Jasper Davis was the most hated man in town and didn’t give a damn what anyone thought of him and he didn’t hesitate in starting a fight which the townspeople were too scared to cross him because of the horror within that he possessed.

Elections were around the corner for a new mayor.

“There’s not one better person to run this town than me, so I will run and win by a landslide,” laughed Jasper.

Jasper went door to door, but most doors were slammed in his face, but with regret, because he would kick the door down and tell them, “If you don’t vote for me, there will be hell to pay! I will burn your house to the ground and that’s a promise!”

As Jasper was doing his campaign house to house, a man yelled across the street, “I’m not afraid of you, Jasper Davis, you low life piece of crap!”

Jasper turned around, boiling inside like an erupting volcano and shouted, “You’ll regret what you just sad.”

Jasper marched across the neighbor’s yard and picked up a campaign sign out of the ground, walked up to the man that made threats and drove the wooden stake through his chest that was still attached to the sign. The man collapsed to the ground dead, and Jasper spat on him and said, “I guess this means you won’t be able to vote for me at the election?”

Then Jasper reached in the man’s back pocket and pulled out his wallet. He took his social security card and laughed, “Well, since I have your social security card, I can count your vote after all!”

The dead man’s wife ran out of the house screaming and knelt down crying over her husband’s body. She looked up at Jasper and shouted, “How could you!”

Jasper shouted back, “Go find yourself another husband! Besides, he’s probably worth more dead than alive.”

She cursed him up and down. Jasper pulled his gun out of his belt and told her to shut up, but she just kept screaming at him, so he shot her right between the eyes and walked off to continue his campaign. The police were called by another neighbor who was friends with the husband and wife.

The elderly man waved his cell phone in the air and said, “Jasper Davis, you can’t go around killing everyone in town and get away with it!”

Jasper replied, “Its lights out for you, old man!”

The old man turned his back on Jasper and as he placed his hand on the door knob, Jasper shot him in the back. The old man dropped to his knees saying a prayer and then another shot rang out, hitting him in the back of the head, ending his suffering.

Jasper Davis became the new mayor of this small town, but the town’s population was dwindling rapidly because Jasper thought the only way to settle a dispute was by use of deadly force. Jasper thought he was on top of the world but his new position as the mayor of this town was coming to a screeching halt because the townspeople were coming back from the dead to stop his reign of terror and get their town back.

As Jasper was taking a snooze at his desk in his office and time got by him, night time set in and there was a loud banging on his door. This startled him and he said, “Who could that be?”

Before Jasper could get out of his chair to answer the door, the door flung wide open and the dead townspeople came inside with campaign signs still attached to wood stakes and surrounded Jasper at his desk.

Jasper started firing shot after shot at the dead townspeople. He said, “I’m the mayor of this town and I command you all to go back to the cemetery where you belong!”

The townspeople took their signs and drove the stakes into his body, killing him instantly.

Looks like running a deadly campaign isn’t the best way to run a town, as Jasper found out in the end and with this crazy nut gone the townspeople can go back to the cemetery to rest in peace should anyone else come to this town and get the same crazy idea about running for office like Jasper did they too will get a campaign sign with a stake attached to it and drove straight through their heart and what a hell of a price to pay for running for office.
