From the Author to the Reader

This book is no ordinary book. It is a handbook for the new way of eating and being. It can transform you into a new individual, one who is healthy, beautiful, radiant, peaceful, balanced and joyful. It is a book that can help you create a new body for your new life on Earth. It is meant for you to read the chapters slowly as they were written, front to back, and to pause and contemplate when a concept affects you. Feel the messages in your heart and keep the ones that resonate with you. Don’t complicate things; life is meant to be easy and simple. This book is also a workbook that can be used to document your journey of transformation. I included a notes page at the end of every chapter for you to write your thoughts and/or complete the exercises. Take your time; this is your journey of greater self-love, self-healing and self-knowledge. “A ready heart finds the path all by itself, and can keep to it without effort.”

With my deepest love, Gail

Introduction

This book is ‘food’ for the body, heart, mind and soul. It addresses all aspects of self – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual – so you may become healthy, beautiful, radiant, peaceful, balanced and joyful. It offers layers of information available to those who are ready to receive it according to their level of consciousness.

It is a diet book and you can lose weight quickly and effortlessly, you can heal your body with food medicine, you can discover foods to regenerate your body and you can look and feel young again. This book describes methods for clearing and maintaining your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies so you may master yourself. It can help you remember how to be and live from your heart and reach higher states of consciousness with the sustained emotion of joy. It guides you to enlightenment; you can discover Heaven on Earth and reach Oneness.

It is time to remember you are a spiritual being made of energy (light, color, sound and vibration) in a physical body having an experience on Earth and you are complete, perfect and whole.

I suggest you read this book slowly. Each word was selected for a reason, every sentence was carefully constructed that when read can reveal something special to you. It is no coincidence that you are reading these words. The universe is unfolding as it should; this is Divine Order. All of life is supporting you on your journey of transformation because you are deeply cared for and loved.

CHAPTER 1

Love Yourself

My ideas about nutrition are simple. It is about eating certain foods and fluids your body can optimally utilize to provide itself the energy it needs to function and be in a status of well-being. First, there is only one of you and that means there is only one individualized path that is right for you. The New Life Diet allows you the flexibility to plan your diet and eat what is right for you. Second, your body has been communicating with you about the foods it requires and desires. If you have been listening to and respecting your body, you would most likely be in relatively good health. And if you have been unaware and unobliging of your body’s needs, your body would most likely be in dis-ease.

This book offers you some tools to help you listen to your body and move away from dis-ease to well-being. It is about loving yourself on a deeper level, getting in touch with your Authentic Self and moving through your experiences feeling healthy, integrated and harmonious. Living in a healthy state, without dis-ease (illness), dis-order (complication) and dis-comfort (pain), is your birthright. The New Life Diet is part of a new way of living on Earth. Your life is meant to be joyous and you are meant to live fully in freedom from dis-ease (illness), dis-order (complication) and dis-comfort (pain). You are not meant to struggle. So rise above the old way of feeling, thinking and doing; take a step forward into your new life in your new body that is healthy, strong, beautiful, radiant and functions harmoniously in life with vitality, ease and flow.

This new life starts with loving and appreciating you because you are the most important person in your life and you are worth loving. Do you know what truly loving yourself and showing appreciation to your body means? To love you means to be easy, gentle, nurturing, accepting and forgiving. Loving yourself means to be responsible for creating the life you desire and to be balanced, happy and free. It means to follow your heart and that still small voice within. By doing so, your body will naturally return to its state of well-being and to its authentic weight and your life will become new and joyous. When was the last time you showed love and appreciation to your body (its systems, structures and organs) for their functions enable you to move and live and experience life? When was the last time you touched your body, massaged it, squeezed it, hugged it, moisturized it, pampered it, listened to it, communicated with it and sent it love and appreciation? Your body knows everything about you because every cell has memory that records all your experiences, emotions, behaviors, preferences and habits. Your body supports and loves you and is continually giving of itself to help you meet your desires. “True love is an energy that receives to give and gives to receive and yet it does not rely on this two way energy exchange.” Your body truly loves you and NOW is the time to truly love yourself.

Exercise No. 1

Sit comfortably; think and write down the ways in which you show yourself love and appreciation – physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. If you feel you neglect yourself, do something kind and loving NOW and every day. Hint: If you don’t know what to do, follow what excites you!

For example:

*
p<>{color:#000;}. I love and respect myself enough to perform 30 minutes of physical activity daily in nature. (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual)

*
p<>{color:#000;}. I care enough about my health and well-being to practice compassionate eating. I eat foods of the Earth, i.e. fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and other nutrient rich plant-based foods that are raw, natural or produced using organic farming methods or sustainable growing practices. (physical, emotional)

*
p<>{color:#000;}. I am responsible for myself and practice daily self-healing by clearing all negative emotions and thoughts and distorted beliefs (e.g. fear, lack, limitation, separation, worry, judgment and blame). I become centered and balanced, I trust all my needs are met, I find will and courage to follow my Authentic Self and I know that all is well. (emotional, mental, spiritual).

*
p<>{color:#000;}. I nurture my spiritual side and read articles that support my journey of greater self-knowledge and healing. I recently read an article regarding vaccinations, inoculations and ‘flu-shots’ and the incidence of autism spectrum disorders (ASD), attention deficit disorder (ADD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It is wonderful knowing there are non-invasive, alternative remedies to remove chemicals or toxins out of the body using specific crystals or energy healing. (mental, spiritual)

*
p<>{color:#000;}. I listen to and trust my body when I want to know if what I am doing is in alignment with my purpose and path of service. I feel good and am relaxed, centered and in the present moment when I am in alignment with my Authentic Self. And when I am not, I feel anxious. (spiritual)

*
p<>{color:#000;}. I demonstrate integrity, self-love and self-respect by being alone in order to maintain my peace, joy and freedom “when the company is not adequate or when the person at my side is a hindrance”. I am worthy of living joyously and in freedom! (emotional, spiritual)

CHAPTER 2

Live in Harmony

The foods you eat have a profound effect on your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. Foods from plants, i.e. fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, are meant to be a source of nourishment as well as pleasure. Animals are meant to be our companions and symbols in life; by observing their character they teach us about life and how to live by example.

There is a growing belief in the scientific community regarding a phenomenon known as cellular memory in which every cell in the body has intelligence and if you transfer cells from one body to another, the cells from the donor will carry memories into the recipient. In her memoirs, A Change of Heart, Claire Sylvia describes that after receiving a heart and lung transplant in 1988 she had unexplainable cravings for fried chicken, chicken nuggets and beer; there was a change in color preferences from bright or warm to cool colors; and she became more aggressive and confident like her donor.

The DNA of every cell in the body contains that being’s history, whether human or animal. When you eat food from animals you are taking into your body its memories, their emotional and mental history plus the history of the entire species. Take a few moments now and visualize the living conditions, the state of being, the manner in which they are treated, the health, emotions and behaviors of animals raised on farms to feed humans such as dairy cattle, beef cattle, pigs, meat chickens, egg-laying hens and fish.

Collectively these animals are removed from their mother, confined and raised in crates, pens, hutches and cages, kept indoors under continuous lighting or tethered to a stall. They are unable to groom themselves, move around, explore, interact socially or breathe clean air; they are dehorned, tail docked, teeth clipped, de-beaked, castrated, starved, electrically stunned, hung upside down in metal shackles or gassed. They develop edema, skeletal deformities of the feet, leg problems, infections, mastitis, ulcers, acidosis, poor healing wounds, liver disease, pneumonia and other health problems. They are injected with genetically modified hormones and steroids; given antibiotics, pesticides, additives and are fed diseased animal-based feed.

These unnatural and unhealthy living conditions and inhumane treatment cause these animals to become truly unfit for human consumption. Therefore, it is supremely important to learn about the foods you eat, farm-to-table, so you can make educated and compassionate purchasing choices that are in alignment with promoting your health and well-being, preventing disease, reversing and curing illnesses, protecting the environment and living in harmony with all of life everywhere.

CHAPTER 3

The New Way of Eating I

The New Life Diet supports the consumption of foods and fluids of the Earth, i.e. fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and other nutrient rich plant-based foods. It embraces the philosophy that there is infinite abundance and all our needs are provided for from the Earth. It embodies the message that all beings and all aspects of life are interconnected and the importance of being in appreciation. It empowers the individual to heal themselves and to create a new body that is healthy, beautiful and radiant. It is simply about love.

Life is meant to be easy and the instant you choose to move forward to be in harmony with all of life everywhere, your body will begin to heal itself and everything around you will flow to support your desires. Surrender all your concerns about this new way of eating and being. In this present moment “choose not to choose what you have chosen in the past, not to act like you have in the past” and step into this new energy that is of Peace, Love and Oneness. Start by saying out loud with conviction, “I command from this NOW moment that my body absorb all the vital energy and nutrients (vitamins, minerals and trace elements) and all other energies required to reach and maintain perfect physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health from ALL THAT IS (or Source or Great Spirit or Our Father).” Next, communicate your desired weight and say, “I command from this NOW moment that my body reach and maintain the desired weight of () lbs/kg.”

Your body will communicate to you the foods and fluids it needs to support these intentions. It is your obligation to be aware and respond to the simple, positive messages for your transformation. Notice the changes in your food choices, your portion sizes, your body weight and your energy levels! Remember, disease-disorder-discomfort cannot exist in the same cell with Peace-Love-Oneness!

General Guidelines for the New Life Diet

This is a new life and a new way of eating that offers an opportunity for you to love yourself on a deeper level than you have previously. This change will not happen overnight, so be disciplined and patient with you. The key to moving forward is your willingness to take the next step.

1. Eat Compassionately

Eat foods of the Earth, i.e. fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and other nutrient rich plant-based foods that are raw, natural or produced using organic farming methods or sustainable growing practices.

2. Eat Raw Plant-Based Foods

The definition of ‘raw’ is food in their most natural state or heated below 100.4˚F (38˚C), retaining its vital energy. Eating raw plant-based foods have been shown to reduce the risk of bladder, oral, pharyngeal, laryngeal, esophageal and gastric cancers. Individuals who adhere to this philosophy have low cholesterol and triglycerides and high levels of vitamin A and dietary carotenoids that protect against chronic diseases.

Raw plant-based foods are fruits (includes avocados and olives), vegetables, nuts, seeds (includes legumes and whole grains), sprouts (leafy, bean, grain, nuts, seeds), fermented foods (e.g. miso, kimchee, sauerkraut), edible seaweed or algae (e.g. spirulina, kelp, wakame, sea grapes, nori, hijiki, dulse, sea lettuce, kombu), edible mushrooms or fungi (shiitake, Cordyceps, enoki, mistakes, reishi), oils (cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, raw virgin coconut oil, raw coconut butter, chia oil, coconut butter, nut butters), herbs, spices, sweeteners (honey, nectar, Stevia), sweets (raw cacao nibs, dried fruits), bee pollen and fluids (water, fruit juices, vegetable juices, coconut water, teas).

3. Eat Natural Foods

According to the Food Marketing Institute (FMI), natural foods are minimally processed; free of synthetic preservatives; artificial sweeteners, colors, flavors and other artificial additives; hydrogenated oils; stabilizers; and emulsifiers.

4. Eat Organic Foods

These foods are grown without genetically modified organisms (GMOs), synthetic pesticides, synthetic or chemical fertilizers, sewage sludge-based or petroleum-based fertilizers, chemical food additives and irradiation.

5. Balance the Acid-Base in Your Diet

Diet influences the pH of urine. When the foods we eat are digested, they break down to an acid or alkaline end-product called ‘ash’. Most fruits and vegetables add alkaline ‘ash’ to the urine; while foods high in protein, sulphates (such as calcium sulphate used as a food additive and preservative in processed foods, as a calcium supplement in baked goods, as a chemical found in drinking water) and phosphates (generally found in meat and dairy) contribute acid ‘ash’ and are primarily responsible for the daily acid load.

The daily addition of acid must be buffered and excreted to maintain the acid-base balance. The body buffers acids in the extracellular and intracellular fluids and bone. Chronic acidosis can lead to bone disease, whereas, elimination of acid wastes in the urine puts a strain on the kidneys. By increasing the intake of alkaline ‘ash’ foods you can offset the daily acid load generated through diet and tissue metabolism.

Some alkaline ‘ash’ fruits are lemons, limes, grapes, blueberries, blackberries, oranges, grapefruit, figs, tangelos and mangoes (cranberries, prunes and plums are excluded as these contain benzoic and quinic acids and are excreted in the urine as hippuric acid). Alkaline ‘ash’ vegetables include spinach, collards, kale, Swiss chard, beets, greens, arugula, watercress, romaine, zucchini, cucumber, broccoli, Brussels sprout and bok choy. Some nuts that produce alkaline ‘ash’ are walnuts, pecans, almonds and pistachio (except peanuts and peanut butter). Alkaline ‘ash’ seeds include pumpkin seeds, squash seeds, amaranth, millet and quinoa (except lentils, corn and sunflower seeds). Other alkaline ‘ash’ foods include sprouts, edible seaweed, ginseng tea, lemon water, black strap molasses, apple cider vinegar and Stevia.

6. Use Clean Safe Drinking Water

Use clean safe water for drinking and cooking. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) drinking water contaminants include microorganisms (parasites, bacteria and viruses), water disinfectants (chlorine), water additives (fluoride), chemicals (lead, herbicides, termiticide and insecticides) and radionuclides. A water purifier can significantly reduce some of these contaminants.

Increase your intake of clean safe drinking water to about ten 8-oz glasses daily for adults. The kidneys need water to filter the blood by eliminating waste (mainly urea that is formed from the breakdown of protein metabolism, uric acid, creatinine, ammonia, acids, toxins, salts and drugs) and excess water from the body through urine. The circulatory system needs water to circulate blood and lymph and these systems transport nutrients, gases, hormones, blood cells and waste in the body. Water is needed for essential processes, regulates body temperature, aids in food digestion and helps lubricate joints.

In addition, you may use alkaline ‘ash’ water to help offset the daily acid load. A simple way to do this is to add an acidic component such as a couple drops of freshly squeezed lemon or lime to every 8-oz of water and drink between meals. (See Addendum for additional information on incorporating alkaline ‘ash’ and acid ‘ash’ water and food in your diet.)

7. Eat Consciously

Be mindful of and grateful to all the people who participated in bringing food to you, farm-to-table. Connect with the food’s vital energy and its nutrients (vitamins, minerals and trace elements), handle food with respect, prepare food with love and energize food before you eat simply by saying, “Please release and clear all negative energies and increase your vibration to the frequency of love, thank you”.

All beings and all aspects of life are interconnected. Each step forward affects this interconnecting web of life and influences another to enter into this new energy of Peace, Love and Oneness. You are that important! So continue loving yourself because love and will are needed to create this new way of being and becoming.

Exercise No. 2

After setting your intentions out loud with conviction, pay attention to what and how much you are eating and observe for changes in your body weight and energy level. Listen to your body and follow the messages. Learn to communicate with your body, ask “What shall I eat today?” and then feel what is needed or listen to that still small voice within. You are NOW communicating with your Authentic Self…have fun!

On the next page is a list of symptoms to help you understand the foods you should avoid and what your body needs. Also, determine if the symptoms are caused by overconsumption of foods. Remember, “You, as an individual, are the only authority of your truth.”

CHAPTER 4

Foods for Regeneration

There are certain foods that are healing and regenerative to the brain and the body. These foods contain antioxidants that clear free radicals, repair and heal damaged cells, prevent cell death and reduce or reverse symptoms of disease, disorder and discomfort. Other foods although not regenerative contain substances that detoxify or cleanse the body by acting as chelating agents, removing heavy metals such as lead, mercury and cadmium out of the body through the colon, kidney or liver. Lead is commonly found in contaminated paint, soil and dust; mercury exposure in the United States occurs through eating contaminated fish and shellfish; and cadmium is found in shellfish, liver, kidney meats and cigarette smoke. Removing these toxins or poisons out of the body is important to your health and well-being.

Antioxidants and chelating agents are an important consideration for creating a new, healthy body. Open your heart to this new information and feel if it resonates with you. Ask your Authentic Self if these foods are appropriate for your health at this time. If so, take the next step forward and include them in your new life diet.

Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) is an essential omega-3 fatty acid found in plants and can be converted to EPA and DHA in the body. Omega-3 fatty acids are important for normal brain growth, brain development, brain function and memory. It reduces blood clots, lowers the risk for heart disease, fatal heart attack and stroke, slows down and reverses atherosclerosis and lowers cholesterol, triglycerides and blood pressure. ALA reduces inflammation and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis (including joint pain and morning stiffness), improves lung function in some people with asthma, promotes bone health, decreases blood glucose levels after a meal and is used to treat certain cancers, COPD, dementia and depression. It can be found in flaxseeds, flaxseed oil, hemp seeds, hemp oil, canola (rapeseed) oil, soybeans, non-hydrogenated soybean oil, tofu, pumpkin seeds, pumpkin seed oil, perilla (mint), perilla seed oil, walnut and walnut oils.

Alpha-lipoic acid neutralizes free radicals in the brain and throughout the body, i.e. reduces cellular damage or death (antioxidant). It is used to break down carbohydrates and turn glucose into energy, regenerates other antioxidants (vitamins C, E and glutathione) and promotes the synthesis of glutathione within the body. It is used to treat nerve damage (including neuropathy), reduce symptoms of pain, tingling and prickling in the feet and legs, type 2 diabetes, dementia and stroke. As a cream it is used to treat skin damage related to aging and reduce fine lines from sun damage. It is produced in the body and available in plant food sources such as spinach, broccoli, yeast, yams, potatoes, tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, carrots, beets and rice bran.

Turmeric spice is the main ingredient in curry. It is a powerful antioxidant that prevents cell damage or cell death and enhances the synthesis of glutathione. It is a multifaceted anti-inflammatory agent and can be used to treat arthritis. It is effective for certain cancers, i.e. prostate, breast, skin, esophageal, colon and oral cancer. It is used in the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease having shown to block the formation of beta-amyloid. It is used in the treatment of digestive problems (such as indigestion, bloating and gas), infections, wounds, ulcerative colitis, depression and heart disease. It enhances recovery after brain trauma, preserves cognition and protects the brain from free radicals.

Vitamin E is a fat soluble antioxidant, is essential for healthy skin and important to the eyes and brain. High doses significantly decreased in-hospital mortality following a traumatic brain injury. It can enhance memory performance, maintain neuronal health and may help slow the rate of age-related mental decline. It is important for immunity, inhibits platelet aggregation and is used to treat heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, certain cancers, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. It is found in high amounts in wheat germ oil, sunflower seeds, almonds, vegetables oils (sunflower, safflower and corn) hazelnuts, peanuts, peanut butter, spinach and whole grains.

Vitamin C is an essential nutrient, a water-soluble crystalline compound, a cofactor in numerous enzymatic reactions, a natural antihistamine and considered a vital antioxidant in the brain. It is important for skin, bones, gums, connective tissue, immunity, wound healing and the absorption of iron. It is used to treat depression, heart disease, eye disease, infections, certain cancers (i.e. skin, cervical dysplasia and breast) and asthma and may be helpful for dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Huntingdon’s disease. It is found in citrus fruits, kiwi, papaya, mangoes, berries, watermelon, cantaloupe, red and green peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, broccoli, greens, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower and cabbage.

Chlorophyll is a green pigment in plants and algae used to absorb light from the sun. It is fat soluble and should be ingested with a small amount of edible fat (e.g. nut butters) or cooking oil (e.g. coconut, olive and canola) for absorption. It is a food colorant and chefs use it in foods and beverages. It has medicinal uses for odor (bad breath and reducing colostomy odor), constipation, wound healing, detoxification and treating the pancreas. It has antioxidant properties and is beneficial for treating colon cancer.

Chlorella is green algae, high in protein and other essential nutrients including EPA, an omega-3 fatty acid. It has the ability to bind with heavy metals (mercury, lead and cadmium) and is used for detoxification. It can reduce high blood pressure, prevent cancer, lower cholesterol, improve digestion, treat gastrointestinal disorders, accelerate wound healing and enhance immunity. It is also beneficial for healing from radiation treatment or exposure.

Spirulina is blue-green algae and considered to be a ‘super food’ or a ‘miracle food’ because they provide multiple disease-fighting nutrients. It is a source of complete protein containing all the essential amino acids and provides ALA, EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids. It is an excellent source of vitamins (i.e. vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B9, C, D and E), minerals and trace elements (e.g. iron and selenium). It also contains antioxidants and chlorophyll. It is an antihistamine, used to treat hay fever, allergic reactions, infections, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, arthritis and cancer. It improves physical performance and increases the growth of good bacteria such as L. acidophilus and other probiotics in the intestine. It is used to improve memory, boost immunity, aid in digestion and increase energy and metabolism.

Humic acid and Fulvic acid (fulvic acid is humic acid of lower molecular weight and higher oxygen content than other humic acids) is a compound found in soil and is produced from dead plant matter. It is an aggressive chelator that binds to heavy metals removing them from the blood (detoxifier). It is used as a powerful antioxidant, enhances mineral absorption, slows the aging process, supports the immune system (particularly from viral infections) and maintains healthy skin. This information is based on isolated research and testimony. Humic and fulvic acids can be found as dietary supplements in a powder based tablet form.

Selenium is an essential trace element found in the soil and plays a key role in metabolism. It produces antioxidant enzymes that protect cells from damage and may reduce the risk of prostate cancer. It is involved in reproduction, DNA synthesis, thyroid hormone metabolism and proper immune function. Plant food sources are Brazil nuts, walnuts, whole grains, Brewer’s yeast, sunflower seeds, garlic and wheat germ.

Resveratrol is an antioxidant found in the skin of red grapes, berries (e.g. blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and cranberries), purple grape juice, red wine and peanuts and extracted commercially from the roots of the Japanese Knotweed plant. There is little research in humans; however, resveratrol may prevent cancer, lower cholesterol and blood sugar levels, reduce the risk of heart disease, extend lifespan, induce cell cycle arrest to allow for DNA repair, reduce inflammation, boost memory and support eye health. It may play a role in preventing and treating Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases by reducing plaque formation in the brain and also exhibits antiviral properties.

[* Raw cacao or dark chocolate (70% cacao or greater) *] is a rich source of antioxidants. When consumed daily it can lower rates of heart disease and cancer, improve blood flow, reduce the risk of stroke, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, repair damaged skin and boosts the production of endorphins and serotonin which is known to improve mood. It has powerful anti-aging properties, may maintain healthy brain function, prevent cognitive decline and dementia and could have important implications for learning and memory. Researchers in one study suggest that you should eat at least 3.5 oz of dark chocolate with a minimum of 70% cacao daily to receive these health benefits. The darker, the better; raw cacao nibs are best.

In Part 2, The New Life Diet, I will expand on some concepts that were introduced in the earlier chapters and will present some new ones. In addition, I included a wonderful technique to connect with your Authentic Self on another level. Flow with what is being presented to you.

CHAPTER 5

Master Yourself

You are the master of your body and upon reading Chapter 3 you commanded your body to draw into itself “all the vital energy and nutrients (vitamins, minerals and trace elements) and all other energies required to reach and maintain perfect health from All That Is”. You are more than a physical body; you have an emotional body, a mental body and a spiritual body and these other bodies play an important role in your health and well-being.

When you feel peaceful, balanced and joyful and think from a higher perspective of understanding, truth and wisdom; when you see beauty in all beings and all aspects of life and know true love; when you trust all your needs are met and all is well; you draw into yourself vital energy from All That Is. On the other hand, lower states of consciousness prevent vital energy from entering your body and this can lead to disease, disorder and discomfort. These lower states of being include feelings of resentment, anger, hurt, sadness, despair, hopelessness, depression and fear; thoughts of worry, blame, judgment, doom and darkness; and distorted beliefs of lack, limitation and unworthiness.

It is your responsibility to master yourself, i.e. your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. One way to master yourself is to release and clear negative emotions, thoughts and beliefs. By doing so, you create space that allows vital and benevolent energies to enter into your being. These energies are healing and regenerative and can create a new, healthy body that is free of disease, disorder and discomfort. This transformation starts with love and will. If you are ready and willing to let go of the old, say the following out loud, slowly, with conviction, “I am NOW willing to rise above my past life. I ask the power of Grace, please release and clear all negative emotions, thoughts and beliefs from my being. I step forward into this new body in this new life in this new energy of Peace, Love and Oneness. Thank you.” And so it is.

Another way to master yourself is to prevent negative energies from entering you by being fully conscious in the present moment and see all experiences as positive and beneficial to your growth. Life is a precious gift; this change in perspective and awareness can offer you a different way of responding to life experiences as they occur. Life teaches you something about yourself; the most important of which is to love yourself and to accept, respect and value you. You are to build strength and courage, gain understanding and wisdom, express kindness and compassion, live in joy and bliss and perfect your character. Another key lesson in life is to love your neighbor. “Love is the Key and the Way.” As you move through your experiences in the NOW see the positive, learn the lessons and be in gratitude for the opportunity to grow. Positivity, optimism, trust and faith attract vitality, health and well-being.

CHAPTER 6

Food and Consciousness

The physical body requires food that complements your level of consciousness. When you are in a state of higher consciousness you receive vital energy through your emotional, mental and spiritual bodies and your physical body will require less energy from food. At these higher states of being and awareness you will naturally choose to eat foods of the Earth, i.e. fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and other nutrient rich plant-based foods.

What are the symptoms you feel or experience when you consume meat from animals such as beef cattle, pigs, meat chickens and fish? How about when you consume protein from egg whites, dairy, beans, peas, nuts, seaweed, marine algae, tofu, tempeh and textured vegetable protein; and when you eat fresh, soft, firm, blue-veined and processed cheeses? Typically, protein and fat from animals make you feel heavy, sluggish, full, uncomfortable and dark (i.e. not radiant) and add weight and density to your body, whereas, protein and fat eaten from plant-based food sources do not.

In general, when you eat protein and fat they provide stability, support, security and a sense of calm because there is a consciousness of fear, lack, limitation and separation. Examples of this less desirable state of consciousness are fear of losing a job or lack of abundance or limiting thoughts of not having talents and skills or the illusion of loneliness and are a result of not being grounded with the Earth. When you are not grounded you become unstable, off-centered and unbalanced and lower states of consciousness may surface depending on your connection to the Earth. But when grounded you feel supported, secure, settled, calm and present. You ground yourself by spending time with the Earth, i.e. animals, plants, minerals, earth, water, fire and air. Be outdoors for at least 30 minutes every day! You will learn to connect with Mother Earth and feel appreciation, see beauty and truth in all beings and all aspects of life. You will experience peace and harmony, feel love and compassion at the level of the heart and understand that all your material possessions are provided for from Mother Earth. You will trust that all your needs are met and all is well. Being grounded in nature is nourishment for the soul.

Once you are grounded in the Earth you need water to sustain your base or roots or foundation and it is analogous to your emotions or feelings. Water is fluid and it flows effortlessly finding the path of least resistance until it reaches stillness. In the same way, you have free will to choose your emotions in response to life experiences while reaching for peace, balance and joy. Water represents your needs, desires, passions, dreams and pleasures and is the motivating force behind will and courage that causes you to create your life. So, ask yourself what do you wish to create? Who do you want to become? Are you following what excites you? Are you living life joyously? What can you do to become better and wiser? How can you lift yourself to a higher level of consciousness? What makes you feel good? What are your talents or skills? How do you wish to experience this life? What are your dreams? In what ways can you help others and the Earth? Are you fulfilling your destiny?

How does your body respond when you eat whole grains such as brown rice, whole grain pasta, cereals, bread, popcorn, beans and peas? How do you feel after eating starchy vegetables such as corn, green peas, potato, yams, plantain and squash? These foods mostly contain carbohydrates and are a major source of energy for metabolism in the physical body. Carbohydrates are associated with ‘fuel’, ‘heat’ and ‘fire’. You need to use it, move it, ‘burn’ it, to take action; otherwise, the energy will be stored in your body as glycogen and body fat. Carbohydrates enable you to act on creating the life you desire because they provide the ‘fire’ that fuels will and courage. When you find will and courage and take action to follow what excites you or follow your Authentic Self or that still small voice within, these steps build your self-esteem, self-confidence, assertiveness and power. You feel happy, accomplished, empowered and worthy; and you gain knowledge, wisdom and strength. As you grow in character you heal, regenerate and transform yourself. You find will and courage by loving yourself, being disciplined and patient, and “…when your desire to move on exceeds your desire to hold on”, when you trust that “…the universe is unfolding as it should”, when you have a positive, optimistic outlook on life, when you stay grounded and connected to Mother Earth and when you are steadfast on being and becoming healthy, beautiful, radiant, peaceful, balanced and joyful. Remember, life is a gift and an opportunity to express you!

Vegetables are excellent sources of vital energy and nutrients and when consumed tend to make you feel light, healthy, radiant, harmonious and wholesome. The choice to eat vegetables and not animals brings you to the level of peace, love and compassion. These emotions are at the level of the heart the place in your being where you learn to integrate your experiences, discern your truth, polish your character and balance all aspects of you. As an individual of free will, you make choices in life to learn and grow. The experience of confronting and moving through these lessons or opportunities make you a stronger person; you build strength, courage, fortitude, patience, confidence and power. You also gain understanding and wisdom and develop your character. You now know what it takes to overcome a difficulty and can express kindness and compassion towards others. With this wisdom you elevate yourself to a higher level of consciousness that represents higher love and joy. You understand that life is just a game and everything becomes calm, still, simple, light and soft and you are free! You are coming into balance.

At this point you must feel pretty excited about eating fruits! Fruits are the purest food to consume because when ripe they fall to the ground and freely share their vital energy and nutrients with animals and humans. By eating ‘fruits’ (which in this context means fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and other nutrient rich plant-based food you do not ‘kill’) you are at the higher consciousness of sustained love and joy that leads to bliss. Fruits do not need to be heated prior to eating as some vegetables do and fit all the guidelines for eating in this new life. Fruits relate to your ability to express and extend yourself to others through listening, talking, singing, dancing, laughing, writing, painting, the use of sound and vibration and other forms of art. By expressing yourself joyously you attract vital and benevolent energies into your body as well as synchronicity and magic into your life! Stay in joy! Because the feeling or vibration of joy is higher than that of love and you attract circumstances, situations, opportunities, experiences, ideas, people and energies that are at the same level of your vibration. It is not a ‘law’, it just is.

CHAPTER 7

The New Way of Eating II

In Chapter 3 the rationale to eat more alkaline ‘ash’ foods and fluids to offset the daily acid load was presented. And now, the role of pH or acid-base in digestion is discussed for your consideration. The following practices have played an important role in longevity and youthfulness in spiritual cultures such as the Tibetan lamas and the ancient Aborigines in Australia. They are important to your health and well-being and are worth mentioning.

8. Eat ‘Carbs’ and Protein Separate

Carbohydrate and protein foods should not be eaten together at the same meal because they require different enzymes that work best in different pH mediums and they have different digestive processes. Carbohydrate digestion starts in the mouth with amylase, an enzyme present in saliva also known as ptyalin. Salivary amylase prefers an optimum condition of pH 6.7 and human body temperature of 98.6˚C (37˚C). It continues the digestive process until it reaches the stomach, then is inactivated when in contact with hydrochloric acid. Most digestion occurs in the small intestine where a number of enzymes (pancreatic amylase, maltase, sucrase, lactase and isomaltase) continue to breakdown carbohydrates to form glucose, galactose and fructose. All three monosaccharides require sodium for absorption; glucose and galactose is absorbed by active transport, however, fructose or the natural sugar found in fruits, vegetables, sugar cane and honey is easily absorbed by diffusion. Conversely, the first crucial step in protein digestion occurs in the stomach where the enzyme pepsinogen is activated to form pepsin in the presence of hydrochloric acid. Pepsin works best at a pH of 2.0 and human body temperature of 98.6˚F (37˚C). It is essential for breaking down collagen (the main component in connective tissue), while the other digestive enzymes have little or no effect on collagen. Protein digestion continues in the small intestine where other proteolytic enzymes (trypsin, chymotrypsin, carboxypeptidase and elastase) break down proteins to peptides and amino acids. These are absorbed through four distinct transport systems for neutral, acidic, alkaline (or base) amino acids and one for proline and hydroxyproline. To eat these foods together “interferes with the digestion of the other”, with the likelihood of leaving some food undigested and the body deficient of vital energy and nutrients. The body compensates by sending you a message to eat more food and you may also experience food cravings for simple sugars and/or foods with ‘empty calories’, i.e. foods that provide calories from sugar and/or fat and lack nutrients and fiber (e.g. cakes, cookies, pies, ice cream, pastries, donuts, sodas and sugared drinks). These unhealthy eating practices and extra foods and ‘empty calories’ contribute to dis-ease, dis-order and dis-comfort as well as aging and premature death.

In summary, this information illustrates the importance of (1) separating ‘carbs’ and proteins at meals (2) chewing carbohydrate foods thoroughly before swallowing for optimum digestion which allows you time to connect with the food; eating it consciously (3) eating fruits and vegetables for a quick supply of energy in the form of fructose (4) sprinkling a few grains of table salt on fruits and vegetables aiding their absorption into the body (5) not eating during acute illness as the body is not designed to digest food with elevated body temperatures (6) adding pancreatic enzymes as a supplement to your diet if you experience symptoms of heartburn or indigestion, while you transition into creating your new body and (7) avoiding the consumption of foods with ‘empty calories’.

9. Eat One Type of Food at a Meal

Consider eating foods from a single food group as a meal. Options include raw fruits or cooked fruits or raw vegetables or cooked vegetables or raw nuts and seeds or cooked nuts and seeds. There is a distinction between raw and cooked foods; when raw food is heat treated above 100.4˚F (38˚C) it destroys the vital energy and changes the chemistry, structure and quality of the food as well as the availability of certain nutrients.

10. Eat Raw Egg Yolk Daily

Raw egg yolk is very nutritious because it is meant to feed the developing embryo. It contains fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E and K), water soluble vitamins (B1, B2, B5, B6, B9 and B12), choline and minerals (calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, zinc and selenium). It has all the essential amino acids and essential fatty acids (omega-3 & -6 fatty acids), lecithin, cholesterol and carotenoids (lutein and zeaxanthin). These nutrients are essential for cell membranes, the brain and nervous system, the cardiovascular system, liver, skin, hair, nails and eyes. Eating one raw organic egg yolk daily is said to be revitalizing to the body and helpful for body regeneration, longevity and youthfulness. Use the intention in Chapter 3 (Section 7. Eat Consciously) to release and clear any negative energy including harmful microorganisms such as Salmonella from the raw organic egg yolk. Note: Pasteurized shell eggs are not considered ‘raw’ because they were heated to a temperature over 100.4˚F (38˚C). (See Addendum for Raw Oat Meal recipe that uses a raw egg yolk.)

11. Eat to Maximize Your Nourishment

The American Dietetic Association states that it is no longer necessary to combine foods with different amino acids to form a complete protein at the same meal because “Recent studies suggest that eating a good variety of plant-based protein throughout the day will provide all of the essential amino acids your body needs”. Keeping in mind that the new way of eating and being is to live joyously, to listen to your Authentic Self and to eat small portions of single food items when needed, the concept of combining foods to make complete proteins is presented for your consideration to maximize your nourishment when you do eat. Nuts have been a source of food, edible oils and animal feed in numerous ancient cultures such as the Native Americans, Aborigines in Australia, indigenous tribes in South America and Africa. They contain essential fatty acids, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber. When eaten raw, nuts retain their oils and antioxidants. A true nut is a dried fruit with usually one seed (e.g. walnut, pecan, beech nut, chestnut, hazelnut, breadnut, acorn, kola nut and palm nut). Other ‘nuts’ called culinary nuts are dry, edible fruits or seeds (e.g. almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, coconut, Jack nuts, Macadamia, pine nuts, pistachio and Gingko nuts). Seeds are small embryonic plants enclosed in a seed coat. Edible seeds are divided into several categories: legumes or beans (e.g. chickpeas, black eyed peas, kidney beans, lentils, peanuts, pigeon peas, pinto beans and soybeans), whole grains or cereals (barley, corn, millet, oats, rice, rye, spelt, wheat, wild rice, buckwheat, chia, flax and quinoa), nuts and other seeds (e.g. hemp seed, Jackfruit, pumpkin seed, sunflower seed and sesame seed). In general, legumes or beans (include peas and peanuts) are high in the amino acid lysine and low in tryptophan, methionine and cysteine amino acids; however, whole grains or cereals, nuts and seeds are low in lysine and high in tryptophan, methionine and cysteine. Combining foods from these categories provide all the essential amino acids that make a complete protein. Examples are shown below:

12. Be Aware of Microwaves and EM Fields

You become healthy, beautiful and radiant when your bodies are clear of all negative energies and you are filled with vital energy or love. To ensure your bodies are maintained at the high vibration of love you must: “choose not to choose what you have chosen in the past”; create new choices with regards to food, emotions, thoughts and beliefs that are in alignment with the Universal Principles of Peace, Love and Oneness; and be aware of detrimental energies that create discord in your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. These harmful energies are electromagnetic in nature and cause you to feel tired, scattered and unbalanced. In addition, you experience “emotional lows, depression, chronic fatigue syndrome, insomnia, migraines, weight gain, anxiety and panic disorders”. There are many sources of harmful electromagnetic fields (EMF) including cell phones, computers, wireless routers, televisions, cordless phones, other electronic devices and extended frequent air travel; however, our focus in this discussion is microwave ovens.

Microwave energies are radio waves and a form of electromagnetic radiation. Microwave ovens produce artificial microwave energies and they use very high levels or frequencies of this energy to heat foods and fluids. This artificial form of energy is produced from alternating current (AC), which means the flow of electric charge reverses direction, causing “billions of polarity reversal per second in every food molecule they hit”. Therefore, microwave ovens reverse the molecular polarity of the foods and fluids being heated and when consumed they negatively affect your digestion system as well as your emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. Exposure to high levels of artificial microwave energies from microwave ovens can lead to burns, the development of cataracts and brainwave disturbance, changes to nutrients (e.g. amino acids) and components of blood (e.g. decreased hemoglobin levels and lymphocytes), a decrease in the bioavailability of certain nutrients, the formation of toxic substances in food and fluids and the destruction of vital energy. In 1991, a woman named Norma Levitt had hip surgery and died from a simple blood transfusion when a nurse “warmed the blood for the transfusion in a microwave oven”. Foods and fluids heated in a microwave oven are unnatural, unhealthy and degenerative and contain added molecules and energies not normally present when heated using conventional cooking methods. It is supremely important that you stop using microwave ovens for foods and fluids!

13. Food for Thought

Eating and drinking is just one of many sources of nourishment and is meant to be a pleasurable experience. As you change in consciousness and transform your body by creating a new life filled with joy, synchronicity and magic, you will naturally eat less food and you will establish a new way of eating that is right for you. The definition of a meal as ‘food eaten at regular times during the day, as breakfast, lunch or dinner’ will change to reflect something new, such as, ‘small portions of single food items eaten when needed’. Gently move away from the old consensus reality…from the old ways and create a new way. Communicate with your body; ask and then feel what is right for you. Learn to trust your feelings as they are connected to your Authentic Self (or Higher Self or True Self or Essential Self); it is that part of you connected to All That Is (or Source or Great Spirit or Our Father). There is only One and Oneness.

CHAPTER 8

Contact Your Authentic Self

You create your life by being grounded and feeling secure which allows you to dream and want and these desires motivate you to move towards the new way of being and becoming so you may experience peace, balance and joy which then leads to synchronicity and magic. You are meant to be healthy, beautiful and radiant and to live life fully; joy is your birthright. You are not alone on this journey of transformation. You have access to your Authentic Self that part of you connected to All That Is (or Source or Great Spirit or Our Father) and who speaks to you using the traditional senses (i.e. hearing, sight, taste, smell and touch) plus your emotions, thoughts, intuition and instinct. It will serve you well to be centered and aligned with this higher aspect of yourself so that you may hear the messages either from within or through spoken words from others around you or the sounds of a musical recording or the song of a bird as it sings. This higher aspect of you communicates visually through the words in a book or the results from a search on the internet or numbers on the license plate of a car or your assigned hotel room number. Your Authentic Self is closely connected to your feelings. When you feel good and are expressing joy you are in alignment with All That Is and following your life’s plan. When something doesn’t feel good it’s a message to pause, assess and change the situation and/or your feelings. Once connected and accessed this innate guidance can drop into your mind inspiration, wisdom, insight and creative ideas as well as possible solutions to problems you may be facing. Your Authentic Self knows exactly what you are to experience in order for you to learn and grow and knows exactly who you should meet and at precisely the right time and under the perfect circumstance. It knows where to lead you and all you have to do is connect with your Authentic Self and follow your guidance 100%. It’s that simple and is the most important thing to do in this lifetime!

Included in this chapter is a tool you can use to connect with your Authentic Self (or Higher Self or True Self or Essential Self). This is in addition to using your senses, emotions, thoughts, intuition and instinct. It is based on the Universal Principle that you are more than a physical being; you are a spiritual being within, through and around your physical body. The more condensed part of your spiritual body is closest to your physical body and is between ¼” to 2 inches beyond the physical body. It is seen when outside in direct sunlight and the sun casts a long shadow on the ground (e.g. asphalt or concrete). Look at your ‘dark’ shadow which represents your physical body and then move around slowly paying attention to the area around your head, shoulders, arms and legs or parts of your body not covered by loose clothing or a hat. You will see a glow around your ‘dark’ shadow which I call your ‘light’ shadow. This ‘light’ shadow represents that part of your spiritual body closest to your physical body. And so, you are a spiritual being made up of light within, through and around your physical body. Please remember to feel these words in your heart. If they resonate with you at this time continue reading this chapter but if not, then simply move forward to Part 3, The New Way of Being.

My Authentic Self Communicates With Me Through My Senses, Emotions, Thoughts, Intuition and Instinct. These Messages are…

CONTACT YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF USING A PENDULUM

Your Authentic Self is higher aspects of you that knows all and can answer every question you can possibly conceive. You can communicate with your Authentic Self using a pendulum because your Authentic Self is within, through and around you and will move the pendulum according to the rules agreed upon to answer your questions.

What is a pendulum?

A simple gravity pendulum is a weight suspended from a pivot that can swing freely in all directions. This can be a chain with a weighted pendant (such as a necklace) or a thread with a stone or coin at the weighted end. You may purchase a dowsing pendulum from a metaphysical store or a retail store such as Amazon.com, Target.com and Sears.com.

How to set-up instructions with your Authentic Self?

Set up instructions with your Authentic Self by using your thoughts and intention. Tell your Authentic Self to move the pendulum clockwise for a “yes” response, counterclockwise for a “no” response and forward and backward for a “no answer” or “neutral” response. Or you can use another set of instructions to elicit the same answers, i.e. forward and backward means “yes”, side-to-side means “no” and center means “no answer” or “neutral”. Use the instructions that work best for you, the pendulum and your Authentic Self.

Which pendulum should you purchase?

You might be attracted to a certain pendulum but before you purchase it make certain the pendulum chooses you. Simply ask the pendulum if it wants to work with you? It will answer you according to the instructions you set up with your Authentic Self.

How to clear a pendulum?

Prior to purchasing your pendulum it was touched by many individuals and possibly used by others as well. The next step is to clear it. Say to the pendulum using your thoughts and intention, “Remove all programs and release and clear all negative energies that are not of love and not of light”.

How to program your pendulum?

Program your pendulum to answer your questions according to the same instructions you set up with your Authentic Self. Your pendulum must agree to the same instructions to ensure accuracy.

When to use a pendulum?

You can use a pendulum anytime and anywhere but ONLY when you are centered and aligned with your Authentic Self.

How to become centered and aligned?

In order to connect with this higher aspect of you, sit or stand comfortably, close your eyes and take 2-3 deep breathes focusing on the in-breath and out-breath and say to yourself (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies) “Bodies center and align.” Feel these bodies shifting and becoming centered and aligned as One.

What kinds of questions should I ask my Authentic Self?

Simply ask questions that relate to you. These are basic guidelines for using a pendulum, a tool to help you communicate with your Authentic Self or higher aspects of you. You can ask questions about the foods that are right for your body or to find the right path as you follow this new way of eating and being. Ask closed-ended questions that elicit a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer, be specific and have the intention that whatever you are asking is for your highest good and the highest good for all others everywhere. Examples of questions are shown below:

*
p<>{color:#000;}. “Does my body require food from animals?”

*
p<>{color:#000;}. “Do I need to drink alkaline ‘ash’ water?”

*
p<>{color:#000;}. “Do I need to eat spirulina?”

*
p<>{color:#000;}. “Does my body require detoxification?”

*
p<>{color:#000;}. “Is it in my highest good to eat this piece of cake?”

*
p<>{color:#000;}. “Are these cherries safe for me to eat?”

*
p<>{color:#000;}. “Should I include raw egg yolk in my diet?”

*
p<>{color:#000;}. “Does a microwave oven create toxins or poisons?”

*
p<>{color:#000;}. “Is it in my highest good to change my career?

*
p<>{color:#000;}. “Is it part of my life’s plan to attend this workshop?”

*
p<>{color:#000;}. “Should I visit with my family in New York?”

*
p<>{color:#000;}. “Is it my destiny to work with children?”

How to use your pendulum?

Hold the pendulum comfortably in front of you allowing it to hang between 3 to 5 inches from your thumb and pointing finger. Give it a little swing forward and backward to add momentum. Ask your question and look away at the side to allow the pendulum to move freely without the influence of your mind. In other words, do not steer at it or think the answer in your mind while your Authentic Self is in the process of moving the pendulum in the direction its wishes to answer you.

How to test your connection with your Authentic Self?

The first question to ask your Authentic Self is “Am I centered?” The second question is “Am I connected to my Authentic Self”? Should you get a “no” answer to any of these questions you must stop, become centered and ask these questions again. You need two ‘yes’ responses to proceed. The third and fourth questions are used to validate your connection to your Authentic Self. For instance, you know you ate an apple this morning so you ask your Authentic Self, “Did I eat a banana this morning?” and you receive “no” and then you ask “Did I have an apple this morning?” and the answer is “yes”. Both answers are correct and you may now proceed with your questions.

In Summary

In order to use a pendulum as a tool to communicate with your Authentic Self (1) the pendulum must be clear and programmed to follow your instructions (2) you must be centered and aligned with your Authentic Self before you ask questions and (3) validate your connection to your Authentic Self using practice questions. You must use your pendulum often to become confident with the answers you receive. Do remember it is a tool and your truest connection with your Authentic Self is your feelings. Trust your feelings.

Part 3

The New Way of Being

“Listen to your being. It is continuously giving you hints; it is a still, small voice. It does not shout at you, that is true. And if you are a little silent you will start feeling your way. Be the person you are.”

– Osho

“Today I am fortunate to have woken up. I am alive; I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste it. I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others, to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings.”

– Excerpt from ‘A Precious Human Life’
By His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama

“In absolute truth, I am you and you are me. My next door neighbor is really myself; the man I pass on the street is me; the most degraded criminal is really me, too.” We are all suns of Our Father; we are Gods too, on an adventure known as hu-manity.

– Emmet Fox

CHAPTER 9

Close Your Circles

The new way of being and becoming is about holding and living this new energy of Peace, Love and Oneness. These energies start to build when you close your circles with love. These circles represent you and your relationships with all beings and all aspects of life and are closed when there are no more holes…no wounds, no anger, no hurt, no blame and no judgment.

There are many ways to close your circles and return to perfection and wholeness, the easiest of which was introduced in Chapter 5, Master Yourself, using Will and Grace. It is not necessary for you to open the wound by remembering and reliving the experience. And it is not necessary for you to try to figure out how to move beyond the experience. All that is required of you is to be willing to let it go and say the invocation to Grace. Say the following slowly and with conviction, [_ “I am willing to release this memory _____ and/or these feelings _____. I ask God’s Grace to heal me NOW as I step forward into this new body in this new life in this new energy of Peace, Love and Oneness. Thank you.” And so it is. _]

The following story is the one that marked the start of my journey of transformation. My Authentic Self guided me to attend a workshop series, Become a Certified Medical Intuitive, facilitated by Nancy Anne Clark. Her name showed up as the number 1 search result on the internet yet she is relatively unknown in the United States. During the first workshop in the series I heard fifteen words that were repeated each day until they resonated with me and these words were: “The individuals who hurt you the most are the souls who love you the most.” To understand the depth of love a soul has for you in order to volunteer to create an experience that is hurtful and devastating for the purpose of your learning and growth is profoundly and undeniably life changing. There is no need for forgiveness; instead you experience understanding, wisdom, compassion, love and peace. One evening during that workshop, I went into meditation by becoming centered and aligned with my Authentic Self and called into my presence the soul of the person who ‘hurt’ me. I simply said, “Thank you for fulfilling your agreement with me. Our contract is now complete. I now close our circle with love.” Immediately upon my return home I saw this person and asked to speak with him. He approached me with slight hesitation and with tears in his eyes he quietly said, “You don’t have to say anything.” The circle was closed.

Since that time, I have shared those fifteen words with my clients and saw them transform right before my eyes. Remember, your life experiences are soul-to-soul agreements established through free will and these individuals agreed to do what you asked them to do for the purpose of your learning and growth because they love you deeply. These loved ones “who hurt you the most” are usually family members and if this is true for you, you must heal these wounds and close these circles with your family before you can attain the highest levels of consciousness for your personal transformation. And finally, you can communicate with anyone anywhere; we are inseparable parts of the Whole.

CHAPTER 10

Follow Your Joy

The emotion or vibration of appreciation or gratitude leads to the feeling of love which is followed by the feelings of joy, excitement and passion that when sustained is elevated to a higher love and a higher joy and you experience bliss, synchronicity and magic. Joy is expressing your Authentic Self (or Higher Self or True Self or Essential Self), which is that part of you connected to All That Is (or Source or Great Spirit or Our Father). Joy comes from within by becoming like a child; soft and playful, innocent and forgiving, uninhibited and fearless, fully connected and present in the NOW. Joy is expressed outwardly as in laughter and play, listening and talking, singing, dancing, painting and writing and also by telling a story, sharing a joke, decorating a room, cleaning, cooking or planting a garden. Following your joy means to do those things that you most enjoy or what really excites you or what you are most passionate about. Follow your desires, passions, dreams and pleasures and especially the simple, ordinary things in life that make you feel the most good. For example, when you look at all the options available to you in any given moment such as reading a book or shopping or meditating or playing with your children or going outdoors for a walk, choose the one activity you think would give you the most joy or excitement. Then do it and when it no longer brings you joy or excitement or passion, simply stop. Then look at all your options and choose the next activity you think would give you the most joy or excitement, and then do that. The feeling of joy is connected to your Authentic Self, so keep following your joy, excitement or passion and sustain it because the feeling of joy leads to bliss, synchronicity and magic!

When you follow your Authentic Self doing the things that give you the most joy or excitement or make you feel the most good, you are affecting the interconnecting web of life and influencing others to find and live their joy. The emotion of joy holds a special vibration that attracts vital, healing and regenerative energies from All That Is and helps “your body to unleash its own healing powers”. When you put your attention on your physical heart AND use your intention to go into the most sacred and holy place within; AND you feel love of self, love for Mother Earth and All That Is and love for all of life everywhere; AND create and sustain the vibration of joy; bliss happens. Being in a state of bliss can activate a special energy around you that is of crystalline golden light and from that moment on, life becomes synchronistic and magical. You will experience Heaven on Earth and you will have all that you desire. To live life fully and joyously is part of the new way of being and becoming.

CHAPTER 11

Be in Balance

One of the Universal Principles for personal transformation is Closing your Circles. Another part of returning to perfection and wholeness is coming into balance and the most important aspect to balance is your masculine and feminine energies. You do not possess one or the other nor do they exist outside of yourself such as in a partner or spouse. You are both masculine and feminine in nature and the qualities they represent must become balanced ‘within’ before you experience balance ‘without’. When you are balanced ‘within’ your vibration will naturally attract to you circumstances, situations, opportunities, experiences, ideas, people and energies that are also balanced. All of life everywhere seeks balance. This Universal Principle of Balance holds true when an individual has lack such as being impatient, aggressive or controlling and will naturally be attracted to others who are opposite in nature and who demonstrates patience, surrendering or allowing. It is not about “opposites attract” but rather it’s all about balance. You are to seek balance and not stay in lack because lack is not part of your True Nature (or Authentic Self or Higher Self or Essential Self) and being in balance moves you upwards to joy, bliss, synchronicity and magic! A balanced individual who partners with another balanced individual for romantic, business or practical relations experiences true love, joy and freedom. There is tremendous synchronicity and oneness. Their relationship becomes interdependent and is the highest form of a mature relationship. Accept and be responsible to yourself; become balanced and mature. Grow up!

To balance your masculine and feminine energies you need to evaluate who you are and then identify those qualities that need softening and those that need strengthening. This is a process that requires self-love, will and courage, discipline and patience. For example, if you identify yourself as being hard, aggressive, busy, rushing and doing (masculine) then you need to work on becoming soft, surrendering, calm, nurturing and being (feminine). In the same way, if you are described by others as being weak, easy-going and a follower (feminine), you need to develop your strength and assertiveness and you must learn to lead (masculine). There are other ways to assist yourself in balancing your personality and perfecting your character such as the use of ‘color therapy’ and ‘food therapy’. These do not replace your process of inner growth and maturity but instead are supplementary.

Masculine colors are reds and browns and feminine colors are blues, pinks and pastel shades. An individual who desires to soften their highly developed masculine energies can learn to integrate the feminine colors of blues, pinks and pastels in their life such as in clothing, room colors and décor. Likewise, an individual who needs to strengthen their feminine energies can add shades of reds and browns. ‘Food therapy’ is based on the premise that foods affect us in many different ways. Some foods make us feel happy, calm or light while other foods can cause us to feel depressed, irritable or heavy; and there are those that elicit either masculine or feminine qualities when consumed. Foods that bring out ‘masculine’ characteristics are peppers, tomatoes, onion, garlic, curry and meats; ‘feminine’ type foods are fruits, potato, chocolate, sweets and berries. It would be beneficial to observe your intake of these foods and balance your diet to help bring your masculine and feminine energies into alignment.

Coming into balance and returning to perfection and wholeness is naturally healing to your bodies and is an important aspect of your transformation; it is worth the effort. Balance leads to Divine Union, Sacred Marriage and Oneness.

The following list of descriptives is to help you identify who you are, so you may learn to bring your masculine and feminine energies into balance.

CHAPTER 12

Oneness

Oneness is closing your circle with yourself; it is coming back home; to know thyself. It is about attaining spiritual maturity. To be mature is “to be fully developed in body or mind, to bring to full development, to complete or perfect.” Oneness is returning to completion or perfection and wholeness. These are my truths from my journey coming back home to myself.

During my training to become a medical intuitive I learned about different modalities to heal myself and others using energy as light, color, sound and vibration. These are effective methods to treat dis-ease, dis-order and dis-comfort because we are spiritual beings made of energy (light, color, sound and vibration) in a physical body having an experience on Earth. During a healing session I work with my client’s energy field (i.e. their emotional, mental and spiritual bodies) releasing and clearing energy blockages, rebalancing and realigning the energy field and providing relief in the physical body. Energy healing is not limited to an office visit but can be performed for anyone anywhere by connecting with the web of life.  We are all interconnected and are inseparable parts of the Whole.

When I am centered and aligned with my Authentic Self such as in meditation, I can expand or reduce the size of my spiritual being so that Earth becomes the size of a marble or a grain of sand or I become the size of a ball. I can travel anywhere within my body such as in my heart, in and around Earth, the solar system, galaxy, universe or cosmos. In other altered states such as in dreamtime or between sleep and awake and in higher states of consciousness I can be in other dimensions and space and time realities. I am aware there are other beings of infinite light and infinite love; we are not alone and we are vast, multidimensional beings made of energy (light, color, sound and vibration) who exist in every energy band, in every octave leading back to Source (or All That Is or Great Spirit or Our Father).

Along my journey I have discovered that Mother Earth is a supremely powerful, intelligent, conscious being who supports, guides, protects and loves each of us unconditionally. She has a physical body as we do; she has an emotional body and feels as we do; she has a mental body and thinks as we do; and she is a spiritual being as we are. We chose to be here and experience life with Mother Earth and, therefore, we must be grateful and respectful to her for this opportunity. We are here to co-create with her, not hurt or destroy her. This great intelligence and love that exists within, through and around Mother Earth also exists in the animal, plant and mineral kingdoms, the elements, humanity and all of life everywhere. This intelligence and love is of Source; we are part of Source, we are Source and we are to live in Peace, in Love, as One.

As a spiritual being of infinite light, infinite love and great intelligence, we have the power to co-create our reality. The old way was using attention and intention with the mind but the new way of creating our new life on this new Earth is using attention and intention with the heart. We are to be love and create with love and all that we create will be for our highest good and the highest good for all others everywhere. We are blessed with talents and skills and are meant to use these gifts to create the life we desire and to be balanced, happy and free. We have direct access to Source through our Authentic Self and can ask for inspiration, wisdom, insight, creative ideas and possible solutions to problems we may be facing. We are responsible to ourselves and must act on the inspiration, wisdom, insight, creative ideas and possible solutions using will and courage and bring these ideas to fruition. This is co-creation. Life is a precious gift to be lived fully and joyously. We are to feel and be love, then move upward to joy and then to freedom. Freedom is higher than joy.

As I close this circle with myself I realize the circle expands and the process of knowing thyself continues. This expansion of self, as I step forward to Oneness, is moving away from the ego or ‘I’ to working as a group or ‘we’ with our soul purpose being that of service. We are here to assist Mother Earth and hu-manity to go to Light. We are, infinite light and infinite love.

CHAPTER 13

Hello, Life, I Welcome You.”

“Words really do not teach.

Your true knowledge comes from your own experience.

And while you will be a constant gatherer of experience and knowledge,

your life is not only about that – it is about fulfillment, satisfaction and joy.

Your life is about the continuing expression of who you truly are.”

Addendum

Raw Oat Meal Recipe

-- ¼ to ⅓ cup raw organic oat groats

-- ¼ cup clean alkaline water

-- 1 raw organic egg yolk

-- 1 tsp raw organic honey

Suggestions:

- If possible, it is best to use pasture raised organic eggs from a local farmer.

- Eat once daily or frequently during the week.

- Do not soak the oat groats overnight for easier chewing.

- Do not heat or cook the oat groats.

- Do not add lemon or an acid to the water because the enzymes that digest carbohydrates require an alkaline environment.

- Take your time to chew the oat groats before swallowing; allow 15-20 minutes to eat consciously.

- You may drink alkaline ‘ash’ water an hour before and/or after eating the raw oat groats.

Alkaline ‘Ash’ and Acid ‘Ash’

Most fruits and vegetables add alkaline ‘ash’ to the urine; while foods high in protein (e.g. animal meats and cheeses) and seeds (e.g. legumes and whole grains such as breads, cereals, pasta and rice) contribute acid ‘ash’. However, when consuming alkaline ‘ash’ or acid ‘ash’ water and food one must also consider the digestive processes in the body.

It is suggested you drink alkaline ‘ash’ water (e.g. lemon water) to supplement your dietary intake of fruits and vegetables when you need to balance your intake of acid ‘ash’ foods. It is best to drink alkaline ‘ash’ water (e.g. lemon water) on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before or after a meal or in the morning after waking or just before going to bed. It can be consumed with citrus fruits (e.g. lemons, limes, oranges, tangerines and grapefruit) and fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C (e.g. guavas, bell peppers, dark leafy greens, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, kiwis, papayas and strawberries). Alkaline ‘ash’ water (e.g. lemon water) may also be consumed with animal meats and cheeses to aid in their digestion in the stomach.

Do not drink acid ‘ash’ water (e.g. water from an alkaline ionizing water purification system or a mineral stone immersion system) or eat acid ‘ash’ foods (such as ‘carbs’) with high protein animal meats and cheeses because these foods eaten together “interferes with the digestion of the other” and can cause an upset stomach. Acid ‘ash’ water (i.e. alkaline water) can be consumed with nuts and seeds (e.g. legumes and whole grains). Refer to the table below for a quick overview of water and food and their effect on the pH of urine when combined.

If you consume a balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and other nutrient rich plant-based foods, then drink about two 8-oz glasses of clean safe alkaline ‘ash’ water (or lemon water) daily to offset the acid formed from tissue metabolism. Most importantly, listen to your body and do what feels good and right for you.

The NEW LIFE Diet: A New Way of Eating and Being - 'Food' for the Body, Heart, M

My book, The New Life Diet - A New Way of Eating and Being, describes mastering self, not only your physical body but also mastering your emotions, thoughts and reevaluating your beliefs to align with Universal truths. You are a spiritual being of energy; you are light, color, sound and vibration in a human physical body having experiences on Earth. You are a vast multi-dimensional being. You are eternal, you are goodness, and you are Divine. As a vast multi-dimensional spiritual being, the spiritual realms are far greater than the physical. Earth and this physical reality were created so that you, a Divine spark of the One, can have experiences to remember your Light. Creating your life on Earth allow you to choose, to act, to experience, to reflect, to gain understanding/knowledge/wisdom and help you develop/polish your character, to learn, to grow and start anew. Within your experiences are opportunities to exhibit these 9 powers. (See Chapter 6 and page 44 in my book). As you learn and grow and develop/polish your character that is of goodness, your Divine spark of Light will also grow and expand. In order to maintain your growing and expanding LIGHT you will need to "feed" your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies with right food, right emotions, right thoughts and right beliefs. Increasing your LIGHT and maintaining your LIGHT is an on-going daily practice and way of life. Those who become aware of the Light and work with the Light are called Light-Workers. I AM a Light-Worker and my book was written to help you become aware of the Light within you. The New Life Diet - A New Way of Eating and Being book was created from the highest spiritual realms. It is also of LIGHT that can be seen as a glow between the pages at the binding and it is of VIBRATION that is felt in the hands of those touching it. You are LIGHT and this Divine Light is LOVE.
