As your eyes adjust to the dark you are able to realize you have landed on the blood-stained windshield. it’s cracked and is about to break. You take out a small flashlight from your pocket. You have two options, both containing their own risks. You could either climb towards the creature and escape out of the back of the car. hoping that whatever is holding the car up, might hold you. Or as a second option, you could try escaping out a passenger window close to you. However, you do not know that it is stable, or that there is anything to grab on once you get there. The breathing is getting closer, sounding more like an animal.
It growls loudly and you climb past the seats to the back of the car. you grope around blindly in the dark until you find the latch to open the window. You cry out as you feel claws scrape down your back. You twist around and kick the beast in the head. It snarls and bites down on your left leg. Hard. It twists its head and pulls you back. Your grip from the latch is slipping. You can feel your skin tear with sharp pain following. your grip from the latch slips. The Teithwyr drags you down by your leg. Complete darkness.
You open your eyes to complete darkness. It feels as if somebody is pounding on your head with a hammer. The last thing you remember is a brown dog running out into the road, the brightness of the daylight, and your car headed off the road. As your head clears, you realize you are hanging upside down.
