AFFIRMATIONS

 

Affirmations are words that we consciously choose to say. When we repeat affirmations, they get imprinted in the subconscious mind. Therefore, it is key that we use positive affirmations if we want to create a positive life for ourselves. When we say words, the universe does not know whether they are real or not. The universe simply assumes that the condition is real, and then the universe will make it happen for us.

 

Writing down your affirmations is much more effective than merely saying them. When you write your words on paper, they are much more transparent and can have a more powerful and lasting effect. You can also read and

re-read what you have written down. Make it a ritual to write down your affirmations daily, and you can say these affirmations throughout the day.

 

When you think and say positive words, it makes you feel good inside. Suppose you say, “I am powerful”; it is not easy to feel negative when uttering these words. However, the words you say need to be believable to you. If you say the positive words but feel inside that these are not true, you will negate the positive aspect. You need to align the positive words with the feelings inside.

 

When you write down the positive affirmations, it is useful to combine them with the benefits of the affirmations, causing an emotional connection with the words. Writing down “I am exercising regularly, and it is helping me reach my ideal weight” is more powerful than just “I am exercising regularly.”

 

Sometimes when you are in the midst of challenging situations, positive affirmations are difficult to say. Keep repeating positive affirmations until you feel them. A good general affirmation is, “Everything is happening perfectly and I am feeling good.” It is important to find ways to turn all experiences into positive experiences in order to create joy in your life.

 

It is also important to surrender your worries. Affirmations feel real to you when you have surrendered your worries. If you are worried about your future or a specific thing in your life, surrendering it to the universe is a good way to feel free of the weight of carrying these issues in your heart. Have a Surrender Day and make a note of it in this workbook. This is the day that you are letting go of expectations for the outcome of your life, and you are willing to be guided by the universe. The universe knows the best and easiest way to achieve your desires. Worrying is only blocking the path of your intuition’s alignment with the powerful universe. You will be able to look back on your life from your Surrender Day and say to yourself, today is a week from this surrender day, a month from this surrender day, a year from this surrender day, etc. You will notice how your life has changed since this day. Worrying keeps you from living your life to the fullest. It keeps you away from what you are meant to be and become. Stop worrying, surrender to new possibilities and open your life up to lasting change.

Affirmations need to be in the present tense. Use words such as am and have and avoid the word will. Affirmations need to be positive words. Affirmations can refer to what you have or what you would like to have. You need to write them down as if you have them right now. If you make it real, the universe will make it real for you. It is important to feel gratitude while you are writing your affirmations. Gratitude and affirmations partner to create a joyful experience. You need to have patience and trust that affirmations are working – they are.

You need to feel happy in all areas of your life and not just one. You need balance to feel joy and happiness. Energy will flow to the areas you focus on. Write down your affirmations in all areas of your life.

Affirmations for Health:

I am healthy and feel great in every inch of my body.

Affirmations for Love:

I have attracted the love of my life and my life is full of joy.

I am happy to have this special bond with my partner and enjoy his company.

Affirmations for Career:

My job is my passion, and I love doing what I do.

Affirmations for Abundance:

All my needs are satisfied right now, and I am enjoying this journey of life.

Affirmations for Weight Loss:

I am enjoying eating healthy food, and it is helping me attain my ideal weight.

Affirmations for General Purpose:

I am powerful, and I have all that I want in my life.

Affirmations can be made with your partner. If you and your partner want to create them, it is more powerful to discuss them and write the affirmations together. You can also do affirmations with a close friend or a family member. It is critical that you do this with positive people if you are doing the affirmations together. You need to be in alignment both with each other and with the universe.

Affirmations with a partner or close friend:

We are enjoying our jobs and we have all that we want in our jobs right now.

We are eating healthy food and seeing the difference it is making in our bodies.

Creative Visualization

Creative visualization is the mental image of what you want to happen in your life. We react more emotionally to imagery, and feeling emotion is important in manifesting our desires.

It is important to create your images in your mind as though you already have what you are visualizing. When your mind thinks that it has what you are imagining and you are feeling emotional about the images, it will attract them into your life.

Creative visualization is a technique that is widely used by athletes to enhance their performance. They visualize reaching their goals, they see themselves attaining their goals, and they visualize the specifics of their every movement, their emotions, and their environment.

There is a big difference between fantasizing and visualization. Visualization is a conscious process of creating an image in your mind.

You must be relaxed and focused when you are visualizing. The more specific the image you visualize, the quicker it will appear in your life. If you are finding it difficult to relax, try using the breathing technique of inhaling and exhaling slowly and naturally. Do this a few times until you feel that your body is relaxed.

To feel good and ready to visualize, you can also think of exceptional moments in your life, events such as meeting your spouse or your best friend. This makes you feel joy inside, helping you to get in a state of happiness and be ready for visualization.

Affirmations combined with creative visualization are powerful in manifesting lasting change. Once you have written all your affirmations, you need to visualize them. If your affirmation is, “I am healthy and I feel great,” then visualize how you are feeling right now when you are healthy and feeling great. How is your body feeling? Feel every inch of your body. Feel the posture. The more specific your mental image is, the more powerful it is.

Lasting Change

Affirmations and creative visualization are the keys to manifesting lasting change.

Visualize your positive affirmations by focusing on the specific image as though the affirmations are true and as though they have already happened. Have patience and faith that this will happen.

The steps to achieving lasting change are (1) Write down your positive affirmations in this workbook. (2) Relax and be focused on your affirmations. (3) Visualize these affirmations as though they are already true. (4) Be grateful when they appear in real life. These are miracles, and more miracles come into your life when you are grateful for those that have already appeared.

Start a daily routine of writing positive affirmations in this workbook, visualize them, and watch your life change.

Accomplishments

 

Use this section to keep a monthly log of accomplishments that have manifested in your life. Your accomplishments may be physical, mental, or spiritual. You may have found peace, discovered your authentic self, found comfort in times of sorrow, attained your ideal weight, or made progress toward your ideal weight. Write down all your accomplishments. Don’t wait until the end of the month to write in this section. Write regularly as you achieve your goals. This is a place to celebrate your accomplishments, so it is important to keep the log positive. As you review your daily entries and this monthly accomplishments log, you will see how far you have come in your journey of lasting change.
