A Toast To Death

Anytime that Henry made a toast at his parties in his castle someone died and you would think Henry would not host any more parties but he did and didn’t care because he wanted it that way. Henry got a kick out of someone dying in his presence because it made him feel like a god but kept his feelings to himself to not raise suspicion on himself. No one ever suspected Henry because he was such a likable person and his parties were to die for, literally.

Henry was really clever when he made his move to put poison in any of his guest’s drinks. Henry had a ring on his finger that had a container under the bezel of his ring that held just enough poison to take down any man in a matter of seconds.

What made it even better for Henry was that he was the town’s doctor and they all trusted him with their lives and whatever diagnosis he told them that caused their loved ones death they didn’t question it even though they should have.

After a while Henry started getting bored at just poisoning them so he decided to stop poisoning them because there were already plenty of dead bodies in the cemetery to experiment with and be able to live out his sick fantasy of being his favorite doctor that was a fictional character in the movie Frankenstein. Off Henry went to the cemetery to dig up some bodies and swap out their body parts with other dead bodies and see what his masterpieces looked like. Henry would cook himself a steak on the stove and cut up the pieces of meat and place the pieces of meat on the upper torso of the dead body lying on the cold slab in his laboratory and dig in adding some flesh along with it. Henry was a very disturbed man who was not in touch with reality by all means of the word.

After weeks of experimenting the excitement was wearing off and he took their botched up bodies back to the cemetery and buried them back in the cold dark ground and headed back to his castle to get a glass of wine in the ballroom where all the parties were held before he turned in for the night. Henry couldn’t drink just one glass of wine so he threw the glass he was drinking from into the blazing fire in the fireplace and turned up the bottle of wine until the last drop touched his lips and then he was satisfied. Then just as Henry was licking his lips from his tasty wine the grandfather clock struck midnight and the lights in the ballroom were flickering on and off followed by faint voices getting louder and louder. Then Henry’s head hit the table and passed out drunk as skunk but not for long because what was about to burst through the ballroom door would sober up any drunk man including Henry.

Then all of a sudden the ballroom door burst open and all the people that Henry poisoned and did botched experiments on were coming for Henry and it wasn’t going to be a grand celebration for Henry but one that Henry wished never would have happened. The ballroom door flung open so hard it hit the wall with such force that the door knob busted a hole into the wall. The dead were calling Henry and each of the dead picked up a glass and raised their glasses into the air pointing towards Henry and said together “Henry we would like to make a toast to your death.” Henry picked up the bottle of wine and said “Man I must be really drunk and dreaming at the same time because you are all dead and I buried each and every one of you myself. So when I open my eyes you will all be gone and I’ll get me some much needed sleep and feel like a new man in the morning when I wake up from this dream or should I say nightmare.” The dead answered back saying “The only thing you’ll be is a dead man!”

Henry closed his eyes and then opened them but all the dead people were standing around him ready to tear into his body like a bunch of wild vultures. Henry look at them and said “Oh shit! This isn’t no dream!” Then the dead tore into Henry’s flesh tearing his limbs one by one from his body as he agonized in pain but nothing was going to stop the dead from giving Henry what he deserved. All that was left of Henry was a bloody mess and body parts strewn all over the ballroom from where the dead got themselves a tasty meal before they went back to the cold dark ground in the cemetery where Henry buried them.

It looks like lights out for Henry in a horrific way. I don’t know what Henry was thinking that he was going to get away with his sick fantasies and not suffer any consequences for doing so. Whoever should drop by and pay Henry a visit will get more than they bargained for and it won’t be a pretty sight. They will leave scratching their heads at how did such a horrific thing happen to such a kind nice person as Henry was but it’s really amazing how much we really don’t know what a person is capable of when we aren’t by their side twenty-four seven. Many times the friendliest people are the ones we least expect and that’s how Henry falls into this category.

If by chance you should visit Henry’s castle at the stroke of midnight and enter the ballroom Henry and his guests from the dead may make a toast to your death and if they do you better run like hell out of the castle and never return because if you don’t you’ll be one of Henry’s dead toasting friends for all eternity.
