Peter O’Brien had it all a beautiful wife, mansion and a successful career and felt they had the perfect life that anyone would envy but that was all about to change because gradually over the years which was many they were slowly drifting apart. Both were workaholics and stopped going out to dinner after work because they were just too exhausted from work to make time for one another. They also stopped telling each other they loved one another even though deep down inside they still both did.

Eventually, intimacy in the bedroom was lacking and Peter’s loud snoring landed him into the guest bedroom where he would spend the rest of his lonely days in and cause their marriage to be on the rocks. Because of the lack of intimacy for them was gone resentment was growing between them which caused Peter’s wife to start opening the doors to other possibilities to fill the void she needed so desperately to feel whole again and have self-worth. On the other hand Peter just couldn’t and didn’t want to seek out another woman so he started eating excessively and drinking to drown out his sorrows but that just made matters worse and his wife’s bed was back in action again but not with her husband.

Peter’s wife was at the point of “I don’t care if he knows or not.” Neither one of them had the guts to get a divorce and go on their merry way so they both stayed in it because it would be too expensive for a divorce and the money they both made together had them both in a comfortable situation.

Many nights while Peter was lying in his cold bed with a bottle of whiskey on his night stand without his beautiful wife to keep him warm he would hear noises coming from the bedroom they once shared together as a married couple was instead being occupied by her lovers that she brought in night after night. Peter would just swig down his bottle of whiskey and with both hands push both sides of his pillow to drown out the noises and drift off into a deep sleep.

After a while Peter just couldn’t take it anymore so he confronted his wife and she just belittled him which drove him to kill her with his bare hands by strangulation. Peter knew that if anyone found out he killed his wife he would get the electric chair and so he decided to take her dead body to the bath tub and dismember her and place her body parts in trash bags and dispose of her remains deep in the woods.

When Peter entered the woods he dug a shallow hole and threw the trash bag containing his wife’s remains and set the bag on fire then filled up the hole with dirt and said a few words and spit on her grave then got in his car and headed home to his empty home where he could finally get a good night sleep and not worry about her bringing home strange men anymore into their home to fulfill her sexual needs.

Peter thought his troubles were behind him now but they were far from gone because not everything that stays buried stays buried.

As Peter was sitting on the couch and celebrating his new beginning with a bottle of wine not far from his front door something was going to spoil his celebration. As Peter took the last sip of wine there was a loud knock on his door. Peter was pretty drunk from the wine and just thought his mind was playing tricks on him so he ignored it. Then the knocking got so loud his ears started to ring and Peter said “Go away! I’m celebrating my new life with my wife, I mean my wine,” laughed Peter in a drunken state of mind.

Then all of a sudden the front door swung open and Peter turned around and batted his eyes a few times trying to focus them so he could get a clear look at who the intruder was and Peter said aloud “Oh shit!” Peter grabbed the empty bottle of wine and looked at it and said “What the hell! Am I dreaming or what!”

The intruder was his dead wife but definitely not in her beautiful form she once had but a dead charred body not in any celebrating mood just there to seek revenge of her death. Peter threw the wine bottle at his dead wife’s body as she was walking towards him laughing in an eerie voice. Peter clinched his chest as his heart was pounding so hard it could explode at any moment. Peter just froze in fear and couldn’t move any limb on his body even though he wished right now he could. His dead wife said “Peter darling, I think we can still work something out don’t you?”

That moment the fear of seeing his dead wife with her cold dead hands gripping tightly around his neck gave him a heart attack causing sudden death. His wife got her revenge from the grave but wasn’t finished just yet because she wanted to dismember his body just she had done to her. She dragged his dead body to the bath tub and dismembered his body and his body parts in a trash bag and dragged the trash bag with her husband’s remains back to the woods and dig a shallow hole next to hers and set it on fire then bury the remains where they both will remain until something digs them up but digging these two dead ones up may not be such a good idea and could get you dead as well for doing so.
