Set in the fictional village of Caspere’ France in the mid 1800’ s The Warlock (Le’Demonste) is about a father’s decision to kill his daughter as an act of revenge against the woman that rejected him years earlier. Her pregnancy by him made her feel disgusted and was the reason she rejected his presence, and he was never told about the daughter he had fathered. His daughter Catherine leaves the beautiful sea side town of Saint Molo to find her father who is known for his ability as chemist that concocts remedies for people that are bed-ridden or gravely ill. His eccentric behavior is overlooked for his genius. When Catherine finally crosses paths with her father she is sorely disappointed, and follows him back to his house to have some bitter, final words with him, but he takes her life by feeding her to the Giant Willow tree known to come alive during the peak of a full Moon. A silent figure witnesses the gruesome events that fateful evening and nearly is killed by the Warlock but manages to escape and tell the people of Caspere’. The following morning a group of people form a posse and decide to go out to the edge of town and remove the Warlock from their area by any means possible. The Warlock escapes, but his location is unknown. Catherine’s mother has found her way to the outskirts of Caspere’ where she meets the angry, small mob of people and learns of Catherine’s demise. She begins her own quest to discover where the Warlock is, and once she finds him she is not only shocked to see where he lives, but must defend herself against his unwanted advances while trying to save her own life from the evil Warlock. A tale of revenge, guilt, deep seeded anger, rejection and a Mother’s quest to avenge her daughter’s death by her own father, The Warlock.
