Our fast-paced lives leave little time to contemplate and appreciate life and our surroundings. I wish to share experiences and to recapture images that readers may already possess. Occasionally, they are vents of frustration but mostly, they are light-hearted whimsical wonders of life that bring delight. Silent Thoughts isn’t just about poetry: it’s about finding a voice and using it to express one’s thoughts and experiences. Everyone has a voice, an opportunity to tell people what’s on their mind. Poetry is a good way for our voices to be heard. These are random thoughts I’ve scribbled over the years and wish to share those thoughts in words. Every word has a value. This collection explores different forms of poetry and entertains in a few words. Several of the poems have been published on international sites and magazines. Some of the poems are written in Tok Pisin, which is the lingua franca of Papua New Guinea. Read the poems slowly and savor the essence. Be they ordinary or remarkable, they are special in their simplicity. Thank you and happy reading.
