Jake is sixteen years old, and he has problem. No, he didn't grow fangs, wings, or get super powers... at least, he doesn't think so. He wakes suddenly in the middle of the night – alert, tense, all senses straining – for no apparent reason. Then he begins sleepwalking. He's conscious of what he's doing, yet he can't stop, and he can't wake up. Jake wonders if it's merely an adolescent phase. He desperately searches for answers. But when a war is waged to win over his allegiance, Jake may find that it's not just answers he desires. He wants control. In part one, the journey begins. Jake awakens aboard a ship on an ocean journey and finds a sinister surprise. But is it any more sinister than the perils of English class?
