All too often in life mankind is so full of anxieties, because he doesn’t know what to do about things such as; how well I have something to eat? Where am I going to live? What am I going to wear? Am I going to be warm enough? Am I Going to be safe and where will I get a job? Will this job last a long time? The list goes on and on and mankind’s mind becomes so distraught from all the anxieties of life until he just can’t think clearly. Mankind is so caught up in the cares of this world that he could not hear what God was saying. Matthew 6:25” Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on….” Matthew 6:8 “Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.” There is God’s words of wisdom and in this book you shall find many more words, thoughts, and actions that will bring wisdom from God, Jesus the Christ and the Holly Spirit to set your feet on the path of peace and comfort as you; “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” Colossians 3:2

CARES AND ANXIETY

All too often in life mankind is so full of anxieties, because he doesn’t know what to do about things such as; how will I have something to eat? Where am I going to live? What am I going to wear? Am I going to be warm enough? Am I going to be safe and where will I get a job? Will this job last a long time? The list goes on and on and mankind’s mind becomes so distraught from all the anxieties of life until he just can’t think clearly. Mankind is so caught up in the cares of this world that he missed the bus stop and is still walking when he could have been riding, but he had his head down, looking at the grown when he should have been looking up and setting his; “… Affections on things above, not on things on this earth.” Colossians 3:2 Mankind says with his mouth I love God, but has not renewed his mind to truly trust God and his Holy Word to be true. Is it possible to love and yet not trust? I don’t believe so. “…Without faith, it is impossible to please Him: For he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews11:6 Are you slothfully seeking him or diligently? Mankind goes about frustrating himself trying to figure out how to do this and that for his betterment, only to become frustrated once again when what and how he is doing things don’t work out the way he had planned for them to work. God is saying, get on the bus and I will drive you to wisdom and the next stop is to truly accomplish whatever you deem to set your hand to, for the truth is; “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” Luke 1:27 If you want it to work for you in life, you’ll have to get on the bus called trust God with All your heart, All your soul (mind) and All your strength. It will take all the strength you have, some time, in this world to trust God when the world system, says that won’t work. It only takes your choice. “…I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what you shall eat; neither for the body, what you shall put on.” Who took care of mankind in the wilderness when there were no factories, farms, or stores to buy anything? Those that trust in this World system without Jesus Christ must turn to their own father who came to kill, steal, and destroy; that is why their desire is to consume things upon their own lust and have not. Satan has them blinded and they cannot understand why things just don’t work out, no matter how hard they sweat and work. It is written in the Word of God: “If you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God.” Colossians 3:1 and verse 2. “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. “Hold your head up and you will see the bus is coming. Get on the bus and there will be no struggle to get where you want to go and what you want to do in life if you trust the bus driver to get you there. Leave the driving to the Word of God and he will take you there safely. As you’re riding the bus, be a watchman and read the signs along the road. Here comes one now: Consider The Ravens: “For they neither sow nor reap; which neither have store house nor barn; and God feeds them….” Luke 12:24 Keep your eyes open, for here comes another sign: YOU’RE MUCH BETTER “…how much more are you better than the fowls?” Luke 12:25 “And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?” Do you like reading the signs, then read this one! “WHY TAKE YOU THOUGHT FOR RAIMENTTHE”? Matthew 6:28 “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27 Then if nothing is too hard for God then: “…Why take you thought for the rest?” Luke 12:26 All too often mankind is making it easier for God to count the hairs on his head by losing them over worrying about how to succeed in this life. Joseph kept his mind stayed on his Lord God, serving his master the way God said to do and God prospered him through man. Isn’t God greater than man? Look at Proverbs 21:1 “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turns it whithersoever he will.” Do your, actions express that he is greater? Well, look out the window, here comes another sign, CONSIDER THE LILIES. “…How they grow. They toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his Glory was not arrayed like one of these.” Luke 12:27 “If then God so clothed the grass, which is today in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O’ you of littler faith?” Luke 12:28 God looks at man with all his struggles in life, because of the distrust in God’s abilities to care for mankind. It is beyond me how so many can say they love God and distrust his Word so greatly. Wo-o-ow! Here comes a billboard. Why are you so worried for the things in this world? Don’t even tell me you missed that! “…All these things do the nations of the world seek after and your Father knows that you have need of these things.” Luke 12:30 Where is your bus taking you? Are you reading the sighs along to road side? What are they telling you? Are they telling you; “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also….” Luke 12:34 Is your job, your car, your house, your bank account, your wife, and your desires of want and need – where your true treasure is? Just what will you do to keep them? Don’t you know, you only have them, by the grace of God? If you are on the wrong bus and you’ve fallen asleep, when will you wake up and change buses for the one going to the right destination? Seek you first the Kingdom of God and he will direct all your paths and you will be gong in the right direction. That direction is called trust. Let me first establish some fundamental foundations supporting the Word of God never changes, before I go on. 1. Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that he should lie….” 2. Isaiah 55:11 “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Now, Knowing his word will not return void, I believe that we should look at the past in his word and we will not be surprised at things in the future. Ecclesiastes 1:9 “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done; and there is no new thing under the sun.” Does God change from time to time? Malachi 3:6 “For I am the Lord, I change not….” In the old testament, the only way to God is to believe that God is and that he is a rewarder of those that trust in him. In the New testament, we read: Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” I believe it is established that you are saved by faith and that faith is what brought you to believe that God is who he says he is. Also, that he sent his only begotten Son into this world and through the blood of Jesus the Christ, is the only way to the Father and in this you are under grace. Ask yourself, how did you get to that point? Wasn’t it by believing that God is God and that he would reward you with eternal life through His Son; Jesus Christ? Then that which has been is and it was done under grace and not by works. That truly means that if you believe (accept) what was done than you are saved, but that doesn’t mean that you were freed from keeping God’s Commandments and his statues if you wish to be blessed. You were freed from the laws of man as to what to wear and what to eat and how far you can travel on the sab-bath day, for God did not make those laws. The obedience of Jesus Christ to his Father only extended the opportunity to mankind to receive the Grace of God, but it is up to mankind to get on the bus. If you get on the bus you must love him with all your heart, all your soul, and with all your strength. That is the price of the fair to ride this bus; destination Kingdom of God Almighty. To Love God with all your heart, with all your soul (mind) and with all your strength is to trust his Word enough to do whatsoever he says to do, when to do, and how he says to do; unto the death. Are you truly ready for that? Many say I love God or I believe God, but do not trust what he says enough to apply it in their lives. Look around you, let a person get sick and they will run not walk to the Doctor and he will write on a piece of paper hand it to them and say, here take this and they will get it filled and take it not even truly knowing just what they are taking and what it will really do to them or for them, but the Doctor said and they trusted him. But, what do they do when God and Christ Jesus said to take his Word and do it? It breaks my heart to see how they have such little trust in what God says and how easy it is for them to trust in man. You will never get bad side effects by taking the Gods-pill truth daily and running the race. All too often many say with their mouth, I love God, I believe God, but did they truly believe God enough to trust what he says, or do they, truly, just believe that he is God out there somewhere? To love God is to truly trust God. Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Will you allow yourself to trust in that?

THE BLESSINGS OF OBEDIENCE

Deut. 28:1-6 “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth….” Our forefathers established this great Nation, America, on the very principles of God and His commandments. Truly it has been a nation set on high above all nations of the earth, setting the example before all other nations. I ask you, has that not been so? Then what God said in Deuteronomy is surely true even until this day and he truly is a God that never changes and will not lie. The facts cannot be denied, then why not accept every Word of God? Oh, while I am on this, I might as well explain: To accept it is, to apply it to every part of one’s life. That truly will work, in all areas. Again: Listen diligently to the voice of God (which is his word) to observe (to take in your heart and mind as truth and to do all his commandments and that means his statues also. Can we pick and choose what parts of God’s Word we will trust, believe, and accepting it enough to implement into our lives? Wouldn’t that be saying God told the truth here, but he lied there If we chose to live like that? Can we truly say that we love God by such a lifestyle? Let’s judge it by the very word of God, Himself. 1st. John 5:3 “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments; and His commandments are not grievous.” And this: 1st. John 2:3 “And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.” Let no man judge you, but you judge yourself. Do you truly know God, not by your own thoughts, but rather by the word of God? Is, the ten commandments of Deuteronomy done away with in the New Testament? 2nd John 6 “And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, that, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.” Then again and again we find that God surely meant what he said and did not lie, for that which has been shall be and is today and forever. Can we honestly say we love God, if we cannot trust his word? If that were the case how could we trust that we are saved, for it is written: Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.” I stated that because, A gift is given freely, but to receive any gift the receiver must reach out to take hold of it. We will get into that at a later time. Blessings come from obedience. Deuteronomy 28: 1-2 “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth.” 2. “And all these blessings shall come on thee….” That proves that blessings come from obedience, wouldn’t you say so? This is words of wisdom, for by the word of God do we know the truth to the question: who is my brother and sister in Christ Jesus? John 5: 15 “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 5:21, 23, 24 “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me….” V.23. “If a man loves me, he will keep my words….” V.24 “He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.” Jesus told them, in a sense, you don’t have to accept what I am saying, but it is not my word that you are not accepting; but the Father’s word. Yes, the God you say you love and trust. How about this: John 15:10 “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.” Do you now know who your brothers and sisters are, by the word of God? Jesus had this to say about those that were not of God, but called themselves the children of God. Luke 6:46 “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Were they listening diligently to the voice of the Lord their God? I don’t believe so, and if the Lord was to bless them he would have been blessing them for disobedience. Then we must conclude that the Blessings of God come of obedience unto the Word of God and God alone. Again, that means mankind needs to diligently study to show himself approved unto God to be a workman, observing the Word of God and rightly dividing it; to use it correctly to do all of God’s commandments. Some say, that’s impossible, but God said, all things are possible, if thou canst believe. Believe what? That through Jesus Christ, who will strengthen you. Who does that strengthening? Jesus is the Word and as you believe the Word enough to apply it to your everyday life it will strengthen your trust in God that it will not fail you. The more a person practices something the better they will get at it, so when do you want to get started practicing? If you want the blessings of God then do as he said and be obedient and you will be blessed coming and going and you can’t get more blessed than that. Our forefathers founded this United States on the very Principles of God and look at Deuteronomy 28:6 how God has kept his word over this country. This nation, has never been broke and has always been a lender to other countries and no weapon formed against us prospered until it has begun turning away form it’s, creator God Almighty. Look at the facts before your own eyes. Words of wisdom. God’s Word was true when Moses spoke it and what you have seen and are seeing today is it now also true today? You be the judge in your own heart, for it is your own life that will or will not be blessed according to what you accept. Amen! When we can see the truth in Deuteronomy 28:6, then will Deuteronomy 28:15 not also be true? “But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:” I must insert at this point, something I pray, you will deeply consider in your heart and mind. I cannot change the entire world, but I can change this one place where I am standing and know that for this cause, I was created in the love of God. Amen! Than by this: Do you know for what cause, you were created? Have you even thought about it?

HOW IS THE STATE OF YOUR FAITH?

Jesus cleanses a leper: Mark 1:44 (Jesus) “…said unto him, see thou say nothing to any man; but go thy way, show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.” 1. Them that are spoken of here is the priest. 2. The man was to be a testimony that to follow what Moses commanded would have affirmed that Jesus believed and fulfilled the Old Testament Law. What was the bases of the Old Testament Law? Could it have been simply to obey what so ever God said? This is what he said: Matthew 22:37-39 “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” 38. “This is the first and great commandment.” 39. “And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” How did Jesus fulfill that law? If Jesus were a leper would he not want someone that had the authority to heal to come and heal him? Jesus loved the man as himself; did he not? Jesus had all faith that what so ever he asked of the Father would be given him. Some might ask, how could he be so sure that his Father would give whatsoever he asked, without fail? It is because the word of God never returns void and Jesus, the Son of God the Father Almighty; hearkened diligently unto the voice of his father; to observe and to do all his commandments. You see, out of obedience was he blessed coming and going, just as God had said through Moses. Some say, oh yeah, but Jesus was the Son of God. Did he not say he came as the son of man in the flesh that mankind would know that as he did so could man do through him? That is verified in John 14:12-14 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on my, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” Words of wisdom: why aren’t we doing it then? Could it be that we are only saying we believe his word? Could it be that we are truly trusting in what we think we can or cannot do? Verse 13 “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” Will you trust in the word of God with all that you have, that the Father may be glorified in the Son? Verse 14 “If ye shall ask any thing in my name. I will do it.” Do you really believe what he said or are you just feeling like you would like to believe it? God’s words of wisdom: ask within yourself. Jesus was asked, by what authority do you do these things? It was by the authority his father, given to his obedient Son and it is today that these things are done by Jesus the Son of God almighty to the obedient of the Children of God. As it is written: “If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” Can anyone truly Love God the Father, Jesus the Christ, and the Holy Spirit and not be obedient to the Word of God? Here is what Jesus himself has to say about that: John 14:15 “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” What state is your faith in, no man’s land? Many say I love God, Jesus is my savior, but are they doing the will of God? Luke 6:46 “And why call you me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” Now this is the one that truly loves God: Luke 6:47-48 “Whosoever comes to me, and hears my sayings, and does them, I will show you to whom he is like:” 48. “He is like a man which built a house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock; and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it; for it was founded upon a rock.” How is the state of your faith? Did you build a house or just a lean-to and when the storm of life came did it lean to the world or did it stand on the word of God? Did you truly dig deeply into the word of God and lay your foundation in life on God’s word, which is a rock that will not crumble in pieces when the flood of trials in life come? God’s words of wisdom: think on this, why did God say to love Him with all your strength? Could it be that when your fait is shaken it will take all the word of God that you have trusted in to keep your house from being shaken to bits every time a little breeze comes by you? That’s right, a little breeze and what will you do when it seems that you are hit with a tornado of trials in life? Did you make Jesus the corner stone of your house? Do all your decisions rest on the foundation of the Word of God? What is the true foundation of all things in your life? Who has the final say over every decision in every area of your life? Is it the word of God – in every area?

TO LOVE GOD IS TO TRUST GOD

We were borne into a world filled with doubt in anything other than our own capabilities and that makes it so very hard for mankind to trust God with all their heart, all their soul (mind) and mankind has no strength in himself, although he thinks he can. He fights with what he has learned is logical, but just how capable is mankind in himself? Was the world and all that is above, or beneath it created by man? Then just how capable is mankind without God? Yet, man will strive so hard in life to succeed, but ultimately does not succeed as he had hoped, all so many times. All too often mankind wants the blessings of God without truly trusting that God’s Word is true and will not return void. I hear so often, many saying; How do you know that God is real? My answer is: just who do you run to when someone you love deeply is ill and a Doctor says he can do nothing? Yes, you run to The God, whom you did not trust and truly know nothing about, but now you believe that He exists. In the natural sense of things, would you take the word of someone you never met before when it meant the life of a loved one? Most likely, you would say no, but do you truly know the Doctor? If you had to make a very long trip that was of the utmost importance to you and had to drive, would you take a car that was all rundown. I am sure that you would feel safe and secure driving a new car that you never seen run before. Just because you cannot see God, you say how can I trust something I cannot see; yet you just trusted a car you never seen run. With that kind of thinking, can mankind truly say they love God with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his strength?

ACTIONS HAVE REACTIONS

Wisdom comes from learning from the examples in life set before us.

Here is an example of trusting in self: Numbers 13:1-3 “and the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,” 2. “Send you men, that thy may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall you send a man everyone a ruler among them.” Moses did just what God had instructed him to do and he did it in just the fashion that God had instructed him to do it in. This is wisdom. Moses did nothing more and nothing less. That is the type of obedience that God is looking for from those that wish to serve him. When man wants to add or take away from what God instructs that action is going to have negative reaction. For one to have authority, one must be under authority! Moses had authority as a prince of Egypt and understood being under authority and did nothing of himself then or later in his life. Moses loved Pharaoh, and when Pharaoh said, build my city; Moses went to work without any questions or argument. Could it be that God placed Moses in the house of Pharaoh to learn the love that is obedient without question? Are you striving to reach that goal with God the Father and His Christ Jesus? Now Moses loves God even greater than Pharaoh and does not argue with God, but just does as God says, how he says and when he says; because Moses knew he is under the authority of God and not in authority. Are you under authority and who’s authority, or do you think you’re in authority? Perhaps you’re in a place to learn how to be under authority. Will you fight the authority, just because it comes from another person? Again, perhaps it was God placing you under that person? How long do you want to stay in that position? Moses learned and God moves him on to an even greater position. As you can see actions do have reactions. What will your actions cause in your life? Could it be the reason, God instructed us to be watchmen in life? Are you trusting in the instructions of someone that God has placed you under? Numbers 13:20 “…and be of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land,” Moses didn’t instruct them to be frightened at what they might see. He, in the authority of God instructed them to be of good courage. Meditate on this: The Tribal Rulers were in authority over each of their tribes. Leaders, and how would they lead their people. In good courage or in fear. Fathers how will you lead your family? Mothers how will you lead your daughters? The Trial rulers were to be under the authority of God that had been placed upon Moses, but did they listen to the one in authority above them? I must repeat myself, because of the importance of this statement: For one to be in authority, one must first be under authority. Did these Rulers diligently listen to all that Moses had told them? They apparently listened to what they wanted to hear and closed their ears to the rest, therefore only doing half of what they were instructed to do. They brought of the fruit of the land, but trembled in their skin at the people they seen in the land. Not good courage! As children in school the teacher instructed us to do something for home work and we listened to part and when we turned in our assignment we failed, when it was only half right. As mature, adults we should have learned to listen and as Rulers they surely should have learned to listen. That lesson not only cost them greatly, but those they were to lead. God’s words of wisdom: what will your actions cost others? Are you truly being a watchman?

THE REPORT OF THE SPIES

Numbers 13:26-33 “And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children if Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land.” 27. “And they told him, and said, we came unto the land where you sent us, and surely it flowed with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.” That was only part of what they were told to do. When people try to do something without the aid or guidance of God, they can only give excuses for their failure. Here comes, the excuses looking for a place of failure. 28. “Never the less the people be strong that dwell in the land,” Now, that didn’t seem good enough to use as an excuse for fear, so how about giving another? “And the cities are walled, and very great….” That one wasn’t convincing enough either to justify having fear, so let’s give another. “… And moreover, we saw the children of Anak there.” Just what are they leading up to, for God said, very plainly, search the land of Canaan, Which I give unto the children of Israel. Again, God didn’t say, go see if you can take the land of Canaan, and what do these Tribal Rulers come back saying? We love you God, but nevertheless, and moreover we just don’t trust your word God; after all, look at what we saw. It would have been a good time to apply a little trust in the Word of their God whom they say they love. Amen! Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Did they have hope that they could enter the land? Now they doubted that they could, because of the children of Anak and other reasons. They had no substance to hold to, because they could not trust in the sure foundation of God’s word. Those living under the influence of the World system find in much easier to believe a lie, which is the things they can see, hear, taste, smell, or touch, but Faith is the things which you cannot see. Like, you cannot see God and the Word Spoken by God, but it is the evidence not seen. They just could not see how God would give the land to them, so they didn’t trust his word. Can you trust the Words God has spoken or will you be like these that God called their report an “Evil” report? Let’s go on and see why God called it “Evil”. Numbers 13:29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south; and the Hittites, and Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.” I must ask, what does all that have to do with anything? Are they more powerful than God? Their attitude was as if God was incapable to accomplish his word, because of these people; when it was God who brought them out of Egypt. Think cautiously, how many times and ways that mankind with his fear and distrust has, in attitudes and actions, called God Almighty a weakling in comparison to man; in this day and age, as did the ten spies. My, My, four hundred years, they lived as slaves and who came to free them? Now, God Almighty sends a man called Moses and they are freed without a battle, but by the Word of God spoken through this man. The man stretches out his staff in hand, speaks to God and there is a pillar of fire to hold back the enemy and again he stretches out his staff, speaks to God and the Red Sea opens up and now they’re not going to accept that God is using that man to speak to them and in doing so they are calling God, himself a liar. Are we any different today or will we learn to accept those that God has sent when we see the workings of God in the man and hear the words of God and God alone from the man? Their actions can only be understood when we look at ourselves. If your eyes are on the flesh that is standing before you and you’re not trusting God, because your spiritual heart is dead and your spiritual eyes are blind and all that you can hear and see is man in the flesh. God’s words of wisdom: Moses proved before all men that God was doing the work through him then and today take caution, but let the man be proven by the Word of God in him and then, take heed to the instructions. Caleb and Joshua Loves God and trusted God and understood: 1. That Moses was the very representative of God. 2. It was God speaking through Moses, not Moses himself, therefore I could just hear Caleb saying; God said it and I believe it, and that is that! Caleb and Joshua knew that God uses those that are welling, to do and say what so ever is to be said or done. Caleb also knew his God and he knew there is nothing too hard for his God. V.30. “And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” It’s time to take a good look at the words closely; at once and possess. He didn’t say, when we get our stuff together, let’s go see if we can take it. V.31. “But the men that went up with him said, we be not able to go up against the people; (now look at their words) “for they are stronger than we.” They failed and failed their own tribe they were leading, for their trust and faith was in self. Where is you trust? I pray this is helping you to renew your thinking and understanding as a child of God. Their strength had nothing to do with it when it was given to the children of Israel and no one else. Look closely at words when you read for each word in its self is the most important like this word: Was, is a past tense and that meant it is theirs now not later! God didn’t say he was giving it to all the freed slaves that were there. He said Israel. Perhaps these Tribal Leaders hung around and listened to those former slaves that did not know the God of Abraham. They only knew how to rely on their own strength. Did you ever think of that? These ten Rulers believed in the, fit of the fittest, not their God. They had a problem, because they weren’t very fit; as they saw themselves as grasshoppers before their enemies. Numbers 13:32 “…They brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying; the land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eats up the inhabitants here of; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.” Yes, God called their report an evil report. These men are acting as though there is no God or that their God has left them all alone and if anything is going to get done they must do it themselves, because their God is incapable of giving the land to them. Have you ever felt that way when what you see, hear and are doing is not going the way you wanted or hoped it would go? Well, let me tell you, God was not happy with those men, nor will he be happy with people today that doubt what he has said, for to doubt the Word of God is to call him a liar and that would make Satan his father, for Satan is the father of liars. Now, can you see why doubting the Word of God would provoke him greatly to the point of wanting to destroy them? I can’t say it enough in hopes that mankind will deeply understand the immensity of sin to doubt the very Word of God when it was His word that created all. These men just continued on and on with one reason or excuse after another as to why they couldn’t just take what God had given. They just couldn’t get their eyes off themselves and stand on the Word of God. Verse 33. “And there we saw the Giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants; and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers and so we were in their sight.” How do you see yourself in life when trials come? When things are not going your way, are you like a grasshopper before the things that seem to be giants standing in the middle of the road that you are on? Do you turn and run as those in the world do with no strength? Or do you stand with your head up and say I am more than a conqueror through the Word of God in Christ Jesus, for His Word will show me just what to do in the situation? To Love God is to trust God with all your heart, all your soul, and with all your strength. Example: The giants that you see before you are only grasshoppers in the sight of God; as God sees you as more than conquerors. Romans 8:37 “…In all these things we are more than conquerors through him (Jesus) that loved us.” They were more than conquerors through God Almighty. You are more than conquerors today through Jesus the Christ. To love God, they were to trust and show that they believed the Word of God then, and mankind has to trust and show God that he believes the Word of God today. That distrustful attitude didn’t get very far with God then and it will not get anyone very far with God today. Don’t you agree?

ARE WORDS AT ALL IMPORTANT?

So many today are afraid to talk about mankind’s works. Let me make this very clear in hopes, not to be misunderstood. Works will surely not save you, but works will surely tell who you are. John 14:12 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also….” Also, Titus 1:6 “They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient…” Well then does that sound like a person’s works has nothing to do with anything? The very Word of God spoke for itself, didn’t it? Let this be an example unto you: These Rulers not only distrusted the ability of God and his Work, but they caused each tribe to distrust God Almighty also. How abominable and disobedient is that? Have you taken time to think about your actions before mankind and what those actions are causing others to think? Yes, it is an individual’s right to disbelieve whatsoever they might choose to not believe, but these Rulers were responsible for the guidance of others and it is truly abominable to have seen all that God had done up to this point and lead an entire congregation into rebellion against the Word of God. Numbers 14:1 “And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.” Now they are going to spend all night going, whoa, poor me and crying, I don’t have and it’s not my fault. We can only do so much, we’re not the blame. Let’s find something or someone else to blame. Numbers 14:2 “And All the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Against Aaron and the whole congregation said unto them. Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or would God we had died in this wilderness!” People ought to be more careful of what they say as they got just what they said and died in that very wilderness. God’s instruction to mankind was to love him with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength and what a weak-minded people they are after all that God had shown them. “They decided among themselves that they couldn’t blame Moses and Aaron any longer, so why not just blame God. Numbers 14:3 “And wherefore hath the Lord brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a pray? Were it not better for us to return into Egypt?” Has mankind changed so much today from then? I hear: God I was listening to you and changed my job and now look where I am. I was better off where I was. Lord, I tried following your Word, but where has it gotten me, for I’m still without and I can’t see a way out of this mess. God, I’ve tried everything, but look at everything that is happening. When things go wrong do you blame God or a man of God. Perhaps, you should ask him to show you where you’ve gotten on the wrong bus, going in the wrong direction? Don’t blame God when things are not going well. Most of the time it’s our own fault by depending on our own ideas of what to do, when to do, and how to do, that has placed us on the wrong bus, going in the wrong direction. Why not, just take God at his Word, stand up pull the cord and get off that bus and take the one in the opposite direction to God. The ten tribal rulers wanted to blame God as many do today when things don’t look like it is going our way. How often, mankind forgets so easy that we are the imperfect ones in life, not our Lord God and what will it cost to blame God? For them it was the promised land that they never got to enter, because of disbelief. What is your promised land that you will give up because of disbelief in a perfect God?

DO ATTITUDES OF DISBELIEF TRULY UPSET YOUR SPIRIT?

It did with the men of God. Let’s take a good look: Numbers 14:5 “Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.” Why did these men fall on their faces? They had done nothing wrong. Take a look at it as a captain in a warzone having the responsibility of the lives of many men in his hands, therefore he must understand that every word he speaks and every action he commits will affect the lives of these men and perhaps even more. You can be sure that Moses, and Aaron understood; that the eternal lives of others were in the God given authority and wisdom they possess and must use it wisely, but the tribal rulers apparently gave no thought to the very effect of what they say and do would have on others. Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before God as in authority of the people that they were willing to accept the fault and beseech the forgiveness of God in their place. Makes me think of Jesus taking on the sin of the world for us as though it were his, doesn’t it? Sometimes we are leading, guiding and directing others and we ourselves don’t even realize that others are watching us throughout our every day and have thoughts and feelings about what we say and do. Are we even concerned about the effect that our lives may have on others? I am sure that at one time or another, you have heard someone say, “I don’t care, it’s my life and I can do as I want!” That kind of attitude has destroyed so many others as our lives are, like it or not, truly intertwined in many ways; just think on it. The attitude of the ten rulers upset the spirit of the entire congregation to the point of feeling hopeless and abandoned by God. It also had an effect on Caleb, Joshua, Moses, and Aaron the men of God, who must have felt in their spirit, will this people ever learn to trust God with all their heart, with all their soul, and with all their strength? Yes, making their spirit, as we say, sick at heart.

WHAT EFFECT ARE YOU HAVING ON OTHERS?

What are your words and actions telling others about the God you say you love? What effect are they going to have on the lives of others? Will they make others stronger or will they make them weak and unable to overcome the trials in life? Does that matter to you, before God to be a watchman over your own actions and every day speech? Ecclesiastes 1:9 “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.” By this we can assuredly conclude that as the speech and actions of the ten affected others, so shall ours to day have an effect on those around us and yes, we will be held accountable before God Almighty as those in times past. Are we listening diligently to the instructions of God? God, told mankind to keep him stayed on their mind and are we doing that? When our thoughts are on what we want, like, need or think we need, are our minds stayed on God? When we use the title, Christian, are we thinking about our actions and speech before others and what it will cause others to think of our God? What effect are you having on others? There was two other men that were truly effected by what the tribal rulers had to say and how they acted. These men deeply loved their God with all their heart and to hear the words of distrust in God deeply disturbed them. Numbers 14:6 “And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes.” Israelites only rent their clothes when in very deep distress over something, therefore we know that they were truly deeply upset over the lack of trust that the ten rulers had in God, again, after all that God had done among them and yet no trust in the word of God. Caleb and Joshua, being men of God could not just stand there and do or say nothing at what they were hearing and seeing. How many times will those that say they love God just stand, saying and doing nothing at what they see and hear around them? Numbers 14:7 “And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.” V. 8 “If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.” Have you ever noticed give it us and not us the land? The land was cursed with the ungodly inhabitants that were living there and God was about to bless that land with His people, therefore the land was about to be given us. I hope that delighted your spirit. These two men are about to give; mighty console to all the congregation. Verse 9. “Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defense is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not.” Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper….” That was then and is for now also, for there is no new thing under the heavens. Do you believe that all the Word of God is inspired of God and not of man? If you do then look very closely at the order in which the words are placed, for there is much to be learned here. 1. God will bring us into this land. It is not we will just go in, or we will fight to go into this land, or again, someone will take us into this land, but rather God himself will bring us (by his own hand) into this land. Now that is something when you really think about being brought in by the hand of God. I just love it! I know I mentioned this earlier, but we seem to never deeply get something the first time. Now look at something else that is so amazing when you think about it. 2. “and give – it – us;” Again, the land was being – given the children of Israel. The people that now lived there were not Godly people, therefore the land had been a cursed with the ways of the people and now the land was about to be blessed by the children of God coming into it. God had already begun to prepare the land to receive Israel and that is why it was a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord had said. Now isn’t that something to think about? I hope you feel it was worth explaining once again? The land was a creation of God and needed to have a blessing upon it, but that was the first democracy and Caleb and Joshua were out voted ten to two. Don’t let others disbelief dictate your trust in the word of God or will you be the one that will just stand your ground and say: God said it, I believe it, and that is that then truly put His Word to use in every part of your life? It is so easy to say with our mouth, I love and trust God, as the Israelites did, but time and time again their heart failed, what their mouth was saying. I believe that is why God said to Love him with all you heart, for the heart is where the strength is in mankind. How about a boxer that is told, you can never win, because you have no heart? How about Joshua 1:6 “Be strong and of good courage…” Joshua was one of the two that was willing to go now into the land. Will you be willing to go and to do whatsoever God says, when he says it or will your heart be overwhelmed by your brain? What effect will your life have on others around you? Do you keep that on your mind? If you do as Caleb and Joshua did, you will be blessed as they were and entered the promised land. And God said in Joshua 1:3 “Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.” God kept his word and will you keep your word? How important is your word? God said: give and it shall be given, then if you want to be trusted, you must first learn to trust. To distrust God is to be rebellious as the ten tribal rulers. Take heed to this part: The rebelliousness was not against Moses or Aaron, but against the Word of God that was given to Moses from God, for they knew that Moses and Aaron where ambassadors of God and that applies to this day, for God is not a changing God. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Amen. Joshua and Caleb knew in their hearts and trusted in this: 2nd.Corinthians 10:4 “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.” What are the strongholds in your life and do you trust the word of God to pull them down? They saw Pharaoh and his army’s and many other strongholds pulled down, and should have believed that the giants where only grasshoppers in the eyes of God. Have you kept your eyes opened and what have you seen? All the others had seen it also, but all too often, there is nothing that can be said or done to change someone’s heart or mind once they have made it up and it was like that then and so it is even today. Is your heart and mind made up about something or are you truly open to receive things of God that you have never heard some way before and consider and let God be the one to confirm it in your life? Rejecting the truth of God’s word is a devastating thing to one’s life as it opens the door to anger and every evil work. Numbers 14:10 “But all the congregation bade stone them with stones, and the Glory of the Lord appeared in the Tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel.” It is written: I will never leave you, nor forsake you, and God was right there with his protection over those that trusted in him with all their heart, all their soul, and with all their strength from the beginning to the very end of life. Ask your own self, when you look in a mirror do you truly see yourself clearly?

CAN A PERSON DISTRUST GOD ALL TOO MUCH?

Numbers 14:11 “And the Lord said unto Moses. How long will this people provoke me? And how long will it be that they will not believe me for the signs which I have shown among them? Numbers 14:12 “I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they.” When I read this I just can’t help feeling how utterly disheartening it must have been that such a loving God would be made to even think it necessary to just annihilate every person that would not trust in his word, after all that he had shown them. Yet, I ask myself, just what kind of people can this be that continue to go about in complete denial of the strength and power in the word of God? Is it even possible that they could think that what Moses had told them was just words of Moses, himself and not the very words of God? At the foot of God’s Holy mountain, they heard Moses speak the judgment of God Almighty and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed all those that sinned and would not repent. At that time, they understood it was the Word of God, spoken through his servant Moses. How soon they forgot and now after hearing and seeing what took place they will assume that it is only the words of men like Moses, Aaron, Caleb or Joshua the servants of God Almighty and reject the awesome truth in the words and go their own way once again. That kind of thinking just boggles my mind. How about you? What do you do when, truly, a man of God tells you something? Do you look at the man, or do you listen closely to see if it lines up with the Word of God and if it does do you accept it and act upon it then? I ask myself just how long is God going to suffer indignation by mankind today. Remember God is a God that shall not be mocked, he will never change, what was shall be, and His Word shall not return void. I urge mankind to deeply meditate upon that statement. His love most certainly has endured much, but take heed of God’s Word: Genesis 6:3 “And the Lord said My spirit shall not always strive with man….” I think, sometimes we seem to forget that God is real and has feeling. Not to make God like us, but for understanding, look at yourself; when you are pushed and pushed do you not get provoked to anger? Perhaps mankind ought to remember God is real and truly does have emotions and we that love Him ought to highly regard God’s feelings at all times. Thank God, His limit is far greater than mine and others with our, sometimes, short fuse. Will you believe his word will not return void?

DO YOU WANT TO PLEASE GOD?

Again and again we have read and heard how, Hebrews 11:6 “Without faith it is impossible to please him.” Then allow me to give you some things that may shake up your thinking enough, that you will began to fight your doubts and have great faith that will surely please God. Do you not think there was enough evidence all around Noah all of his life to prove to his brain that it was shear foolishness to build anything that would float? In all of his life it had not even sprinkled one drop of water. Don’t you think his brain was saying, come on now, how is there going to be a flood? Why would a sane God want me to build an Ark and one that will take me and my sons years of hard work? This has to be a trick of Satan. Isn’t that how we think when things just do not seem to make any sense to our little finite minds we just write it off as a trick of Satan and forget it, don’t we? Then why would he have done so without an argument? We find that Noah truly was a man of God, for Noah knew his God and understood that the ways of God are surely far above man’s knowledge. Noah didn’t just know of God as many know that God exists, but do not truly know him. Stop and think, it is kind of like couples that have lived together for many years and yet they paid little attention to each other and truly know not what the other likes or dislikes. I’m sure you have known someone in life like that, but Noah paid attention to his God and knew his God never asks for something without a very good reason and Noah knew that he, himself did not have to understand God’s reasoning. Love is willing to give without reason. That is something that mankind surely needs to work on obtaining, I’m sure you will agree. How did Noah come to this knowledge of God? Noah knew Enoch. You could say that Enoch was Noah’s mentor. What was Enoch like? Hebrews 11:5 “…before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. “Now that is the kind of mentor everyone should look for in life. Yes, Noah, knew Enoch and Noah; by the testimony of Enoch learned to trust God the creator of All, therefore when God said build an Ark there is going to be a flood, Noah said to himself, I better get busy and asked God for the blueprint that it might be built the way God wanted it built. When God asks you to do something who long does it take you to get started? Do you ask for his guidance in doing it how He wants it done or do you think you can just go do it in your own knowledge? Do you really want strong faith? When a man wants to be strong, he must work hard and lift a lot of weights and if he does, as a routine in life, he will succeed. Are you willing to life the weights in life set before you? Look at the sons of Noah; they too must have been taught to trust in God and Noah also must have shown himself, all of his life to be a man that loved and trusted his God and God alone, in front of his children and his wife and all those around him. What do your children, wife, and those around you see and hear? Is it truly a constant way of life that they can trust in? Noah’s sons trusted their father’s ways, therefore they helped him without delay. Who are you keeping company with? How much time are you spending with them? Are you truly taking in what they say and do? Is what they say and do truly lining up with the Word of God? Are you fighting with all your strength all the reasoning of the mind like Noah and his sons must have done when everyone around them must have laughed and made great fun of them every day all the years of working on the Ark? The unbelievers, unfortunately their laughter suddenly turned to great remorse when the door was closed and the rain began to fall. How long will mankind continue to think the ways of men and women of God are only foolishness? How long will you wait to trust in every Word of God? I pray it will not be until the door is closed and sealed tight! Do you want to please God? Here are some people that filled God’s heart with the greatest of joy and are now in….

GOD’S HALL OF TRUE FAITH

Hebrews 11:5 “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; And was not found, because God had translated him; for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.” KJV.

Hebrews 11:7 “By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by faith which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.” Do you want the rewards of God? Than join those in God’s hall of faith; by trusting the Word of God and nothing else?” KJV.

Hebrews 11:8 “Abraham trusted God, and when God told him to leave home and go far away to another land, which he promised to give him, Abraham obeyed. Away he went, not even knowing where he was going. LBV.

Hebrews 11:11 “Sarah, too, had faith, and because of that she was able to become a mother in spite of her old age, for she realized that God, who gave her his promise, would certainly do what he said. LBV.

Hebrews 11:17 “By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac; and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son.” (18) “Of whom it was said, that in Isaac shall thy seed be called:” KJV. (and, so it was and is to this day.) Then it was true even though Abraham could not see it he believed God and acted upon the Word of God. Within yourself, can you truly trust God without seeing the things you hope for? Is His Word good enough for you? Just what will it take for you to one hundred percent believe the Word of God? Ask God for it, for He freely gives to them that ask.

Hebrews 11:20 “It was by faith, that Isaac knew God would give future blessings to his two sons, Jacob and Esau.” LBV.

Hebrews 11:21 “By faith Jacob, when he was old and dying, blessed each of Joseph’s two sons as he stood and prayed, leaning on the top of his can….” LBV.

Hebrews 11:22 “It was by faith that Joseph, as he neared the end of his life, confidently spoke of God bringing the people of Israel out of Egypt: and he was so sure of it that he made them promise to carry his bones with them when they left!” Was that done? Then his faith was not in vain! Nor will your faith ever be in vain when you truly trust and believe without a doubt in God!

Hebrews 11: 23 By faith, “Moses’ parents, when they saw that God had given them an unusual child, they trusted that God would save him from the death the king commanded, and they hid him for three months, and were not afraid.” Now that is faith—Unafraid! How many times have you heard someone say they were afraid they might lose their home or a loved one might die, or this or that? Fear is not of God and fear is not trusting that God will keep his word when He said: Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.” LBV. Do you trust God? Then trust His Word to not fail you. Test your own self and see where your faith truly stands with God.

Hebrews 11:24-25 “By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter;” 25. “Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;” I am sure that many would have said to themselves: If I was Moses I could have done more for the Children of God by being Pharaoh and it may have looked that way, but God’s ways are greater than that of man. God spoke to the heart of Moses long before the burning bush and Moses was compelled to follow the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Are you compelled or do you just think it is a good Idea? Ideas do change when one feels that a better idea comes along. Not very stable is that? Would you like a mate that felt you were a good idea until a better idea happened by?

Hebrews 11:26 By faith Moses, ”esteemed the reproach of Christ greater riches then the treasures of Egypt; for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward.” What will you put before God? Good times, house, car, job, wife, children, or wealth to carry you over in your latter years? I know that many will not be this blunt, but for mankind’s sake I must be just that. What are you willing to hang on to and go to hell? I pray that statement made you deeply stop and think about your life and desires. Moses gave it all up even if it would have cost him his life. Is your faith beginning to grow strong? Do you honestly want to be in God’s hall of faith? Then let me continue.

Hebrews 11:27 “By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king.

“Hebrews 11:28 “By faith he kept the pass-over, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.” There was nothing that would actually prove that it would cause it to pass, but he acted on faith that proved his trust in the word of God. We live in the world, but are not to be of the world and yet like the world many seem to always need proof that God’s word will work before acting on it. I can’t help wonder when mankind will truly learn to completely accept that God cannot lie?

Hebrews 11:29 “By faith, they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land;” The faith of Moses stood in the gap for the others of Israel, But no one was there in faith for the Egyptians and they were drowned. When you just can’t believe something, just who is standing in the gap for you? Think on this: I believe it is our Lord and Master Jesus the Christ through the Holy Spirit that is standing in the gap. I also wonder just how long he will stand in the gap waiting for us to mature into all that we are to become? Well, how much more do I need to say? It would take too long to recount the stories of the faith of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthan and David and Samuel and all the other prophets and men of God. These people all trusted God and as a result won battles, overthrew kingdoms, ruled their people well, and received what God had promised them. They were kept form harm in a den of lions, and in a fiery furnace, some through their faith, escaped death by the sword, some were made strong again after they had been weak or sick, others were given great power in battles; they made whole armies turn and run away, and some women, through faith, received their loved ones back again from death….” You have just walked out of Egypt having seen all the miracles of God, crossed the Red Sea and seen your enemies drowned and stood at the foot of God’s Holy mountain and watched the earth open her mouth to receive the disbelievers of God swallowed up and the anger of God at those ten Rulers that just could not bring themselves to trust God. Now where is your faith? What Lion’s Den will you seek God’s wisdom to get you out of it? When will you trust the Word of God to get you out of the furnace you are in? Like the ten spies, sometimes we’re just hanging around the wrong people that if a snowball hit them in the face, they just couldn’t believe that it’s cold and not hot. If that is the case then it’s time you change your companions for those that believe that God is God and that’s all there is to it! I pray this has helped you to understand that it is not a game that mankind can afford to play, for the consequences are devastating as those that only believed God when they were in need of help. Faith is the substance of things not seen and you cannot see God, but His Word is substance that upholds all things!

BE TRUTHFUL WITH YOURSELF

So many people say: I wish, I could have faith like that. Others say, I wish I could believe like so and so does, but it’s easy for them, they’re not going through what I am. There are just all too many excuses that mankind uses for their lack of something in their lives. The truth is, they can have the same faith in God and the ability to accomplish what he has sent his word unto. 1. You must believe that God truly is God and there is no other. 2. That he truly loves mankind. He may not always be pleased with the things mankind chooses to do with the life he has given them, but his love is always there for the taking. 3. That his Word is mighty to the pulling down of strongholds, of any kind. 4. That his word will never return void, and that is never. 5. You must do your part to build trust in a God whom you cannot see. Trials and tribulations are only the opportunity to put God’s Word to use in your life. You should rejoice knowing that after using God’s Word in faith it proves to your mind that it is true and from there that Word can never be doubted by your mind ever again. For that reason, when Satan give you a trial he is truly blessing you with the opportunity to use the Word of God. Have you ever thought of it in that light of truth? But that does not work if you doubt the Word of God and why call God a liar about His Word? It would be better to just not use God’s word and I pray that will not take place in anyone’s life. 6. The way you began building that trust is: 1a. Accept that the Word of God is not just something that man has written, but it surely is God’s own Word inspired into man to record for all time that we may understand all that He is, All that He can do, All that he has done, and all that he will do. 2a. Now you must read and accept all and I mean all the accounts where God the Father and his Son Jesus spoke and their Word did not return void. God sent men to do and God saw that it was done and God’s Hall of faith records much and more, but you must be truthful with yourself and where you are lacking ask of God; as a father of a young man sought Jesus to heal his son, but didn’t know if he had enough faith. Take this deep within your heart and mind. Mark 9:24 “And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord I believe; Help thou mine unbelief.” Do you think it helped the father’s unbelief? When he saw Jesus had healed his son? Just what is the one thing in your life that is your anchor to unbelief? Jesus is asking you today, do you believe enough in me to ask for help and trust that I will help? Perhaps no one has ever loved you enough to tell you straight out just how devastating it is to your own wellbeing to show distrust in what God has said, but I am going to tell you, because our God loves you so very much. Was it devastating to those that distrusted God and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them up? If a person called you and asked you to come over and you told them you would be there in hour and they called you back in fifteen minutes and asked you again if you were going to come over, would you feel like they didn’t trust your word the first time you told them? Of course you would, and wouldn’t that action have called you a liar when you said you would come in an hour and the hour is not up yet? We say actions speak louder than words, don’t we? Now remember we are to be truthful with ourselves. Well, that is just how God views our distrust, for he is a God of truth and he is not a liar. Think seriously, if God ever lied just one- time Satan would become his father, for Satan is the father of liars. My God, my God, no wonder why God got so upset when he sent spies into the land to see what he gave the children of Israel and come back and say we cannot take it. Is that action not calling God a liar? God did not say you have to take it, he said I give it unto you. Oh, but you call me a liar and say you must take it. I would be very upset also. Now wouldn’t you? Hebrews 6:17-18 “Wherein God, willing more abundantly to show unto the heir of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:” Verse 18. “That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie….” 1. The first immutable thing is, God is truly God. 2. The second immutable thing is, that God cannot lie, for he is the Father of truth and Satan is the father of those that lie and Satan will never be God’s father. Glory be to God, amen! Now, understanding that; it should be much easier for you to understand why God was so distraught with the doubt of the ten Tribal Leaders and all the congregation that would not trust his word, but was quick to believe what they seen and heard and not what God had said. This is what our God has said: Mark 9:23 “…if thou canst believe, all (that means all) things are possible to him that believeth.” God has left the out- come of things in the hands of mankind, for it is up to, if thou canst. It is no longer up to if God can, for will you believe he can as he said? God must leave it up to mankind, because he loves us enough to allow us to have a free will to choose. What is your choice? I pray it is that you will choose to trust the Word of the God that has created all things. Things didn’t just happen and Satan couldn’t do it, and man surely doesn’t even know enough to do it, even thou sometimes he thinks he does. Mankind is yet to even understand the workings of their own mind. Do you want great faith? Great faith comes from fully understanding what can and cannot be and with Jesus Christ all things are possible. The cannot in life is: without faith, you cannot please God. You have a choice, choose life. One thing that will help you to have that great faith is to renew your thinking to accept the fact that God is truly All Mighty and there are no circumstances in life that he is incapable of showing you what to do, how to do and when to do it and if you honestly seek him as Abraham and others did you won’t always be making the wrong choices in life. Again, faith comes from hearing and hearing comes by the Word and true faith comes from accepting the understanding of just who All Mighty God truly is and His Word will not return void. Put it to use in your life and as you see it work your faith will surely grow great. There was a Centurion that Jesus, the Son of God marveled at his faith, but the Centurion knew something that many others did not know. That was, to be in authority one must first know how to be under authority. That helped him accept the authority of Jesus to do what he will. The ten spies felt that they, being the Tribal Rulers were over people and not under any and where was their faith. It’s a stark contrast, isn’t it? I would say, that surely proves the fact that, that kind of attitude produces very little faith even in one’s self, for they saw themselves as grasshoppers. What do you want your image before Jesus Christ to be? An image as bold as a lion or an image as a grasshoppers? I know I have said it before, but I will say it again: Jesus the Son of God Almighty being marveled at anything that a man could do just astounds me to no end. What is even more astonishing is the total trust that an unsaved man had in the Word of Jesus more than all those of Israel. No wonder his servant was healed! What is stopping your faith from being great? If I could stand before you I would say: “I open my ears around me and hear so many saying they would truly love to have faith like that, then I hear, but which is the beginning of doubt.” The truth is they must get out of their dream world and dig; I mean truly dig into the Word of God for understanding. Searching with all their heart, mind, and strength; tugging as never before to accept everything they read in God’s Word that was done of God the Father, Jesus Christ and the oly SpiritHh

Holy Spirit; not of man, but in and through every man and woman that was truly willing to serve God with all their heart, all their soul, and with all their strength not one thing being held back in accepting the Word of God and those men and women through action walked into God’s hall of faith. I find myself so distressed at how so many enslaved for 400 years, that could have seen all that brought their freedom without a battle, the Red Sea opening her womb and people pass through into a new life as though born again and the earth opening her mouth and swallowing up doubting and disobedient people and the list goes on and on without end and yet mankind questions the veracity of God’s Word. Every Word had been ratified with the corroborating acts; such as Moses in the authority of God stretched out his arm, spoke and the Sea opening, corroborated the truth that God’s Word will not return void. What will it take, how many things must you read, hear, see, and go thorough, before you truly trust God? Here’s something for mankind to think about. All the reasoning for all the plagues in Egypt could not be explained away. The Nile turning red with blood, hail that burned as fire and it goes on and on and there is not even one shred of reasoning that can explain it away. Pharaoh tried and what was his outcome? The ten spies tried to reason away why they could not trust God’s Word and what was their outcome and that list goes on. What is going to be your choice over your lifer? Are you going to choose to reason with something that cannot be reasoned with? Can you truly reason how God became God? When you can answer that question then and only then will you have no need to trust God.

#
p)))<>{color:#000;}. What if, Abraham would have said, God tell me where I am going before I start moving?

p)))<>{color:#000;}. What if, Sarah would have said, God that is just crazy, no one has a child at my age; impossible!

#
p)))<>{color:#000;}. What if, Abraham would have said, God Sarah will kill me after she has waited for a child for ninety nine years!

#
p)))<>{color:#000;}. What if, Abraham did not believe God would raise Isaac from the dead, if need be; would he have even raised the dagger?

#
p)))<>{color:#000;}. What if, Isaac would have fought back and said, you’re not putting me on that alter?

#
p)))<>{color:#000;}. What if, Isaac would have said, I sure hope God will bless Jacob and Esau, but I don’t know?

#
p)))<>{color:#000;}. What if, Joseph would have said when he was dying, I put it in God’s hands and I hope God will see that his children are freed from Egypt some day?

#
p)))<>{color:#000;}. What if, the parents of Moses, would have said, I hope God will keep our son safe from harm?

#
p)))<>{color:#000;}. What if, Moses looked around and said, God I can help our people better when I am Pharaoh?

#
p)))<>{color:#000;}. What if, People said, God, how will putting blood around the doors going to keep anything out and people safe?

#
p)))<>{color:#000;}. What if, Everyone, stopped to find out what thing was holding back the Red Sea before moving forward?

#
p)))<>{color:#000;}. What if, Everyone, stopped to find out what was going to make the walls of Jericho fall down before they would do what God told them through his servant?

#
p)))<>{color:#000;}. What if, Rahab would have wanted some proof that the spies were truly men of God first before helping? Show me your papers from God and then I’ll help.

Just how many what if’s can mankind come up with that will stop all that he hopes, drams, desires, and needs from coming to pass? What more shall I say on this matter? There are not enough words or enough time to express all the what if Gedeon, and what if Barak, and what if Samson, and what if Jepthae and what if David and what if Samuel and what if all the prophets would have had their eyes, hearts, and minds on all the things that the world places before them in the natural? Yes, what if? Just what are the what ifs, in your life that are holding back your blessings from God and your great faith from making Jesus marvel at you? Since Jesus will help the unbelief of a father, he shall surely help you, and if an unsaved Centurion can have faith so strong that it would make Jesus the Son of God marvel then surely a Christian (Christ like person) can; and should have such great faith even more wouldn’t you agree? I surely would. What’s stopping your faith? Satan is making sure that the eyes of those in the world are on those that have the title Christian. Every place you may be in life, what are you displaying before the world as an ambassador of God and our Lord Jesus? When was the last time you gave that any thought? When was the last time you truly opened your ears to your own word? Were the words that you spoke before others, words that let people know just how loving and Mighty your God is and just how capable he is to meet your every need or are they riddled with words of doubt, distrust, hopelessness, and despair until no one would ever want the God that you have? The ten spies out of the twelve displayed God in that very manner of incapability, didn’t they? God in his great love created mankind with a free will to choose and he left us with his Word full of examples to choose from, but the only choice mankind truly has in life is trusting what God and our Lord Jesus done and that his word is true or death in distrusting him and calling him a liar before all mankind. Every situation in life is only a chance to put our faith and trust in the Word of God to the test that our own minds might be renewed. What will you accept as truth? Rejoice that the choice is truly yours. My prayer is that this has opened the eyes of your spirit and given you the understanding in your mind that will encourage your strength, love, and trust in God’s words of wisdom and truth. Amen.

GOD'S WORDS OF WISDOM

Mankind is stressed out, because of all the feelings of worry, nervousness or unease over all the uncertainties in life and the older we become the greater the anxiety in a complex world. Is it any different from the time after the flood when Noah and his family were the only ones on earth. What do you imagine were the stresses and strains of life then and uncertainties of tomorrow. Ecclesiastes 1:9 "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done is that which shall b e done; and there is no new thing under the sun. That is what the book is going to do. We will be looking at that which was done and how it was done, that we may understand what to do and how to do it and not fail at it. As a boy, I was taught to be a people watcher, for as mankind learns by mistakes, we as people watcher can learn through their mistakes and not have to suffer the reactions of their actions. I am sure Noah and his family committed their ways unto the Lord. Psalm 37:5 It will take trusting the Lord and we will learn to do just that. Psalm 37:4 "Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalm 37:25 "I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. That was then and shall we learn from the past. God's words of wisdom will help you to learn to trust God and live without the anxieties of live as we live in the world, but are not part of the world.
