A Memorial to Her – Mark 14:9

And with Special Thanks to

On February 22, 1993 I founded [The Association for Biblical Christianity, _]which was officially incorporated in the State of Washington, USA. I maintained a small mailing list of members and produced a regular newsletter called _The PEN (Personal Exchange Network). But instead of growing and blossoming it was like Jonah’s gourd and it whithered up and died! That left me stranded and I have labored alone with the Word of Elohim and my translation work with The Holy Bible: Urim Thummim Version for the last twenty-two years. When I read Number in Scripture by E. W. Bullinger it became clear that there was a purpose for a period of twenty-two years! I quote below the biblical meaning for the number twenty-two (emphasis mine),

being the double of eleven, has the significance of that number in an intensified form,—disorganization and disintegration, especially in connection with the Word of God. For the number two is associated with the second person of the Godhead, the living Word.

It is associated with the worst of Israel’s kings,—Jeroboam (1 Kings 14:20), and Ahab (1 Kings 16:29), each reigning 22 years.

Eleven, we have seen, derives its significance by being an addition to Divine order (10), and a subtraction from Divine rule (12). These are two of the three ways in which the written Word of God can be corrupted—the third being alteration. “The words of the LORD are pure words”—words pertaining to this world and therefore requiring to be purified (see p. 169). But these words have been altered, taken from, and added to by man. Is there anything in this which connects it with the fact that the letters of the alphabet (Hebrew) are twenty-two in number? Does it point to the fact that the revelation of God in being committed to human language and to man’s keeping would thereby be subject to disintegration and corruption?…

are pure words. They are not angelic words (2 Cor. 12:4; 1 Cor. 13:1), not words pertaining to heaven; but words used by men on this earth, human words, and therefore they have to be perfectly purified, as silver is purified in a furnace. In Psalm 12:6, there is an ellipsis which requires the word “words” to be repeated from the previous clause. Then we can take the preposition l, (Lamed), which means “to,” in its natural sense. The AV translates it of (“a furnace of earth”); and the RV renders it on (“a furnace on the earth”). Both are wrong through not seeing and supplying the ellipsis which would have enabled them to translate the l to, or pertaining to, literally. Thus:—

a. The words of Jehovah are pure words,

b. As silver tried in a furnace:

a. [Words] pertaining to the earth,

b. Purified seven times.

Here we have the four lines complete, in which “a” corresponds to “a,” the subject being the words of Jehovah. While in “b” and “b” we have the purifying: in “b” of silver, and in “b” of the earthly words which Jehovah uses.

Jehovah takes up and uses words “pertaining to this world,” but they require purifying. Some words He does not use at all; some He uses with a higher meaning; others He uses with a new meaning: thus they are purified. Now, silver is refined “seven times.” So these words have to be perfectly purified before they can be used as “the words of Jehovah.”

So it has been for the last [twenty-two _]years, that it has been required, that a Levitical priest be given Divine Authority (with Urim Thummim), to labor in the Word of Elohim to remove the corruption from _The Holy Bible.

Now that a “lions-share” of this work has been accomplished, I believe the next phase is about to begin. I think there may be a prophecy of this in the Dead Sea Scrolls for the renewal of The Association for Biblical Christianity. I quote this from [_The Dead Sea Scrolls – A New Translation” _]by Wise, Abegg and Cook (Harper Collins).

The ABC Division

The Association for Biblical Christianity originally had been organized into Chapters with a mailing list of, Members, Readers, and Organizations. Some of our original documents can be found in the Epilogue. We formerly had nine doctrinal “positions” but now have seven basic “positions” around which we have formed our “Doctrinal Flag”. These can be studied in my free e book titled, Seven Key Bible Doctrines [ISBN: 9781310355714 ].

As the founder of The Association for Biblical Christianity we now have two divisions. The ABC division and the RLP division. The ABC division under which people associate for Christian Worship Services [read my e book by same title] is organically formed when two or more people (see Matthew 18:20) get together for worship services united by our doctrinal flag (our seven key positions). There is NO “CHURCH” ADMINISTRATION for the [ABC _]division. Each member has the same level of authority over the next, yet the group can elect “ushers” for keeping the meetings orderly and organized. The usher has no spiritual authority over other members, they simply help with the orderly functioning of the meeting, much like an usher at your local movie theater. The vast majority of churches in this world today administratively control “their flocks” with the control of the podium. The way we operate is that each member (being on an equal level of authority) has the same right of access to that podium. With all members making a contribution, an exchange of biblical views can be balanced by a variety of opinion. With all members on an equal level of authority, THAT INVITES the real Jesus Christ to take lead as the Head of the Ecclesia. I really doubt that the real Jesus Christ would agree to participate in a Christian worship service in which the membership is blatantly violating _His Command.

[“But Jesus called them to him and said to them, You know that they that are accounted to rule over the Gentiles _]exercise hierarchical power over them[; and their great ones wield power over them.10:43 ][_But it will not be so among you: but whoever will be great among you, will be your attendant: 10:44 And whoever of you will be the chief, will be slave of all. Mark 10:42-44 (UTV)]

This command of Christ is further voiced when we are told each member is to have the same rights for each other.

[“How is it then, brethren? When you are coming together, _]every one of you[ has a psalm, has a doctrine, has a dialect, has a revelation, and has an interpretation. Let all things be done to edifying.14:27 If anyone speaks in an unknown dialect, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.14:28 But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silence in the ekklesia; and let him speak to himself, and to Elohim.14:29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other discriminate.14:30 If anything is revealed to another that sits by, let the first hold his peace.14:31 ]_Because you may all prophesy one by one _[_so that all may learn and all may be comforted.” I Corinthians 14:26-31 (UTV)]

The command of Christ regarding Christian Services has been violated for centuries which has allowed the “grievous wolves” to devour the flocks and has contributed to over 30,000 divisions of “churchianity” today! The book of Revelation has the congregations divided into only seven divisions, and note that one of them has “the key (or opening instrument) of David”. (see Rev. 3:7)

There are no membership dues, tithing, offering plates, or requirements for an ABC meeting to take place other than acceptance of our doctrinal flag. This is what makes us distinct from other groups, otherwise it would be nothing more than a “free for all”. Our “doctrinal flag” can be printed out from any computer so perhaps it can be displayed on a table for anyone to see as the banner under which a service takes place. As founder of ABC I have no authority over any of the services[_, _]nor will I keep mailing lists or track any of its activity. It can function organically completely “off the grid” if people so choose. Your freedom in Jesus Christ as your Authority must remain.

“Because there is one Elohim, and one mediator between Elohim and people, the man Christ Jesus;” I Timothy 2:5 (UTV)

To recap, conducting a Christian worship service of ABC is as simple as,

1) Select your place of meeting.

2) Place our Doctrinal Flag on the coffee table or podium.

3) Elect an usher if needed.

4) Let each person in the group have their right to share.

5) Experience Jesus Christ in your midst as the Head.

I make the following suggestions which may or may not be used. First if it is a larger gathering then it is recommended you meet in advance to elect an usher who will help coordinate the details of the service. This can include arranging a meeting place or hall rental, details for the meeting such as setup, flower or music arrangements etc. The usher can also find out the what the people wish to present so he can organize the meeting. For example if two people only wish to share a song then the usher may want to arrange the meeting so one starts the service with a song and then ends with a song and a closing prayer. Concerning the subject of prayer I make this suggestion for an opening prayer which might go something like,

“Our Father, Yahweh Elohim, we gather together this day under the Leadership of your Son Jesus Christ, whom we now invite as the Head of this service. By your command we acknowledge that there is no human mediator, minister, or anyone in this meeting that has an elevated authority over anyone in this group. The only exception to this rule is an elected usher for the sole purpose of conducting this service in an orderly fashion. Furthermore we clearly understand that this elected usher has no spiritual authority over anyone in this group today. We all stand here before you, each of us, on an equal level of authority to each other. We ask for your blessing today on this meeting and that you will inspire us both individually and collectively for our edification. In the Name of your Son Jesus Christ, Amen”

[If anyone living in the Pacific Northwest would like to fellowship with me please contact me so we can set up an ABC service.]

The RLP Division

Renewed Levitical Priesthood

The Renewed Levitical Priesthood (RLP) is a separate and distinct division which serves an entirely different prophetic purpose than our ABC division. While the ABC division has no hierarchy or human leadership the RLP is completely under the human control of its chief priest (with Urim Thummim) and is a family clan of Levites that Christ will use for the regathering/restoration of the tribes of Israel in the Last Days. It will be a part of the symbolical as well as literal Eden-like restorations that will take place for a short period prior to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. As such the RLP is completely hierarchical in nature to serve a specific prophetic calling. The [_RLP _]also has Divine Authority on earth to receive tithes and offerings. In fact, it is the only Divine Authority on earth to receive the tithe, and the only group authorized by Elohim, which would cause the blessing of Malachi (see Malachi 3:10) to be fulfill.

When any member of the Levitical priesthood would participate in an ABC division function they enter [ABC _]on an equal level of authority to an other member of the _ABC division. It is the goal of The Association for Biblical Christianity to set an example for the proper functioning of the biblical ekklesia. While the founder of [ABC _]has created the Doctrinal Flag (our seven key positions) his participation in the _ABC division remains on an equal level of authority to any other member. If someone does not agree with our Doctrinal Flag they are free to create their own biblical ekklesia.

[Original Document]

Greetings and welcome to The Association for Biblical Christianity. We are a gathering of Christian citizens which are a part of the Body of Christ, a New Testament “ekklesia” as defined in the Bible. ABC was first incorporated as a non-profit organization on February 22, 1993 in the State of Washington. We are not organized in a hierarchical fashion, each Christian possesses a true equality. As such, ABC may be organized or duplicated in other parts of this country and the world, each entity having equal control and independence. Please review our doctrinal position or contact your local chapter for more information.

The doctrinal position of ABC embraces Biblical Christianity and can be summarized to include,

1) Jesus Christ is the Messiah and Savior of ALL mankind.

Bible reference – Dan.9:25, Joh.1:41, I Tim.2:4-6, I Tim.4:10

2) Jesus Christ was killed and raised from the dead by a resurrection.

Bible reference – Isa.53:7-12, Mar.8:31, Mar.15:43-45, Matt.28:6

3) Mankind is saved through the sacrifice of Christ by a resurrection.

Bible reference – Eph.5:2,I Pet.3:18, Joh.6:44, Acts 4:1-2, Heb.6:2

4) Salvation is being born as God and comes by Grace through Faith.

Bible reference – Gen.1:27, Ps.82:6, I Cor.15, Eph.2:8

5) The Holy Spirit is given as a free gift upon repentance.

Bible reference – Joh.14:16-17, Acts 2:38, Rom.5:5

6) God has instructed us that Christians have good works.

Bible reference – Matt.5:16, Eph.2:10, Titus 3:8

7) The soul can die and the definition of death is non-existence.

Bible reference – Jos.11:11, Matt.10:28, Isa.26:14

8) Christians are equal in authority to each other.

Bible reference – Acts 15:9, I Cor.12:25, I Joh.2:27, I Cor.14:26

9) The Bible is our complete set of doctrines and Christ is our Lord.

Bible Reference – II Tim.3:16, Acts 1:21, Acts 2:36

These doctrinal positions establish for ABC what true Christianity is from what is false. We wish to be highly organized but not hierarchical and this can be achieved through the adherence of some basic Biblical principles. The one principle that makes ABC unique is that we believe in UNITY WITHOUT HIERARCHY. To insure this we have a policy that each member of ABC has the same right of access to one another. Our mailing list is OPEN to all members. The only exception to this policy is when a member requests his address to remain private. This principle also applies itself to the way ABC handles contributions and donations. For example, if someone wishes to donate to the Washington chapter of ABC they are free to do so. If someone wishes to give to any other chapter they have free and open access. It is when money, information or power flows only in ONE DIRECTION that EQUALITY IS LOST and hierarchy begins. The ONLY MEDIATOR between God and man is Jesus Christ and Christians are equal brothers and sisters in God’s “ekklesia”. Some may feel that all control is lost by this approach and that unity could not be achieved, yet we at ABC feel that just the opposite is true. It is Jesus Christ that controls each of us and it is Christ who controls his “ekklesia” without human mediators. It is interesting that the synonym for mediate is “interpose” which means “to place between”. The Bible has quite strong language for people who place themselves between parties and cause division in God’s ekklesia.

“Now I beseech you, brethren, MARK THEM WHICH CAUSE DIVISIONS and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; AND AVOID THEM.” Romans 16:17

The second Biblical principle then that ABC follows is to “mark” and “avoid” them that cause divisions. This is accomplished by the instructions given in Matthew 18:15-20. God’s ekklesia is not open for everyone but is for those whom God has chosen and those who adhere to his teachings. The public therefore can certainly have access to our teachings but membership in ABC is reserved only for those who God has chosen. Those who accept the doctrinal position of ABC and are not causing division can consider themselves members. There is great freedom in the Biblical principle of UNITY WITHOUT HIERARCHY. We can be highly organized and God has provided a way to maintain unity by eliminating division of any form.

To conclude, we of The Association for Biblical Christianity have set forth our doctrinal position and have given two principles in particular that we follow. The first principle is that of UNITY WITHOUT HIERARCHY and the second principle is UNITY MAINTAINED. Our assumption is in the positive that those wishing to be on our mailing list are in agreement with our doctrinal position and Biblical principles. We again welcome you to ABC and encourage your participation, thoughts and letters. The ABC mailing list is your free right of access to your brothers and sisters in Christ.

“Lo! For brethren (to dwell together even as one) Psalms 133:1 (Rotherham)

“Endeavoring to keep the UNITY of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:3 (KJV)

“Till we all come in the UNITY of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:” Ephesians 4:13 (KJV)
