This lovely automobile was owned by Ann and me from 1999 when we imported it from Italy. It is sold now and has a new owner in Texas.
The car has a two-cylinder, 500cc rear Air Cooled Engine. Four-speed, not synchronized in any gear. It’s a Four-Passenger Sedan a little over ten feet long. It has a sun roof. It gets about 58 miles per gallon. I don’t know what it weighs but it isn’t very much. It’s had loving care. When I was younger, I used to carry it into the garage; later I needed to push it in. When it needed service, we took it to a service station in our station wagon. It never was a super car. Zero to 60 was about 4.5 seconds; top speed about 106 mph; red lined at about 8000 rpm. (Engine Specifications are estimates. We never drove it over fifty.) We’ll miss it.
