Chapter 1 – Crockpot Recipes

Why do you need Crockpot recipes? I have got many reasons but for now, let me stick with only a few of them.

Crockpot meals are tasty and healthy at the same time. Another thing you can know is that it is something new which breaks our monotonous life and introduces something new. I am not going to lecture about the benefits of Crockpot, you’re smart enough!! Trust me. So, without further delay lets take a look at these awesome recipes.

Legendary Beef Stew

What you need:

• 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

• One lb beef chunks

• Three tablespoon entire-purpose flour

• 1 bay leaf

• One garlic clove, crushed

• Half tsp of dried thyme

• 3 cups of beef stock (low sodium)

• Two tbsps of light brown sugar

• One cup fresh green beans, now cut within bite-sized pieces

• Two carrots, medium, peeled then sliced thinly

• 2 large potatoes, sliced into chunks (approximately ½-inch)

• 1/2 of a small rutabaga, peeled and diced (makes about 1 to 1 half cups)

• ¾ tsp salt

• One onion, large, halved and then sliced thinly

• Two teaspoon tomato paste

• Pepper (to taste)

Steps:

1) Place all ingredients except for the tomato paste and flour in the slow cooker. Whisk all the items to make sure that everything is blended well.

2) Put the lid on the slow cooker. For low setting, the stew can be cooked for eight hours. On high setting, the stew will cook for 5 hours. The beef should be tender, and the potatoes are fork tender.

3) Stir the mixture 1 to 2 times as it cooks.

4) Thirty two minutes before serving the stew, take few broth and put it in a small mixing bowl.

AMAZING CARAMEL ROLLS (PARTLY HOMEMADE VERSION)

Ingredients:

• 1 packet of cinnamon rolls

• Half cup brown sugar

• 4 tbsps. butter

Instructions:

1. Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray and keep aside.

2. Melt butter in a saucepan and combine brown sugar to make a thick paste. Cook for 6 minutes to make the caramel sauce.

3. Put the cinnamon rolls into the slow cooker and then pour the caramel sauce over the rolls.

4. Cook on high setting for 1 hour and serve.

yield: 8

Time taken: 1 hour fifteen minutes

Superb Italian Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

• 1 c. pepper tea

• One cup red wine

• Half cup olive oil

• One c. with dried oregano

• Four cloves garlic, minced

• 14 cups canned plum tomatoes, coarsely chopped, with juice

• One c. Tea crushed red pepper

• Two c. Tablespoons dried parsley

• Dried basil tea

• Two c. Salt tea

Preparation

1. Place tomatoes and their juice, parsley, wine, olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, basil and pepper in the crock.

2. Cover and cook at low temperature of 9 hours, or may be high temperature of five hours, till sauce is hot and bubbly.

3. now serve over hot pasta and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

Ready in seven hour 45 min.

Hot Vegan Chili

What you need

• 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed

• 1 1/2 green bell pepper, diced

• 1 onion, finely chopped

• One cup frozen corn kernels

• Two packages Veggie Ground (original) Yves Veggie

• One can red kidney beans drained and rinsed

• 1 c. Tea ground cumin

• 2 carrots, peeled and diced

• One tomato sauce box

• Two stalks celery, diced

• 2 garlic cloves, finely shredded

• One c. with dried oregano

• One c. Tea chili

• One can diced tomatoes

• Salt and pepper to taste

• Basmati rice to accompany

Preparation

1. First of all you should combine all the ingredients and mix lightly.

2. Cover and cooking on low for 7 hours or may be on high heat for 4 hours.

3. Serve with basmati rice if desired.

Preparation time- Six hours & twenty minutes

EASY APPLE GRANOLA

Ingredients:

Two cups of gluten-free granola

Four apples (sliced and peeled)

One tsp cinnamon

Two tbsps. Liquid coconut oil

¼ cup honey

Instructions:

1. Grease the crock pot with cooking spray and place the apple pieces in it.

2. Mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl and sprinkle them with the apple slices.

3. Cover the cooker and cook on low setting for 8 hours.

Yield: 2

Time taken: Eight hrs. and 15 minutes

AWESOME CROCK POT BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

Ingredients

• 1 lb. bacon

• 12 eggs

• 30 oz. icy hash brown potatoes

• 1/2 red bell pepper, diced

• 1/2 medium green bell pepper, diced

• One medium onion, diced

• Eight oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

• One cup milk

Instructions

1. Dice the bacon to small pieces.

The order in which things go in is:

2. Half the potatoes go in first

3. Half the bacon following

4. Half the onion succeeding that

5. Then ½ the peppers following (both red and green)

6. ½ the cheese following that

7. The other half of the potatoes

8. The other half of the bacon

9. The other 1/2 of the onion

10. The other half of the peppers

11. The other half of the cheese.

12. In a medium sized bowl beat eggs and milk together.

13. Now pour egg mixture over your casserole.

14. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the ingredients.

15. Cook for four hours on high/for 8 hours on low

Servings: Eight

Prep time: Fifteen minutes

Cooking time: 4 hours on high/for 8 hours on low

FANTASTIC FRUITY NUTTY CASSEROLE

Ingredients:

For casserole:

• Two tbsps. Butter

• ¼ cup granulated sugar

• One loaf of French bread (cut into

• 1 inch cubes)

• 2 cups 1/2-n-1/2 (mixture of light cream and whole milk)

• 1 tbsp. vanilla

• three eggs

• ¼ cup packed brown sugar

• 1 cup pecans (coarsely shredded)

• 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

• Half cup whipping cream

For caramel-banana sauce:

• 2 tbsps. Light colored corn syrup

• 1/2 cup butter

• ¾ cup packed brown sugar

• 1 banana

• 1 tsp vanilla

• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

How to prepare:

1. Make the caramel banana sauce by mixing the brown sugar with cream, butter and corn syrup and heat them up in a pan. Bring the mixture to boil while whisking occasionally and then reduce the heat. Cook for 3 minutes by covering the pan.

2. Now pour in distinct pan, cover it and put it in the fridge to chill.

3. Make the crockpot ready by lining it with a disposable cooker liner and then keep the oven ready by preheating at 303 degrees.

4. Place the bread cubes on a baking sheet and bake for 18 minutes making sure that they are golden in color.

5. Then put the bread cubes in crockpot.

6. Stir the eggs with half-n-half granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla in a bowl and pour the mixture above the bread cubes in the pot.

7. Use a pastry blender to cut the butter and blend with brown sugar till the butter is sliced into the size of peas and mix with the pecans.

8. After everything is done, top this mixture over the bread mixture in the pot.

9. Yield: 8

10. Time taken: 5 hours & 50 minutes

COOL POTATO AND SAUSAGE CASSEROLE

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup milk

• Half pound. ground sausage (browned and drained)

• Six eggs

• Salt and pepper

• One cup cheddar cheese (shredded)

• One lb. frozen hash browns

• Half cup salsa

Method of Preparation:

1. Coat the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.

2. Beat the eggs in a bowl and then add the milk along with pepper and salt.

3. Now pour the mixture within the cooker and add the sausage along with hash browns, cheese and salsa.

4. Cover the pot and cook on low setting for 6 hours, making sure that the eggs and potatoes are cooked properly.

Yield: six

Time taken: Six hours and five minutes

MIND BLOWING WHIPPED UP CHOCOLATE COFFEE

What you need:

• 1 tsp sugar3

• 1 Tbsp chocolate syrup

• 1/3 cups of heavy whipping cream

• ¼ cups of crème de cacao

• 3 cups of strong coffee

Directions:

1. The coffee goes within the Crockpot first. Combine and mix the chocolate syrup and sugar.

2. Cook for 2 hour & thirtytwo minutes on low.

3. Stir in the whipping cream and crème de cacao.

4. Cook for another 32 minutes on low.

Serves: four

Preparation time: 15 minutes

cook time: three hours on low

Refreshing Boneless Turkey with Lemon Pepper and Garlic

What you need

• Salt and pepper

• Two tbsp olive oil

• One cup dry white wine

• 4 cloves garlic

• Two tbsp chopped parsley

• Two pounds boneless turkey thighs

• One cup chicken broth

Preparation

1. Season turkey with salt and pepper.

2. Heaten up olive oil in a pan above high medium heat.

3. Now you should add turkey thighs.

4. Brown for approximately twelve minutes.

5. Move turkey in slow cooker.

6. Combine left ingredients.

7. Cook on high heat for 5 hours.

8. Withdraw garlic cloves from pot.

9. Mash a few and return to the slow cooker.

10. Serve turkey with juices.

Simple Chicken Broth with Cooked Ham and Parmesan Cheese

What you need

• 5 boneless skinless chicken breast halves

• 5 thin slices fully cooked ham

• 5 slices Swiss cheese

• 1/2 to one tsp. paprika

• Half cup grated Parmesan cheese

• 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

• Two can condensed cream of chicken soup

• 1 to 2 tsp dried leaf thyme

• One cup chicken broth

• Sliced fresh parsley or may be chives

• 1/2 to 1 teaspoon. pepper

• 1/3 cup all-purpose flour

Preparation

1. Place each chicken breast between pieces of plastic wrap.

2. Pound gently and flatten chicken evenly to thickness.

3. Put 2 slice each of the ham and cheese on each breast.

4. Roll up chicken.

5. Tuck in ends and secure with toothpicks.

6. Combine the flour, thyme, Parmesan cheese, paprika and pepper.

7. Coat chicken on entire sides.

8. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.

9. Brown chicken on all sides in hot oil over medium low heat.

10. Then transfer to a slow cooker.

11. Combine soup and the chicken broth together.

12. Pour chicken over it.

13. Cover and cooking on low heat for approximately seven hours.

Delicious Chicken Breasts with Rosemary and Lemon Juice

What you need

• 1/2 to 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

• 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts

• 2 to 3 tbsp. vegetable oil

• 1/3 teaspoon salt

• Half to 1 teaspoon pepper

• Two garlic clove

• 1 c. lemon juice

Preparation

1. Place lemon juice, rosemary, oil, garlic, salt and pepper in a food processor.

2. Now you should add chicken.

3. Close bag and marinate in refrigerator for 3 hours.

4. Place chicken in the slow cooker.

5. Pour marinade above.

6. Cover and cook on low heat for 8 hours.

7. Combine frozen broccoli and carrots in the last hour of cooking.

Great Chicken Cassoulet in Virgin Olive Oil

What you need

• Six boneless skinless chicken thighs

• 1/3 tsp black pepper

• Two to 3 tablespoons tomato paste

• 1 tablespoons water

• Three large onion

• Two to three tbsps sliced fresh parsley

• Two to 3 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

• 2 cans great northern beans

• 1/3 tsp dried thyme leaves

• Half pound cooked smoked sausage

• Two cloves garlic

Preparation

1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

2. Now you should add onion to heat oil and cook for about six minutes.

3. Whisk in chicken, thyme, sausage, garlic, and pepper.

4. Cook approximately for 12 minutes.

5. Stir in tomato paste and water.

6. Then transfer to slow cooker.

7. Whisk great northern beans into the chicken mixture.

8. Cover and cook on low heat for 4 to 5 hours.

9. Sprinkle the sliced parsley above cassoulet.

Simple Honey Chicken Breasts

Ingredients

• 6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves

• Half cup honey

• 1 cup Dijon mustard

Preparation

1. Place chicken in pot.

2. Blend mustard and honey and pour over chicken.

3. Cook on high heat for two to three hours.

4. Adjust time for bone-in chicken.

Stunning Cranberry Sauce

What you need

• 2 turkey breast

• Two can cranberry sauce

• 2 envelope Lipton onion soup blend

Preparation

1. Place the turkey in the Crock Pot.

2. Blend together cranberry sauce and soup blend and now pour over turkey.

3. Cook on high heat for 3 hours.

4. Then on low heat for 6 to 7 hours.

Amazing Dumpling Chicken with Hungarian paprika

Ingredients

• 2 to three tbsp. sweet Hungarian paprika

• Six ounces sour cream

• 2 tbsp. corn-starch or may be flour

• Two cup entire-purpose flour

• One cup sliced onion

• Half to one tsp. salt

• 2 cup chicken broth

• 1/3 to 1/2 teaspoon. black pepper

• Four boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

Dumplings

• Four large eggs

• One cup water

Preparation

1. First of all you should add onions to slow cooker.

2. Then you should add seasonings, chicken and chicken broth.

3. Cover and cook on low heat for 4 to 5 hours.

4. Add the sour cream and corn-starch in a bowl.

5. Whisk into slow cooker and heat through.

6. Taste and adjust seasonings.

7. Now serve with dumplings.

Dumplings

1. Crush eggs.

2. Add water and flour.

3. Crush with spoon till smooth.

4. Drop from teaspoon into boiling salted water.

5. Cook until dumplings rise to the top.

Yummy Chicken with Cheddar Cheese

Ingredients

• Salt and pepper

• Garlic powder

• Four boneless chicken breast halves

• One cans condensed cream of chicken soup

• 1/2 can condensed cheddar cheese soup

Preparation

1. Rinse chicken and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

2. Mix undiluted soup and pour above chicken in a Crock Pot.

3. Cover and cook on low heat for eight hours.

4. Now serve above rice.

Awesome Vegetables Chicken along with Dressing of Italian Salad

Ingredients

• 2 cup Italian salad dressing

• Half package frozen now cut green beans

• Two can sliced water chestnuts

• Two to 3 teaspoon garlic powder

• 1 to two tsps corn-starch

• 1 cans whole potatoes

• 1/2 to one tsp chicken bouillon granules

• kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

• Four boneless chicken breast halves

Preparation

1. Sprinkle chicken pieces with kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, and the garlic powder.

2. Top with chicken bouillon granules.

3. Place chicken on the sprinkle with the potatoes.

4. Then the green beans and water chestnuts.

5. Top lightly with salt and pepper and pour the salad dressing above the sprinkle.

6. Cover and cook on low heat for up to 4 hours.

7. Withdraw the chicken and vegetables to a serving dish and tent with foil to keep warm.

8. Drain them into a saucepan.

9. Boil them over high heat.

10. Blend corn-starch with cold water till the corn-starch has dissolved.

11. Add to the boiling liquids and keep cooking.

12. Now you can serve with the chicken and vegetables.

Chicken with awesome Sauce

Ingredients

• One c. white vinegar

• Salt and pepper

• Dash red pepper flakes

• 2 c. chicken broth

• 2 to three tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

• One cloves garlic

• 2 can pineapple chunks

• 4 boneless chicken breast halves

• 2 to three tablespoons butter

• 1 c. ketchup

• Bell pepper strips

• 1 c. brown sugar

Preparation

1. Place chicken in slow cooker.

2. Add melted butter, ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, brown sugar, salt and pepper, hot pepper, chicken broth together.

3. Pour chicken over it.

4. Cover and cooking on low heat for 5 to 6 hours.

5. Combine pineapple and bell pepper.

6. Cook for additional 22 minutes.

Turkey Legs Barbecue in amazing Sauce

What you need

• Six turkey legs

• Two to three tablespoons dark brown sugar

• Four tbsps cider vinegar

• 1/3 can crushed pineapple

• Two to three tbsp Worcestershire sauce

• 1/4 cup chopped onion

• 1/2 to 1 teaspoon liquid smoke

• 1/3 cup ketchup

• Pepper and Salt

Preparation

1. Lightly grease the crockery liner of the slow cooker.

2. Move the turkey legs in the slow cooker.

3. Top with salt and pepper.

4. Blend the remaining what you need.

5. Spoon over the turkey legs and turn to coat legs well.

Cover and cook on low heat for 7 hours.

Stunning Creamy Sour Turkey Breasts

Ingredients

• 2 tbsp white

• 2 cup sour cream

• 1/2 tsp salt

• Two boneless breast of turkey

• 1/2 cup water

• Half teaspoon pepper

• 1 to two tsps dried dill weed

• Two to three tbsps flour

Preparation

1. Sprinkle both sides of turkey breast with salt, pepper and dill weed.

2. Move turkey breast in crockpot.

3. Combine water and vinegar.

4. Cover and cook on low heat for seven to eight hours.

5. Withdraw turkey breast to a platter and keep warm.

6. Shift juices to a saucepan.

7. Place on stovetop and heat above high medium heat.

8. Simmer briskly, uncovered, for about six minutes.

9. Dissolve flour in small amount of cold water and whisk within the liquid.

10. Add the remaining teaspoon of dill weed.

11. Cook for more about 22 minutes.

12. Stir in sour cream and turn off heat.

13. Slice meat and serve with the sour cream sauce.

Mouth watering Chicken with White Wine Noodles

Ingredients

• 2 cup sour cream

• Half cup flour

• 1/2 cup white wine

• Pepper and salt

• 2 can condensed cream of mushroom soup

• Two pounds chicken

• Cooked noodles

Preparation

1. Move chicken in Crock Pot.

2. Blend wine and soup in a bowl.

3. Pour above chicken.

4. Cover and create on low heat for five-seven hours.

5. Fuse sour cream with flour.

6. Stir mixture into juices and chicken.

7. Taste and append pepper and salt.

8. Heat for 30 minutes on low warmth.

9. Serve the chicken and dress it up with hot cooked noodles.

Superb Chicken with Lemon Pepper

Ingredients

• Three boneless chicken breast halves

• 1/3 to half tsp ground paprika

• One lemon

• Half to one tsp lemon pepper

Preparation

1. Move chicken breasts in a slow cooker.

2. Squeeze juice of half a lemon above chicken.

3. Sprinkle lemon pepper and paprika over sprinkle.

4. Cut remaining lemon half into thin slices.

5. Arrange pieces around chicken.

6. Cover and cook on high heat for three to four hours.

Tasty Chicken with Carrots and Dry Sherry

Ingredients

• Two cup matchstick-cut carrots

• 2 bunch green onions

• 2 can fat-free cream of chicken soup

• 2 to 3 tbsps dry sherry

• Half jar Kraft pimiento or may be pimiento

• Two pounds boneless chicken tenders

• Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

1. Place all what you need in the slow cooker.

2. Stir to combine well.

3. Cover and cook on low heat for seven to eight hours.

4. Serve over rice, toast, or biscuits.

Amazing Chicken Barbecue Sauce with Toasted Buns

What you need

• 4 boneless chicken breast halves

• Toasted buns

• Two medium onion

• Coleslaw

• Two cups spicy barbecue saucing

Preparation

1. Wash the chicken breasts and dry.

2. Move in a slow cooker with barbecue sauce and onion.

3. Whisk to coat the chicken.

4. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.

5. Withdraw the chicken breasts to a plate and shred.

6. Return the shredded chicken to the sauce in the slow cooker.

7. Whisk to blend.

8. Cover and cook for 12 minutes.

9. Serve the shredded chicken on toasted buns.
