A Week of Mummy Dances
A Week of
Mummy Dances
Monday
Blue, green, yellow, red.
Turning, turning, round and round.
Paper flying above Mummy’s head.
Paper flying to the ground.
Tuesday
Squish, ooze the colours pop.
“Make a rainbow, Mummy giggles.
As the paint goes slip, slop.
As her fingers wiggle and sqiggle.
Wednesday
Clang, clang the pot lids chat, While the pans say rat-a-tat-tat.
La-la-lah Mummy sings, As the phone goes ring, ring.
Thursday
Run, chase, laugh, race, Tickling, wiggling, giggling… yawn.
A smile on Mummy’s face.
Resting quietly on the lawn.
Friday
Heel, toe, dosey doe,
Clapping high, stomping low, Grab your teddy, don’t let go!
Mummy’s quick, teddy’s slow.
Saturday
Bang, bang, rap, rap,
Ouch, hot! Mummy rumbles, The cutlery’s dancing on my lap.
As she prepares the apple crumble.
Sunday
Listen now, hush, hush.
Sit down Mummy, there’s no rush.
