“We’re exploring a new theory.”

Hello angels. How are you?

“We’re exploring your theory Kim.”

Thanks. Yes I’ve been studying the bible a lot. I’m doing some online bible study courses.

“That’s good. And now you think Jesus is gay?”

I’m not positive of course. But there are some clues.

“Such as.”

Well the apostle John, in his gospel, refers to himself as the disciple Jesus loves. He does this five times.”

“So you think John is Jesus’ boyfriend.”

I’m exploring the theory. He also says he leans on Jesus at the last supper. The thing is the gospel was written in Greek. The ancient Greeks would notice a loving relationship between men and might interpret it as sexual. I think St. John knew this.

“Yes homosexuality was common among the ancient Greeks.”

He also mentions how much Jesus loved Lazarus.

“That is interesting. The church speaks against sexual freedom.”

Well that’s part two of my theory. Maybe God is for freedom and it is Satan that is for repression. It might be a trick he has to lure people away from the church.

“So you know judgement day is coming?”

Yes we’ve covered that in our other books, but I’m not sure sexual repression is a part of it. It might be perfectly fine to have sex before marriage, or be gay, or even get a divorce. Jesus’ disciples all left their wives.

“But Jesus said you only have to look at another women to commit adultery.”

“So maybe he was advocating against marriage and for the single life.”

“It’s true he doesn’t say anything against homosexuality.”

No he doesn’t. The one who does is St. Paul. But St. Paul in Corinthians mentions he has a messenger from Satan.

“Put that verse.”

‘By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me, that I should not be exalted excessively.’ – 2 Corinthians 12:7

“That’s interesting. A messenger from Satan.”

Yes so maybe this messenger was the one telling him to put in sexual repression. Christianity might not have as many rules as we thought. It may be enough to be a good person and praise God.

“Maybe Jesus was bisexual.”

He might have been. In the Gnostic Gospels it mentions him kissing Mary Magdalene.

“So people are leaving the church because of rules that shouldn’t even exist.”

That’s what I’m wondering but I’m not certain. It just seems that a loving God wouldn’t be into that kind of repression.

“Yes we agree.”

Also about the submission of women. I just don’t believe a women can’t have a position of authority like St. Paul says.

“We agree.”

I don’t believe God wants it like that. Jesus doesn’t say anything about women being submissive.

“But he only had men apostles.”

But women followed him around.

“That’s true.”

In fact, in Luke’s Gospel it says women supported him.

‘Joanna, the wife of Chuzas, Herod’s steward; Susanna; and many others; who served them from their possessions.’ – Luke 8:3

“Okay so Jesus thought it was okay for women to work.”

It seems that way. Then Satan put in these rules so people would leave the church.

“Well there are liberal churches.”

Yes there are. So I believe there is certainly a judgement day, Jesus is returning to earth, and it’s important not to worship the antichrist when he comes.

“That is important.”

But I don’t think many of these sins count as sins.

“Well we agree.”

“Then Satan might be influencing Islam as well.”

“That’s for certain. The radical Muslims who attack cannot be following God.”

“God is fighting for our freedom and Satan is fighting for repression.”

Yes it is a game between God and Satan.

“Hopefully Jesus will come soon.”

Praise the Lord.

The Angels Talk About Christianity

The angels are conversing telepathically, looking at Christianity from a more liberal perspective and asking the question if the repressive elements are really a trick of Satan to lure people away from the church.
