Introduction

Over the course of years there have been lot of technological advancements. We cured diseases and saved lives. We also built weapons that took them. But, the most convenient advancement is in Media consumption. We can digitally store and re-watch all our TV shows. This allows us to watch our favorite characters go through their interesting lives at our ease. If you are anything like us, your favorite way of watching is to go through all the episodes continuously, usually without sleep or social contact.

To quote Peter Griffin from Family Guy:

The problem most people face while Binging their favorite TV show is that they can’t seem to plan their Binges and their Binge session are usually interrupted by “Life”. Even though we don’t face this problem (because we have screwed up priorities) we thought it best to give information about some of the popular TV shows so that you can better plan your Binges. As mentioned in our previous issues, we like charts so get ready to see a lot of charts.

Popular TV Shows

The TV Shows presented here are considered to some of the must-watch TV shows by the users of Reddit. Before you decide we missed your favorite TV show, check out the genre specific lists we created after this. If you still can’t find your favorite TV show then remember that we can’t just mention all the available TV shows (because reasons…). You can write to us at [email protected] and we will try to

Why both table and a chart you ask? Because WE like charts, that’s why!

Who oversaw the design process you ask? Does it look like we have someone overseeing stuff?

Well, moving on ….

Sci-Fi and Fantasy

Well, let’s move on to the Sci-Fi and Fantasy part. Here are some of the TV shows that are not mentioned in the list given above (or they might have, we never check these things)

Yeah, to watch all the episodes of Doctor Who you’d need more than 15 days. Let that sink in…. Don’t you have a new-found respect for Whovians now?

Drama

Finally! the genre that gave us ‘House of Cards’ and ‘Sherlock’. Remember How I mentioned that I wouldn’t repeat the shows that were already present in the ‘Popular’ list? Well, I lied..

If someone hasn’t started watching Sherlock or House of Cards, they should really start watching them. These shows are so good that we have included them twice in our lists.

Comedy

People say Laughter is the best medicine. These shows are important to us as we have personally binged all of them multiple times. While these might not be the best Sitcoms available, we definitely like them and can talk about them for hours together.

Okay, before you freak out that FRIENDS and Seinfeld are not included, let us tell you that it is by purpose. Everyone in the world has already binged these shows multiple times, so it is our duty to provide you with alternatives. We are NOT saying these shows are better than FRIENDS or Seinfeld, these are just alternatives you can consider.

Anime/Cartoons

I know, I know, you are furious at the fact that I put Anime and Cartoons in the same list. But in my defense, Shingeki No Kyogin’s new season is out and I really want to watch it. Also, I’m lazy and don’t want to create another list.
