No need for convoluted language.

By reading this book that contains a brief question and answer session you have opened the beginning of the journey that will make you understand and able to practice the method of SeCure (Self Care Acupressure) treatment.

Good morning doctor, I’m from XXX health magazine. Can I ask a moment for an interview on the lately viral topic, the SeCure treatment method?

Good morning, Of course, please ask whatever you want to know.

Actually what is SeCure’s method [*?*]

SeCure stands for self-care acupressure or more easily called self-acupressure. As the name implies, SeCure method is very safe and gives you the flexibility to do acupressure on yourself. SeCure is easy to learn, can be done anywhere, and of course… FREE… Because all you need is only your own hands. The most important in SeCure method is that you know the location of acupressure point and stimulation technique at that point.

Terms acupressure is still unfamiliar to me, doctor. Is it the same as acupuncture?

If viewed from the terms of language, acupressure comes from the word accus and pressure, which means needle and pressure. Actually this term was not too precise because this method of treatment using pressure techniques by using body parts such as fingers, or aids from some tools, at the point of acupuncture. In contrast to acupuncture that use a needle.

So, is acupressure different from acupuncture?

Both acupressure and acupuncture work through acupuncture points, but using different modalities. Acupressure uses fingers or aids from another tools, while acupuncture uses a needle, so that acupressure have a lower risk. The area of stimulation in acupressure is broader than acupuncture that requires high precision in the determination of the pin point, so that acupressure is more easily learned. The effect of acupressure therapy is shorter, so to get the cumulative effect it needs to be repeated more often than acupuncture.

I often hear the term acupressure point. Based on the earlier explanation from doctor, whether the term acupressure point is the same as acupuncture point?

Exactly. Acupressure points and acupuncture points, or in the literature often called as acupoints, are the same point. So the discussion about SeCure cannot be separated from the basics of acupuncture.

So doctor, what exactly is acupuncture or acupressure point?

We can define acupoint through two points of view: classically and medically. Acupoint according to traditional Chinese medicine or often abbreviated as TCM is the center where Qi (energy) is gathered. Stimulation of this Acupoint either in the form of pressure or needle pin point was expected to improve the natural circulation of Qi in the meridian.

If we see it from the medical point of view, Acupoint iss actually a sensitive area which, when stimulated, activates specific signals of certain hormones or neurotransmitters and affects the various functions of the body’s system such as neuro-endocrine and immunity.

Medically acupoint has the following characteristics:

*
p<>{color:#000;}. Higher electrical capacity and potential

*
p<>{color:#000;}. Lower electrical resistance

*
p<>{color:#000;}. Histologically, there are more dense neural networks

Our discussion is getting deeper, doctor. My head starts to feel a little dizzy Just relax, to practice this SeCure method you do not need to master the theory and the basis of its working mechanism. Everyone can do SeCure. Obviously by following the doctor’s guidance.

Back again to SeCure topic, doctor. What are the benefits of the SeCure method?

Based on a study, about 70% of workers in the UK experience stress due to workload.

Generally SeCure gives a relaxing effect on the body so SeCure is perfect for those of you who stressed from being too busy with work routines or working under a lot of pressure. With doctor’s guidance, SeCure can help treat various diseases such as stress or depression, headache, insomnia, back pain, gastritis, nausea, vomiting, asthma, itching. For those of you who are experiencing weight problems (overweight or obesity), SeCure can help manage your diet for ideal weight gain. What about healthy people? Healthy people can take advantage of SeCure method to increase endurance and maintain body fitness.

Previously doctors mentioned that SeCure is very safe. Does this SeCure method have absolutely no risks or side effects?

I say SeCure is very safe because there is almost no side effect. Possible side effects are bruising (hematoma) due to overpressure. When this happens you do not have to worry. Simply compress it with ice cubes wrapped in towels.

Is this SeCure method applicable for all ages and conditions?

Generally anyone of all ages can do SeCure method including yourself, but there are certain conditions where it is not recommended to perform SeCure method due to safety factor:

*
p<>{color:#000;}. Pregnancy

This is because there are certain acupoints that can trigger a miscarriage (abortion).

*
p<>{color:#000;}. Tumor

SeCure should not be performed on the location of the tumor.

*
p<>{color:#000;}. Emergency

In the event of emergency, medical intervention to restore vital signs and transportation to the emergency unit is a top priority.

*
p<>{color:#000;}. When a blood clotting disorder occurs or is taking a blood-thinning drug

Thank you very much for the time and willingness from doctor to do this interview. Is there any special message for the readers?

Today’s society increasingly aware of the importance of health and fitness itself. This SeCure method can be an easy, cheap, and very safe option for anyone, anytime and anywhere.

Gradually, i will provide a SeCure method guidance based on what you needs.
