Little bird

Fly little bird,
where your voice can be heard
high in the sky
don’t let your wings hide
let it ride with the wind
let it dance while you sing!

Follow the clouds
Let your chirp be loud.
Little bird…
While the sun shines,
brighter than the golden lights
of joy you bring.
Until the night comes to take you away

To the moon, and back, so soon,

Watch the shining stars fall,
Stand tall on earth,
while you surf the blue sea

And enjoy the tropical breeze.

Yellow taxi

Yellow taxi…

You drive on
the black street
Beep and beep.
Don’t you know?
Time never stops
only you’re human
Customers get cross!
Yellow taxis’
Hide, bribe your feelings,
you might strike
When hikers ride bikes!
It is time you start
to live your life!

You dime customers
Mornings and nights!
Can you see spring?
Believe in wedding rings?
Sing with the wind?

Watch the time fly by?
With red bloodied eyes,
you strive to drive.
Not alone, maybe
One day…,

You will enjoy
a golden sunset
Rather than to destroy
the world’s bills.

Travelling suitcases

Out with the old,
In with the new,
Brown suitcases banned,
Only, purple, red or blue
From the inside,
Clothes, hoots and boots
To the outside,
Good looks; class, style, elegance
O, travel suitcases…
By far the best
Protection there is
With an unravelling code
Sharing many secrets
Along the way
All day your colours shine,
Bright in stranger’s eyes,
Humans drag you,
Brag about your material,

Take you on trips far away.

On the bus, plane even trains
O, travel suitcases…
Humans’ stain you with dust
Hand in hand
take you to another land,
Through the Kalahari Desert
To the tango dances,
and back to the
Beach sand.

2014

A New Year arrived
We approved the numbers
With fireworks
Joyful colours
Shining in our eyes
We wait for tomorrow
To arrive,
Drive to arrange
Decorations and sparkles
Of dust, love crushes,
Drink red, white wines
Dime our friends
Neighbours, enemy’s at last!
Count Green cash,
Why be so fast?
It’s only 2014.
Rather read a book,
Learn to kook,
Watch the stars
Or dance on table-bars.

The Sun shine

Sun shines
on my quiet mind
bedazzling my thoughts
blinding my sight

While I’m riding
on my white horse

Clouds are visible
in the blue skies
Wind blows my red hair
in many directions
Left, right, up and down,
even side by side

O, the sun shine
in my brown eyes
blowing, on my pretty face
if only?
I can hide…
My feelings and emotions

Glowing many colours
Light orange, dark yellow
at dawn, sun shine rises
Sooner than we expect
Going down a sunset
late during the day
That’s when the moon
Takes its place
In night skies
Visible stars always
Sparkle
Tears of joy.

Wickedness

So much drama
In our life’s
So much evil
We despise
Above all
Magic drive us
To madness,
Sadness
Worst is fortune
Being told
On tarot cards,
Crystal balls
And secret lines
With a twinkle
In their eyes
Bright, innocent
Nights become

Darker, scarier
Stars bigger, brighter
but wickedness
Remains in
Our scorpion minds,
Stings red eyes
stained with blood
like lust, desire
to crush the world
into colourless dust.

Lucky charms

Lucky charms,
They mean a lot
Any colour available
It’s like a rope we
Learn to knot
Ties in life with
That brightens earth
Makes us see
Everything bigger
Better than before
We ignore unlucky
Days and nights
In small china stores
Locked behind
Private sealed doors
Whether it’s a necklace,
Bracelet or ring
Even fortune cookies
All bring luck someday
Hooray! When it comes
tomorrow or today
knocks on wood
for protection against
some who shoot
Luck away.

Blood moon

31 days of nighttimes
Arrive with a
Stinging sensation
Unforgettable red
and dead moon

Greyish wolfs
Howls sinister with
Black crows
Cry in night skies
Wishing twilight hides

While, blood moon
brings, bad luck
on the human race
Will danger arise?
Their lives declined

Clouds become ruddy
with a tingling black
lining to sing love
Away from earth
Knowing moon curse.

Colours of Heaven

In seven rainbows
Language of angels

Azure in lining
Lilly pink

Lemon-green
Beauty to see

White cream pearls
and puffy clouds

On dusty dreams
does heaven sparkle?

Lost Thoughts

Written on paper
Light-blue, dark green
are sorrows hallow
like red mist, is
Fearless behaviour
in darkest hours
Drive mind to
never ending fear
negatively strange
is behaviour
Surrounded by
Fearless shadows
and twilight.

Going to prison

Thoughts lost
Fingers crossed
Mind bewildered
Eyes ashamed
And dazed
Feet slumber
Into prison
Cold, dark
Is shadows
Awaiting him
To count down
The days
Of misery
Emotions empty
Feelings hallow
Stuck in a
Lonely prison cell
Lives the hell.

Magic of marguerites

Young daisies, so bright
Yellow and white
Colours of rainbows
Pastel pinks and purples

Flowers so magical

Charmers, indigenous
Wild, but wonderful
Saw their seeds generously
and good colour mixers
Friendly, delightful
Goldie’s, Rosalind
Flowers heaven send

Marguerites grow
in rock gardens, containers
Flowers sparkles ruby red
Fairytale glisten the best.
