Introduction

Reaction?

Does our reaction to whatever life throws at us have any bearing ultimately on our health?”

The answer to the question posed in the title is a resounding YES!

You might not believe this, but thankfully your subconscious mind stores every bit of information from your conception to death. And what a blessing that is because with a little understanding of how the human body and the electrical impulses which maintain it work, we can quite easily resolve or improve even the most serious health issues. This goes too for issues such as poor self esteem or an inability to reach realistic goals.

A common theme it seems at the moment in the natural therapies field is the admonition “It’s not your fault” for just about any problem from not having enough money to fixing weight issues, poor self esteem, an inability to reach goals or a state of general wellbeing etc.

Certainly, it is not our fault but the irony is the fixing of all the above are easily within our own purview. And this is because, over time, we have either misunderstood or ignored the subtle messages our bodies have been trying to impart.

It is so much easier to hand one’s self over to a “professional” but that professional does not have your thoughts, feelings, emotions, life experiences or way of thinking and these are vital to understanding and fixing, once and for all, any issues you may have.

The key words there were thoughts, feelings, emotions and life experiences – unique to you alone. When I asked people to proof read the upcoming course and the “Roadmap” (where all the questions one might have are answered) itself there were many revelations and the beginning of an understanding of their own life experiences.

The following are excerpts from our upcoming course “From Head To Toe” the purpose of which is twofold. For those already working in the natural therapies field the course provides, firstly and most importantly, a review of how the human body really works and why its electrical system is vital to achieving good health. There is information about the vital hormones and peptides required by the body, the vitamins and minerals needed to maintain a healthy body, the Five Elements and major Meridians, and the Seven Chakras and a re-cap of Anatomy & Physiology as traditionally taught. Underlying all this information is the knowledge that when we look for energy disruption, even where hormone balance is concerned for example, there is a very simple solution.

Most importantly, once the course is completed participants are provided with what I have called the “Roadmap to Health” because within its pages there are well over 300 known illnesses listed with the thoughts, feelings or emotions connected to provide the user with a clear way to improve health issues. The compilation of this publication has taken many years to accumulate, using my learning from kinesiology, Meta Medicine and many other courses and I have found it breathtakingly accurate when used as directed.

We provide over 80 balances for specific health issues and in-depth Chakra balances, importantly, once an understanding of the importance of the electrical system (in its simplest form) is understood, the “Roadmap To Health” publication can become an invaluable life-long tool. This is because every single health issue, ache, pain, and chronic disease is covered giving you the means to provide a healthy, drug free resolution.

My dream though is to have the general public able to quickly identify thoughts, feelings, emotions and life experiences which will, eventually, be detrimental to their health. Not advocating a total self help process, but sometimes aiding recovery whilst receiving traditional treatment, the part of the health puzzle that no-one else can identify. And with the discovery of ways of working with the body such as EFT or Acupressure Tapping there is a very easy way to keep one’s self healthy and happy. Let’s face it, if we can achieve those two things, everything else will follow. For those of us who would like to reach retirement in a healthy state and able to enjoy the next chapter of our lives this course is the ideal companion.

For the uninitiated in looking at the why and the ultimate fixing of health and wellbeing issues, the “Roadmap” looks at each body part separately and provides an easy way to be able to identify the reason that a problem currently exists.

For example an otherwise healthy individual may suffer shoulder or neck pain, experience skin problems such as eczema, stomach upsets – indigestion or reflux for instance, all of which have a beginning in a thought, feeling, emotion or life experience and can therefore be corrected. As with every health and wellbeing issue there has been some minor shock or trauma which either didn’t seem to merit much attention at the time or there was too much else going on for us to notice this disruption to our energy.

Then there are the major shocks or traumas where we can identify immediately (although not necessarily what might seem blindingly obvious causes) the approximate time of the damage to the energy system. P.T.S.D. would come under this category whether caused by one severe trauma or incident or an accumulation of stresses. All that is required is an ability to identify disrupted energy, by using the information the subconscious has stored, and with the simple technique of acupressure tapping that constant cycling of anxiety where it seems we are unable to stop the re-playing of an incident can be banished for ever.

How good would it be to be able to stop that issue in its tracks for ever?

You don’t have to be a health professional or a scientist to understand what is a very sophisticated, wonderful, yet for our purposes simple piece of engineering – the human body. In fact we currently insist on making health far too complicated, looking for interventions which really wouldn’t be required if we just paid a little attention to the messages our bodies are giving us in the form first of all of a thought or feeling which isn’t quite the norm for us personally. If that goes unchecked then the aches, pains and niggles which tell us where the damaged energy lies become self evident. Instead of reaching for the usual bag of tricks to ease how we are feeling wouldn’t it be more beneficial to stop these aches, pains or niggles in their tracks, naturally as our bodies were designed to do?

Some excerpts from the course follow.

The Subconscious Mind

We all possess a wonderful source of information – our subconscious – which records everything from our inception including inherited trauma and all the minor and major disruptions to our energetic system such as shocks and traumas to our death.

We won’t remember what may well turn out to be quite insignificant happenings which have led to dire consequences, but with the right questioning and using very simple techniques we can tap into that information and repair the damaged energy.

Emphasis must be made that this information is permanently recorded by our subconscious mind we don’t have to “remember” on a logical level, although I find that once a health issue has been cleared, never to return, clients will recite things they had long “forgotten.” This time however there was no damage to the energetic body, and therefore no “emotional connection” to the incident.

When working with clients I don’t feel the need to know about any particular cause, the emotions and possible turmoil which may have occurred, but what I find time and time again is the recounting by my clients of little cameos of time they had forgotten all about, which can now be seen as part of a problem we have been working on but which now carry no emotional charge at all.

There is not one health issue, or block to our wellbeing or success in an endeavour which cannot be helped by using this system, unless of course there has been some structural damage. An example could be say a hip joint now requiring replacement, only surgery will fix that, but the damage to the energy may well remain and needs to be dealt with to enable a good outcome.

The same can be said for serious illnesses which appear to have been successfully dealt with, and cancer would be an ideal example, but for some reason either the cancer returns or a new site is identified. Deal with the initial cause or damage to the electrical system and we stand a much greater chance of that initial success remaining. You will gather that I am very much for working with the allopathic approach – whatever is best for an individual is what matters, not my or any other natural therapist’s idea of what is right.

One of my greatest sources of the “Roadmap” has been, apart from my initial training as a kinesiologist, the thinking of such people as Dr Hamer and his Germanic New Medicine which concentrated very much on the causes of cancer, but more so the advent of Meta Medicine which had much more general information. I found that by linking my sources of learning I identified what I call key words, words which a client may not recognise as relevant but their subconscious seems able to make a link between a key word and a personal incident which has caused that person some interruption to their energetic system.

One of the most satisfying outcomes with the type of work I advocate is the change in a client’s interaction with their world. Without any conscious effort on their part life is easier, happier and what had often been discordant relationships whether work or personal in the past have changed for the better.

Stress

What an over-used word “STRESS” is, and it has different connotations depending on our understanding of the human form and our belief system. For our purposes “stress” is the key to unlocking the answer to a health issue. What is identified may not have been felt as a stress and the translation here is “disruption to the energy system.”

Once you can understand how the body’s energy system works, what happens between the cells as the “gate” opens and the disruption to that energy that any stress, trauma or shock can do, you will be well on the way to being able to help all matter of health issues, even the achievement of goals. It leads to a healthier, happier life for all concerned, flowing on to your friends and relations even.

#
h3<>. What really happens when the body is stressed?

All stress, no matter the cause, interrupts the electrical system of the body. Sometimes it is an obvious stress such as a traumatic event, but more often than not is due to minor stresses which the body feels cannot be dealt with right away and stores both the information and disruption to the energy until it is safe to deal with.

Meta Medicine teaches that there has been a trauma when a major health issue occurs, but I believe there has been a build-up of minor stresses which may possibly lead up to a traumatic event. The beauty of this stress management, when used correctly, ensures that that issue will not recur.

#
h3<>. The Everyday Stress

This is the type of stress we experience in our busy daily lives, stuck in a traffic jam, running late for an appointment, children misbehaving, disagreeable situations at work, missing your train or bus – we could go on and on of course. We need some stress in our lives, but when it becomes difficult to deal with, you may feel grumpy or short tempered, and this is an indicator that stress needs to be dealt with before a health issue occurs.

I have found that when someone complains of their workplace or colleagues, it is their own poor energy which is making matters worse. Remove the damage to the electrical system caused by the stress, and you will be pleasantly surprised at how they can then look differently on the situation. In fact, this is one of the best gifts both for your client and yourself, to know that others now react more positively to your client and life becomes easier.

#
h3<>. Stress on the physical body

This would encompass broken bones, torn ligaments, bruised or sore muscles, hay fever, allergies and the like. To those new to this way of working you would attribute the above to possibly an accident, or in the case of allergies that the body cannot cope with… whatever the substance is.

Indicators, for example, were clearly evident when my mother developed a form of polyneuritis which left her totally paralysed for a number of weeks. She had been extremely stressed for a period of time, but was one of those people who internalised that stress. We had no idea until she recovered enough to be able to talk and explain how she had felt that we discovered what had caused such a catastrophic event. A very drastic reaction to a stressful situation caused probably because she had ignored all the warning signs beforehand.

The Energetic Body

The human body is a bundle of energy, enough in fact if we were wired differently, to power a house. Once you can grasp the concept that energy is what totally drives the body and all its components, how well they function or not, you are well on your way to understanding your body. And because no two people are alike, minor stresses affect people in different ways. For some it might be eczema or hay fever for example; for others it might be digestive issues; a feeling of anxiety – particularly in certain situations; phobias and fears for which we have no rational explanation; and yet others it will show up as a mental issue.

Yet every one of these, in fact every single health issue no matter how big or how small had its beginnings in disrupted energy.

Without our conscious awareness we are constantly emitting and receiving electrical messages or impulses, and when these messages are even the slightest bit negative for us, that information is stored in our subconscious, and may often stay hidden for years. Make no mistake however, that negativity will catch up with us in the end, often causing severe, even life threatening health issues.

Some Outward Indicators of Stress

One way of describing the energy system we are working with would be to liken it to the tight or knotted muscles we experience in our neck and/or shoulders when stressed. This time though, it is a knot we cannot see, but is so easy to smooth away using acupressure tapping.

Another would be to describe what happens with our body when our energy is disrupted one could say it is a little like driving along a road after a storm; there are leaves and little twigs and branches on the roadway. They are small, so we can either drive over them or around them without too much effort; but the next storm is a little stronger and this time there are branches of trees on the road, some small and some larger but we can still go around them. But when the next storm hits, there are large limbs or even a whole tree across the road and we can no longer negotiate our way forward.

Fortunately for us all, the human body was designed to give us early warning signals that all is not well. We recognise there is a feeling of stress when we notice the tight muscles in our neck or shoulders, what we often don’t recognise is a similar thing is happening internally to our electrical system.

To begin with this disruption to our energy doesn’t matter too much, the body is clever enough to find a way round the block, but over time either the block has become larger or there are no safe alternatives left and this is when we become aware of a problem by suffering some kind of health problem and/or anxiety or depression. Provided there is no structural damage to the body, all health issues can either be improved or totally eliminated.

This same principle applies to life goals and certainly you can improve a person’s self esteem and self worth, which again is due to damage to their electrical system. Don’t be surprised though if you have to go back to early childhood to find the initial disruption to their energy system.

Electrical Messaging

Without our conscious awareness, we are constantly emitting and receiving electrical messages, and when those messages are of a negative nature, the energy we receive back is also negative. In fact we might as well be walking around with a flashing sign on the forehead saying “I am negative, I am nothing, I am useless,” etc. and receiving that poor energy back merely reinforces our negativity.

If you have ever walked into a room full of people and felt out of place the likelihood is there is a big difference between your energy and the majority of the people present. Sometimes you may find a work colleague impossible to work with, and that will become worse over time, again this is probably due to a difference in your energy levels.

Of course when I say energy levels I am not talking about the physical energy, but rather the electrical output of yourself and the people you are interacting with. If we feel negative, have a poor self image, are always angry or critical of others, then that is the energy you will draw to you. Recognition that the feelings of anger or of feeling one has to criticise others is actually something within ourselves we need to deal with is an important part of this journey.

There is an interesting publication called “Power versus Force” which talks about this energy and gives a rating (which is very low indeed) for such feelings as anger, resentment, judgement etc.

Anger

Anger is a good one to look at because often it is anger at one’s self, although we don’t recognise it as such. It often indicates that on one level we “know” something is wrong but on a logical level we don’t “know” what is wrong. Anger can be a deep felt need to “get them before they get me,” attitude and of not wanting to be hurt any further.

On the other hand, those who are comfortable in their skin, a quick angry response to some kind of attack is a very good thing. Those people will not have experience the angst following a traumatic event because they acted to defend themselves. Of course I am not talking here of physical violence but more the remarks and insinuations often made, sometimes by someone spiteful or ignorant of the true facts. In the case of the spiteful I would say they need some smoothing of their energy because it is a very clear indication they are unhappy within themselves.

Thankfully all these negative feelings can be smoothed away using the method outlined in our course “From Head To Toe.” No re-telling of embarrassing situations is required – we do not need to know any of the circumstances, all we need to know is that there is damaged energy and whereabouts in the body that damage is situated.

Human Voltage – Our Energy System

Negativity is the natural resting state of your cells. It’s related to a slight imbalance between potassium and sodium ions inside and outside the cell, and this imbalance sets the stage for your electrical capacity.

Your cell membranes practice a trick often referred to as the sodium-potassium gate. It’s a very complex mechanism, but the simple explanation of these gates, and how they generate electrical charges follows.

At rest, your cells have more potassium ions inside than sodium ions, and there are more sodium ions outside the cell. Potassium ions are negative, so the inside of a cell has a slightly negative charge. Sodium ions are positive, so the area immediately outside the cell membrane is positive. There isn’t a strong enough charge difference to generate electricity, though, in this resting state.

When the body needs to send a message from one point to another, it opens the gate. When the membrane gate opens, sodium and potassium ions move freely into and out of the cell. Negatively charged potassium ions leave the cell, attracted to the positive energy outside the membrane, and positively charged sodium ions enter it, moving toward the negative charge.

The result is a switch in the concentrations of the two types of ions -- and rapid switch in charge of energy. It's kind of like switching between 1 and 0 -- this flip between positive and negative generates an electrical impulse. This impulse triggers the gate on the next cell to open, creating another charge, and so on. In this way, an electrical impulse moves from your stubbed toe to the part of the brain that alerts us to a pain.

It’s also how the SA node tells your heart muscles to contract, how your eyes tell your brain that what they just saw is the word “brain” for example. Since everything relies on these electrical signals, any breakdown in your body’s electrical system is a real problem.

The bulk of this energy is required for important tasks, such as pumping your heart and flexing your muscles, but a lot of it is wasted — primarily as heat, but also through other physical inefficiencies.

For our purposes though, all we need to understand is that there has been some minor interruption to the energy between some cells and if this goes unchecked it will ultimately end in a health problem.

The Human Energy Field

Energy is a theme that permeates many areas of complementary health care, including Kinesiology, Reiki, Meridian Tapping, and the work which follows.

As in many other areas of investigation, what we were absolutely certain about 20 years ago has changed dramatically. For example, in a few decades scientists have gone from a conviction that there is no such thing as an energy field around the human body, to an absolute certainty that it exists.

Moreover, we have begun to understand the roles of energy fields in health and disease. Most people are simply not aware of this research, and persist in the attitude that there is no logical basis for energy healing.

I have to say here though, that “energy healing” is not the vague, airy fairy type of practice I saw recently on a TV documentary. It is scientifically based, with practices such as Acupuncture having been successfully used for thousands of years. What we use today thankfully doesn’t require needles or fancy equipment, just a very simple technique which relies on the principle of our intention to improve our health and wellbeing.

And best of all from my point of view is that once major energy blocks have been removed the techniques taught can be used for all of life’s ups and downs without having the need to consult a practitioner, so long as the simple exercises and reasoning behind them have been understood.

It has long been known that activities of cells and tissues generate electrical fields that can be detected on the skin surface. But the laws of physics demand that any electrical current generates a corresponding magnetic field in the surrounding space. Since these fields were too tiny to detect, biologists assumed they could have no physiological significance.

Subsequently, it has been discovered that all tissues and organs produce specific magnetic pulsations, which have come to be known as bio-magnetic fields. The traditional electrical recordings, such as the electrocardiogram and electroencephalogram, are now being complemented by bio-magnetic recordings, called magneto cardiograms and magneto encephalograms. For various reasons, mapping the magnetic fields in the space around the body often provides a more accurate indication of physiology and pathology than traditional electrical measurements.

These concepts were ahead of their time, but are now being confirmed in medical research laboratories around the world. Scientists are using SQUID instruments to map the ways diseases alter bio-magnetic fields around the body. Others are applying pulsating magnetic fields to stimulate healing. Again, sensitive individuals have been describing these phenomena for a long time, but there was no logical explanation of how it could happen.

As young children we have the ability to use the energy from our hands to help us to heal, and this is of course the type of energy used in Reiki. Probably due to social conditioning we tend to lose this ability but it is easy to regain and this is, to some extent, what you are doing when tapping.

You can test this energy by extending your arms out in front of you, palms facing, about 6-12 inches or so apart and, if you concentrate you will feel the energy passing between your hands. It does take a little concentration because over the years we have tended to ignore this ability. This exercise is actually good for the heart, the major meridian for the heart ends at the tip of the little finger.

You don’t have to go to extremes such as seeing an aura or being clairvoyant to benefit from the healing properties we literally have at our finger tips. I experienced an unusual use of this phenomenon when I was asked to help an elderly lady who had fallen and badly gashed her lower leg along the shin bone. To make matters worse for this lady, she was taking blood thinners so the amount of blood loss was considerable, and being elderly her skin was paper thin. Whilst waiting for an ambulance to arrive I held my palm over, but not touching, the wound and was able to stop the bleeding, and I learnt later that this quick action had meant no plastic surgery was required.

Yes, I had studied Reiki, so was more alert to the possibility of energy emanating from the hands and was therefore more confident, but now I have found we can all utilise this energy, without any training! By tapping, with the intent you are going to improve or alleviate a problem, you will be using this very same energy – it cost me thousands of dollars and years of training – but anyone can have good results if a problem is acted upon quickly enough.

How Stress Affects Our Energetic Bodies

You don’t have to be a doctor or some kind of specialist, or particularly smart because our bodies are designed to throw out hints as to coming health dangers very early on – we just have to be smart enough to take notice – and unfortunately it is these early warning signs we tend to ignore and instead just “get on with life.”

Think how much money we could save worldwide from the burgeoning health costs – which have grown because we stopped listening to our bodies. I am not asking people to stop seeking medical advice, but I am saying that if we take notice early enough – long before any medical test could give an adverse finding – we can fix our problems very easily. Leave the dwindling health pot to those who have been unable to help themselves.

For those of you already interested in natural therapies names such as Louise Hay, Deepak Chopra, Bruce Lipton and many, many more have all discovered this truth about listening to what our body is trying to tell us. We have come, as a “sophisticated species,” to rely on someone else to find out the why of whatever we are experiencing and it really is time we went back to taking an active part in our health.

When the Russians were contemplating sending astronauts into space they realised that, hey – these guys aren’t going to be able to go visit a doctor in space! So how are we going to get around this one, because sure as night follows day someone will have a headache, a stomach ache etc. I believe they were the first to come up with a technological answer to help with health and they developed a very cool program which could both detect and correct health issues when used properly. Since then there have been other programs designed to work in a similar way, some very expensive, some easily accessible, but why not rely on what was actually built into us?

Early indicators are our feelings, emotions or thoughts which are a bit different to how we normally feel. The intent of this publication is not to help self diagnosis but I will give some examples of the type of thoughts, feelings, emotions which are early indicators that stress is present in the body, and for these examples I have drawn on my own experience where I combine kinesiology and Meta Medicine.

One Body – Many Parts

Medical advancement has also meant that people have specialised, and often this is associated with a very small part of the human body. We tend to forget that the body, whilst made up of many parts, works as one. By that I mean that if we leave an issue festering or go unchecked it will affect more than one small part of the body.

Allopathic medicine will say that for example diabetes II cholesterol and high blood pressure are closely associated, and whilst I would agree to some extent those three have very different beginnings where health issues are concerned. The same goes for the thinking in Meta Medicine where it was found for example that a woman diagnosed with breast cancer may well go on to have lung and bone cancer. Again these are due to very different thoughts, feelings and life experiences, and all of those last examples, when terminal will result in liver cancer.

When one can see what thoughts, feelings or emotions are connected to each of the above we can see how the deterioration in health has progressed, and it is preventable.

We will discuss the how and the why of over 300 diseases; what Meta Medicine calls the “felt sense” associated with the four brain relays and parts of the body are identified as to which of the brain relays they belong. But you don’t need to study Meta Medicine because both the felt sense and the associated key words are provided in the “Roadmap To Health” – a publication which will become invaluable to you.

We explain where the feelings such as anxiety, despair, hopelessness, helplessness, humiliation, abandonment, low self worth, a feeling of being under attack or vulnerable and so much more which are clearly linked for you

So, finding just one instance of stress which has gone unnoticed or un-treated means it becomes more like solving a puzzle and fortunately for all of us the answer is always within ourselves. Our subconscious has automatically recorded every incident no matter how small and will willingly give up this information once the right modality for you has been identified.

Just a word of caution here, if you are new to the idea of natural therapies, a good therapist should be able to test whether they can help you or not, and often how many sessions it will take to get you on the road to regaining your health and equilibrium.

When the subconscious does find a way to release the damage to the electrical system though it will often greedily want to fix everything! In my own practice I find that someone may come to me with a specific problem but their subconscious has a different perspective and will want some other problem to be fixed first. For me and other practitioners using the same modality we would usually allow this to happen as your subconscious has all the knowledge of your body and its energy disruptions, we just have the ability to help make the changes necessary.

Pain

Pain is yet another indicator or message that something is wrong, and my take on this is that we have ignored the thoughts, feelings, emotions and life experiences of our early warning system so now we have something we cannot ignore.

Unfortunately those who are particularly stoic are often most affected by pain, they will soldier on, maybe taking pain killers but unless they unwittingly resolve the stress that pain will continue.

When a pattern of pain has been established is hard to break, because by allowing this pain to continue we have established a neural pathway if you will which will only grow stronger over time. There are some very interesting studies being conducted on pain and pain management, and it may surprise you to know that medication is not one of the answers.

If we can re-think our understanding of pain, and that it is there to tell us we have injured a body part and should take care, but once we have done so it should stop because it is no longer necessary. Not much comfort I know to all of those suffering pain every day and I acknowledge the answer to reducing your pain is not going to be easy and you will need help. This is because we tend to try to logically work out what is wrong, but if we knew what it was we wouldn’t be suffering the ongoing pain in the first place!

Over The Counter Medications

We have to remember that the body is a total package and any stress will have an impact on the whole body in time if not corrected. It is not often recognised for example that a headache – including migraine – is actually the end product of a stress when the body is desperately trying to repair itself.

In the case of migraine there will have been one quite possibly major stress and subsequent migraines will occur because there has been a trigger associated with the first incident. The dreadful pain however is due to tiny muscles squeezing out the excess fluid required when a threat was perceived, rather like when we bang ourselves and swelling occurs to protect the injured area.

Knowing this, it makes sense that these heavily advertised “cures for headaches” are not solving the problem they are just masking it. And whilst on the subject of masking – medication for heartburn or indigestion are doing that too, but in a more damaging way because they are trying to fool the body into not making acid to deal with a stress but what actually happens is because acid cannot be detected the body will make more. Much better to find out what you can’t “digest” and believe me it is not food but rather information you cannot accept or deal with to your satisfaction.

Digestive System

The digestive system is one of the easiest of the health issues to work with and everything from heartburn to diverticulitis colitis, constipation to diarrhoea can all be eliminated without the use of medication.

Whilst this is one of the easiest areas to work in for a therapist like myself, it is a difficult concept to grasp for the uninitiated that digestive tract problems are nothing to do with food, but rather information which we have either been unable to deal with or can’t let go of etc.

I know people think that certain foods trigger their indigestion, heartburn or reflux but this is really due to cleverness of the human form. Your body knows which foods you associate with these disturbances and subtly suggests that they are what you want to consume. But what your body is trying to do is “digest” this outstanding chunk of information,

Circulation

This is a particular hobby horse of mine, and seems only to be dealt with when it is noticed that a particular part of the external body is cold, or chilblains are experienced, very cold blue-white finger ends etc but these are the external signs of something much larger.

When an organ for example is not functioning properly you can pretty well guarantee that it is not getting adequate circulation either. The idea of using electrical stimulation machines for the feet and legs is fine, but I can guarantee there is more going on, on the inside – or perhaps I should say less – which will lead to more obvious health issues in the future.

But not all poor circulation is due to damaged energy in one area or has one cause, for example the deadened finger ends is called Raynaud’s disease and the reasons for it are different to other parts of the body. Thankfully we give you a full circulation balance with all the thoughts, feelings and emotions connected.

If we can improve the circulation of people they stand a better chance of staying healthy than those who let it go unnoticed and untreated. The ancient Chinese even had exercises especially for internal circulation, they are simple and easy to carry out, but of course if there is a block or some compromised energy in play then that needs to be addressed as well.

The Brain Within The Heart

Everyone knows that the human heart is essentially a muscle. More than any other organ, it is responsible for keeping our bodies alive from one moment to the next. If your heart stops beating, well, that is pretty much the end of you, unless drastic action is taken, and right away. But what does this have to do with romantic notions of love?

In ancient times the human heart seemed to be well understood. Long-gone races and peoples thought the heart was ‘the seat of the soul,’ ‘the source of our creativity,’ and ‘the dwelling place of love’. If the heart is really no more than a mere pump, then all of these old sayings make no sense at all.

Being modern and proud of it, we have long thought of these ideas as quaint notions, dismissing them as the fantasies of the unenlightened. Surely, if the heart had such fantastical attributes, we would have discovered them by now, with all our modern scientific technology.

Well, perhaps you had better sit down. Because new discoveries about the heart are quite stunning, and are showing us that the ancient ones were more correct in their beliefs about the heart than we ever imagined.

The heart is easily the most powerful organ in the body, at least magnetically. Using a relatively new instrument called the Magneto-cardiogram, or MCG, scientists have found that the magnetic field of the heart extends out around an individual.

Studies have also shown that, if you are feeling love or affection for another person, your heartbeat will appear in that other person’s magnetic brain waves. Aside from the things we say, and apart from our body language, is this another deeper way that we communicate with each other?

Recent discoveries have revealed that the heart exerts a profound influence over the brain. In fact, the heart itself seems to be another, separate “brain.” Studies show that the heart actually receives intuitive information from the world around it before the brain does, and that the heart is constantly communicating with the cells of the body, via the heartbeat. It appears that the brain in your head actually obeys these messages that are being sent by the heart-brain.

Is the heart really the core of our beings, the seat of our souls, the source of our creativity and the source of our love? I believe the answer is yes. I believe the ancients were right all along, and we are just beginning to discover what they somehow knew way back then.

We now know for example that it takes 7 seconds for a message to be received by the heart. In the case of a trauma of some kind, (but good and bad information is treated in the same way), a message is received by the heart which then passes that on to the brain stem. In other words our most primitive body, and depending on the circumstances the message is then transmitted to one of the four brain relays and will affect the energy in a specific area if we have not been able to deal with the stress straight away.

I know that when working with a client, I am aware of a change in their energy 7 seconds before their body will acknowledge the alterations. Being human, and not really “tuned in” to our bodies it actually takes quite a bit longer for us to acknowledge this change on a logic level, and of course this work is very subtle, and because you are using the body’s information you can do no harm.

Our Internal Mechanic

The human body works 24/7 to keep us healthy, all we have to do is put in adequate fuel and think no more about how we function.

However, when a stress occurs, and by stress in this instance I mean a disruption to the energy system, the body tries to firstly give out hints of there being a minor problem. Eventually if no notice has been taken it will exhibit what we might call (minor) symptoms. Of course if all this goes unnoticed then major health issues occur.

Those first indicators are thoughts, feelings or emotions which are different to the norm; maybe on waking feeling vulnerable, or discouraged, maybe feeling nervous, but not knowing why you should feel this way.

Any thought, feeling or emotion which is slightly different to the way we usually feel is the very first indication most of us have of there being something not quite right. These very indicators are the body’s way of trying to catch our attention and always relate to particular parts of the body, which is where the interruption to the energy is situated.

Unfortunately for us, we have got out of the habit of listening to our body and life goes on, no correction is made and eventually that very slight damage or interruption to our energy will be further eroded and, in time, a real health issue will emerge.

One of the ways the body tries to correct this disruption to the energy is, after giving the subtle hint, it will then manifest in other ways such as indigestion, constant colds, sore muscles, headaches etc. etc., which we call “symptoms.”

In this course you will learn what is behind these irritants, things we get used to in order to just get on with life, but they are key to our health and wellbeing. Indigestion for example, is when we have been unable to process information to our satisfaction. The body is clever enough to draw you to a food you can blame for the indigestion, but it is the information it wants to deal with.

Another way for the body to try to resolve damaged energy on its own is by creating a minor health issue such as the common cold. The body has tried to use its own resources – the reservoir of bacteria, fungi and virus we carry within us, but has had to seek a resolution outside the body. In fact allopathic medicine considers the human body holds around 1-1½ kg of bacteria in order to keep us healthy, natural therapies thinking is more substantial, somewhere around 3-3½ kg of bacteria, fungi and virus.

The fact that we have the ability to heal ourselves within our own bodies highlights the danger we face when we become too clean. Using wipes, and anti-bacterial products which supposedly kill 99.9% of bacteria are dangerous because they leave us exposed to outside bacteria being required because we have killed our natural and healthy bacteria along with the so-called “bad.”

We have to change the way we think about the human body and dis-ease, we are being tricked into costly remedies when in fact the body is doing its job, repairing the best way it can. What are considered “symptoms” are mostly the body trying to repair itself and we are seeing the beginning of a resolution of a problem, a problem of which we were probably totally unaware.

The examples of this happening are probably too numerous to mention but some examples are:

*
p<>{color:#000;}. Apparent over-production of acid in the stomach, when in fact the acid is being created to break down, not food as commonly thought, but information we have been unable to properly deal with. I know this will sound quite odd to most, but the more you work using the techniques in this course the more you will realise this is the case. Incidentally, the brain relay – the Brain Stem – is the only one which creates cell increase in the form of acid to try to deal with a problem, all the others have a cell loss, followed by a cell increase in resolution.

*
h3<>. Increase in acid production is not a symptom but part of an attempt at resolution!

*
h3<>. In the case of eczema we have the apparent symptom of increased growth of skin, that often flaky itchy skin. But in fact the body is attempting to reach a state of repair, the beginning of eczema will have gone unnoticed because there were no outward indicators. Unfortunately we have yet another example of triggers being present. The actual cause of eczema will have been long before we see this “symptom” of sore, itchy and flaky skin. When there is no trigger present the body can go into repair – replacing the damaged skin – then a trigger makes an appearance and the body is back to having to try and resolve a problem. Hence that yo-yo effect of the skin appearing to clear up and then being sore and uncomfortable.

*
p<>{color:#000;}. ironically we try to treat the resolution traditionally, rather than the cause which of course is not evident, having happened quite a period of time before we see the outcome. This is where you become the detective and thankfully you have access to the true cause using your energy or muscle testing technique.

*
h3<>. Then we have the very sad cases of such illnesses as Parkinson ’s disease. The real cause for this will have been at least twelve months prior and often much longer, an incident long forgotten. If only the medical profession would muscle test this type of illness could be stopped in its tracks early on. Unfortunately by the time a natural therapist is consulted the best you can hope for is to slow down or possibly stop the progression of the disease. I recently saw a documentary of a journalist diagnosed, finally, with Parkinson’s and as she was talking she related how she had felt some 3 or more years ago, the exact thoughts or feelings which are related to Parkinson’s. Sadly, if she and others like her, had known about the messages the body gives us the management at least of her disease could have progressed more smoothly.

*
h3<>. There are those people who have been exposed to extreme stress, had to cope, buried the thoughts associated with that stress and the only outside indication was perhaps more of a social interaction problem. So we have no obvious “symptom” to deal with here, but the damaged energy does need repair. You don’t need to have all the facts, indeed you don’t need to have any, you just have one stressed individual looking for help. Often the diagnosis here could be P.T.S.D.

*
p<>{color:#000;}. I had an instance of this early in my career when I was asked if I could help a lady who knew she was stressed but didn’t know why. There were no apparent symptoms, but as we started to unravel the problem it became apparent that leaving her home was becoming a big issue, a fear it turned out that her home might not be there when she did return. She had lost her home in a bush fire 30 years previously, had young children and had had to cope for their sake, ignoring her own fears. Finally, after all those years she was slowly allowing, unwittingly, those fears to manifest themselves. I knew nothing of the reasons behind her stress until after we had successfully cleared the damaged energy, and she joyfully told me she had taken, for her, a long drive without any fear about returning safely to her home.

*
h3<>. Now we have the ever increasing issue of P.T.S.D. – again often no outward “symptoms” – just an inability to continue with their day-to-day lives. This manifestation of stress can be easier to work with than an actual apparent malfunction of a body part. It will either be due to an evident traumatic event or series of events, such as those experienced by medics police and defence personnel. Often you will find that this type of individual is considered tough mentally and can cope with anything, but being human like the rest of us, eventually the accumulation of mini traumatic events (often not even directly affecting their own bodies, but nevertheless that electrical charge of unease has occurred) that given enough of these something will tip the scales and they can no longer cope.

Infections

There are many examples of how disastrous leaving ourselves open to infections can be; being so stressed prior to taking a holiday and then contracting “Deli Belly” for example. The cause of this is really more due to the fact the body has tried to repair the stress, but by the time we are able to relax we are exposed to different bacteria, fungi and viruses to those in and around our own environment.

I think pretty well everyone is now aware that when we have been prescribed a course of antibiotics we need to replace the resident bacteria we have killed off and one of the best ways is with a natural yoghurt (no sweeteners please!), it is totally unnecessary to take a pro-biotic daily.

The body constantly draws on this reservoir of self healing and it is only when that is not enough that the body has to seek answers outside itself, such as you contracting a cold. We don’t “catch” a cold, we use it to try to resolve an issue and in this course you will learn the keys to unlocking information to every ailment, including the 8,000+ orphan diseases where modern medicine has failed to identify the source of that disease.

Of course suffering with a cold is unpleasant, but not life threatening, once these minor irritants are ignored from an energetic point of view, then the body brings out the big guns to attract our attention.

This could be anything from diabetes, GORD/GERD, thyroid problems, right through to the killers; cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease etc. but all these are preventable outcomes when we learn to listen and interpret what the energetic body is trying to tell us. You will be in a unique position to help people back to health, and hopefully teach them along the way how to recognise warning signs in the future.

Kidney Collecting Tubules & Migraine

Whenever there is a stress to the body say when we knock a body part with some force, liquid will form around that injured part to protect it from further injury and the swelling will only go down as the damage is being resolved and the body perceives that cushion of liquid is no longer required. This process is created by the Kidney Collecting Tubules (KCTs), and will become a big part of your understanding of how the human body works to protect itself.

Migraine headaches are another easy example. Long before I studied natural therapies I was sceptical of the idea that chocolate was one of the indicators of a looming migraine headache. Now I understand that the outward indicators of migraine, the terrible pain and often distorted vision and need for a darkened space are actually the body going into repair. Now the chocolate makes sense, the hormone in chocolate is after all known as the feel good hormone.

What is happening in migraine is that there has initially been an interruption to that person’s energy, some kind of shock or trauma, but associated with that is what we call a trigger. After that first migraine headache, when similar circumstances come into play then the migraine headache will commence. The pain etc is actually more due to the body releasing the fluid the body had created to protect the head area, the excess fluid being squeezed out of the tiny muscles.

An extreme example of these KCTs being present is in end stage liver cancer, where the body is desperately trying to survive, calling on all resources of protein to continue to “feed” itself. Unfortunately this protein is mostly drawn from the muscles, hence that appearance of wasting away we see. Modern medicine will often try to drain this (foul smelling) fluid, but of course the body will replace it as quickly as possible in order to protect the liver and provide sustenance. The body is on autopilot!

Universal Energy

By now you will hopefully be beginning to understand how important our electrical system is to our health and wellbeing.

When we have damaged energy we may not exhibit any outward manifestation of a problem, it may be evident though in the way we interact with others, how we may appear to be unhappy, angry, sad etc. And I hope that becoming familiar with this type of healing work you will gain a greater understanding of the behaviour of others.

You might not be in a position to help that person, but understanding how their behaviour has come about removes judgement of that person and gives you an understanding that in fact that behaviour is out of their conscious control.

The heading for this section is “Universal Energy” and this might be a new concept to you, it is certainly something which can be hard to get your head around so to speak.

However the more I have worked in this area, the more I appreciate the fact that our personal energy system does affect those around us. For example if we are carrying a lot of stress, our output of energy to the world is low and we will feel out of place in a social situation, where the energy of pretty well everyone else present is higher and therefore does not “resonate” with our own. Do be careful that you do not allow negative energy to affect you personally when working with clients. The more you know yourself and are comfortable with who you are, the less likely you are to be affected by the negative energy of others.

If your energy is fairly high you may feel you do not like a person or feel you cannot deal with them satisfactorily, and that is partly due to the fact that their energy is low.

In fact, when we are stressed we might as well have something tattooed on our forehead. If the stress is related to relationships for example you could be unwittingly transmitting the message to others to keep away!

It is a hard concept to understand that we all interact via energy no matter where we are, which explains how surrogate or distance healing does work. In Reiki the concept is that you are using universal energy to “boost” someone else’s energy system, and if practiced correctly the practitioner also receives a boost in their own energy.

In the kinesiology I practice the same happens, at a supposedly higher level, so the suggestion that there is no universal energy involved no longer makes sense. Accepting that we are all inter-connected in some way via our energy helps us understand human interaction. If someone you meet is ill tempered, you don’t want to interact with them, but if someone is smiling and full of fun you want to be a part of their world.

The concept of universal energy is in some ways how we have been able to come up with the understanding of how the human body works. This concept is known as quantum physics, and because allopathic medicine still works on the principle of the body being made up of different parts, not considering the electrical charge which makes that body work except when their fantastic machines do now show energy exchange taking place they cannot see the “how and why” that someone is sick.

In fact when I studied Meta Medicine we had to buy the huge volume that doctors use to aid in their diagnoses, and to my horror I found that at least 95% illnesses was “no known cause.”

Of course the Chinese, and other ancient cultures, understood the concept of universal energy, and the electrical system of the human form and this is where we initially got our information and understanding of how to help others regain their health.

The Chinese for example understood the relationship between the organs and glands of the body, the energy linking these together and the emotions connected to those body parts.

Thankfully today we have begun to understand and perhaps translate that knowledge into something we can more easily understand. The mapping of the brain for example, was for me the final piece of the puzzle, allowing me to zero in on what was really going on when someone presented with an ailment that modern medicine was not fixing for example.

You don’t need to dash off and learn more about quantum physics, but if you really get into this way of thinking, you will want to know more! There are lots of publications where you do not have to have a scientific background in order to understand the concept, a good one to start with is Dr Bruce Lipton’s “The Biology of Belief.”

Personally, I find it very hard to believe or understand the thought that what we physically can see and feel doesn’t necessarily exist, but I do accept that the electrical energetic body is easily repairable – and that’s all I really need to know.

I hope you will enjoy the journey of discovery as much as I have, increasing your own understanding of how we interact with the world, and aiding others to regain their health and wellbeing.

Oxygen – Its Importance To The Human Body

In order to appreciate ozone one must first understand fully the critical role oxygen plays in human life. Oxygen is by far the most important necessity of human life. It performs hundreds of tasks in the body, but the two most important are energy production and detoxification.  The production of energy in the body is accomplished by the combination of glucose with oxygen, producing ATP. The body makes an amount of ATP equivalent to your body weight every 24 hours. If you make 10% less ATP than normal, you will feel tired and sluggish. If ATP production falls too far, you will deteriorate rapidly, and die. Energy is life and the production of energy in the body depends upon oxygen.

The second important function of oxygen is to combine with metabolic waste products to allow their elimination from the body. This process is called the oxidation reduction cycle. When insufficient oxygen is available, the detoxification process slows down, wastes pile up, circulation becomes sluggish, oxygen is prevented from reaching the cells, and disease results. Thus, we can see that oxygen is essential to these two vital phases of life.

Since oxygen is the most critical requirement for life, the ingestion of substances which increase the level of oxygen in the body are the most beneficial to optimum health. The best sources of oxygen are ozone, hydrogen peroxide and magnesium peroxide.

Under oxygenation is one of the main underlying causes of poor health. Oxygen/Ozone therapy seeks to redress this imbalance. Oxygen starvation is caused by poor breathing, de-oxygenated and refined foods, smoking, a lack of exercise, environmental pollution and carbon monoxide poisoning. Treatments both conventional and alternative do work – as long as the blood stream is properly oxygenated.

It is believed lack of sufficient cellular oxygen is a major cause of poor health i.e. low immunity, constant tiredness, regular colds and flu's, low vitality and M.E. These problems all respond well to oxygen/ozone therapy. People with asthma* and bronchitis also respond particularly well, though ozone is never actually inhaled it is applied by various methods which bypass the lungs. Headache and migraine sufferers also report benefits (are these conditions caused by lack of oxygen to the brain?) What we do know is that when the body is flooded with an activated form of oxygen, namely ozone, people consistently report that their health dramatically improves

Cortisol

Cortisol is made by the adrenal gland, it helps the body use glucose and fat for metabolism (energy) and helps the body manage stress. Levels of cortisol go up when the pituitary gland releases a hormone called adrenocorticotropic (ACTH). This steroid hormone is released in response to stress and/or a low concentration of blood glucose.

The problem for our health is that the cortisol is maintained at too high a concentration when we are stressed and this can lead, eventually, to all sorts of illnesses such as:

*
h3<>. rapid weight gain

*
h3<>. flushed face

*
h3<>. high blood pressure

*
h3<>. osteoporosis

*
h3<>. skin changes

*
h3<>. mood swings, including depression

*
h3<>. muscle weakness

*
h3<>. increased thirst and frequency of micturition.

This hormone regulates a wide range of processes throughout the body including metabolism, our immune response as well as a stress experienced in the body.

Almost every cell in the body contains receptors for cortisol, where some of its function are involved in:-

*
h3<>. influencing blood pressure

*
h3<>. control of salt and water balance

*
h3<>. influences memory formation

*
h3<>. anti-inflammatory

We go into considerable detail regarding the total endocrine system, the process and hormones involved, and the feelings, thoughts and emotions connected.

Head to Toe
