Assemble these dinners a few days ahead of when you need them and your dinner will be ready to eat in less than 30 minutes. Forget to assemble ahead? No problem. When you need a fast dinner solution, heat water in a skillet and just scoop the ingredients straight from the can. It’s that easy!

The idea of being able to combine ingredients from dehydrated and freeze-dried foods to create meals ahead of time is very appealing. A Mason jar is a molded glass jar used in home canning to preserve food.

Just measure out all the ingredients for the meals and then store it in jars. When you need one, just pour it out into a pan, add water and cook. It offers a nice alternative to simply storing foods in bulk.

If you mix up some of your storage food like this, you’ll have access to a great nutritious meal in minutes. It can certainly beat a quick meal of rice and beans.

The nice thing about jars like these is that you can easily mix the ingredients for yourself and keep them in a jar or a baggie for future use. They won’t look quite as pretty as these jars, but they’ll certainly be functional.

Preparation Process in detail:

Mason jars have long been used for jams and pickles; they’ve recently made their way as substitutes for cups and candle holders. And now the mason jar is being used to make and transport meals. And we’re not only talking about simple salads here, though we do like how you can layer all the ingredients.

To start this, first order some 300cc oxygen absorbers. You can easily find them in shops and online. They usually come in bulk proportions or sets. The process is easy and simple.

Just assemble the ingredients and fill them in jars systematically. Using a wide mouth funnel, measure the ingredients into a jar and shake it down to help it settle.

If you’ve not worked with canning jars, be careful that it’s tempting to bang the jar on a surface, but it’s bad for the jar and can weaken the bottom of it. So, bang it on the palm of your other hand.

Once those ingredients have settled, throw in more ingredients, and shake it down again. At this point place your lids in a warm place, like on a cookie sheet on the wood stove or in a warm oven.

This softens the gasket a bit so it’s easier to screw the ring down and get a good seal. It’s also important at this point to make sure the rim of the jar is completely clear of any food particles.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes to 15 minutes

p<>{color:#000;}. Divide the peanut dressing in the 4 mid sizes Mason jar, and then divide soba noodles on the top of the dressing. Layer with the remaining items and finally add rice noodles.

10) RECIPE NAME: Burrito in a Jar

Servings: 4

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 5 minutes

Directions:

First you have to make the dressing and for that you need to take a bowl and add goat cheese, lime juice, cilantro, Greek yogurt, avocado, salt and water in the food processor.

1) Make a puree till it becomes smooth and keep it aside.

2) Take a fork and shred the grilled chicken into small cubes or pieces.

3) In the first layer of the jar, add avocado dressing of ¼ cup.

4) Then add corn of ¼ cup.

5) In the third layer add black beans of ¼ cup.

6) Then you must add diced tomatoes of ¼ cup as the fourth layer.

7) Then comes the shredded chicken of ½ cup as fifth layer.

8) On the top as sixth layer you need to add romaine lettuce of ¼ cup.

9) Refrigerate the mixture and make it ready to eat.
