Spookie the Chihuahua is based on Bub, our 2nd Chihuahua, who happened to be afraid of his own shadow. He was a little guy filled with personality. When I would come home at night I had to pick him up and he would lay on my shoulders and around my neck. He was a very affectionate Chihuahua but he did have his quirks, for example he refused to walk on grass- unless it was frozen. When she was 3 years old my niece came to live with us and Bub. I would tell Angie (my favorite Girl) stories on the way to school and home, or whenever we were together about the Adventures of Spookie the Chihuahua. It was actually one continuous story filled with cliff hangers at each stop, only to be picked up at the exact place in the story hours or sometimes days later. Spookie seemed to have the same problems fitting into a new family she did. Love really is greater than Fear. Readers always comment on how surprisingly entertaining this Story is for the entire family. Chihuahua owners appreciate the details “Known only to Chihuahua Parents” "This is my favorite book" Pastor Len shares “it is a story of Faith for all ages.” It easy to get emotionally involved in the climax, as Spookie finds out Who God made him to Be.
