Notes from the Artist:

Hello! As you can probably tell, I’m not aiming for perfection in my work. I’ve tried that for a few years and it doesn’t work for me. I’m still working on developing my own style as an artist, and I’ve come to like it a lot. Drawing is something that I’m slowly rediscovering—I’m more of a short story writer than anything.

My influences come from Japanese animation and comic books. I am terrible at drawing everything below the neck, and drawing things in proportion is still difficult, but I’m working on correcting those things. I get more pleasure out of drawing faces, especially eyes. I hope I can inspire you to draw—even a little bit. Let’s do our best together!

Love,

Tiffany

10 Best Lists:

I’ve created some BEST LISTS for things about writing that have impacted me or my work for the past 6 years. Thanks so much for your support! Here we go.

****

LESSONS OR SHOCKS:

Learning that my writing was awful at the beginning.

Learning to take negative and positive reviews with a grain of salt

Being resilient! (See the 2nd lesson)

Some people actually paid for my art…and words…I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart.

Always edit your stuff to the best of your ability, and then ALWAYS LET OTHER EYES LOOK AT IT!

Even if you believe your work is crappy, even one person out there will think it is the best thing ever

Taste is subjective.

It’s not you they don’t like; it’s your art they can’t understand.

WRITING & DRAWING BEST:

Favorite character to draw/write about so far: Bunny Lilka from Soldier Evolution Revolutionary Girl

Things I worry about in Writing: I generalize things a lot instead of being more specific, and I have a tendency to describe unnecessary things, like clothes my characters are wearing. Gotta get to the bare miniumum and move on with the story.

Inspirations for writing & drawing: Takeuchi Naoko, Tanemura Arina, & Ann M. Martin

Thing I want to do right now: Read a book & eat tons of food

THINGS I NEED FOR WORK:

Music (Instrumentals)

Food

Colored Pencils

Manga Studio 5 EX

Adobe Photoshop

Every Purikura-style app for the IOS!

Her work stays honestly kawaii (cute) and honest!
