When A Queen Prays

[] When a Queen Prays

The book of Esther is one, known for many ages to describe a woman of noble character, prayer, leadership, beauty, strength and destiny. For such a time as this, cannot be spoken without thought of the powerful queen Esther born as, Hadassah. I am on a mission to restore the power of virtue within women. I believe this book will spark women to think of themselves the way

God divinely created you. In His image and likeness. There’s always been a form of rivalry within women. Why? is it really jealousy? is it envy? is it superiority? or plain pettiness that keeps women divided? Today, we find there are women’s ministries and businesses that have the purpose to bridge this gap. However, there still remains an undercurrent of separation and distrust among sisters. The mother of all nations, Sara and her rivalry with Hagar is a prime example. If the mother of all nations had conflict with another woman, are we destined to fulfill the same? Absolutely, not.

I have hopes and prayers that as women read about examples of beautiful queens they will receive a true picture of themselves by examining the lives of what these queens and women did right and wrong. I hope this book challenges you, and also resonates with your identity. I want to explore beyond the scope of the physical attributes of Esther. I will introduce you to these two queens in the book of Esther that are symbolic for all of our lives. It’s my prayer that as you read, the anointing of royalty will flow within you. The heart of a queen that seeks the Father in prayer will birth and understand the dynamics of why you are chosen and born to intercede. Why did I give this book to you? It’s simply not because I have time to give a FREE book away. It’s bigger than that. The Lord told me to gather the women and teach them how to pray. To remind you of your creative ability and assist many of you into your true destiny. I can only be a catalyst to do so because of the areas that I was challenged throughout life to gain the victory myself. I gave this book to you as a free gift, to sow and impart seed into you. No strings attached, it’s free.

A wealth of information and quick nugget of revelation to spark a thought. A thought provoking concept and call to action distinctly for all of you. One thing I know is this, my process was not an easy one. I went through Hell to receive the oil (anointing) that is flowing in my life. As you know, the anointing and prayer itself attracts warfare and sometimes unbearable persecution. When you are on this walk, you attract battles because of your affective capability. For many years I thought, I don’t want this. Everyone wants to be liked and celebrated. However, this was not my destiny. I have been groomed and born for a very specific assignment that angers the kingdom of darkness. The day I realized that Hell knew my name, I took on a new perception that couldn’t afford me to be passive about my identity. It took me awhile to truly understand that warfare was attracted to me, not because of what I did wrong, it was drawn, because of what I did right. God made this clear to me on several occasions. Allowing me to understand how to become a skilled warrior that required me to live unapologetic and unafraid of their faces despite what He revealed to me prophetically concerning things. People pretend to desire truth. However, because of conformity and strongholds they sometimes reject it. This is natural and expected, as we saw Jesus endure the same. As for many of you reading, there’s a call upon your life that must be answered from you. Answering the call is often times challenging, yet rewarding.

This surely is the time to answer. One thing is this, God will not beg you. He will call you and then one day after several attempts, it will stop because He recognizes that you have said no or will not pick up His call. I believe that many of you are ready to pick up your call and hear what the Father has to say concerning your life. For this to take off, you must gain access in key areas.

In this book you will receive:

p<{color:#000;}. Clarity concerning your next steps

p<{color:#000;}. Provoking Action to join our women’s mission to PRAY

p<{color:#000;}. Courage to Stand up and Step out into your calling with boldness

p<{color:#000;}. Confirmation to commit your life to a never ending vow to intercession

p<{color:#000;}. [*Understanding *]about the dynamics of kingdom order and necessity for PRAYER

p<{color:#000;}. Knowledge about the depths of a believing woman’s PRAYERS

I want to begin with the first introduction into the life of Queen Vashti. Esther is the source of this topic, however, I want to create a question that will allow you to think about the distinction between the two women. I often teach that, if we cannot appreciate each other’s journey and story, how can we truly develop sincere sisterhood and appreciation for one another? Women can be critical of each other. Have you ever felt as if you can’t get a break from what feels almost like hatred toward you? Maybe you can identify.  Have you ever felt crushed by a woman of influence that you admired, only to discover they were intimidated by you? The disheartening concern is that as Christian women, how are there so many divisions amongst us and why the backlash against what you may feel is “ little ole me”? The answer is this. You’re not “ little ole me” even if you haven’t discovered the total scope of your identity, keep in mind, the devil has.

He will utilize anyone that he has access to break and tear down your self- perception, so you will never see Christ arise within you and fulfill destiny. Hadassah, was supposed to be torn by the fact she was an orphan, however, God has another plan and purpose designed for her existence. Let's walk for a moment through Queen Vashti's life and legacy.

Vashti corresponded to the representation and meaning of her name, “beautiful woman.” She must have been one of the loveliest women in the realm of King Ahasuerus who thought so much of his wife’s physical beauty and fairness that at a drinking debauchery he wanted to exhibit her as a display, for she “was fair to look upon.” as the bible describes.

How do you live up to your name, when the meaning of who you are speaks “beautiful woman”. Could you imagine the pressure? Many would believe it to be her privilege.

Vashti, for many, always attributes her with disobedience and warrants disgrace for her rebellion against her husband the king. However true, I want to paint a new picture of her.

She disobeyed the command of her husband. I want to look beyond her mistake, into the woman who was upholding a standard and law for the sake of her own personal empire. It has been said that Vashti was a queen and woman that exuded modesty. That if not for her character, she would have been common as the concubines or women that she was to uphold grace and royalty. By birth Vashti was a Persian princess, possessing along with regal bearing, an extraordinary, uncommon beauty. Her husband was a king “who reigned from India, unto Ethiopia, over an hundred and seven and twenty provinces,” her self-respect and esteemed character meant more to her than her husband’s vast realm. Sounds like a man that every woman today prays for, right?

Vashti felt that it would lower her value to cater to the vanity and sensuality of drunkards. In place, she sacrificed a kingdom for her honor. Vashti accepted disgrace and dismissal. An exquisite banquet was to be held in Susa the capital of Persia, which lasted for seven days, with the king and his dignitaries along with hundreds of invited guests in an unlimited host of festivities which wine flowed extravagantly.

Both great and small were to be found “in the court of the garden of the palace.  When “the heart of the king was merry with wine” he commanded that Vashti, his royal queen, appear before the guests. For a week, indulged with wine and adulation, he had displayed the magnificent wealth and power of his kingdom. The king wanted all the half-drunken guests to see his most lovely possession of all, Queen Vashti. The Bible plainly declares that

Ahasuerus summoned his wife to the feast simply “to show her beauty.” Had the king been sober he would not have considered breaching the custom, he knew that Eastern women lived in seclusion and that such a request amounted to a gross insult. “For Vashti to appear in the banquet hall, though dressed in her royal robes and crowned, would be almost as degrading as for a modern woman to arrive naked at an all men’s party. What Ahasuerus demanded was a surrender of womanly honor, and Vashti, who was neither vain nor wanton, was unwilling to comply (rebelled). It was customary for a Persian king to have his queen beside him at a banquet, but when he wished to riot and drink, he sent his queen away and called in the wives of inferior rank—his concubines so that he could freely be indecent. Vashti’s indignant refusal was for the sake of Persian custom that dictated a queen be secluded during the feasts where rare wines flowed freely. Obedience, honor or rebellion you may ask? What do you do, when your husband is not making proper decisions or you disagree with higher authority? How do you follow a man, or leadership when their request or actions are questionable? Queen Vashti, chose to honor her custom and also made a decision concerning her reputation and character as a queen.

Would she be compromised and viewed as ordinary? Should she be displayed before the elect of Persia? Would she be considered as one of the concubines and common women who revealed their nakedness? All of these questions, in a matter of moments that this queen must make. Do I defy the request of the king, who is improperly requesting my presence, or should I defy, for the sake of the law of what was customary? Vashti, woman of beauty.

Women and their beauty have always been a most precious possession. In the worlds view, It is upheld to be known as a powerful weapon or a treasure depending upon how a woman views or values herself.

The life of queen Vashti, reveals both honor, sacrifice, yet disgraced. She was known for physical attributes that caused her to forfeit her kingdom. Compromised by a request that would forever alter her life. Was defying the request of her king, worth the entire kingdom? Did she still suffer the same punishment as if she entered the banquet? Yes, absolutely. To be banished as queen before the entire kingdom for her rebellion against the request of the king was far worse than defending her physical attributes or beauty. This represents the mentality of many modern day women. How so? Today we live in a society where self- image is tied to the measure of success.

We see it every day. Women neglecting the call of the King, to build their own empires, to sustain their own worth. What would Esther have done differently? Were these two queens the same?

In modern times today, more and more women are being deceived by physical attributes of what they see. Disfiguring their bodies and following the leadership of female celebrity ruler ship. Believing that their honor or what they possess is a weapon or bargaining piece.

Are modern day women, satisfied with the price tag they place upon their existence for the sake of obtaining an empire or position? I have discussed the topics of women in the celebrity light such as Beyonce and other women of influence that dishonor and disgrace the substance and true honor of a woman. Creating rebellious, immodest, angry and sexually perverted women as followers and slaves to advance their demonic kingdoms and self -made empires.

Is there honor in defending physical beauty or seeing the bigger picture of the kingdom of God within you? Do you believe that real beauty (inner virtue) is the identity of the Kingdom of God within you? Queens are women who have obtained the greatest weapon that outranks beauty and physicality. They are women who are armed with prayer and understand the most valuable request that comes along with sacrifice for their virtue, kingdom and people. Defying the request of the king proved to be more dishonorable, than honor for what will eventually fade.

Could Vashti have used more wisdom? By being known to enter into the court of the feast and kindly whisper to her husband the endangering effects of her presence, all the while, still honoring him as her king and husband? Yes, in the most profound way.

[*James 3:17  But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. *]

Women who understand the heart of their husbands and those in leadership, understand the heart of Christ. How so?

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Vashti was a leading lady within a kingdom where women near and far admired and respected her. Had she not been removed and reprimanded publicly, women would’ve rebelled against their husbands and households globally. Queen Vashti would’ve been known as the queen who defied the King and prevailed. This is a symbol of out of order.

When women uphold their spouse, or God and leadership if you’re a single woman, in honor and respect through intercession and prayer, they’ve obtained favor through their close relationship and covenant.

Do you believe a form of Vashti exist today or lives in us all? Woman of beauty, disgraced in shame, for the honor of appearance? Women don’t have to rely on beauty to obtain favor. Can you identify, that Jesus Christ, your King of kings has his favor upon you? If so, how? What makes you a woman of favor?

Where does the favor of the King come from? How does one obtain it? Today, it is thought that It must be your works that proves your success, demonstrating the Lord’s favor. Some believe that impossibilities or “open doors” of opportunity say you have favor. Possibly, is favor because you have accomplished everything on your vision board and hit list for the year that shows you are favored? No, it must be how beautiful or “slayed”

“on fleek” “ face beat” “ fabulous” or “hot” you are.

I ask this because, we figure that if we possess these thing’s it describes being favored. Are women, that don’t have these things not favored? I am not wanting to hurt anyone’s feelings.

I simply want to challenge the mentality and hearts of women. I have seen women that were victims of abuse escape from their abusers, start a life again and progress into a healthy life after healing. Favor is defined as this: an attitude of approval or liking. Approval, Approbation, Goodwill, Kindness, Benevolence.

I believe, the Lord wants to give His daughter’s a fresh divine download of new vocabulary concerning their identity. Why? The enemy loves to alter women’s power with symbols that smear there true reflection. Satan knows that if you become more Christ like, he will not be able to duplicate you or outshine God’s glory in your life. Therefore, he creates a new image that looks like or attributes his world and identity. So, he incorporates his own language to make women, prideful, haughty, flesh driven, of low esteem and carnal. The enemy knows who you are, so it benefits him to keep you looking, speaking and chasing after the world. My task in redefining our language as women of God is very challenging. Because many love to jump on the band wagon that it must be “hate” on them because of correcting this misrepresentation. It’s not hate, it’s Christ wanting to set his women apart, from Satan’s women that represent him.

The distinction between a queen who reigns and a queen who prays is there language and perception differ. They speak and model themselves uniquely, therefore, standing out amongst other’s that are not refined in their identity as of yet. A positive influencer is a powerful key element to birthing a generation of believers.

The Lord wants to refine you with a new language that define you in the eyes and image of your creator, God your Father. When He named you it was not for the sake of it being a curse. Vashti was made beautiful for a greater purpose that didn’t require defending. It required her to demonstrate her royalty through submission, even when compromised.

Standards of being a beautiful woman has never been defined by physicality, it is defined in character and the meaning of who you are. Standards that fortify a nation and sustain generations to come. Dominant women have a distinct character flaw that will forever yield destruction. They are self- consumed and lack knowledge of their individual paradigm to legislate and defy the odds of destruction of their own seed, legacy and inheritance. Women who understand the royalty facets of the Kingdom of God, never rule, they subdue through love, nurturing, honor and submission.

A queen is never a “Boss” she is a matriarch and noble woman that is “swift to hear, slow to speak and slow to get angry”. James 1:3

Here are a few words that define a godly queen. Royalty, Sovereign, Victor, Belle- beautiful, Matriarch, Dignified Woman,

Regal, Crowned Head, Superior, Lady, Regent, Wife of a King, Honored Woman, Conqueror, Noble Woman, Champion, Elite

Do you believe these titles and descriptions outweigh being “slayed” Or “on fleek”. Have women become too haughty and less humble? Do you believe that women are displaying power improperly? Women are teaching the next generation to be a “boss chick” how to “grind” get your “paper” and most of all “hustle”. We love to take these words and say they’re kingdom simply because we rename it. However, the root of a thing, is the meaning thereof. I challenge you to look up the meaning of the names to some of these women’s campaigns.

They say God gave them these visions to empower. However, there’s a language that God speaks and it is never involving self- exaltation or putting a woman in the position to grind nor hustle, be violent or portray dominance and aggression. How can a “chick” compare to an eagle? When I see the word chick I cringe at the thought we use it to describe a woman or a lady. I know there are trends and that we must relate to the world to reach them. However, we are to enter into the world to show them the opposite of what they are accustom to.

There are 5 major areas that devalue a woman:

1. Corrupt Thinking: Thoughts of constant negativity

2. Wounded Heart: Hurts that have scarred the soul to the point that it alters physical appearance and character

3. Envy: Looking through the eyes of life from another woman’s view

4. Jealousy: Wanting what someone else possess. Counterfeiting other women and their visions

5. Low Self Worth: Living through a lack of identity and impure motive toward yourself

On average, 7 out of 10 women suffer with these 5 major characteristics. Surprisingly, many of these women appear to be successful or accomplished in the public eye. It's not only women who are not successful or lack esteem. Typically, women who have no true prayer life suffer from the 5 major areas and more. They are weighed down by the cares of life and low self -worth because they have not taken the purity process that is required for a woman to come into her self- identification for her own destiny.

How do you forfeit your destiny and role as Queen?

1. Rebellion | Disobedience

2. [* Self- Exaltation *] | Selfishness

3. Pride | Stubborn

4. Tradition | Religion

5. Lack of Wisdom | Ignorance

There’s a cure and remedy that will help you move past these strongholds. What?

[*Prayer and intercession. *]

We have already visited a woman who forfeited her role and position of honor for custom and self- gratification. But let's visit a woman who defied customs and self- preservation to save the lives and honor of her people.

I always say, a hurting woman is a dangerous woman.

Why? The wrath of a woman scorned is a key indication that Satan has exalted himself in their life through the pain and hurt he inflicted to control them. He utilizes them as puppets and pets to command and work on his behalf. If a scorned woman is running a household is it inevitable to fall. Let’s begin our journey to visit the new queen arising!

Walking through the life of a young girl named Hadassah, who we know today, renamed as Esther. Woman, for such a time as this.

One thing I love the most about this amazing Queen is her journey to becoming fearless and brave. This story identifies with you, every woman reading. Esther is not merely a story, she is an

example that demonstrates the inherent power we all have within.

Esther, connects the name with the Persian word for “star”, Setareh, explaining that Esther was so named for being as beautiful as the Morning Star.

Many have heard the saying that, there’s nothing like the power of a praying woman. Queen Esther’s stance for prayer is not only powerful, it is historical. I believe God is calling to develop women to become history makers, legendary matriarchs for the Kingdom of God. This is by any means a physical effort. The only way to leave this type of legacy is within the corporate structure and deliverance of intercession. God made women sensitive for a greater purpose beyond our emotions. That’s why it is important for women to understand their identity.

Because it is easy to be drawn away by negative emotions and utilize the power of influence we have negatively. To tear down or destroy. A wicked woman is a lethal weapon. The adversary knows this.

Ladies, stop thinking that you have to be grand to step into your destiny. You’re not defined by your background. God has plans for you, most of the time we have visions of only the things we desire. I challenge you to ask God to give you an open revelation and vision of His purpose for your life. Yes, ask for the vision. Whatever you can’t see you guess about. This is not the hour to question who you are or to “wing it” “fake it” until you make it. Esther was an orphan that was being raised by her cousin Mordecai. I wonder if she knew that her destiny encompassed being the Queen? I’m quite sure that women, watched Vashti from afar, admiring her. Could Esther see the mirror image of herself to become Vashti’s replacement? Most likely, not.

You admire people that you aspire to be like. Admiration is great, if it’s healthy. There are some who take it too far. They idolize someone and copy them versus knowing that they are simply the muse and model to exemplify themselves by. A model is something the can be copied, but never duplicated. Why? You don’t have their DNA, finger prints, features or gifts. Everyone was created unique and original. Even identical twins have different finger prints. There’s something about them that’s original. Queen Esther becomes the new face of royalty and God takes her from orphan turned queen almost overnight. Let’s read this powerful story.

Esther 2 New International Version (NIV)

Esther Made Queen

Later when King Xerxes’ fury had subsided, he remembered Vashti and what she had done and what he had decreed about her. 2 Then the king’s personal attendants proposed, “Let a search be made for beautiful young virgins for the king. 3 Let the king appoint commissioners in every province of his realm to bring all these beautiful young women into the harem at the citadel of Susa. Let them be placed under the care of Hegai, the king’s eunuch, who is in charge of the women; and let beauty treatments be given to them. 4 Then let the young woman who pleases the king be queen instead of Vashti.” This advice appealed to the king, and he followed it.

5 Now there was in the citadel of Susa a Jew of the tribe of Benjamin, named Mordecai son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, 6 who had been carried into exile from Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, among those taken captive with Jehoiachin king of Judah. 7 Mordecai had a cousin named Hadassah, whom he had brought up because she had neither father nor mother. This young woman, who was also known as Esther, had a lovely figure and was beautiful. Mordecai had taken her as his own daughter when her father and mother died.

When the king’s order and edict had been proclaimed, many young women were brought to the citadel of Susa and put under the care of Hegai. Esther also was taken to the king’s palace and entrusted to Hegai, who had charge of the harem. 9 She pleased him and won his favor. Immediately he provided her with her beauty treatments and special food. He assigned to her seven female attendants selected from the king’s palace and moved her and her attendants into the best place in the harem.

[*This process of preparation to become the queen was not a small matter. This was one of the largest beauty contest of all time. Esther was rooted in her belief inwardly, however, now she began a beauty regimen that allowed her to come full circle. Inward and outward treatments, special diet, herbs, spices and 24 hour assistance to meet the demands of purity. (Prophetess Tori) *]

10 Esther had not revealed her nationality and family background, because Mordecai had forbidden her to do so. 11 Every day he walked back and forth near the courtyard of the harem to find out how Esther was and what was happening to her.

[*How many know, that sometimes it best to keep your testimony to yourself until you get into position. I often say that, some women talk entirely too much and don’t discipline themselves in prayer to be silent. There’s a time, place and space to tell your story. This was not that moment. Mordecai was wise, he knew that something divine was happening. What if Esther immediately began to tell everyone about her parents and how pitiful she was because she had been an orphan and all of the details about her people. Was it time for that? Absolutely not. *]

Some of you have spoken too soon. Wanting to use pity or sympathy to get what you want from people, thinking that they hold your blessing. The way you solicit your help is through prayer. Many go through broken relationships and friendships because they confide way too soon in people that they meet and immediately they know your entire life story. Telling your business prematurely can be critical to the magnitude of warfare you encounter. I am concerned when someone is constantly talking about how they are attacked repeatedly.

Someone knowing your past should never be the bricks that build or establish your relationship with someone. Because if they turn the other cheek suddenly and you recognize the motive was impure, you didn’t gain a friend you gain an adversary.

This is disheartening for so many individuals to share their intimate place and space only later to discover that the person needed your assistance and was not qualified to handle your story. Esther would be queen, the women would need to respect her during the process, not disqualify her because of her past. Women who compete can become very strategic in attempting to discredit and disqualify their opponents because they want to be chosen, or the best. That’s why a women who don’t pray, can become a dangerous woman.

You can never discover your identity without prayer. You must receive that revelation from God through intercession and in times of intimacy that happens as you and the Lord are getting to know each other in prayer.

This is why we have women, fighting other women. There are two sides. Those who know who they are and pray and then the other side. Those who don’t pray often and have no clue of who they are, therefore breeding a generation of intimidated women looking through the lens at ladies who are soaring into their destiny. (Prophetess Tori)

12 Before a young woman’s turn came to go in to King Xerxes, she had to complete twelve months of beauty treatments prescribed for the women, six months with oil of myrrh and six with perfumes and cosmetics. 13 And this is how she would go to the king: Anything she wanted was given her to take with her from the harem to the king’s palace. 14 In the evening she would go there and in the morning return to another part of the harem to the care of Shaashgaz, the king’s eunuch who was in charge of the concubines. She would not return to the king unless he was pleased with her and summoned her by name.

[*Twelve months of beauty treatments. A 365 day journey into purity and wholeness to prepare to be presented before the King. Jesus is looking for this same type of purity journey for all of you. Some of you are going to be challenged through this book and journey that I am presenting to women to the power of purity through prayer. I want you to see that you are being prepared for the greatest days of your life. But first, you must understand that the preparation of a queen and to be promoted takes a process. God asked me to call His daughter’s to prayer and help them see that they too, are His queens that He desires to prepare like Esther. *]

[*Some of you ladies are already married and some of you are in anticipation and expectation for your Kings to come. I believe that as you take this journey to discover The NEW You, the new creation through Christ, you will step into your destiny fearlessly and many of your hearts desires for your husbands and Kings to come will be fulfilled. However, this journey is necessary to achieve it. (Prophetess Tori) *]

15 When the turn came for Esther (the young woman Mordecai had adopted, the daughter of his uncle Abihail) to go to the king, she asked for nothing other than what Hegai, the king’s eunuch who was in charge of the harem, suggested. And Esther won the favor of everyone who saw her. 16 She was taken to King Xerxes in the royal residence in the tenth month, the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.

17 Now the king was attracted to Esther more than to any of the other women, and she won his favor and approval more than any of the other virgins. So he set a royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. 18 And the king gave a great banquet, Esther’s banquet, for all his nobles and officials. He proclaimed a holiday throughout the provinces and distributed gifts with royal liberality.

[*Esther found favor with the King. This young adopted woman, the King was attracted to her. This is what women must understand. This twelve month/365 day journey is what will attract Kings to you. Married women, through your process, you will see your entire kingdom (within your home) transform. The King in your husband will intensify or arise. Single ladies, this is where you will attract from the North, South, East and West who God has ordained for you. The man of God (King) that is ordained and destined for your life. But, you must make this commitment. *]

[*Are you willing to be patient, are you willing to make the dedication because you see the entire view of your purpose and God called destiny? The NEW You will deliver an entire new life. Old things will pass away, and behold (see) all things become NEW. Esther experienced this newness and transformation that got the attention as royalty. (Prophetess Tori) *]

Mordecai Uncovers a Conspiracy

19 When the virgins were assembled a second time, Mordecai was sitting at the king’s gate. 20 But Esther had kept secret her family background and nationality just as Mordecai had told her to do, for she continued to follow Mordecai’s instructions as she had done when he was bringing her up.

21 During the time Mordecai was sitting at the king’s gate, Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s officers who guarded the doorway, became angry and conspired to assassinate King Xerxes. 22 But Mordecai found out about the plot and told Queen Esther, who in turn reported it to the king, giving credit to Mordecai. 23 And when the report was investigated and found to be true, the two officials were impaled on poles. All this was recorded in the book of the annals in the presence of the king.

When you walk into your inheritance and new position, it will bless your family. Queen Esther was connected directly with the King to be utilized for Mordecai in this arising situation. Things are about to intensify. Let’s read (Prophetess Tori)

Esther 3New International Version (NIV)

Haman’s Plot to Destroy the Jews

3 After these events, King Xerxes honored Haman son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, elevating him and giving him a seat of honor higher than that of all the other nobles. 2 All the royal officials at the king’s gate knelt down and paid honor to Haman, for the king had commanded this concerning him. But Mordecai would not kneel down or pay him honor.

Keep in mind, it will always “look like” the enemy is winning before you see true justice served. Many forfeit their prayers and belief when this happens. How many battles have you left feeling defeated because you felt like the enemy won? There’s an unfinished work in many of you reading today, that God wants you to complete. I hear the Lord say, finish the work. (Prophetess Tori)

3 Then the royal officials at the king’s gate asked Mordecai, “Why do you disobey the king’s command?” 4 Day after day they spoke to him but he refused to comply. Therefore they told Haman about it to see whether Mordecai’s behavior would be tolerated, for he had told them he was a Jew.

Ladies, please, never believe that advancement and success will make everything easier. The process and demand for you to elevate will always accompany a cost. It takes time, work and commitment in the prayer closet to be the successor within any given sphere of influence and territory. It is not so much, “greater levels, greater devils” it is “ greater levels, greater wisdom” Never believe that it takes physical strength to fight an adversary. It doesn’t take strength. It takes strategy. Many go into their daily lives with no strategy. No armor, no weapon. How is this the stance of a soldier that understand and knows they have an enemy and needs to execute an assignment? What does your destiny truly mean to you? (Prophetess Tori)

5 When Haman saw that Mordecai would not kneel down or pay him honor, he was enraged. 6 Yet having learned who Mordecai’s people were, he scorned the idea of killing only Mordecai. Instead Haman looked for a way to destroy all Mordecai’s people, the Jews, throughout the whole kingdom of Xerxes.

Recognize this, the enemy is jealous. Jealousy is a clear sign of Satan. He demands worship when God the Father, never demands it, He allows us to choose it. The enemy hates you, when you step into your divine position. When every believer of Jesus understands this hatred from a constant adversary that not only wants to hurt you, but kill you, we will find more winning battles and significant victories. Will you become more aggressive in your pursuit and commitment to pray? (Prophetess Tori)

7 In the twelfth year of King Xerxes, in the first month, the month of Nisan, the pur (that is, the lot) was cast in the presence of Haman to select a day and month. And the lot fell on the twelfth month, the month of Adar.

8 Then Haman said to King Xerxes, “There is a certain people dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of your kingdom who keep themselves separate. Their customs are different from those of all other people, and they do not obey the king’s laws; it is not in the king’s best interest to tolerate them. 9 If it pleases the king, let a decree be issued to destroy them, and I will give ten thousand talents[b] of silver to the king’s administrators for the royal treasury.”

10 So the king took his signet ring from his finger and gave it to Haman son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of the Jews. 11 “Keep the money,” the king said to Haman, “and do with the people as you please.”

12 Then on the thirteenth day of the first month the royal secretaries were summoned. They wrote out in the script of each province and in the language of each people all Haman’s orders to the king’s satraps, the governors of the various provinces and the nobles of the various peoples. These were written in the name of King Xerxes himself and sealed with his own ring. 13 Dispatches were sent by couriers to all the king’s provinces with the order to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Jews—young and old, women and children—on a single day, the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month of Adar, and to plunder their goods. 14 A copy of the text of the edict was to be issued as law in every province and made known to the people of every nationality so they would be ready for that day.

Do you know, there are written decrees by the enemy, at this very moment, lingering preparing to destroy us? We watch them in action everyday on the news, on social media. The stories are endless. Why? There’s no one committed to prayer.

3 Areas That People Pray The Most:

p<{color:#000;}. When they’re in trouble and need emergency help only

p<{color:#000;}. When finances or money is needed

p<{color:#000;}. When they experience tragedy

Sad, however, true. Pimping God is not the solution to spiritual crisis and red alerts in the spirit realm. A red alert is when there is a threat and the alarm sounds for help. What happens when the alarm sounds and no one is there to come to the rescue? Destruction, death, defeat happens. Where were you when children were being killed in the street? Did you sleep well? Cozy in your beds while a mother was mourning the loss of her child? Where are you women of God? “Prophetess Tori”

15 The couriers went out, spurred on by the king’s command, and the edict was issued in the citadel of Susa. The king and Haman sat down to drink, but the city of Susa was bewildered.

Esther 4New King James Version (NKJV)

Esther Agrees to Help the Jews

4 When Mordecai learned all that had happened, he tore his clothes and put on sackcloth and ashes, and went out into the midst of the city. He cried out with a loud and bitter cry. 2 He went as far as the front of the king’s gate, for no one might enter the king’s gate clothed with sackcloth. 3 And in every province where the king’s command and decree arrived, there was great mourning among the Jews, with fasting, weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes.

[*What’s your response when you see the demonic kingdom arising and elevating itself? Fasting? Praying? Mourning? Crying? Are you, known queens, affected at all? Prayer MUST be heard and sent in order for the Father to be able to intervene and respond. This is not a desire, it is a necessity. “Prophetess Tori” *]

4 So Esther’s maids and eunuchs came and told her, and the queen was deeply distressed. Then she sent garments to clothe Mordecai and take his sackcloth away from him, but he would not accept them. 5 Then Esther called Hathach, one of the king’s eunuchs whom he had appointed to attend her, and she gave him a command concerning Mordecai, to learn what and why this was. 6 So Hathach went out to Mordecai in the city square that was in front of the king’s gate. 7 And Mordecai told him all that had happened to him, and the sum of money that Haman had promised to pay into the king’s treasuries to destroy the Jews. 8 He also gave him a copy of the written decree for their destruction, which was given at Shushan, that he might show it to Esther and explain it to her, and that he might command her to go in to the king to make supplication to him and plead before him for her people. 9 So Hathach returned and told Esther the words of Mordecai.

Thus far, it is evident, the major difference between the two queens, Vashti and Esther. The changing of the guard is happening now because God is making a distinction between the two diverse types of individuals and women. There are some that are like Vashti, they are all centered on self and vanity. Their work is not productive, it carnal and fashionable. Queen Esther displays women who are matriarchs and atmosphere changers, legislators and prayer generals. They are for the people and have the power to invoke change. Which Queen Are You? “Prophetess Tori”

10 Then Esther spoke to Hathach, and gave him a command for Mordecai: 11 “All the king’s servants and the people of the king’s provinces know that any man or woman who goes into the inner court to the king, who has not been called, he has but one law: put all to death, except the one to whom the king holds out the golden scepter, that he may live. Yet I myself have not been called to go in to the king these thirty days.” 12 So they told Mordecai Esther’s words.

A true queen defies that odds and has the audacity to move in “Fearless Faith” they understand the laws and the boundaries and can utilize kingdom wisdom and courage to execute proper judgement. “Prophetess Tori”

13 And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. 14 For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Do you understand now, time has come, that, if you don’t be obedient, and forfeit your right and power to be utilized by God, He will raise up another? Many believe that they have time and they control when and where or even, why, they can go forth and be the source or answer for someone. We control nothing, if God has positioned you, rest assured that you are there for greater purpose beyond “YOU” a queen and godly woman understands this. This is the very reason why many of you are unsuccessful in your pursuit to execute a dream or vision. Because you are modeling yourself by Carnal Queens. Women who only have power to highlight themselves and don’t possess wisdom through the word. The lack of understanding your assignment is critical and can also bankrupt you in every area of living. Some of you are impoverished spiritually. The bible speaks that you will prosper as your soul prospers. Why are your finances struggling? Because of being spiritually bankrupt. No active prayer life suffocates the life of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. You are doing things and have not talked to God. Prayer is conversation with the Father that leads you into speaking to Him on behalf of others also, this is what we call INTERCESSION “Gap Standers” “ Prayer Warriors” This is what Esther was. A Queen That Prays. “Prophetess Tori”

15 Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: 16 “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!”

17 So Mordecai went his way and did according to all that Esther commanded him.

Strategic, right? She began to take hold of the situation and utilize her jurisdictional authority to gather everyone to stand in agreement with her on behalf of this situation. She didn’t ignore it, escape it or run from it, she confronted head on with authority and power. When a Queen Prays the results begin to take a shift in our favor. When A Queen Prays she diverts the plans of the kingdom of darkness and becomes a master and skilled general and soldier. She knows her place is to enter into the place where you can actually do something about what is happening in the natural realms. This Is What Happens When A Queen Prays! “Prophetess Tori”

Esther 5New King James Version (NKJV)

Esther’s Banquet

5 Now it happened on the third day that Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king’s palace, across from the king’s house, while the king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, facing the entrance of the house. 2 So it was, when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, that she found favor in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther went near and touched the top of the scepter.

The garments that we wear are important. Every portion of our 12 month process becomes relevant at this point. This is where you are identified as a queen, a woman of prayer that has received favor with the Lord, the King. When we don’t pray, we enter into places illegally. What does that mean? You enter into places that God has not given you permission or the grace to go. This ultimately results in failure or disappointment. How many of you have been through 12 months of preparation with the Father? Have you given Him the time to establish you? “Prophetess Tori”

3 And the king said to her, “What do you wish, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given to you—up to half the kingdom!”

How you enter into the presence of the Lord is important and key to receiving what you’re asking for. “Prophetess Tori”

4 So Esther answered, “If it pleases the king, let the king and Haman come today to the banquet that I have prepared for him.”

5 Then the king said, “Bring Haman quickly, that he may do as Esther has said.” So the king and Haman went to the banquet that Esther had prepared.

6 At the banquet of wine the king said to Esther, “What is your petition? It shall be granted you. What is your request, up to half the kingdom? It shall be done!”

7 Then Esther answered and said, “My petition and request is this: 8 If I have found favor in the sight of the king, and if it pleases the king to grant my petition and fulfill my request, then let the king and Haman come to the banquet which I will prepare for them, and tomorrow I will do as the king has said.”

Haman’s Plot Against Mordecai

9 So Haman went out that day joyful and with a glad heart; but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king’s gate, and that he did not stand or tremble before him, he was filled with indignation against Mordecai. 10 Nevertheless Haman restrained himself and went home, and he sent and called for his friends and his wife Zeresh. 11 Then Haman told them of his great riches, the multitude of his children, everything in which the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the officials and servants of the king.

12 Moreover Haman said, “Besides, Queen Esther invited no one but me to come in with the king to the banquet that she prepared; and tomorrow I am again invited by her, along with the king. 13 Yet all this avails me nothing, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king’s gate.”

14 Then his wife Zeresh and all his friends said to him, “Let a gallows be made, fifty cubits high, and in the morning suggest to the king that Mordecai be hanged on it; then go merrily with the king to the banquet.”

And the thing pleased Haman; so he had the gallows made.

While the enemy is planning, plotting and scheming, God is moving through Esther. Do you see this? This is why it’s so important to do our part. What if Esther has disobeyed or ignored the red alert? What do we see happening in our world today because we are ignoring doing our part? “Prophetess Tori”

Esther 6New King James Version (NKJV)

The King Honors Mordecai

6 That night the king could not sleep. So one was commanded to bring the book of the records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king. 2 And it was found written that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s eunuchs, the doorkeepers who had sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus. 3 Then the king said, “What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?”

And the king’s servants who attended him said, “Nothing has been done for him.”

4 So the king said, “Who is in the court?” Now Haman had just entered the outer court of the king’s palace to suggest that the king hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him.

5 The king’s servants said to him, “Haman is there, standing in the court.”

And the king said, “Let him come in.”

6 So Haman came in, and the king asked him, “What shall be done for the man whom the king delights to honor?”

Now Haman thought in his heart, “Whom would the king delight to honor more than me?” 7 And Haman answered the king, “For the man whom the king delights to honor, 8 let a royal robe be brought which the king has worn, and a horse on which the king has ridden, which has a royal crest placed on its head. 9 Then let this robe and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king’s most noble princes, that he may array the man whom the king delights to honor. Then parade him on horseback through the city square, and proclaim before him: ‘Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!’”

10 Then the king said to Haman, “Hurry, take the robe and the horse, as you have suggested, and do so for Mordecai the Jew who sits within the king’s gate! Leave nothing undone of all that you have spoken.”

11 So Haman took the robe and the horse, arrayed Mordecai and led him on horseback through the city square, and proclaimed before him, “Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!”

12 Afterward Mordecai went back to the king’s gate. But Haman hurried to his house, mourning and with his head covered. 13 When Haman told his wife Zeresh and all his friends everything that had happened to him, his wise men and his wife Zeresh said to him, “If Mordecai, before whom you have begun to fall, is of Jewish descent, you will not prevail against him but will surely fall before him.”

[*The enemy dispatches word curses against Gods anointed and the righteous all of the time. It is our duty to defy it, cancel it, counter attack it. Notice how the enemy was being made Mordecai’s footstool. The enemy had to bless Mordecai and reward him. How funny is that? I have seen countless hidden and secret demonic agendas against me fail. I have watched my enemies, literally be made my footstool. The secret hatred, character assassinations, secret agents sent to spy on me, even to this very hour. Yet, my prayers and prophetic intercession has allowed me to see it all, combat it and watch the Father execute on my behalf. We are about to see our enemies crumble and be hung on the very gallows they have designed for our death and destruction. But you must fast, pray and go through preparation. This is high level warfare and assignment. “Prophetess Tori” *]

14 While they were still talking with him, the king’s eunuchs came, and hastened to bring Haman to the banquet which Esther had prepared.

In the midst of them talking about their plan, the final hour of exposure had been set. “Prophetess Tori”

Esther 7New King James Version (NKJV)

Haman Hanged Instead of Mordecai

7 So the king and Haman went to dine with Queen Esther. 2 And on the second day, at the banquet of wine, the king again said to Esther, “What is your petition, Queen Esther? It shall be granted you. And what is your request, up to half the kingdom? It shall be done!”

3 Then Queen Esther answered and said, “If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it pleases the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request. 4 For we have been sold, my people and I, to be destroyed, to be killed, and to be annihilated. Had we been sold as male and female slaves, I would have held my tongue, although the enemy could never compensate for the king’s loss.”

5 So King Ahasuerus answered and said to Queen Esther, “Who is he, and where is he, who would dare presume in his heart to do such a thing?”

6 And Esther said, “The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman!” So Haman was terrified before the king and queen.

7 Then the king arose in his wrath from the banquet of wine and went into the palace garden; but Haman stood before Queen Esther, pleading for his life, for he saw that evil was determined against him by the king. 8 When the king returned from the palace garden to the place of the banquet of wine, Haman had fallen across the couch where Esther was. Then the king said, “Will he also assault the queen while I am in the house?”

As the word left the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face. 9 Now Harbonah, one of the eunuchs, said to the king, “Look! The gallows, fifty cubits high, which Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke good on the king’s behalf, is standing at the house of Haman.” Then the king said, “Hang him on it!”

10 So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king’s wrath subsided.

When A Queen Prays

The book of Esther is one, known for many ages to describe a woman of noble character, prayer, leadership, beauty, strength and destiny. For such a time as this, cannot be spoken without thought of the powerful queen Esther born as, Hadassah. I am on a mission to restore the power of virtue within women. I believe this book will spark women to think of themselves the way God divinely created you. In His image and likeness. There's always been a form of rivalry within women. Why? is it really jealousy? is it envy? is it superiority? or plain pettiness that keeps women divided? Today, we find there are women's ministries and businesses that have the purpose to bridge this gap. However, there still remains an under current of separation and distrust among sisters. I will introduce you to these two queens in the book of Esther, that are symbolic for all of our lives. It's my prayer that as you read, the anointing of royalty will flow within you. The heart of a queen that seeks the Father in prayer will birth and understand the dynamics of why you are chosen and born to intercede.
