Conclusion
In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Master of the Day of Judgment.
It is you we worship, and upon you we call for help.
Guide us to the straight path.
The path of those you have blessed, not of those against whom there is anger,
Nor of those who are misguided
My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance]
And ease for me my task
And untie the knot from my tongue
That they may understand my speech.
Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so].
O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace.
There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern
For anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.
I ask my Lord Allah to accept my prayers to Prophet Muhammad.
I also ask him to assist me to accomplish this small humble task.
As always we are required to start all our activities with a prayer praising Allah;
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

Ayat Number 82 Chapter An-Nisa (The Women)
Then do they not reflect upon the Qur’an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction.
French Translation
Ne méditent-ils donc pas sur le Coran? S’il provenait d’un autre qu’Allah, ils y trouveraient certes maintes contradictions!
Ayat Number 53 Chapter Fussilat (Explained in Detail)
We will show them our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness
French Translation
Nous leur montrerons Nos signes dans l’univers et en eux-mêmes, jusqu’à ce qu’il leur devienne évident que c’est cela (le Coran), la Vérité. Ne suffit-il pas que ton Seigneur soit témoin de toute-chose?

Bachelor of Arts Degree from Al-Azhar University (Egypt-Cairo). Master of Arts Degree from International Institute of Khartoum for Arabic Language (Sudan-Khartoum)
Master of Philosophy from INALCO (France-Paris). Business Studies and Certifications in IT Engineering (UK-England)
I dedicate these few pages to my parents, my family, my wife and her family
And to all brothers and sisters who strive in the way of the Creator (Allah)
This booklet is not the course on The Theory of Evolution but we are trying to understand the Islamic perspective on this subject in order to eliminate the misconceptions regarding the meaning of evolution.
Several Ayaat in the Quran speaks about creation that he created heavens and earth and all that between them.
The below Ayat Allah mentions the purpose of our diversities.
***
Sahih International: O mankind, indeed we have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted. (49:13)
***
He also mentions our origin is from Adam and he was created from dust:
***
Sahih International: And certainly did we create man from an extract of clay. (23:12)
***
The Quran tells us that Adam and his wife were the father and mother of all human beings living on the Earth today. We know about this by way of direct revelation from God:
***
Sahih International: O mankind, fear you’re Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer. (4:1)

I have used throughout this booklet the name of God as Allah (As Allah has no gender or number as you can do with the word God), the word Ayat instead of Verse (Plural Ayaat) as Ayat (means signs) has deeper meaning than Verse. Before beginning with our research on this topic we will learn the theory of evolution and brief timeline on the history of evolution.
Evolutionist Perspective of Theory of Evolution
The Evolutionist believes that evolution means the process by which different kinds of living organism are believed to have developed from earlier forms during the history of the earth.
The basic idea behind the theory of evolution is that different species have developed over time from simple life forms. These simple life forms first developed more than three billion years ago (as the Earth is believed to be about 4.5 billion years old).
Evolution involves the change of characteristics of different populations over time, is the theory used to explain the massive diversity experienced on Earth. These changes occur with small mutations in genes, which are then passed onto offspring. Through natural selection, if the mutation gives some advantage, that individual survives to reproduce, and thus secures that change in the genetics of the population. The below list the changes occurred to the creatures from Archaeozoic to Cenozoic Era.
Archaeozoic Era
3,500,000,000 years ago
First Bacteria known as Prokaryotes
2,000,000,000 years ago
First Cells with organelles (Eukaryotes)
Proterozoic Era

First Fish
Paleozoic Era
450,000,000,000 years ago
First land plants and Fungi
390,000,000,000 years ago
First amphibians, insects and reptiles. Much of land surface covered in fern forests which will eventually become coal.
Mesozoic Era
250,000,000,000 years ago
First mass extinction of life forms (The Permian – Triassic Extinction)
220,000,000,000 years ago
Dinosaurs Evolve
200,000,000,000 years ago
First Mammals and Birds
130,000,000,000 years ago
First Flowering Plants
Cenozoic Era
65,000,000,000 years ago
Second mass extinction (Cretaceous-Tertiary Extinction) Dinosaurs die out.
45,000,000,000 years ago
First Modern mammals

First Hominids (Australopithecus)
200,000 years ago
First Homo sapiens and Neanderthals evolve
100,000 years ago
Human’s colonies all habitable land masses
20.000 years ago
Neanderthals die out leaving Homo sapiens as only species of humans
15,000 years ago
Agriculture begins
Charles Darwin (1809 – 1882
Charles Darwin is famous for his theory of evolution, but he was not the only person to develop such a theory.
Charles Darwin was an English naturalist. He studied variation in plants and animals during a five-year voyage around the world in the 19th century. He explained his ideas about evolution in a book called On the Origin of Species, which was published in 1859.
Darwin’s theory caused controversy among his contemporaries and his ideas were only gradually accepted, although some people still do not believe them today. The reasons for skepticism include:
Darwin’s theory conflicted with religious views that God had made all the animals and plants on Earth
Darwin did not have enough evidence at the time to convince many scientists
It took 50 years after Darwin’s theory was published to discover how inheritance and variation worked.
Jean-Baptiste Lamarck was a French scientist who developed an alternative theory of evolution at the beginning of the 19th century. His theory involved two ideas:
A characteristic which is used more and more by an organism becomes bigger and stronger, and one that is not used eventually disappears

This booklet is not the course on The Theory of Evolution but we are trying to understand the Islamic perspective on this subject in order to eliminate the misconceptions regarding the meaning of evolution. The Evolutionist believes that evolution means the process by which different kinds of living organism are believed to have developed from earlier forms during the history of the earth. The basic idea behind the theory of evolution is that different species have developed over time from simple life forms.Modern scientific discoveries reveal over and over again that the popular belief associating Darwinism with science is false. Scientific evidence refutes Darwinism comprehensively and reveals that the origin of our existence is not evolution but creation. Allah has created the universe, all living and non-living things. When we look further into this theory, we find that there is no such evolutionary mechanism. Neither natural selection nor mutations make any contribution at all to the transformation of different species into one another, and the claim that they do is completely unfounded.
