Deep wounds define your countenance.

Why the hollow eyes? Why that “lifeless” smile?

I fear tis’ guilt that turns our gaze elsewhere!

Humanity: An Alien Perspective

My poetry explores social issues. This includes issues and factors contributing to social disharmony and war. I also reflect on issues of the self... What defines us as individuals and the inherent interconnectedness of humans as a species. My goal was to approach these things from the viewpoint of a bystander who does not belong to humanity and so is completely neutral with relation to any particular ethnic group. That is, my poetry attempts to sketch an understanding of humanity as a whole rather than focusing on any one specific culture.
