Thank you for purchasing the angel inspiration cards.
I have created these cards to help deal with emotions, by helping to access the current emotional state, and to predict a logical outcome. In effect, they are a visual help guide containing positive emotions. They are also based upon colour therapy, which is a subject I studied when I qualified as an Aura Soma Practitioner. I had a wonderful time being tutored by William Law who has since retired and now lives in Spain.
For those unfamiliar with Aura Soma, it is a form of vibrational healing which uses colour to promote harmony between the mind, body, and spirit, and to balance the colour vibrations that exist within them.
It is surprising how significant a role colours play in our lives, and just as we need a balanced diet to promote a healthy body, we also need natural sunlight to nourish us energetically.
Pure white sunlight not only contains all of the colours of the rainbow, but also contains all the elements necessary to keep most living things on this planet healthy, and when there is too much of one colour energy in our system, it literally makes us feel off colour – it is all a question of balance!
Every colour has its own level of vibration, which can create an experience of either warmth or coolness. How many times have we entered a blue room and felt cold, or a red room and felt hot!
Colours effect our emotions and senses too. Some colours make us feel calm and relaxed such as coral or lavender, whilst other colours such as yellow make us feel happy, whereas some more vibrant colours can cause us to have a headache!
Colour is light broken down into various wave lengths and different vibrational frequencies. All of our organs vibrate at slightly different frequencies, and absorbing certain colours can help tune these vibrations via our chakras.
Colour also creates a response from our senses, and eating certain coloured foods or wearing certain coloured clothes can create certain moods. Colour therefore has a profound effect on our lives, and affects our moods and emotions. We find some colours depressing, whilst others uplifting, hence expressions such as grey day.
The way we deal with stress and our feelings are directly affected by our hormones, which in turn are affected by our brain chemistry. Coloured light travels to the pituitary gland of the endocrine system, affecting our entire metabolism. Our mental state is also directly related to the quality of the light we receive through our eyes. Where there is a lack of natural sunlight it can cause depression, mood swings and lethargy. This is referred to as Seasonal Affective Disorder, which affects many people during the winter months.
They do say that you are the colours you choose and everyone is attracted to a certain colour for a certain reason, and even the way we dress reflects our current mood. This is naturally picked up by the people we meet who react in a certain way to them, hence the expression showing your true colours.
There are three primary colours, blue, yellow and red. When these are mixed together they produce secondary colours. Blue and yellow produce green, blue and red produce purple, and red and yellow produce orange. When primary and secondary colours are mixed they produce tertiary colours. There are six tertiary colours, red-orange, red-violet, yellow-green, yellow-orange, blue-green and blue-violet, and it depends on the combination of the colours as to the new colours produced.
Colour is often overlooked, and yet it occurs naturally all around us. Flowers have brightly coloured petals to attract bees, which are vital in the pollination process. Bees also pollinate many vegetables and fruits we eat, and without them there would be far less variety for us to eat, and without our five a day, our health would suffer. If you are a vegetarian like myself, then you would starve!
When designing my angel cards, I decided to include colour therapy within them, to add depth to the reading. Here is a list of the colours which appear in the cards, and their meanings to aid with their interpretation.
Red – Energy, Sacrificial Love
Orange – Healing, Insight
Yellow – Dispeller of Fear, Happiness
Green – Healing, Heart
Pink – Unconditional Love, Compassion
Turquoise – Communication, Spiritual Healing
Blue – Peace, Protection
Light Blue – Restfulness, Calm
Lavender -Tranquillity, Inner Peace
Violet – Spiritual Connection, Illumination
Silver (White) – Clarity, Abundance
Gold – Joy, Wisdom
Magenta – Re-scue – Change, Deep Healing
Jade Green – Harmony, Spiritual Wisdom
Indigo – Third Eye, Instinct
Coral – Sense of Community, Restful Co-existence
Olive Green – Feminine Leadership, Spiritual Awakening
It is also important to remember that the lighter the colour – the higher the vibration, and the stronger the spiritual connection.
The cards are used by combining the key word written at the bottom with the colour meaning, together with what you see and feel within the picture to gain a reading. Any spread can be used, and in essence the cards are a guiding hand, helping you to think positively about the future. Whatever question is asked, and how negative the present situation may appear, somewhere there will be a positive outcome.
Card readings are deeply personal experiences, and every one is individual. I felt that by providing a complete meaning for each card, it would result in exactly the same reading for everyone. What I have tried to do is to offer a guiding hand, which it is hoped will help people to think positively about the future.
All you have to do is to give the cards a shuffle and pick them out at random. Your spirit/soul will guide you, so have trust in yourself and follow your inner guidance.
They may well summarise your current state of being, and you may find a theme developing, where all the cards are linked in some way. They may also lead you in a completely new direction that you had never considered before. You may also see a colour wave developing, where there is a predominant colour suggesting a connection to a given emotion. Whatever the outcome, it will be positive.

Let the angels guide you on your life’s path, filling each and every day with love…
I see the real beauty in life…
Life, although sometimes mundane is never quite predictable, as nothing is permanent. Everything changes in time, and these changes may be slow to arise, or appear rapidly in our lives.
Some people do the same job at the same place for the majority of their working lives, whilst others flit from one job to another. Relationships and family can also follow similar patterns, with the usual ups and downs associated with them. Part of the real beauty of life is that it is so unpredictable, and many things can impact upon us to transform our lives.
We need to develop the habit of looking at whatever happens to us with a more positive outlook, and learn to embrace whatever it may be. In accepting these changes, we can learn to convert momentary happiness into enduring happiness.
This will help us to move from feeling happy to actually being happy.
If we start cultivating acceptance in our lives, we become able to cope with future crises, and view them from a different perspective – acceptance rather than resistance.
Accept things as they are, and enable your life to flow more smoothly.
I rise up…
Ascension is the path we consciously choose to expand and experience things that are entirely new to us, and in doing this, we alter our perception of the world around us.
If you are feeling run down or unwell, then it is necessary to bring your body into greater balance to allow healing to flow, by clearing out old energy patterns, and taking greater care of yourself.
It is not merely a mental and physical process, as on a spiritual level, it is the act of choosing to evolve into a higher level of consciousness.
In order to do this, we have to merge with our higher self, which is achieved by opening up the heart chakra, and filling it with Divine Light.
I am concerned for the welfare of others…
Altruism or selflessness is a traditional virtue in many cultures around the world, and the prime example of this is the parable of the Good Samaritan.
Some wealthy people become philanthropists and make generous donations to worthy causes, whilst others dedicate their lives to animal welfare or the environment.
It is all about making the difference, and benefiting others by your actions, and in doing this, you are benefiting yourself.
Acting with an unselfish regard for others does not always come naturally, even though we can show empathy. In opening up your heart, you are showing the love of pure consciousness itself.
When we do make the effort to give unconditionally, we feel fulfilled and energized, and as the saying goes it is better to give than receive.
I am searching for something more to life…
If you are experiencing a spiritual awakening, you might be searching for the meaning of life, and whether there is a higher state of being.
Spiritual awakening marks the beginning of your journey on the spiritual path, and without it, you can go through life pursuing the emptiness of fame, power, and fortune.
It is by seeing through the illusions of this world that you realize nothing external can bring true happiness or fulfilment. This profound realization leaves you craving for something richer, more fulfilling, and something that will make you feel whole.
I have good intentions toward all living beings…
Benevolence is having good intentions toward all living beings, and developing a good, kind and loving nature, something that we all aspire to.
This goodwill offers warmth, friendship, and compassion, to all those we meet on our life’s journey, and is one of the greater aspects of love.
From a child, we are praised for sharing our toys, and widely respected as an adult for our humanity. Power and wealth are things that some crave, and yet when we pass, the material things in life are meaningless. There can be no greater epitaph than for those who have known us to say what a good person we were.
Whilst we are still here, kindly acts and thoughts nourish our whole being, stimulating our immune system enabling our body to repair and refuel itself, and spread feelings of peace, happiness and loving calm.
Benevolence toward others reduces quarrels, builds trust, and affects the way that we are treated in return.
A state of natural happiness…
Happiness is a pleasant sensation experienced through the five senses, whereas blissfulness is a spiritual experience of the soul. It is often described as being the state of Nirvana, which is an ancient Sanskrit term used to describe the profound peace of mind that is acquired with thought, and is the state of being free from suffering. The word literally means blown out – as in a candle, and refers in the Buddhist context, to the calm stillness of mind after the fires of desire, aversion, and delusion have been finally extinguished.
This state of wellbeing can be achieved via meditation, and the inner joy of letting go of all problems and just being at one with the universe.
I am at ease…
We all strive to feel comfortable and at ease within our environment, and at times of distress we gladly accept the comfort given by others. It strengthens the resolve to overcome what we have had to face, and consoles and cheers us up when we face adversity. It can also bring relief from pain or distress, and gives us hope for the future.
Comfort, in a spiritual sense, is knowing that there is someone or something that we can turn to for help, to enable us to attain a more peaceful state of being.
I transmit and receive knowledge…
Normally in our lives, we communicate all of the time exchanging information by speaking, writing, or using some other medium. We use our five main senses to receive information, sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch.
But, what about the other forms of information?
We use our sixth sense to receive information from the spiritual world, and mediums or seers have a developed extra sensory perception.
Clairvoyance is when they receive information via images, clairaudience via sound, and clairsentience by sensing their presence.
These are all external forms of communication, but there is another whom we share our experiences with, and that is our Higher self.
We are attached by means of a silver cord, and this silver cord can sometimes be seen by those who have a strong psychic ability. Everything we experience is recorded in our subconscious mind, and then transmitted to our higher self via the silver cord. Luckily, it is possible to making contact with your higher self, as it is part of your subconscious mind, and indeed your greater self!
This is the voice inside which guides and protects you, the one which gives you insight, and the one which aids your spiritual development.
I can conquer my fears…
At some point in our lives we have to face an ordeal of some kind which strikes fear into our very hearts. It may be just a phobia, or a serious illness that may affect our own life, or the life of a loved one.
Courage is something that we all wish to have when facing our fears and every culture is rich in ancient myths of those who have achieved something quite remarkable through the act of self-sacrifice for the greater good.
Fear can be described as False Evidence Appearing Real.
There is really only one true emotion and that is love. Everything is an expression of love in its highest form. When love is freely expressed, given and received unconditionally, it brings joy and happiness, spreading kindness, compassion and affection.
We find our courage through love and self worth. If we have self-confidence then we can face our fears, or if we love someone then we can find the inner strength through that love to stand with those who are facing adversity.
My life’s path…
Our destiny is something that we cannot escape as it is our future, but fate is quite something else entirely. We all have free choice as to whether we do something or not, but whatever we do or do not do, try as we might, we cannot escape what is destined to happen to us!
The idiom it is written in the stars, is quite apt, as on a soul level we choose our lives before we incarnate on this realm. We make the decision to experience certain things to learn from our experiences to gain a greater understanding of the all that is. Sometimes, our choices do not seem that well informed, and yet we are all here to learn, and then return to spirit before progressing.
Our destiny is the life we have chosen and whatever we are destined to do, we will do…
We are as one…
Divine unity is all about harmony and being as one. This oneness is the combination of the mind, body and spirit unified on a soul level, and is the unity between the soul and spirit.
The soul is seeking the divine and the divine is seeking the soul!
A soul mate is someone who we share the ultimate bond, and that bond is part of the never-ending cycle of creation. We start our lives as individuals, seeking that special bond with the one we wish to share a relationship with, as both the lover and the beloved reaching unity with the divine.
Divine unity is that bond between both souls and spirit.
I always look on the bright side of life…
If something is effervescent, then it is said to have bubbles or froth, like a sparkling wine or a bubble bath. If you have a happy, light, and cheerful disposition, then you are considered as having a bubbly personality!
At times in our lives we can become lively, enthusiastic and excited, by a special event, a present or the prospect of visiting somewhere that we have always wished to go to.
However, just like a sparkling wine, the bubbles eventually fade, and it is up to us to keep that positivity going. Effervescence keeps a person always active, and nothing seems to depresses or disappointment them for long. They are never dull, and always look on the bright side of life, doing their best to remain cheerful, or to cheer up their fellow man.
I am strong…
Empowerment is the process of becoming stronger and more confident, especially in controlling your life.
At times, we all feel powerless and are driven by events, some of which go against our wishes or best intentions. Empowerment or self-empowerment, is all about taking back control, and clearing away lower energies. They are often like lead weights dragging us down, and once they have been cleared away, we can rise up to fulfil the best ideals of who we wish to be.
Metatron is the angel of esoteric knowledge and self-healing, who teaches us the concept of wisdom, spiritual awareness and understanding. Wisdom comes through experience, where we are able to learn from our mistakes and progress on our spiritual journey.
I express my love and affection…
Endearment is an expression of love or affection, and there are many terms of endearment used to describe a person, animal or inanimate object with which we feel a close bond.
When someone else’s feelings increasingly occupy our thoughts, it may seem a little awkward or too formal to use their correct title, or relationship to you. A term of endearment shows affection, and a gentle feeling of fondness.
The need for affection arises because it makes us feel secure and wanted, and creates a sense of harmony in a relationship.
The giving and receiving of affection opens up the heart to allow love to flow, and endearment is an expression of that love.
I am relaxed…
Euphony brings the soothing effects of sound to the ears, helping us to relax. It may be music, or even a gentle voice, which we find harmonious.
Once we are relaxed, we are able to bring the different facets of our nature into balance and equilibrium. In addition to harmonizing with each other, the mind, body and soul must be in harmony within themselves too, if we are to truly relax. If we are not in harmony, then it is difficult to balance the body with the mind and soul. When we are out of balance, it leads to negative emotions and dis-ease or disease.
Euphony is the beginning of the process of relaxation, and indeed meditation. When we achieve this state, we are in balance and healing flows.
The path to beauty…
Exuberance is the quality of being full of energy, excitement, and cheerfulness.
This elation can stem from a sense of achievement, be it academic, good fortune, or just the completion of a task, and literally fills your heart with joy.
The path of beauty involves taking delight in your responses to everything and everybody, and involves creativity, transforming and beautifying your response. In this sense, exuberance is beauty.
The delight that flows pours forth in constant creative activity that transforms ourselves and transforms the world into something beautiful.
The path of beauty is the path of energy, and the creation of exuberance.
I am faithful…
Fidelity is faithfulness to a person, cause, or belief system. It is upholding the values or commitments we may have made, and honouring that which we cherish.
There is no point committing to something if you do not intend to go through with it!
There are many choices to be made in life, some are due to circumstances beyond our control, whereas others are made by our own free will. When we make a free choice, it has to come through the heart. There is no point lying to yourself, and as Shakespeare quite eloquently put it unto thine own self be true.
Fidelity is all about faith, and is as much about having complete trust or confidence in someone or something, as it is in having that faith in yourself.
I am here for you…
There is a chance that you may have seen a fire rainbow in the sky, although it is neither a rainbow, nor made of fire. It resembles a flame fragmenting the clouds in a blaze of colour.
A rainbow like cloud floating in the sky is a truly stunning phenomenon, as the colours fan out, and represents the Rainbow Bridge, which connects heaven and earth.
Whenever anyone passes, they travel across the rainbow bridge seeing a fire rainbow if you have lost someone close to you, is a sign that they are watching over you.
Sometimes, you might catch the sight of them out of the corner of your eye, or feel their presence. On other occasions, a significant tune may suddenly appear on the radio or from a passing vehicle. There may appear to you in dreams, or there may be strange electrical occurrences, you might smell their scent, or animals may show up unexpectedly, or objects appear to have been moved.
These are all signs that your loved one is there for you.
I choose for myself…
We may not be able to change our destiny, as we cannot escape what is destined to happen to us. We can however change our fate, as we have a free choice as to whether or not we do something.
Free will is the ability to choose, think, and act for ourselves.
There are always many different possibilities to choose from, and whatever we decide, we have to take responsibility for whichever we take.
They may result in praise, guilt, or other judgments which apply to our actions. Sometimes they may be taken after seeking advice, or being persuaded by another. We may deliberate for quite some time, but in the end, it is up to us to take the final decision.
We must trust our instincts, and whatever we chose to do, we have to live by our actions.
I am whole…
Fulfilment is a feeling of satisfaction that you get from achieving one of your goals in life.
Spiritual fulfilment however, is the feeling of completeness where you receive a wealth of riches and accomplishments beyond the material world.
It is about making the choice to live as your true self, an inner experience in which you feel complete, living in the truth of your being so you can be joyful, kind and happy, living in Spirit’s loving embrace.
The mother of life…
Gaia is the name of the ancient Greek goddess of the earth, and the concept that the whole biosphere is alive, and that all life forms are themselves responsible for regulating the conditions on the planet.
To celebrate Gaia is to receive spiritual nourishment and heighten awareness of the connection with the earth and to fill your being with love and compassion for all creatures, and for the physical environment as a whole. It is the sense of a living earth and nature as a whole, woven into the fabric of life.
The spirit of Gaia runs through us all, and in celebrating and joining with her loving energies, it enriches our mind body and spirit.
Good fortune is an auspicious state resulting from favourable outcomes, or just plain good luck!
It can bring us great happiness, as it can change our lives, although it owes everything to chance.
However, it is not from good fortune that we become wise or just, and happiness stems from kindly acts, which alter your overall circumstances or condition in life.
You may feel that you deserved a better fate, and that good fortune may bring you happiness by altering the conditions of your life to bring prosperity.
If you are unhappy, it is because you are not living in harmony with nature. If you are not living harmoniously, it is because you have not learnt to accept the world as it is, with all its faults and possibilities of suffering. You can only attain happiness by realising the causes of unhappiness and avoiding those causes.
Good fortune may happen to you to improve your life, but you do not have to rely upon it to bring you happiness.
I am thankful…
Gratitude is the quality of being thankful, and the readiness to show appreciation for all that you have, or a kindly gesture.
Experiencing gratitude is one of the most effective ways of getting in touch with your soul. When you’re in touch with your soul, you eavesdrop on the thoughts of the universe. You feel connected to everything in creation. You embrace the wisdom of uncertainty and you sense yourself as a field of infinite possibilities.
Gratitude is a fullness of heart that moves you from limitation and fear to expansion and love. When you’re appreciating something, your ego moves out of the way. You can’t have your attention on ego and gratitude at the same time.
Just for a few moments, consider the things you have in your life that you could be grateful for: all the nurturing relationships, the material comforts, your body, and the mind that allows you to really understand yourself and everything around you. Just breathe and be grateful for the air that is filling your lungs and making your life possible. Simply feel your body and your aliveness, and acknowledge what a miracle it is just to be alive right now. Allow your awareness to appreciate what you are seeing, smelling, and touching just at this moment and you will find yourself in the middle of the stream of life without trying at all.
Feel the love, compassion, and understanding that gratitude brings into your heart. Notice how gratitude brings your attention into the present time, which is the moment in which miracles can unfold. The deeper your appreciation, the more you see with the eyes of the soul and the more your life flows in harmony with the creative power of the universe.
I am modest…
Humility is the quality of having a modest or low view of your own self-importance, and having an honest perspective based on the understanding that you are not more or less important than anyone else.
Humble people have the right frame of mind, for if you have a negative self-image, then you are not respecting your gifts and talents. Likewise, if you over emphasize them, then you become arrogant.
By showing humility you are showing gratitude for all that you have.
It is often necessary to make changes in order to learn from our mistakes, failures, or losses. They stand in stark contrast to pride, and by allowing adversity to be your ally, you can get the very best of yourself, with a spirit to learn for the better.
I am calm inside…
Inner peace or peace of mind refers to a deliberate state of psychological or spiritual calm despite the potential presence of stress.
Everyone can find inner peace, and it can be attained through acceptance. To some, it may take quite a while to accept whatever it was that caused the stress, and to resolve personal inner conflicts within their life.
It is important to understand the nature of the stress,
Emotions fluctuate, and we seldom have much control over them. When we release ourselves from conflict within our lives, and do not react to other people’s words and anger, we begin to feel serenity in our hearts.
We are our thoughts, and by accepting them, we give them permission to shape our beliefs about ourselves and our lives.
Once you start recognizing that, you can start to see how your thoughts differ from the way you really feel, and you can choose to place a different thought in your mind.
The real key to finding inner peace is to recognise your ego’s voice, reject it knowing that it is just a fear based judgement, and replace the emotional response with one of calm.
I visualise a positive future…
Few people possess the ability to control what enters their minds. They let their minds and imagination run free, and let any stray thoughts or mental images appear, which leads to a lack of control of their lives.
Once you let your imagination run riot, your life will soon become a mess. Control it, intentionally decide only what you wish to visualise, and you will be able to change your life according to your wishes.
Inner Vision is the ability to see in your mind mental images of something that exists, and the ability to imagine objects, situations or circumstances that do not exist now.
It is possible to visualize using all the five main senses, and you can visualise sound, taste, smell, touch or sight.
When you worry or feel fear, you automatically visualise unhappy or unfortunate situations. If you keep visualising these negative mental images, you will eventually attract them into your life.
If you see in your inner vision how you want your life to be, and continue watching these mental images with faith, concentration and love, one day your life will look exactly as you imagined.
I am generous of spirit…
Kindness is the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate, and it takes genuine effort to be truly kind. It is far easier to be selfish, whereas it takes more effort to be concerned for the welfare of others.
Some people regard kindness as being weak, but it takes great strength to get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, and be kind, compassionate and forgiving.
Kindness often involves acts of self-sacrifice and generosity, but that does not mean neglecting yourself. It is not just about your deeds, as words of comfort, courtesy, and compliment are just as important. Being aware of the sensitivity of others, helps to heal those with emotional wounds.
Genuine kindness is lending a helping hand when you expect nothing in return, although many people carry negative emotions, and are suspicious of kindly acts, assuming that there must be an ulterior motive. But, it is these people who need kindness the most. Repeated acts of kindness can lead to genuine friendship, bringing about healing love, joy, and peace.
Learning is the acquisition of knowledge and skills through study, experience, or being taught, which also includes spiritual growth.
Spiritual growth is the process of inner awakening, and becoming conscious of our inner being, and going beyond the mind and the ego.
It is the basis for a better and more harmonious life, and the freeing of tension, fear, and anxiety. It helps us learn not to let circumstances influence our inner being and state of mind, and developing inner strength.
It is all about balance, and becoming a stronger, happier and more contented person, addressing your own bad habits, wrong beliefs, and character flaws, and the wisdom to accept the things we cannot change, and having the courage to change the things that we can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Spiritual growth can be measured by the ability to see the best in yourself and others.
I am at peace…
To most people liberation is setting someone free from imprisonment or oppression, but there is also spiritual liberation, and another term for that is enlightenment!
This is where the proverbial penny drops, and you begin to gain much deeper awareness about the nature of existence, and what obstacles have been standing in your way.
It is about purifying the mind and body, and overcoming the negative emotions that have been holding you back to becoming one with everything.
A major part of this is forgiveness, forgiving yourself and those who have wronged you. When you are able to do this, then you are set free, become liberated and attain a state of peace.
I am faithful…
Loyalty is a strong feeling of support or allegiance, which incorporates faithfulness, and is not just about others as mush as it is about yourself.
It is being faithful to your own ideals and principles, particularly at times of stress, or when you are placed under duress. Loyalty to the self is like faith, sticking to what you believe in!
It is not about giving in, but more about standing firm, unwavering in the way you act and treat your fellow man, and retaining your personal integrity.
If you can forgive yourself and others, and show them mercy and respect, you can be honest, and have the moral fibre to stick to your principles.
It is the quality of being whole and complete.
I awaken my inner self…
Meditation is the technique designed to promote relaxation, and a sense of well-being and inner contentment. It helps to promote peace and harmony within the mind and body, bringing forth the emotions of love, compassion, patience, generosity and forgiveness.
It is a way of connecting with the higher self, and promotes healing from within. We can also connect with our spirit guides or the angels, and ask for their help in doing this.
When we meditate, it increases self-awareness and reduces stress, improves concentration, and boosts the immune system, and generally encourages ourselves to lead a more healthy lifestyle. We also become happier and more contented, as we learn to let go of negative emotions, as we can change who we are on the inside, which leads to changes in the way we are treated on the outside.
Mercy is a compassionate act of responding to the emotional and spiritual needs of others with love and understanding. It is a way of being kind and gentle, and alleviating suffering by embracing humility, and being aware of others’ weaknesses and failures.
Mercy comes from the heart and is all about forgiveness.
That is probably the hardest thing to do, as when we are hurt by the actions of another, it brings forth negative emotions and the realisation of how we are perceived. In forgiving, we are releasing these negative emotions, and when we do this, it helps us to heal from within. It also has the power to transform others, as we are sending them unconditional love.
I am inspired…
Motivation is what gets us out of bed in the morning, it is the impetus to do something.
It is the reason for people’s actions, desires, and needs, and their direction in life. It also dictates their behaviour, and what causes them to do something.
Spiritual motivation, on the other hand, is a willingness to do something different, and change our lifestyle. It is part of a transitional process, whereby we evolve and are inspired to do something about the way we are.
This inspiration breeds creativity, and releases our talent as we have the insight into a completely new set of possibilities. Once we are inspired, there are no limits to our achievements, and if we improve ourselves on the outside, then we can make great strides forward within our lives.
I am life…
Nature, in the broadest sense of the word is all about the natural, physical world. Human nature on the other hand, refers to the distinguishing characteristics of thinking, feeling, and acting.
We have five layers of experiencing both types of nature, and they are the environment in which we live, our physical bodies, our minds, our intuition, and our individuality.
Our environment is one of the most important, as if is wholesome, then it has a positive impact on the other layers which then come into balance, and we experience a greater sense of peace and connection with it, and what is around us.
Our diet also influences our mind, together with light to moderate exercise, but above all, we need to be able to experience our world with an open mind that is free from stress.
Our consciousness must rise above the negative emotions if we are to change our nature, and we need to search within ourselves to release them, to create a spirit of care and commitment for not only ourselves, but for the environment in which we live.
I take care…
Nurturing is all about caring and protecting something whilst it is growing, and helping it to develop. Usually we think about a child or young animal, a plant or indeed a project. Probably the greatest project that we have is to nurture our spirit.
To do this we have to surrender, although it is not defeat or weakness, it is a letting go of negative beliefs, and trusting that everything will unfold the way it is meant to. You do not have to struggle or force the issue, that is just your ego, which believes you are an isolated individual trying to survive in a hostile world.
We are spiritual beings, and when we surrender, we release the obstacles the ego has created.
It may take many small steps to replace the automatic negative reactions with deepening awareness, and the whole process has to be nurtured just like the development of a child.
Throughout the ages there have been many Prophets and Seers, who have made predictions about the future, and some have proved more accurate than others. However, the main question is:
Can you see into the future?
The answer is that the future has already happened, it is just that we have not experienced it yet!
Past, present and future all exist at the same time, it is just that we are only aware of one part of this timeline. When you astral travel, you are able to go beyond what we normally experience and glimpse the future. We are all capable of doing this and we have all experienced Déjà vu, which literally means already seen.
Visionaries can see the most likely outcome, although we all have free choice, and every decision can alter future events.
The main component of prophesy is that if you believe strongly enough that something will happen, then it will come to fruition.
I am there for you…
We all need protecting from harm at some time or another, be it mental, physical or emotional abuse that we are suffering.
This helps us to reach our full potential by releasing any fear and negative energies that may be placed in our path. If you are feeling afraid, concerned or just unsettled, then there is nothing better than the reassurance that there is someone there for you.
When we feel safe, it brings us courage to face whatever it is that is challenging us, and helps to cleanse those negative energies and cut unnecessary or unwanted ties, or links with people and situation that no longer serve us.
Protection is all about keeping us from harm, and the angel most associated with this is Archangel Michael.
I am clean…
Purity has many meanings, particularly freedom from contaminants.
Everything today seems to have additives or preservatives, and chemicals that are causing harm to both us, and the environment in which we live, and it is a constant battle to avoid them as they endanger our health.
On a spiritual level, purity refers to moral cleanliness.
Cleansing the mind by shedding negative thoughts and perceptions can take a weight off your whole being, bringing peace and happiness.
Cleansing the soul can bring healing strength and serenity.
Pure water is a natural cleanser, and both internally and externally, it can wash away impurities. We consist mainly of water, and the planet is 70 percent water, life is created from water, and life can be healed by water.
Water is the natural way of helping you to cleanse your mind, body and spirit.
I am fulfilled…
Radiance is the quality of brightness and happiness that can be seen on a person’s face, it is also a warm, soft light that shines from something.
Soul radiance is that light and warmth flowing out from within, and is achieved when you reach your goals in life and attain fulfilment.
When you discover your life’s purpose, find emotional and physical healing, and release your fears, and create meaningful and loving relationships, it results in a deep sense of inner peace and harmony.
Radiance is that magical, love-filled, and deeply satisfying feeling which emanates from the heart.
I love you…
This is the feeling of excitement and mystery associated with love.
True romance is doing something special or unexpected for someone you love, and showing them that you care, and are thinking about them.
It should not feel forced, or be expected, but genuinely come through the heart, and is something simple and sweet that reminds your loved one why they fell in love with you in the first place.
On a spiritual level, it is an awakening and a shift in consciousness.
When we start to wake up, we naturally develop a strong desire to know ourselves in a deep, intimate way. That is what consciousness is, a desire to know the self.
Alongside this desire to know ourselves, we also desire to create a deep, intimate relationship with someone else, so that we can feel and experience a deep, spiritual union.
A chance encounter…
Most things in life seem way beyond our control, and yet sometimes there are chance encounters that change them completely
We all wish for good things to come our way and for happiness, often at times when we are feeling vulnerable or emotional, worrying about the future.
Relaxing and thinking more deeply often brings about positive change, and serendipity is more likely.
We have to be in the right place and frame of mind for these unexpected events to take place, and be open to receive whatever surprises lie in store for us. If we stop speaking to other people and being involved with them, or close our hearts to our own positive changes, then we make this far more unlikely.
Serendipity is good fortune found unexpectedly and a positive change for the better.
I am at peace…
Serenity is the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled. It is a place free from mental stress or anxiety, and somewhere we would all like to go.
So, how do we get there?
The answer is to avoid anything that you may find unsettling, and try to relax and not get irritated by minor things. You have to accept others as they are, and try to be kind to them, and yourself.
Be careful what you ingest, and attempt to eat healthy wholesome foods, and make sure you get plenty of sleep. Try to avoid reading or watching anything that is disturbing and might cause you nightmares, and always attempt to keep your home clean and uncluttered.
Spending part of the day without noise will help to spread calm, and mixing with like-minded people will also be beneficial to you.
Above all, be thankful for all you have, as there might be people with more of everything, but there are also those with considerably less.
Serenity stems from a lifestyle choice, which enables you to find peace.
I am the light of the world…
The Solar Logos represents the heart of our solar system, and is symbolised by the sun, which is the source of life and light.
It is the life force energy, which runs through every living being on this planet, and to some extent, it is consciousness itself.
The word Logos in Greek meaning speech, and in a way it speaks to us all. It is the ultimate expansion of the thought process, and the foundation of all that we build in our lives.
The Solar logos can be considered as the divine spiritual entity behind the sun.
I have fulfilment…
Success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose, and is unique and personal to each of us.
However, how do we define success?
Society as a whole would determine it on material things, such as status, wealth or possessions. On a more personal level, it is that inner feeling that we have attained our goals, and have the inner feeling of well-being.
In a spiritual sense, it is how much of you that you have really found.
Most people have a yearning to do things that bring them joy, and fulfil a deeper purpose within their lives, which enables them to find inner peace. It is the degree to which we embrace our spiritual path, and are able to trust in the guidance of our soul.
Success is a sense of deep spiritual fulfilment.
I am compassionate…
Tenderness can be described as gentleness and kindness, although it can also refer to pain or discomfort.
Both emotional and spiritual pain happens when we lose a sense of meaning or purpose in our life, and have not met our emotional or spiritual needs.
The emotional always manifests in the physical, and when we achieve fulfilment within our lives, we release this pain.
If we are kind and compassionate with ourselves as well as others then we show tenderness, which is both healing to the self, and those around us.
In this way we can a promote a positive change.
I am here to shift perspectives…
This is the action of transferring something or the process of redirecting or substituting it.
On an emotional level, we can transmute negative emotions into positive ones, alleviating stress and anxiety.
Most problems seem to arise from our childhood, when we are learning quickly. Sometimes our lessons are hard, and we become scarred in the process.
So how do we heal these scars?
Pain and suffering are inevitable in life, and depend upon the things that happen to us, and our perspective. If we view ourselves as victims, and place too much attention on what others are thinking, saying and doing, then we will suffer emotionally.
Loving kindness, and wishing others well and showing compassion are great healers, as the person who has wronged you may not know they are doing it, why they are doing it, or understand why their actions are causing you hurt.
If we forgive them, then we can transfer the negative emotions that we are feeling by freeing ourselves of the very things that caused emotional pain and discomfort in the first place.
I am open to positive change…
This is the complete change in form or appearance into a more beautiful or spiritual state.
We can change our appearance quite easily these days, by having a new hairstyle, wearing different clothes, or even undergoing cosmetic surgery.
It is however, not just our physical appearance that we can change. Inwardly, we can undergo a transformation into becoming a better person. We can change our ways and learn to be more patient and tolerant in the way we treat others. We can be polite and respectful, helpful and listen more. Practice forgiveness and let go of anger and resentment, and offer compliments to others to make them feel appreciated.
Be open to Change, and surprise people as well as yourself!
I am energy…
Vitality is defined as the state of being strong, active and energised.
Most people experience illness at some point in their lives, and turn to their medical practitioner for help. Often stubborn conditions do not respond to their recommended treatment, because the root cause can be found on a spiritual level.
The aura displays imbalances long before they materialise physically, and when we have a low vitality, then we are vulnerable to all sorts of ailments.
The energy points or chakras are a great indicator of health, and in order to boost our vitality, we must enhance our energy, by achieving greater balance within them and our lives. A good place to start is with diet, as we are what we eat!
If we also become more at peace within ourselves, then we can bring harmony to the mind, body and spirit, which greatly improves our energy levels and vitality.
I have the gift of eternal knowledge…
Wisdom is the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgement. It is something that cannot be taught, or be found in a book.
It is not a collection of ideas but, along with love, it is essential for human life. Wisdom helps us to understand situations, and deal with whatever arises in a logical and calm way.
It is a manifestation of divine consciousness, and a spiritual gift which enables us to make judgements through the heart for the best possible outcome, and doing things the right way.
It is the ability to know how other people are feeling, and being able to forgive them if they do something wrong, and being able to guide them onto the right path.
Wisdom is a gift of insight from the soul.
Lust for life…
At times in our lives, we all wish that we had more energy, and this is usually brought about by having great enthusiasm for something. We experience so much strife and tension around us and when we see inequality or injustice, it has a negative affect on our being. It can make us feel lethargic, as we doubt whether anything can be done to change the way things are.
In posing that question we have already taken our first step, and if we meet likeminded people, then mutual help and encouragement and sharing of ideas and visions can open up genuine possibilities. Once we have the enthusiasm to carry them out, we quickly develop a lust for life!
On an individual level, if we make changes to our lives by creating new possibilities, we can enhance our spiritual development. In a way, it is like having a spring clean of the soul, awakening our faith in the future.
We cannot live without a zest for life, as we cannot advance without it. We need to love life, live it to the full, and contribute to its growth.
