This short story is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places and incidents are the product of the author’s imagination and are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual events and persons are coincidental.
We only have moments. Fragile and breakable moments, disappearing and fading with borrowed time. And the harder you try to keep them, the farther away they seem. When I close my eyes…it’s then I wonder if this was all simply a dream.
Imagine a world separate from reality and you find a temporary escape. A moment of freedom before the waves of truth begin to settle in. If you lose sight of your hope, life becomes a game you have already lost before you can ever truly win.
Take your limits to the very end, push beyond every boundary and space. For living in fear will only have one binding fate.
And when it all becomes too much. When the walls of doubt leave behind just darkness.
Know that a new dream is on the horizon, lying just beyond the stars.
When you believe in yourself long enough, hope is never too far.
I close my eyes because I know I’ll find you there.
I know I will find you there.
And life is just a throw of the dice…unless you catch your breath. Just a moment long enough to escape. Through tears, laughter, pain, joy, we fill the pages of our own hearts.
We live in two worlds.
One we accept as real, believable and possible.
And the other…
The other world we create with the beauty of our whispered dreams, passions, and hopes.
It is the one we are so completely convinced can’t, and won’t ever exist.
Because the mind will only take us so far.
And the heart is tied to both fear and love.
Endless paths lay ahead, each one connected to a destiny we choose for ourselves.
There is only time.
Time enough to escape into the kind of world we long more than anything to be in.
Letter to Reader,
It has always been my sincere dream to write and share my words with the entire world. Thank you for reading and for being my inspiration to chase after my own dreams.
I wanted to thank everyone for their understanding and support. After a rather long delay in writing, I hope to begin publishing regularly again. I hope the very best for everyone and I’ll be writing more soon. I’m currently working on my website, so I plan to have it up soon as well! All my love,
