong. It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything without weakening. Love never fails, never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end… (1 Corinthians 13:4-8 AMP)

Wow! Think about it. You are the object of the kind of love described in this portion of scripture! Technically, in God’s eye, you can do no wrong. It says, love takes no account of the evil done it. Do you know what that means for you?

The devil often times tries to deceive Christians by telling them that they can’t be successful because of some sin they’ve committed. He tries to convince them that because of what they’ve done, God’s love toward them is somehow diminished and that they are no longer living the authentic Christian life.. That’s a lie. From 1 Corinthians 13, we know that God’s love is such that He doesn’t have any account whatsoever of our wrongs.

If you are in Christ, you are that blessed man whom the Lord does not input sin (Romans 4:8). Walk with the consciousness of God’s profound love for you.The consciousness will set you apart, it will destroy fear from your life and cause you to walk closer with God than you ever thought possible.

More importantly, it will cause you to see others the way God sees them, it will cause you to see their true value, and cause you to love them the way God loves them.

In John 3:16, the bible lets us know that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. You must understand that what God loved wasn’t the world of buildings and trees. It wasn’t the world of oceans and lands, He loved the world of men. ‘The world’ is inclusive of everybody. God saw our true value. He loved us so much that he gave His son.

To walk in love is to walk in synchrony with God. It’s to see people the way God sees them, it’s to see their true value such that no matter how badly they’ve behaved toward you, you can still love them.

If it were not possible to love and do good to even those who hate you, Jesus would not have told us to (Mathew 5:44.) Jesus is the embodiment of God’s love. When He walked the earth he showed God’s love to man.He set man free from the shackles of sin and death and reconciled us to God.

On the cross, beaten and bruised, he still prayed for the forgiveness of his tormentors. That’s love. That’s the kind of Love which we have been called to live by and show to our world.

[] What Will You Do With The Love?

The best part about God’s love and Christ being in us, is we too have been giving that love. It’s resident inside us and we have the ability to show that love to everyone. anywhere and at any time.

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.(Romans 5:5)

We Know from the bible that Love is God’s nature. We also know that as Christians, we have been born of God. In other words, God gave birth to us.

If it is true that God is love and that He gave birth to us, it means that we too have the very nature of God. We have the Love Nature. Glory!

Have you ever heard someone say, “I really don’t like brother so and so. Or I really don’t like that lady”? they say such things because they haven’t yet understood the kind of love that’sencoded right in their DNA.

Don’t find yourself talking that way.The truth isIt’s impossible for you not to like someone. Your nature is love. Let this truth be in your consciousness always. Never lose sight of it. Soon enough you’ll get to the point where your love is as high and as wide as God’s love.

It won’t just happen overnight you have to train yourself to talk right. Even though your nature is that of love, you must make a conscious effort to show your world God’s love. That’s why you must know the scriptures for yourself; so you can know the characteristics of the love in you. That’s why you need to spend time in fellowship with the spirit, so He can reveal Jesus to you thereby enabling you to know the full extent of God’s love.

You must understand that without the Holy Spirit you cannot walk in in the God-kind of love. You must also be conscious that love is a feature of you recreated human spirit. The day you got born again, love became part of the new you. But the fruit of the Spirit is love…(Galatians 5:22).

You see, love is in your spirit first. It’s a quality of your spirit. Some people, think that love is just on the outside. They mistake love for random acts of charity, and kindness. Yes, there is kindness and charity in love (God so loved the world that he gave,) but love is not kindness, it’s not charity, it’s not always smiling at everybody. It’s a quality of your recreated human spirit. Much like beauty, it comes from the inside and shows on the outside for everyone to see.

Someone might smile at you and be kind to you, but it doesn’t necessarily mean they love you. That’s becauseeven though these things can be a form of expressing love, love however is more than an outward show.

In the old testament, they were told to love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength (Mark 12:30) and to love their neighbors as themselves (Leviticus 19:18), but When Jesus came to the earth he said to us..A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another (John 13:34).

This brings us back to the Holy Spirit. Only He can reveal Jesus’ love to us. That’s why we must always fellowship with God’s Spirit. We are to love as He(Jesus) loves us, and the Holy Spirit shows us How, and enables us to see with the eyes of God and show forth the love of God to everyone that comes in contact with us.

Remember, Love never fails or ends. If you are going to live the successful Christian life, then you must always and continually walk in love.

At this point, someone might ask, is it possible to love everybody. Absolutely yes. Love is not so much dependent on the beloved as it is a characteristic of the lover.

This is why even as terrible as man can be, God’s love for him never ends. It’s not about the perfections and imperfections of man, it’s about the nature of God.

The statement ‘I loved you’ is a highly inaccurate statement. Love cannot exist in the past only. A more accurate statement would be, ‘I loved, love and will always love you’

A love that changes as people change is not the love of God which we have been called to show.

Make a decision today to let the Holy Spirit guide you; to show forth the love of God that is in you irrespective of changing circumstances and persons. Remember love is your nature. As a Christian, you cannot but walk in love. So, go ahead and be your true self. Live out the love that is in you.

[] Conclusion

Even The Unbeliever can have faith, hope and can express some form of love. He can for example, have faith in his abilities. Based on the effort he is making today, he can hope that tomorrow will be better and he can love his friends and family.

By now, you know that that kind of faith is not enough, his hopes is not based on God’s word and promises, and his love will one day fail. Just ask all the once thriving companies that today are no longer in business, they had faith in themselves, they had hope for their future, and I can confidently say that they loved their customers. Yet, the winds of life and changing circumstances brought them down.

Don’t go their way. The world goes up only so they can go down. let God’s word be the foundation for your faith, hold on to His promises until they become reality, and walk in the true love always. Let the Holy Spirit build your faith, give you hope for tomorrow and show God’s love to and through you.

This three virtues; faith hope and love are key to your success in life. They are time-tested principles that if applied or acted upon, never fail.

Like we established in chapter two, the message and person of Jesus is hope, and if you’ve diligently read through chapter one and three, you would definitely have observed that living by faith and walking in love too are only possible when we come to know the person of Jesus and have him resident in us.

Perhaps, as you read through this book, you realized that you haven’t yet invited Jesus into your heart. Remember , without Jesus, men walk on in darkness and are hopeless.

I invite you today to make Jesus Lord of your life and begin your walk of faith by praying thus;

Oh Lord God, I believe that Jesus Christ is your son, I believe that he died for my sins, was buried, went to hell, resurrected from the dead and ascended into heaven. I declare that from this moment on, Jesus is Lord over my life. I am a new creature, I am born again. Hallelujah.

If you prayed this simple prayer of salvation, congratulations! You now have Christ dwelling in you. Your life is now a life of faith, you have hope both for this life and the life to comeand you now have it in you to walk in love always.
