My Home

Music and Lyrics by Fisal Ally, Copyright 2008-2011

My home, I remember this place I have grown

Walking in the park and throwing stones

Sometimes, it seems so far away

We’ve done our best to get this far

Now my memories are fading, They’re buried deep I know

Yesterday, it’s far away, its been so long

Since I’ve seen people places and things that captured my heart

Give me wings to fly back home

Give me strength to carry on

Windows of the past, thank you

I’m still walking in the park and throwing stones

Yesterday, it’s far away it is gone

We’re doing what we can to carry on

Now my memories are fading, They’re buried deep I know

My home, I remember this place I have grown

Walking in the park and throwing stones

Give me wings to fly back home

Give me strength to carry on

Windows of the past, thank you

I’m still walking in the park and throwing stones

Windows of the past

My home, Thank you

City that never sleeps (Manhattan/ New York City)

Music and Lyrics by Fisal Ally, Copyright 2008-2011

Listening to Jazz music, over the radio, in a café, checking out the scenes

A lady walking down Broadway, smoking a cigarette, a man in purple shades

Hey there, hello man, God bless ya, a preacher preaching in the train

Strolling down the Avenue of the Americas, pretty ladies everywhere

All the hustle and bustle in the big apple, Manhattan Island has got it all

People from everywhere around the world, everybody wanna see

City that never sleeps, where every wanna be

City that never sleeps, everybody gotta see

Take a trip down to Central Park, checking out strawberry fields

Let me take you down to 7th avenue, people shopping everywhere

Look up in the sky, the Empire state building, bridges run for miles and miles

What a sight to see, the statue of liberty, freedom in people’s eyes

Take a trip down to queens, graffiti on the streets

Spend the day at Jones Beach, with Tyler, Shane and Rose

Drove around New York City, with Tony, Saud and Steve

Your name can be in neon lights, in the city that rocks all night

City that rocks all night, everybody hanging out

City that’s alive all night, where everybody wanna be

City that rocks all night, everybody’s gotta see

City that rocks all night, where people never sleeps

In the City that never sleeps, that’s where everybody wanna be

City that never sleeps, everybody wanna see

City that never sleeps, where everybody wanna be

In the City that never sleeps, that’s where everybody wanna be

City that never sleeps, everybody wanna see

City that never sleeps, where everybody gotta see

Gia Carangi (the super model)

Music and Lyrics by Fisal Ally, Copyright 1990s

You had that spark and desire to shine

You made the scenes in the fashion magazines

You became a hero and a super model

From the cover of vogue to the cover of cosmo

You paint the stage, your picture on every page

Like paintings by Picaso, you’re perfect in every photo

Someone so beautiful and is in so much pain

You’re looking for love and living in a dream

Gia, I think I understand, Gia, I see it in your eyes

How lonely someone so beautiful can be

You’ll win it all or you’ll lose it all

There’s no in between for the fashion magazines

Your escape from reality couldn’t set you free

Did anybody listen to what she’s been trying to say

Gia, there has to be a better way, Gia, for easing all the pain

The fragrance of yellow roses made you feel so much better

And in the end, You cried a lonely tear

Someone so beautiful in so much pain

The fragrance of yellow roses made you feel so much better

Gia, You don’t have to run anymore

Heaven and Hell

Music and Lyrics by Fisal Ally, Copyright 2008-2011

I know there’s magic in this world, peace and harmony

When you tune in, it comes naturally, and it’s there in your heart

There’s paradise where the earth meets the sky, the beauty of sunrise

From the valleys to the mountain peaks, it’s the place I call home

There are secrets of heaven and earth, only he knows (reveals)

The time will come for every soul, when angels take us home

Sometimes I think it’s hell on earth, people can be so cruel

Warring and fighting for the riches on the earth, creating hell on earth

There are gardens beneath where river flows, and blue roses grow

Take me on your wings, where the symphony always play

There are fountains where clear water flows and heavenly eyes see

Where the snow melts in my hands, and beneath me river flows

There are secrets of heaven and earth, only he knows

The time will come for every soul, when angels take us home

Sometimes I think it’s hell on earth, people can be so cruel

Warring and fighting for the riches on the earth, creating hell on earth

Insensitive

Music and Lyrics by Fisal Ally, Copyright 1990s

Living my life just one day at a time

Days so long, nights so cold

Yesterday gone and I need you more now

Nights are cold, time slips away

You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone

The grass is always greener on the other side

Today I love you more than I did before

And tomorrow I won’t be insensitive

Time go by and the rain starts to fall

I close my eyes and I slip away

Insensitive, I’m sorry I was

I was insensitive I’m sorry I was

And tomorrow I won’t be insensitive

If you come back to me, things will be differently

I promise you my heart and I give you my soul

If you come back to me, I will be differently

I’ll give you all my love and we’ll never part

You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone

The grass is always greener on the other side

Today I love you more than I did before

And tomorrow I won’t be insensitive

Insensitive, I’m sorry I was

I was insensitive I’m sorry I was

And tomorrow I won’t be insensitive

And from now on I won’t be insensitive

Modern Day Gypsy

Music and Lyrics by Fisal Ally, Copyright 1990s

Hey! Hey! Hey! (Music) Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!

As I walked along the boardwalk, listen to what I said to her

I promise you, the earth, the moon and the sky

I promise you, a love that’ll last forever

If I ever play a part of a fool, and the stage I’m on is not the one you’re on

Believe in me, that’s all I ask of you

If you think I’m wrong and never right, see it my way, I’ll see it yours

Have faith in me, that’s all I ask of you

Before I let you know, how I feel about you

I think you aught to listen as my story unfolds

Before I die and go, I hope this gate will open

If I had some wings I would fly fly fly

I ah ah ah ahaa, ah ha ha ah ahhhhh (Music)

Then I held her hand in mine, as we listen to the ocean breeze

I’ll be your friend, you can be who you wanna be

I’ll roam with you, today, tomorrow and forever

(Music) Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!

If I ever play a joke on you, you should know that the joke is really on me

Have faith in me, that’s all I ask of you

Cause sometimes, I may act like a clown, cause I’m feeling down

Believe in me, that’s all I ask of you

Before I let you know how I feel about you

I think you aught to listen as my story unfolds

Before I die and go, oh oh oh oh, as I walk

Then I held her hand in mine, as we listen to the ocean breeze

I’ll be your friend, you can be who you wanna be

I’ll roam with you, today, tomorrow and forever

(Music) Hey! (Music) Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!

Nobody Wanna Say Goodbye

Music and Lyrics by Fisal Ally, Copyright 1990s

You’ve always been a part of my life, for oh so many years

You were there from the very start, since you were my sweet heart

When you said you’ll always stand by me, and I believed in you

The days go by and we wonder why, so many times we’ve disagreed

Now I see it in your eyes, now I see it in your smiles

Words just get in the way, some things are better left unsaid

Sometimes it’s better this way, nobody wants to be alone

Nobody wanna break a heart, but we’re gonna anyway

When we tried to compromise, we took it all for granted

Feelings just get in the way, where do we go from here

Sometimes it’s better this way, nobody wanna say goodbye

Nobody wanna break a heart, but we’re gonna anyway

Oooo don’t say, don’t say goodbye Please don’t say, don’t say goodbye

Sometimes that’s the way it is, the road has turned and we didn’t see

Caught up in the things we say, that’s just the way things are

I can see it in your eyes, how I feel it in my heart

Now I read between the lines, someone else is on you mind

Sometimes it’s better this way, nobody wanna say goodbye

Nobody wanna break a heart, but we’re gonna anyway

Sometimes it’s better this way, nobody wanna say goodbye

Nobody wanna break a heart, but we’re gonna in the end

Note: There’s a short and a long version of this song. The long version is approximately six minutes

Rain Go Away

Music and Lyrics by Fisal Ally, Copyright 1990s

Reminiscing bout school days and years gone by

Just imagine how dreams could make you cry

Rain go away come another day

Rain go away come another day

Moving on, in life there comes a time

I will survive, rainy days and thunder storms

Rain go away, come another day

Rain go away, come another day

Shine for me and make it easy

Shine for you, now take it easy

Harmonica

Moving on, in life there comes a time

I will survive, rainy days and thunder storms

Rain go away, go away

Rain go away, go away

Rain go away, go away

Rain go away, go away

Nananana nana na na na Nananana nana na na na

Hey hey hey hey hey hey Hey hey hey, hey!

Rain go away, come another day

Shine on you shine on, shine on you shine on

Shine on you shine on, shine on you shine on

Nananana nana na na na
Nananana nana na na na

Hey hey hey hey hey hey Hey hey hey, hey!

Reaching Out

Music and Lyrics by Fisal Ally, Copyright 1990s

Don’t give up the fight, don’t give up your rights to fight

Don’t live in fear, don’t live with hate, be happy

You are the champ, you’ll take the world by surprise

Dedication’s on your mind, you are the champ, you are the champ

Don’t live in the past, don’t drown yourself in sorrows

Live in the present, don’t know what tomorrow will bring

You are the one, you hold the keys to success, take sometime to check your heart

Reaching out, Reaching out

Reach out and touch you

When you need someone to hold you

You can count on me, I’ll be there, anytime indeed

Reach out and touch you

When you need someone to hold you

You can count on me

I’ll be there, anytime indeed

Don’t give up the fight, Don’t give up your rights to fight

Fight for your rights! Fight for your rights!

Raise your hand and raise some hell!

Fight for your rights! Fight for your rights!

Raise your hand and raise some hell

You are in control, take charge of your life

Make today a better day, share your strength with everyone

You are the one, you hold the keys in your heart

Dedication’s on your mind, you are the champ, you are the champ

I’ll reach out and touch you, When you need someone to hold you

You can count on me, I’ll be there, anytime indeed

Reach out and touch someone, When you need someone to hold you

You can count on me, I’ll be there, anytime indeed

Reach out and touch you, When you need someone to hold you

You can count on me, I’ll be there, anytime indeed

Reaching out, Reaching, Reach out, oh

When you need someone to hold you

You can count on me, I’ll be there, anytime indeed

Story of My Life (2010)

Music and Lyrics by Fisal Ally, Copyright 2010

I didn’t know until I reached the end of the road

The journey took me back to where I began

I’ve learned so much, now I understand
, I’ll never judge anyone again

I’ll tell you the Story of my life

I’ve followed my heart, I’ve chased my dreams

I’ve done everything I possibly could

Man I’ve struggled and I’m still empty and broke

On the road I’ve seen so much, hardships, sorrows and emptiness

It wasn’t easy, I’m telling you man

But I’ve tried, so I know I’m a winner inside

Happiness will come our way

We gotta reach deep down inside, it’s all in our hearts

And it’s really really really up to you

Nobody knows when the road will turn on them

It’s like waking from a dream, but it’s reality

My world collide with all my hopes

I used to dream bout leaving this place behind

Now I’m back walking around the same old lake

The birds, they still flock around

They whistle their tunes, while I sing my song

Now I appreciate those little things in life

Found a job and settled down

The world never stops, it turns and turns

Then one day, I got a lucky break

Then they took it, they took it all away

That’s the story of my life

I’m satisfied to be who and what I am

I’ve done my best, I’m telling you man

Cause at the end another journey begins

Now I know cause I’ve reached the end of the road

Nowhere to go but from where I began

Now I reach deep in my heart

I’ll never judge anyone again, I’ll never judge anyone again

And it’s really really really up to you,
And it’s really really really up to me

That’s the story of my life, Story of my life

Note: This song is an offshoot from Nobody Wanna Say Goodbye, and was written around 2008 to 2009 – the song is also sung with 4 reallys and 5 reallys…

Sunshine’s back again

Music and Lyrics by Fisal Ally, Copyright 2008-2011

Wake up to the sound of music, Wake up to the sunshine

Wake up to your love, Sunshine every day

Listen to the wind blow, listen to my heart sings

Listen to your heart, bring it on to me, Sunshine everyday

If you ever change your mind, I’m cold and empty inside

Now you’re gone, the sun won’t shine, it pours all day
I want my sunshine back again

The wind begins to blow, I can hear her voice say

Remember how things used to be, You were my sunshine everyday

If you every change your mind, I’m like a flower in the rain

Now you’re gone, the sun won’t shine, it pours all day

I still feel your kisses on my face, I want my sunshine back again

Then the wind begins to blow, I can hear her voice say

You were my sunshine everyday

If you every change your mind, I’ll be out walking in the rain

Love is a test, and not a game to play

The sun never dies, it just hides away

The fog will go away, a better day will come

How long must I wait, for a better day to come, and sunshine back again

I’m still waiting by the phone,
I still wish you the best (It’s not the end)

Cause the sunshine never dies

I think I can understand, it takes sometime

Sunshine only hides away, and I’m waiting for a brighter day

Then the phone starts to ring, I could hear your voice say

Now I understand, you want your sunshine back again

I thought I could change the world, but I needed your shoulder to lean on

Now I’m left busted and broke, my sunshine has died (so I thought)

But the sun just hides, to test your love for me

Then someone else came along and brought the sunshine back into my life

Now sunshine’s back again

Sunshine’s back again

The Birds Won’t Come My Way

Music and Lyrics by Fisal Ally, Copyright 1990s

I wanna walk on this earth every single day of my life

I wanna breathe the air that keeps me alive

I wanna taste the rain that’s falling up above my head

Don’t wanna look up cause the sky’s turning red

Cause every time I look at the sky and I see it turning grey

I keep wondering why the birds won’t come my way

I wanna feel the earth every single day beneath my feet

Don’t think it’s worth the pain and all the heat

Wanna travel this road feel the wind blowing in my face

I was wondering if I should cause there’s too much polluted waste

I wanna feel free to breathe the air any day or night

Someone stole the keys and I’m losing all my rights

Cause every time I look at the sky and I see it turning grey

I keep wondering why the birds won’t come my way

I wanna feel the earth every single day beneath my feet

Don’t think it’s worth the pain and all the heat

It’s us we’re doing all the damage

Cause you, you say we’re gonna manage

And us, we’re all gonna have to pay

Because the birds won’t come my way

It’s us we’re doing all the damage

Cause you, you say we’re gonna manage

And us, we’re all gonna have to pay

Because the birds won’t come my way

ABOUT FISAL ALLY

The Songwriter / Musician / Novelist / Writer

The author, Fisal Ally, hails from La Penitence, a district in Georgetown, Guyana, South America, and grew up in Canada. Over the years, Fisal has completed over 100 songs, where he had written the lyrics and composed most of the music. In the 1990s he had spent a lot of time recording his original songs as independent productions. He continued writing songs throughout the year. In 2008 to 2010, he had written some songs such as Story of my Life, Nobody Wanna Say Goodbye, and No Perfect Man.

Fisal also write books and his main writing project had taken him on a fifteen to sixteen year journey, researching and editing four novels from the Trilogy of Savitri’s Garden. The first and second novels of the trilogy are called “India to the Americas, 1838 (Part I and Part II). The third novel is called The Escape for True Love, and the fourth novel is called Rebellion and Reunion. Fisal has also completed some self-help motivational book, where sections of the book are presently in use by some. Fisal is also involved in small seminars, teaching and promoting the mind/body rejuvenating principles as outlined in the book. He had learned to meditate from Dr. Deepak Chopra many years ago during a three-day seminar and he still practices and teaches simple and easy meditation techniques. Fisal has a passion to learn about the universe and creation and has also written some books in this area, bringing his own philosophy and experiences into the book. He was also the founder and owner of a 40 page printed magazine called CARIWAVE, The Caribbean Magazine, where he was the graphics designer, main photographer, the main writer and promoter for the magazine; he also drew the cartoon strips. In 2016, Fisal has commenced his magazine journey again with Cariwave, but as an eMagazine, and a few months later, he began another eMagazine called DIVERSE CITY MAGAZINE.

Fisal’s writing days began as a teenager, in poetry and song writing. As a twelve year old in Toronto, he had pulled out his first guitar from a garbage bin; it was a red wooden guitar. He had learned to play the guitar a few years later, and also became the lead guitarist in his high school band with his good friends Jim and Dave who also played the guitar and also wrote some songs. Fisal enjoys the freedom as an independent songwriter and musician and continues to record and create CDs on a small scale. His songs can be found in relatives and friends’ homes across North America and other places. He plays lead, rhythm guitar and bass guitar, along with keyboards, some drums and harmonica. The style of songs he writes are rock n roll, country, folk, reggae, pop and of course love songs. In the past, he had also written the songs for a children’s CD with songs such as Bright Side. He had also written a Guyanese cultural children’s musical play, which was performed by a group of children in front of an audience. He had written two movie scripts and had attempted filming the movies, along with a comedy series. A half an hour comedy episode was quickly filmed with some of his friends, Pat, Miguel and himself as the actors. Fisal was also the cameraman, video editor, director and producer for these projects.

Fisal had graduated from Electronic Engineering Technology, and later graduated in Computer Systems (with honors), a total of 4 years at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). In the past, he had worked as a Computer Programmer and Analyst, and also in Computer Help Desk, Electronics & Telecommunications, and as a Quality Manager. He had work across Alberta and also in Toronto. As a Quality Manager implementing Quality Systems in Alberta, Canada, he was highly involved in creating training programs and carrying out the training in five locations across Alberta. He had traveled across Alberta implementing the ISO Quality System, which was an award winning Quality Management System and had won mainly or all of the awards for the company, as Fisal had led the project to timely and efficient success through his dedication and hard work. Fisal was also hired by NAIT around October 2010 to teach a weekend Quality Management course, filling in for the regular instructor when he was not available to teach. He had only taught one weekend session, but after that session, he was promoted.

Although many of Fisal’s songs and books were written in the 1990s, starting in the year 2011 and which continues today, Fisal began to notice catchy phrases such as hooks (melodies and lyrics) from his songs which are similar to the ones being used by famous singers without his consent, and also on TV commercials, and also ideas and lines from his books with slight modifications are also being used on TV shows and in movie(s) without his consent. It’s important to note that Fisal Ally does not give consent to use his work unless it’s done legally through his lawyer, witnesses and must also be in writing where it’s approved by himself, his lawyer and also with his witnesses. It’s important to note that songwriters do not often create words and phrases, but uses the same words and phrases that people uses, but it’s how and when these words and phrases are used is what’s important. Sometimes there are coincidences where a phrase and melody sounds the same, but when there are too many occurrences, then one must wonder why it’s happening.

As a hobby, Fisal spends some time in home renovations and does electrical wiring, some plumbing, painting, and building and repairing decks. Fisal plans to continue an enlightened journey as a writer, with many more books and songs to come. He enjoys being a life coach assisting others in fulfilling their life’s journey and explaining what the purpose and journey of life is all about. Fisal also goes by his middle name, Deen, and also by his English name, Brian, both given at birth, but he is known as Brian by his parents and relatives from the time of birth. In the past he had spelled his name as Fizal, Fyzal, Fysal, and also used alias such as Brian Allysen, along with other names for writing. Fisal had decided to use the spelling, Fisal, to show the correct “s” pronunciation of his name, instead of the “z” sound, which is incorrect. Due to the English looking name Brian Ally and Deen Ally where some people have mistaken the person behind these names to be an English Caucasian person which can be misleading at times, years later, he chose to use the name Fisal Ally for his books and music to identify his ethnicity.
