Revelation is the last book of the Bible. The full title is, ‘Revelation to John (The Apocalypse.) To begin this information, two important questions must first be answered. The first question is: why was this information given to Apostle John. The second question is: why was it given to John at the time it was given. So, let’s consider the first question first.

When John was given this information and these visions, he had been exiled on the Island of Patmos, which is off the coast of what was known as Asia at that time. Now that area is known as Turkey. Patmos was near the ancient city of Ephesus which was on the coastline of Asia. The ancient ruins of that once beautiful city are still there with many named and identified monuments. John was the last of the apostles, since Paul and Timothy had been taken to Rome to be killed; Paul by beheading and Timothy by crucifixion. Paul was once a Roman citizen known as Saul, so he was not eligible for crucifixion. John was the last apostle.

John was an old man when he received these Words and visions from Christ. Some guess his age at about ninety when he wrote Revelation. He wrote the book while he was on Patmos, but shortly thereafter he was released from exile and returned to Ephesus where he had preached, and considered his home. This was the place he carried Jesus’ mother Mary when Jesus left her in John’s care as Jesus was on the cross in Jerusalem. Perhaps it was the right time due to John’s advanced age. Who else other than one of the apostles could have written Revelation with the nearness and authority of one of the apostles? John was the last.

Many believe John’s letters to the seven churches in Asia were merely written and addressed only to those churches. But, that’ not the case at all. Those letters were to the churches at that time, but they were also foundations of information of things to come, even into our current generation. In effect, those letters were a modified table of contents for the remainder of Revelation; and a prophesy for their future and our future.

Before John made a statement to address the seven churches, he first made a general statement that must be interpreted as to everyone. It’s in verse 3 of the first chapter:

“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophesy, and keep those things which are written therein; for the time is at hand.” This inference is toward all people not just to those of those churches. Then, verse 19 gives the time-inclusive prophesy. It’s Christ’s instruction to John:

“Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter.” It’s these things written ‘which shall be hereafter’ that create the ‘reasons to believe Revelation.’

Many people refuse to read the complete Book of Revelation. Some believe it’s written as a story of striving and struggling internally for personal fulfillment and salvation. And, considering Revelation from that perspective the true meaning of Revelation could never be interpreted. The meaning of Revelation can be interpreted in only two ways. First is true and pure belief. Second is by deciphering and understanding the secret codes Christ planted in the Words and visions he gave John. John did not understand many of those visions himself, but he reported them anyway.

Most of those eventful visions happened after John’s death, and in pictures he could describe only in strange metaphors. For example, one metaphor in Chapter 13 describes a miracle of ‘fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.’ In John’s time that fire would have been a true miracle, other than normal lightening.

In this case, however, John was describing modern warfare from the air; which he had no way to comprehend. He reported only what he saw in those visions given to him by Christ. He had no alternative but to use metaphors. What would citizens of that day have thought if John had written, ‘I saw planes shooting missiles and rockets at the enemy from the sky?’ If John had used those words, likely the book of Revelation would never have survived even his generation.

The purpose for this writing is to identify and decipher these codes in Revelation to make the reading of Revelation more current and understandable. And, before reading the Words of Revelation, it’s much easier to interpret by first understanding the purpose for Revelation. And, there are two primary purposes; other than as another avenue of accepting belief for personal salvation.

First, is to realize that Revelation is to reveal. One major premise is that there is a universal battle between Good and Evil. When Satan was removed from Heaven by Michael and his angels, Satan raised his hand to Heaven and swore to Remove God’s time in Heaven. (Chapter 10.) Revelation describes that universal battle in which God wins after He has had enough of Satan’s horrors on the earth.

The second purpose for Revelation is to describe how that earthly battle takes place. It reveals that God’s forces, the forces of Good, are attacked by Satan’s forces, the forces of Evil. After reading the whole story, it’s very clear that Islam is the embodiment of Satan’s will; whose sole purpose is to destroy the followers of God. Chapter 13 gives the full description of Satan’s formation of Islam. It describes the universal beast, the first beast (also known as the Antichrist) and the second beast (also known as the false prophet.)

Our first chapter (reason) in this book explains the deceptive creation of that false religion of Islam that identifies itself as one of the three Abrahamic religions. This is falsehood and deception from the beginning. So we will begin at the beginning of Revelation. The first two chapters expose this deception by Islam. This is the first reason to believe Revelation.

Reason 1

Great Deceptions Uncovered

In the first chapter of Revelation, as John is in the Spirit, God explains who He is and what John is to do. Verses 18 and 19 explain:

“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter.”

In following these instructions, John had not seen much described in the prophesy of Revelation. Of course, he knew of the past regarding the life of Jesus; and he knew of the present regarding those things relating to the persecution of Christians and Jews. This knowledge John had seen encompasses only a small part of Revelation; most is comprised of those things which would be ‘hereafter’ after John’s death. Therefore John would have no first-hand knowledge of these things. He was given that information in Words and visions. That information of the future begins in the letter to Ephesus in the second verse of Chapter 2:

“I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and has found them liars.”

This was the first indication of a false religion to come ‘hereafter’ since there were no false apostles of Jesus at that time. Any apostles, false or not, would have been persecuted, even put to death. Why would someone at that time claim to be an apostle of Jesus when at that time one of the real apostles even denied Jesus when approached by Roman soldiers. This was the first entry to warn of the coming time when Muhammad would claim to be ‘the prophet’ of God. However, in claiming to be the prophet, Muhammad also denied the deity of Jesus Christ; considering Him to be only a minor prophet such as Moses. But, that warning of falsehood and deception does not stop there. It continues in the next letter, to Smyrna, in verse 9:

“I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.”

Again, this is another part of that deception by Islam; to claim they are descended from Ishmael, the son of Abraham. This is the foundation of their false claim that they are one of the three Abrahamic religions. This is one of the many references that dispute that false claim:

This false claim supports the other false claim in the first reference about false apostles. This also refers to Muslims. The next letter, to Pergamos, also refers to this false claim, but the reference is more indirect and coded. It’s written in verse 14:

“But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Ba’laam, who taught Ba’lac to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.”

This story of Ba’laam and Ba’lac occurred after the Israelites’ escape from Egypt. When they settled in Ba’lac’s land of Moab, he sent for a ‘prophet’ Ba’laam to put a curse on the Israelites so they would leave his territory. Instead, Ba’laam’s involvement resulted in idol worship and fornication, which turned God against those who had committed those sins. This story with this reference is another case of false prophets; and another example of turning from God to another false God, Islam. This link at Wikipedia gives the story of Ba’laam and Ba’lac. This link also describes the conversation between Ba’laam and his donkey when his donkey sat in the road and refused to go any further toward Ba’lac’s land.

This information about Ba’laam and Ba’lac is another metaphor to describe what has happened in many generations since that event occurred. In our current case, Muhammad replaced Ba’laam as a false prophet to lead people from God. Not only do Muslims eat food (halal food) sacrificed to an idol in Mecca, they also openly and proudly commit fornication by their treatment of women. In that religion, they are allowed to marry little girls and have more than one wife. Is there any higher form of fornication than sexually abusing a very young girl? That religion condones and even authorizes that heinous activity. Yes, Ba’laam is an ancient metaphor that describes Muhammad and Islam; a false prophet.

Ah, and then comes Lady Jezebel to seduce us with her charm, power and deceptions. She is another of those metaphors who speaks as a prophet to lead us from the Word of God and from the Glory of Jesus Christ. She is described in John’s letter to the church at Thyatira. It begins in verse 20, and again refers to fornication and idol worship:

“Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21) And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.” Then the next two verses give a direct connection to explain exactly who this modern Jezebel is:

“Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23) And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.”

Before we continue with this modern Jezebel, let’s take a brief moment to identify the original Jezebel of the Old Testament. Jezebel was the wife of Ahab the ruler of the land of Canaan. This is an excerpt from an article at Gotquestion.org, titled ‘Who was Baal ?:’

“Before the Hebrews entered the Promised Land, the Lord God warned against worshiping Canaan’s gods (Deuteronomy 6:14-15), but Israel turned to idolatry anyway. During the reign of Ahab and Jezebel, at the height of Baal worship in Israel, God directly confronted the paganism through His prophet Elijah. First, God showed that He, not Baal, controlled the rain by sending a drought lasting three-and-one-half years (1 Kings 17:1).”

More information about that Jezebel explains that she was the main character in turning the Israelites from God to her god Baal. According to the story, in the end after Ahab died she was thrown from a tower and her body was eaten by wild dogs. This example of Jezebel is to warn against being led by false prophets to turn from the Word of God. This is that continued warning to beware of Satan’s new Jezebel; now named Islam. A religion is identified as a ‘woman’ in Revelation. In this metaphor, Jezebel is that religion Islam. Now let’s continue to understand how God will kill her children with death. The explanation begins in Chapter 6, verse 4:

“And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.”

This is a connective clue that takes us to Chapter 17, verse 3 where that woman Islam is described again; but this time riding that ‘red’ scarlet colored beast; otherwise known as Satan. Then, verses 5 and 6 explain exactly who this woman is:

“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.”

These connective identifications make it very clear. This woman, also described as Jezebel and Babylon the Great, is that false religion Islam. Who else in this whole wide world remains drunken with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus? Their fundamental religion demands that Jews and Christians must be destroyed. Now, let’s understand how God will kill her children with death. First, as Chapter 6 explains; they will kill one another. Chapter 17 explains how and why they will do that.

The description of Babylon the Great identifies her as being the mother of harlots; or in other words, the mother of whores. Verses 16 and 17 explain the relationship between mother and daughter; in other words between Islam and her radical children:

“And the ten horns (Islamic nations) which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.”

This explains how and why Muslims will kill one another. They are killing one another even as you read this line of text in this book. It’s God’s will that they will not accept each other’s ideas and actions; primarily between the beliefs of the Shiite and the Sunni; mostly related to their beliefs about their Mahdi; similar to the belief of the Messiah between Christians and Jews. The Shiite believe the Mahdi has already arrived and is waiting in occultation to come forward to ‘save’ the world. The Sunni believe the Mahdi has not yet arrived. In the Shiite view, they must create havoc and turmoil to bring Mahdi out from occultation – hiding.

John’s letter to the church at Philadelphia also issues a warning and a plea not to be swayed and deceived by that falseness from the beast Satan through the words of Islam. And, this letter offers something a little different. It begins in Chapter 3, verse 7:

“And to the angel of the church at Philadelphia write: These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; 8) I know thy works; behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and has not denied my name. 9) Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie, behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.” Verse 11 adds, “Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.”

This letter is different in that it begins with an affirmation that He, the true God, is the one speaking, not that false god of the synagogue of Satan claimed by those who say they are Jews and are not. God also adds that his followers have not ‘denied my name.’ This clearly is referring to the Muslim doctrine of not accepting Christ as the Son of God. Islam places Muhammad in a higher position in God’s realm than that of Christ. They consider Christ only as a minor prophet. Then in the end he encourages his followers to ‘hold fast’ and not to be persuaded to follow that deception of Islam.

Finally, Christ issues a warning at the end of each of those letters. That warning says:

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”

This is a reason to believe God’s Words in Revelation. At the beginning of Revelation, God exposes the deceptions of Satan, and the religion that will perform his unholy plan. It uncovers Islam’s deception in its claim that Muslims are descended from Jews; but they are not. Then, God’s Words and John’s visions throughout Revelation give a clear connection to prove that point. This is a reason to believe.

Reason 2

Locusts and Lions

As a concept is decoded in Revelation, that ordinarily becomes a reason to believe. Such is the case with the information in Chapter 9. This chapter gives a coded description of devices and events which are deeply coded in metaphoric descriptions that will happen in the future. This chapter begins with an introduction of the bottomless pit:

“And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.”

Ordinarily, this is interpreted as the key ‘to’ the bottomless pit, not the key ‘of’ the bottomless pit. Just this minor understanding alone is enough to change the intent of the statement. Perhaps a key ‘to’ would mean a key to unlock the door of a large pit in the ground from which things would flow. On the other hand, perhaps the key ‘of’ the bottomless pit might mean an understanding of warfare and the results of warfare. The words that follow might suggest this is a condition of warfare. Verse 2 gives more information about that bottomless pit:

“And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.” This certainly describes conditions of normal warfare, with bombs, rockets, artillery shells and missiles exploding on many targets simultaneously. That always creates smoke that causes darkness on the battlefield. Then the next verse seems difficult to interpret because it mentions locusts and scorpions; insects instead of weapons of war. But, is that what it means? Are these real weapons of war? Let’s consider the entire context of the battlefield situation. Verse 3 begins that description:

“And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4) And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. 5) And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.”

Clearly, this vision by John is not reported in a direct or sequential order; perhaps there is no pertinent sequence. So, our interpretation cannot have a definite sequence. Therefore, we must consider these events as John saw them. So, let’s begin by understanding John’s description of locusts upon the earth. Instead of locusts, John was describing aircraft on the horizon as he saw them.

Suppose John was given this vision of many aircraft approaching from afar on the horizon. What choices did he have as words to describe these approaching aircraft? Would it make sense if John had written ‘I saw these flying things on the horizon?’ If he had used that description, perhaps it would have been interpreted as vultures coming to clean up the battle field. Readers of that day would have understood the definition of a vulture; which would not have been the correct description of what he saw. And, he could not have said he saw a group of F-105s, F-22s, or F-35s approaching on the horizon. That would really have thrown his early readers into a tizzy and totally discounted his credibility. He saw visions of aircraft and used the best metaphor he could imagine for that time. How do I know?

As an officer in the Air Force, I was stationed in Vietnam in 1966-67. Although not a pilot my job often took me to the flight line at Tan Son Nhut Air Base in Saigon, where I was stationed. While taking off, of course the aircraft looked like aircraft as we know aircraft. However, when large numbers, even a few at a time, far on the horizon those individual aircraft weren’t discernable. What one saw could easily have been described as locusts approaching on the far horizon. Even if John had seen them as individual large objects he would not have had a description that would have identified them at that time. So, what better description than locusts?

As verses 4 and 5 above explain, they had certain criteria for their attack upon men; that they should not attack anything that would damage natural flora, or kill men. And, if men were injured it must only be men who did not have the seal of God in their foreheads. Again, this is another of those events that has multiple implications.

Since the purpose of these aircraft attacks was for only five months, then these aircraft attacks were for other than regular combat missions. Ordinarily those missions are indeterminate and carried out as long as needed or as long as they are able to be sustained. And, since there was a caution against harming flora, these conditions would suggest these attacks were meant to destroy the strength and livelihood of these men who did not have the seal of God in their foreheads; meaning those who do not worship God. In this event the targets would refer to Muslims who do not worship the real God; only Satan. Therefore, the targets of these air attacks would be the oil fields in those areas controlled by Satan’s army. That would include deserts and other non-forest areas void of flora. In this case those targets would be oil fields; not men, for five months.

Now, let’s consider a possible interpretation for verses 6-10 which must be considered together:

“And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.”

These verses cannot be interpreted individually because they express many things happening at the same time; or in modern warfare terms it might be called a joint exercise. This is likely a description of aircraft, tanks and other armored vehicles approaching from the horizon; similar to locusts. Plus, in the desert and other barren areas much dust thrown by these vehicles would add to the confusion and descriptions of these items.

Perhaps the hatches on those tanks, or the tops of the tanks would appear ‘crowns like gold;’ and of course the faces would really be faces of men. ‘And they had hair as the hair of women’ would also describe modern warfare, since women now fill many combat roles in our military forces; many even in command positions. So, what about those ‘teeth of lions?’ This easily describes the front grills of many armored vehicles. If John had never seen a motorized vehicle, those grills might easily be considered ‘teeth.’ Armored breastplaces would of course be real metal breastplates protecting artillery and mortar fire positions on the ground.

Their ‘tails like unto scorpions’ are easy to describe. These would be helicopters, that have the same general shape of scorpions and the firepower from their tails would be similar to the sting from the tail of a real scorpion. And their ‘wings’ which in modern terms would be helicopter blades or propellers would certainly make the sound of many chariots running to battle. With all this activity happening at once, how could John have given a better description of individual armaments at the battle scene? Now we can return to verse 6 for a better understanding of that meaning:

“And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.”

This is also easy to understand in the face of modern warfare. It concerns the wounded, lost and abandoned on the battlefield. The perfect example is that of the MOAB bomb recently dropped on the large tunnel complex in Afghanistan. This is an article from FOX news that gives some of the details:

“On April 13, at 7:32 pm local time, U.S. Forces in Afghanistan struck an ISIS tunnel complex in Nangahar Province. What made this strike more newsworthy than most was its use of a GBU-43 bomb.

The Massive Ordnance Air Burst Bomb (MOAB), known more colloquially as the “mother of all bombs” is the most powerful conventional bomb in the U.S. arsenal.

The commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan, General John Nicholson noted that “this is the right munition to reduce these obstacles and maintain the momentum of our offensive against ISIS-K” (the Afghan branch of ISIS).

The MOAB was developed in 2002, but had never been used in combat. Thus, the strike in Nangahar Province will inevitably spark speculation about what it all means. Does this represent an escalation of the Afghan war effort? Is it another, extremely loud signal of seriousness from the Trump administration? Was it a response to the death of Staff Sergeant Mark De Alencar, a Special Forces soldier who was killed April 8 in the same province?

Most likely the MOAB was used for a simple reason: it was the right bomb for the right target.” End of article.

Although a large number of ISIS members were reported killed in that attack, just imagine the large numbers of men who were not killed; perhaps trapped in deeper or more peripheral tunnels and crevices. If they were horribly injured and not able to die quickly, what might their feelings and thoughts be? Might they not ‘seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them?’

Understanding these metaphors described above such as locusts and lions should help understand the actual modern warfare concepts these metaphors represent. Should not this understanding also give one a reason to believe what has been written? We are warned; that time of horrors and tribulation draws near.

Reason 3

Time and Times

Christ gave John one of the greatest clues, and one of the greatest reasons to believe, with the information about three events and time. And, that time was stated with those events to affirm certain things in the past and in the future; those things that would be hereafter. These are things and times that when put together tell the beginning story. It begins with the first verse in Chapter 12:

“And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars; 2) And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.”

This is an explanation of the beginning of Christianity. This was something in the past as John was writing. John was well aware that those who followed Christ, as he himself did, were persecuted; even killed. That woman, Christianity, was ‘travailing in birth and pained to be delivered.’ ‘Clothed with the sun’ represented the glow of humanity Christ would represent when He was born. The twelve stars represented the twelve apostles who followed Him. The moon under her feet represented that religion, Islam, founded on the pagan deity, the moon god. Notice also that this woman was presented as a ‘great’ wonder. Then, verse 3 begins the introduction of Satan. Notice this is not a great wonder:

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4) And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.”

Clearly, this wonder describes Satan as he was cast out of Heaven by Michael and his angels. The ‘third part of the stars’ likely were the third of the angels who supported Satan as he was removed from Heaven; they were cast out with him. Also, King Herod stood in Satan’s place to kill (devour) Jesus as soon as he was born. But, how do we know for sure this describes the birth of Jesus? Verse 5 answers that question:

“And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up unto God and to his throne.”

Now the understanding of the greatest clue Christ gave us through John’s writing is given. It begins in verse 6:

“And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.”

Now, remember the story of Herod’s attempt to kill the new ‘King of the Jews’ when Herod heard he was expected and when he was born? Herod even enlisted the ‘three wise men’ to help him uncover the whereabouts of baby Jesus. At that time, an angel went to Joseph and told him to take the new-born child to Egypt where he would be safe from Herod. The family then fled to Egypt where they stayed until the death of Herod. They left Egypt three and a half years later and returned to Nazerath instead of to an area near Jerusalem. Herod’s son had replaced Herod as king, and Joseph was unsure as to Herod’s son’s intent toward Jesus. That time of ‘a thousand two hundred and threescore days’ which is three and a half years, gives the time clue of two other events to come. The next several verses give the description of Satan being removed from heaven, then verse 13 concludes:

“And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.”

Satan continued to persecute that woman Christianity through the actions of the Romans and the Jews for another 350 years. This is where the critical clue of time comes into play. It gives two events recorded in history that ties times to events. The first time line at 350 years is the creation of the Roman Catholic Church. The second time line, 350 years after that, is the time of the rise of Islam. Verse 14 continues:

“And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.”

Two pieces of information explain exactly what this verse means. First, the ‘two wings of a great eagle’ refers to Constantine the Great. The eagle represents Rome; and Constantine became ‘Great.’ At that time, Rome was involved in a great civil war which kept the empire divided. Then in October, 312 AD the two adversaries met at the Milvian Bridge on the Tigris River. Constantine’s opponent was Maxentius, who claimed to be the emporer.

Constantine had a dream the night before the battle. In his dream he was looking into the Sun and superimposed on the Sun was the Christian cross. Under the cross were written the words, ‘In this sign, prevail.’ Constantine had his men paint the Christian cross on their shields and won the battle the following day. Then he reunited Rome and became known as Constantine the Great.

Upon his ascension to power, Constantine immediately halted the persecution of Christians and accepted them into a normal part of Roman society. Later, approximately 350 AD (time, and times, and half a time) he formed the Roman Catholic Church and protected ‘the woman’ another 350 years (time, times, and half a time.) This brought the time line to 700 AD. So, what happened after that 350 years of protection by Rome? That was the height of the rise of Islam, which began years earlier after Muhammad conquered and subjugated all the other false idols of Mecca; except the moon god. The moon god was the transition idol into Islam. The moon still remains one of Islam’s symbols. Then Islam’s war against Christianity is described in verses 15-17:

“And the serpent (Satan) cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, (meaning all Christians even those of today) which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”

This time and event line written in Chapter 12 is the greatest clue Christ gave us to believe the Word of Revelation and it’s prophesy. It was written and prophesied 350 years before the first event; the protection of Christians by Rome, ruled at that time by Constantine. It was written 700 years before the second event; the rise of Islam, that again attacked Christianity and anything and anyone expressing an acceptance of God and Christ. Islam’s vicious and hell-bent crusade has not stopped; it’s even accelerated into a world wide crusade; and internal drive they are not allowed to resist. They are guided by Satan’s determination to destroy God’s time in Heaven.

These verses create the greatest clue that explains what has happened and what’s prophesied to happen in the future. It’s the planted clue. It’s a reason to believe.

Reason 4

Heads, Horns and Rocks

Another clear and indisputable reason to believe is presented in Chapter 13. This chapter identifies the general beast, Islam; the first beast and the second beast. Each is individually described. These beasts were created after Satan’s plans to destroy God’s time in Heaven were thwarted by the actions of Constantine and the rise of the Catholic Church. This is when he went ‘to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.’ John’s vision of this event begins with the first verse:

“And as I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.”

In many places in Revelation the reference to sea means the sea of humanity, or the river of humanity. In this case since there’s the inclusion of the word ‘sand’ this indicates this would be a real sea. Therefore, those seven heads rising from the sea indicate the seven continents; or a world-wide influence. The ten horns refer to ten nations and the crowns indicate those will be nations having formal leaders. And, ‘upon his heads the name of blasphemy’ suggests those heads will reject God and the Son; as does Islam.

This is the same Islam that exists on those seven heads; those continents, as they continue to create and inspire blasphemy by claiming that Muhammad is higher in God’s order than Jesus. Furthermore, Muslims bow down toward Mecca and worship a black meteorite rock housed in what they consider a sacred building known as the Kaaba. This link describes the Kaaba and its purpose:

What Is The Kaaba? Black Cube Marking Islam’s Most Sacred Site Sparks Curiosity,

By Amethyst Tate @ammiet1 On 10/03/14 AT 2:10 PM

“Every year millions of Muslims travel to Mecca for the hajj, one of the five pillars of Islam. Muslims travel to Islam’s most sacred mosque, al-Masjid al-Haram, during the six-day pilgrimage. Mecca is thought to be the place where Ishmael and his mother Hagar were provided with a spring of water in the desert. As it is the most sacred place in Islam, non-Muslims are forbidden from entering.

In the center of the mosque, there is a black, box-shaped building, which has sparked questions from those unfamiliar with the Islamic culture. Here is everything to know about the most sacred space in the Muslim world.

It is called the Kaaba, or “the cube.”

Is there anything inside?

The Kaaba is built around a sacred black stone, a meteorite that Muslims believe was placed by Abraham and Ishmael in a corner of the Kaaba, a symbol of God’s covenant with Abraham and Ishmael and, by extension, with the Muslim community itself. It is embedded in the eastern corner of the Kaaba.

What is the historical significance of the Kaaba?

Muslims believe the Kaaba was originally built by Abraham and Ishmael, but the site was re-dedicated by Muhammad and has been reconstructed since. When Muslims pray, wherever they are, they turn toward the Kaaba, and during the hajj, pilgrims walk counterclockwise around it seven times.

What is the Kaaba made of?

The Kaaba is made of granite from the hills near Mecca. The structure is 50 feet high (15.24 meters), 35 feet (10.67 meters) wide and 40 feet long (12.19 meters) long. Inside the Kaaba, the floor is made of marble and limestone. The interior walls, measuring 43 feet (13 meters) by 30 feet (9 meters), are clad with tiled, white marble halfway to the roof, with darker trimmings along the floor. It is covered by a black silk cloth decorated with gold-embroidered calligraphy. This cloth is known as the kiswa, and it is replaced yearly.” End of article.

Information at this link gives even more about the Kaaba and the rock:

“Before Muhammad appeared, the Kaaba was surrounded by 360 idols, and every Arab house had its god. Arabs also believed in jinn (subtle beings), and some vague divinity with many offspring. Among the major deities of the pre-Islamic era were al-Lat (“the Goddess”), worshiped in the shape of a square stone; al-Uzzah (“the Mighty”), a goddess identified with the morning star and worshiped as a thigh-bone-shaped slab of granite between al Talf and Mecca; Manat, the goddess of destiny, worshiped as a black stone on the road between Mecca and Medina; and the moon god, Hubal, whose worship was connected with the Black Stone of the Kaaba.

The stones were said to have fallen from the sun, moon, stars, and planets and to represent cosmic forces. The so-called Black Stone (actually the color of burnt umber) that Muslims revere today is the same one that their forebears had worshiped well before Muhammad and that they believed had come from the moon. (No scientific investigation has ever been performed on the stone. In 930, the stone was removed and shattered by an Iraqi sect of Qarmatians, but the pieces were later returned. The pieces, sealed in pitch and held in place by silver wire, measure about 10 inches in diameter altogether and several feet high; they are venerated today in patched-together form.)” (The Joy of Sects, Peter Occhigrosso, 1996)

At Mekka, Allah was the chief of the gods and the special deity of the Quraish, the prophet’s tribe. Allah had three daughters: Al Uzzah (Venus) most revered of all and pleased with human sacrifice; Manah, the goddess of destiny, and Al Lat, the goddess of vegetable life. Hubal and more than 300 others made up the pantheon. The central shrine at Mekka was the Kaaba, a cube like stone structure which still stands though many times rebuilt. Imbedded in one corner is the black stone, probably a meteorite, the kissing of which is now an essential part of the pilgrimage.” (Meet the Arab, John Van Ess, 1943, p. 2) End of article.

So, what is this blasphemy exhibited on the seven heads, the seven continents, the whole world by Islam? The answer is simple; they worship toward a black rock in Mecca and pretend to the whole world that they are worshiping the God of Abraham. This is about as much blasphemy as one can imagine. The other extreme blasphemy is the act of Muhammad claiming to be greater in God’s realm than Jesus Christ. That’s maximum blasphemy.

This is also an appropriate time to mention that pagan moon god identified above. He later became Islam’s god called Allah. This is the same ‘moon’ reference in the first verse of Chapter 12 which reads, “and the moon under her feet,” describing ‘that woman’ Christianity. With this background information, let’s now return to Chapter 13, beginning with verse 2:

“And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.”

Although this verse seems coded, it’s really not. It describes Islam as Islam is and does. Islam is sneaky like a leopard. It creeps into an unsuspecting society until its numbers are large enough to begin its bold attack against God’s unsuspecting citizens of a community or a nation. The ‘feet of a bear’ means his efforts are strong and unyielding; Islam doesn’t compromise in its task to fulfill Satan’s mission. And, as a lion; Muslims are openly proud and boastful; opening their mouths wide in their expressions of rightness in their beliefs. Their loud roar prevents others from challenging their authority once they have achieved positions of authority. And, as with a lion’s roar; it’s a threatening challenge to anyone who would question them or their ‘god.’ It’s a death threat, as with a lion’s roar. Next, verse 3 mentions a deadly head wound:

“And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the death.” This presents another clear and indisputable reason to believe. It concerns Muhammad’s head wound at the Battle of Uhud.

There is also a historical record of his ‘wounded in the head, and his deadly wound was healed, and all the world wondered after the beast.’ This is explained with information about his Battle of Uhud on March, 625 AD. This is the reference:

“At Mount Uhud the Muslim troops passed the night, and in the morning, after offering their prayers, they advanced into the plain. The Prophet contrived to have the hill at his back, and, the better to secure his men from being surrounded, he placed fifty archers on the height in the rear, behind the troops, and gave them strict orders not to leave their posts whatever might happen.

When they came to engage, the Prophet had superiority at first. But afterward, his archers left their position for the sake of plunder, thus allowing the enemy to attack the Muslims in the rear and surround them. The Prophet lost the day and very nearly lost his life. He was struck down by a shower of stones and wounded in the face by two arrows, and one of his front teeth was broken. Of the Muslims, seventy men were killed, among whom was the Prophet’s uncle Hamza. Of the infidels, twenty two men were lost.

The Quraish were too exhausted to follow up their advantage, either by attacking Medina or by driving the Muslims from the heights of Uhud. They retreated from the Medinite territories after barbarously mutilating the corpses of their dead enemies.” End of article.

Muhammad was believed to be dead, and his troops abandoned the battlefield. Later, Muhammad rose and joined them in the rear.

There’s also another time and event activity that creates another reason to believe. This event could only have happened to Muhammad, and the time is recorded. First, let’s read verse 5 to associate this recorded event:

“And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.”

This is that time of three and a half years again. But what does it mean? It took me nearly five years to interpret this time, because Muhammad had been active far longer than three and a half years. Suddenly, that answer became very clear. The answer is at this site:

“628 AD: Poisoned at Khaybar. Immediately following the conquest of Khaybar, Muhammad and his men are served a meal of poisoned lamb by a Jewish woman named Zaynab bint al-Harith, causing him to fall ill. Muhammad questions her, and then has her executed.

632 AD: Death of Muhammad. Muhammad’s last days are spent with Aisha in her house, where he continues to issue orders and curse the Christians and Jews. Slumped against her bosom, he finally dies on the 8th of July. Ali (Muhammad’s son-in-law and cousin) reports that Muhammad’s penis was erect after his death.”

The word ‘continues’ is the major clue that escaped me for a long time. Finally, comparing all this information, and dates, the question solved itself. Muhammad continued for forty two months even after he was poisoned.

These times and events of Islamic actions and of Muhammad’s history are very clear and recorded. This historical information that matches the prophesy of Revelation is another reason to believe.

Reason 5

Beasts and Marks

Revelation introduces and describes three beasts. The general and universal beast, having seven heads and ten horns, represents the mother beast. This mother beast, Islam, is uncovered in Chapter 17 as ‘Babylon, the Great, the Mother of Harlots. She has a harlot daughter, otherwise known as ‘Islamic Radicals.’ Chapter 13 also describes two other beasts of Islam.

As indicated above, Muhammad was the one called the ‘first beast.’ Verse 6 continues his description:

“And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7) And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” Verse 8 adds more, “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” In other words, Muhammad has become that object of worship.

This describes Muhammad’s power and actions while he was on earth. Once he appointed himself the ‘Prophet’ he wreaked havoc within all the Christian and Jewish communities; even those whose leaders were considered saintly upon the earth. His actions and words were so blasphemous that he is the one who functioned as the Antichrist. He directly attacked God and those who worshipped God. And, he pushed Jesus aside to take his place in the realm of God, without realizing the god he worshipped was Satan. His title in Chapter 13 is the ‘First’ beast. But, what does Revelation say about his leaving that position? That answer begins in verse 9:

“If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10) He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.”

Although not written in specifics, these verses mean that Muhammad was killed by violence; and he got what was coming to him. He wasn’t killed by a ‘sword’ but he was killed by an act of violence by being poisoned. In other words he didn’t die a natural or comfortable death. He was killed; as he had killed so many before. Verse 10 is the verse that becomes the dividing line between the first beast and the second beast. Although Muhammad died over 1400 years ago, the one who followed him as the second beast did not appear until our current times. The announcement of his arrival begins in verse11:

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12) And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.”

Of course, that first beast before him has already been identified as Muhammad, the one with the deadly wound to the head at the Battle of Uhud. And, this beast ‘rising up out of the earth’ doesn’t mean he actually rose from the ground. He rose from the masses of the earth, not from one of nobility or high status. Also, he rose to occupy a similar power position as did Muhammad. He became the leader of a nation or a large area with the status to persuade people to worship Muhammad. Then verses 13 and 14 give more clarity to his description:

“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by the sword and did live.”

The great clue in these verses is the revelation that he ‘maketh fire come down from heaven.’ This wasn’t possible in John’s time and it was not possible during Muhammad’s time. Aircraft capable of firing rockets and missiles from heaven did not exist until our recent times. When John saw this vision of aircraft firing these ammunitions it would certainly have seemed a miracle. He didn’t know what to call them so he could not have said he saw aircraft firing weapons from the sky. His vision was accurate but it was not of that time. But what of that deception? That’s also easily explained.

This second beast had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. This means he claimed to be a Christian (from the Lamb) but he spoke words of a dragon (Satan.) In other words, he claimed to be a Christian, but he supported Islam’s god, Satan. But, what about that image to the beast? Our modern times hold the answer to this question also.

Historically, this has been interpreted as an ‘image of the beast’ not ‘to’ the beast. The common interpretation has been that this would be a hologram or something similar that would display this beast Muhammad, or the Antichrist; which is the same person. But, since this is to be an image to the beast this takes a different turn. This image has already been created. Its form is that of ISIS. Through deceptive use of American airpower, by not allowing our military forces to be used in the most effective manner to stop ISIS, Barack Hussein Obama allowed that image to be created. In the beginning he deceptively called ISIS ‘the JV team’ to distract full attention to the rising danger. His praise of Muhammad was too strongly exhibited to permit otherwise. Verses 15 through 17 continue to explain the power of that beast; that image to the beast, Muhammad:

“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads; And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

This describes ISIS and the intent of ISIS today; as they viciously harass and murder those in their path who refuse to recognize them and their false god. The process is very simple; they are either killed or not allowed to be part of the economic process. Some survive by paying a dhimmi tax to those horrors which allows them to live as sub-humans until those monsters change their mind and just want to kill someone. The mark in their right hand or in their foreheads also has a specific meaning. The mark in the forehead means they accept that religion, Islam. The mark in their right hand means they will take up arms (in their right hand) to defend that religion. Now, that number of his name is more specific. This is written in verse 18:

“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six (666.)

Can you imagine the agony and frustration of readers in the past trying to decipher this verse? As with many other verses, they couldn’t be deciphered or understood because the described event or person had not arrived at the time of that reading. For example; understanding the arrival of the true Antichrist could not have been determined until Muhammad came on the scene in the early 600s. And, it would have been many years of history to understand what had happened in the past. The same applies to this second beast who had that 666 mark. Many in the past have not deciphered this code because they have not followed the specific instruction. They have not stayed with the principle that this is the name of a man – a specific man. So let’s begin.

This verse says to ‘count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man.’ The only way to count that number is to add that number. The only way to add that number is to add: 6+6+6, which totals the number 18. That’s counting. Now, who in our current time who had command over our aircraft and our military using that aircraft has a name with 18 letters? Let’s try:

My goodness! That works. He had the same power as the first beast; he used deception to create ISIS; and he claimed to be a Christian but all his religious words were words of support for Muhammad and Islam. That mark of this beast is not really a visible mark placed on a person; it’s the mark of acceptance of that Islamic god, Satan. And there’s also a confirmation, or a ‘password,’ that confirms this number of a man; the number 18. This mark of this man is described in verse 18.

Once these beasts are understood, and the codes are put in order it presents a perfect picture of the time and event. It’s another reason to believe.

Reason 6

Book of the Seventh Angel

One of the most important and significant stories in Revelation is recorded in Chapter 10. This is the chapter that describes Satan’s hatred of God, and his promise to end God’s time in Heaven. It’s also the basis of Islam’s hatred of Jews and Christians and Islam’s vow to destroy everything related to these two religions of God. But, that story doesn’t begin in Chapter 10. The first indication of Satan’s actions begins in Chapter 12, when he and his angels are removed from Heaven by Michael and his angels. This is written in verses 7-9:

“And there was a war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8) And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world; he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

The verses did not cite how many angels were cast down with Satan. There’s only one place in Revelation that reveals the answer to this clue. We will understand that number later as we move to Chapter 10 and progress from there, beginning with the first verse. This begins after Satan and his angels were cast out:

“And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: 2) And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, 3) And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. 4) And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.”

During this time, Apostle John was writing from a vision. While he was recording, he started to write the words from those seven thunders, but Christ told him not to write those words. Then John continued to record the events as he saw them in that vision. It begins with the actions of the angel, Satan, in verse 5:

“And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, 6) And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer. 7) But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”

Let’s pause here to understand what John wrote from his visions and from the Word of God. First, it’s clear that the angel Satan raised his hand to heaven as he swore to end God’s time there. But, obviously he still held that little book in his other hand; since he raised only one hand to heaven. The information in verse 7 however is the most coded, so let’s consider what that might mean regarding that seventh angel.

Verse 4 said seven thunders uttered their voices and said something which John started to write. But, Christ told him not to write those words. Then verse 7 identified that seventh angel. This clearly suggests that Satan was one of those seven voices that uttered something. Satan must have been that seventh angel; which would suggest six other angels left with Satan when he was removed from heaven. The statement that ‘the mystery of God should be finished’ would suggest that when that seventh angel began his open attack against God, in its current and open vicious onslaught by Islam throughout the world, the world would become more aware of God’s existence. It would be an open battle of Evil versus Good; and it would be that clear and obvious.

In this evolution of information, that little book would also play an important role. But how? The next verses begin the explanation, starting with verse 8:

“And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. 9) And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he (God) said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. 10) And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey; and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. 11) And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.”

But what happened to that ‘little book’ in John’s vision? Since that book was there in the presence of God and Satan it must surely have some great significance. It does. That little book written from words uttered by those seven thunders in verse 4 appears again approximately seven hundred years later. These are the words that Christ told John to “write them not.”

The articles at this link give a great suggestion that Muhammad was presented with that little book approximately seven hundred years later while he contemplated in the cave of Hira, near Mecca. This was the beginning of Satan’s dastardly plan to destroy God’s time in heaven; it was the beginning of Islam. Satan approached Muhammad with that little book. Muhammad was later convinced it was the angel Gabriel; not Satan:

To Read or Recite? That is the Question! Was Muhammad Really Illiterate? by Sam Shamoun:

“The vast majority of Muslims have been taught to believe that the historical Muhammad was illiterate and therefore incapable of producing the Quran. The problem with such a claim is that it flies in the face of the Quran which actually indicates that Muhammad could read. After all, the following verses commanded Muhammad to read:

Read! (Iqra) In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists.)

Read! (Iqra) And your Lord is the Most Generous, Who has taught (the writing) by the pen.

The first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)], S. 96:1, 3-4 Hilali-Khan. The reference to the pen makes it rather apparent that Muhammad was being ordered to read something written, not simply to recite words which were uttered to him.

In fact, the Quran says that Allah will make Muhammad read the Quran so that he won’t forget it:

“We shall make thee read (Sanuqri-oka) (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget.” S. 87:6 Pickthall; Other places where Muhammad is commanded to read the Quran include:

“When you read the Quran (qarata al-qurana), you shall seek refuge in GOD from Satan the rejected. S. 16:98 Khalifa.

When you read the Quran (qarata al-qurana), we place between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter an invisible barrier. S. 17:45 Khalifa. A Quran that we have released slowly, in order for you to read it (litaqraahu) to the people over a long period, although we sent it down all at once.” S. 17:106 Khalifa. “And lo! it is a revelation of the Lord of the Worlds, Which the True Spirit hath brought down Upon thy heart, that thou mayst be (one) of the warners, In plain Arabic speech.

And lo! It is in the Scriptures of the men of old. Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it? And if We had revealed it unto one of any other nation than the Arabs, And he had read it (Faqaraahu) unto them, they would not have believed in it.”

S. 26:192-199 Pickthall: “Your Lord knows that you meditate during two-thirds of the night, or half of it, or one-third of it, and so do some of those who believed with you. GOD has designed the night and the day, and He knows that you cannot always do this. He has pardoned you. Instead, you shall read (faiqraoo) what you can of the Quran.

He knows that some of you may be ill, others may be traveling in pursuit of GOD’s provisions, and others may be striving in the cause of GOD. You shall read (faiqraoo) what you can of it, and observe the contact prayers (Salat), give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and lend GOD a loan of righteousness. Whatever good you send ahead on behalf of your souls, you will find it at GOD far better and generously rewarded.

And implore GOD for forgiveness. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful. 73:20 Khalifaand, when the Koran (al-quranu) is read (quria) to them, do not adore? S. 84:21

All of these references strongly indicate that Muhammad had access to a manuscript from which he could read to the people. Otherwise, what would he be reading from? Lest a Muslim claim that the above texts do not necessarily imply that Muhammad was reading an actual book since there was no Quranic manuscript for him to read, note what the following passage states: “Those who disbelieve say: “This (the Qur’an) is nothing but a lie that he (Muhammad SAW) has invented, and others have helped him at it, so that they have produced an unjust wrong (thing) and a lie.”

And they say: “Tales of the ancients, which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon.” S. 25:4-5 Hilali-Khan Not only did Muhammad have the Quran written down, showing that he had access to an actual manuscript which he could read, the Quran even refers to pure pages that Muhammad was reading to the people: A messenger from Allah, reading purified pages.

S. 69:19 Shakir People will be given a book or record to read on the Day of Judgment. Or thou have a house of gold; or thou ascend up into heaven, and even then we will put no faith in thine ascension till thou bring down for us a book that we can read.

Say (O Muhammad): My Lord be Glorified! Am I aught save a mortal messenger? S. 17:93Pickthall; The unbelievers want Muhammad to bring a book from heaven to read. The foregoing examples plainly demonstrate that the Arabic verb iqra means also “to read,” not merely “to recite,” and provide evidence that Muhammad was able to read and was in fact reading from a book which was in his possession.

In order to defend Muhammad’s illiteracy some Muslims will try to argue that the verb iqra doesn’t necessarily mean to read but can also refer to reciting. They will often appeal to the hadith literature to support their premise: Narrated ‘Aisha:(the mother of the faithful believers) The commencement of the Divine Inspiration to Allah’s Apostle was in the form of good dreams which came true like bright day light, and then the love of seclusion was bestowed upon him. He used to go in seclusion in the cave of Hira where he used to worship (Allah alone) continuously for many days before his desire to see his family. He used to take with him the journey food for the stay and then come back to (hiswife) Khadija to take his food like-wise again till suddenly the Truth descended upon him while he was in the cave of Hira. The angel came to him and asked him to read.

The Prophet replied, “I do not know how to read.” The Prophet added, “The angel caught me (forcefully) and pressed me so hard that I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read and I replied, ‘I do not know how to read.’

Thereupon he caught me again and pressed me a second time till I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read, but again I replied, ‘I do not know how to read (or what shall I read)?’ Thereupon he caught me for the third time and pressed me, and then released me and said, Read in the name of your Lord, who has created (all that exists) has created man from a clot. Read!

And your Lord is the Most Generous.” (96.1, 96.2, 96.3) Then Allah’s Apostle returned with the Inspiration and with his heart beating severely.

Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 1, Number 3: There are a couple of problems with this report. First, this contradicts the testimony of the Quran which conclusively proves that Muhammad could and was reading an actual book. Second, the foregoing hadith is rather strange since the spirit is asking Muhammad to read even though he has no book or manuscript in his hand for him to read from! Moreover, didn’t the spirit know that Muhammad couldn’t read? If so then why does he ask Muhammad three consecutive times to read when he clearly knew he couldn’t? End of articles.

Islam claims that Muhammad was visited in that cave by the angel Gabriel. However, in the beginning Muhammad did not claim it was Gabriel; and the angel didn’t say who he was. It was Muhammad’s wife’s cousin who ‘knew something about Jews and Christians’ and convinced Muhammad it was Gabriel.

Is it even reasonable to believe or even imagine Gabriel visited Muhammad to convince him he was higher on God’s order than Jesus Christ? Muhammad and the Islamic religion that followed do not recognize Jesus as the Son of God. Gabriel’s other appearances were to visit Mary and her cousin Elizabeth to tell them the good news about the upcoming births of their children; Jesus and John the Baptist. His other visit was to interpret a vision to Daniel.

It was not Gabriel who visited Muhammad in that Cave of Hira. It was Satan, himself; still promoting his little book that was ‘sweet in the mouth, but bitter in the belly.’

Satan visited, still carrying that ‘little book’ in his hand that later became the Koran. It was to give Muhammad great power; it was sweet in the mouth. Understanding the source of Islam’s Koran, that it was from Satan, is a reason to believe.

Reason 7

Opioids and Bongs

There is an unusual sequence of events announced, beginning in Chapter 8, regarding the results of the sounds of seven trumpets. The introduction begins in verse 2:

“And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. 6) And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.”

The seven angels sounded their trumpets in order, but one produced a strange anomaly. Let’s have a brief review of the results from each of those trumpet sounds to understand the unusual difference of that one in question. Results of the sound of that third trumpet will be discussed at the end of this series of trumpet sounds. More information about the results of these sounds is included in my previous book: ‘Trump, Apollyon, and Obama.’ This condensed information is presented just to show the anomaly. Verse 7 introduced the first trumpet:

“The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. 8) And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea; and the third part of the sea became blood. 12) And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.” The next three trumpet sounds were reported to create ‘woes.’ The first two are in Chapter 9 and begin with the first verse:

“And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 2) And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. 13) And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14) Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. 15) And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.” The results of the sound of the seventh trumpet are reported in Chapter 11, verse 15:

“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

These six angels with their trumpets sounded the preparations for war, the activities of war, and the results of that war. The result from the sound of the third trumpet was totally different. It did not present a war influence and it didn’t report anything related to battle or conquest. This is that information reported in Chapter 8, verses10-11:

“And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 11) And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.”

Likely, since all the other horrors from the seven trumpets were related to war and pestilence, it’s unlikely that this out-of-place ‘great star’ has been understood in the past. It’s different, so totally different from all the others that it seems unreasonably out of place. But, today, Wormwood does play a great part in determining the future and the sustenance of our earthly humanity, today and in the future.

Clearly, this is not a giant gaseous star falling from heaven. Instead this is simply the method of saying ‘this is something important and it represents a major event.’ This verse even calls it a ‘great’ star. It’s that important. But, if it’s not an actual physical galactic star, then what does it mean? It’s not a star as we know a star to be. If that were the case, then it would never reach the earth to fall on the earth. The earth would be vaporized into a cinder before that great star even got to the earth. So, what is it?

Almost daily for the past five years I’ve been trying to interpret different parts of Revelation. This part that mentioned wormwood had me totally lost without a single clue. Then, suddenly, a clue came out of nowhere.

My answer came from a very unusual place. Having a hurt knee, I was watching television, waiting for it to heal, and happened upon one of my favorite programs, ‘The Artful Detective,’ which is a cute little show on Ovation. The shy detective, Murdoch, was on his first date with the lady doctor, Dr. Ogden, who performs their post-mortems; it was a picnic. To help overcome their shyness, they were drinking absinthe, which they also called the ‘green fairy.’ During their babble, Murdoch mentioned wormwood. Wow – did my ears perk up and I immediately headed to google. In my research I learned that wormwood is a common plant of several varieties. The plants are used for making absinthe, an alcoholic drink; and another surprise – also for making synthetic cannabis. This is the information about wormwood offered by Wikipedia:

“Artemisia absinthium (absinthium, absinthe wormwood, wormwood, common wormwood, green ginger or grand wormwood) is a species of Artemisia, native to temperate regions of Eurasia and Northern Africa and widely naturalized in Canada and the northern United States. It is grown as an ornamental plant and is used as an ingredient in the spirit absinthe as well as some other alcoholic drinks.

Artemisia absinthium is a herbaceous, perennial plant with fibrous roots. The stems are straight, growing to 0.8–1.2 metres (2 ft 7 in–3 ft 11 in) (rarely 1.5 m, but, sometimes even larger) tall, grooved, branched, and silvery-green. The leaves are spirally arranged, greenish-grey above and white below, covered with silky silvery-white trichomes, and bearing minute oil-producing glands; the basal leaves are up to 25 cm long, bipinnate to tripinnate with long petioles, with the cauline leaves (those on the stem) smaller, 5–10 cm long, less divided, and with short petioles; the uppermost leaves can be both simple and sessile (without a petiole). Its flowers are pale yellow, tubular, and clustered in spherical bent-down heads (capitula), which are in turn clustered in leafy and branched panicles. Flowering is from early summer to early autumn; pollination is anemophilous. The fruit is a small achene; seed dispersal is by gravity. It grows naturally on uncultivated, arid ground, on rocky slopes, and at the edge of footpaths and fields.” End of article.

The plants are used for making absinthe, an alcoholic drink. And there’s another great surprise. It’s also for making synthetic cannabis.

With this information about wormwood, we can now interpret the meaning of verse 10, ‘upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters.’ The rivers refer to the flow of humanity; the fountains of waters refer to young people from which those rivers flow; the beginning and origins of life.

Now we know what that reference in Revelation describes. It describes the negative effects of drugs, and possibly other inhibitors such as alcohol, on humanity. It’s especially devastating to young people, the ‘fountains’ of waters. Now let’s explore just how devastating and deadly this Wormwood star really is.

Before we proceed to the devastating affects of drugs, in this case specifically marijuana and opioids, let’s interpret one of the seemingly minor parts of that verse which describes Wormwood. In that verse it describes the star as ‘burning as it were a lamp,’ Ordinarily, this description would seem to be connected to a star that burns. Of course a star burns, but would it be as a lamp? In this case, this reference is to fire, or a way on using drugs. The current and common term of this ‘lamp’ would be a bong. Wikipedia describes a bong as: ‘A filtration device generally used for smoking cannabis, tobacco, or other herbal substances.’ But, what about its usage? How widespread is the use of drugs? Let’s begin with drug usage in the United States.

This article is titled, ‘U.S. Has Highest Levels of Illegal Drug Use’ and is reported by www.verywell.com/marijuana-leads-to-later-drug-abuse-63520. The article begins, Drug Use Increasing Worldwide, Survey Finds. Updated August 05, 2015:

“In spite of the most stringent drug policies and punitive laws in the world, the United States also has the highest levels of lifetime illegal cocaine and marijuana use, according to a study of more than 54,000 people in 17 countries.

The United States also has the highest rate of lifetime tobacco use but comes in third in alcohol use, behind the Ukraine and Germany. The study, by Louisa Degenhardt of the University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia) and colleagues, is based on the World Health Organization’s Composite International Diagnostic Interview (CIDI).

Cocaine and Marijuana Use

The survey which asked participants about their lifetime cocaine, marijuana, alcohol, and tobacco use found that 16.2% of people in the United States have used cocaine at some point during their lives. This rate was almost four times the rate of the second-place country, New Zealand, where 4.3% said they had tried cocaine.

The researchers also found that 42.4% of people in the United States reported marijuana use during their lifetime. New Zealand was second with 41.9%, but the two countries were far ahead of the other 15 in lifetime marijuana use.

Drug Policies Are Not Enough

“Drug use is related to income, but does not appear to be simply related to drug policy, since countries with more stringent policies towards illegal drug use did not have lower levels of such drug use than countries with more liberal policies,” Degenhardt and her colleagues write.

“The United States, which has been driving much of the world’s drug research and drug policy agenda, stands out with higher levels of use of alcohol, cocaine and cannabis, despite punitive illegal drug policies, as well as (in many U.S. states) a higher minimum legal alcohol drinking age than many comparable developed countries,” the authors report.

“The Netherlands, with a less criminally punitive approach to cannabis use than the United States, has experienced lower levels of use, particularly among younger adults,” the report says.

“Clearly, by itself, a punitive policy towards possession and use accounts for limited variation in nation-level rates of illegal drug use.”

Drug Use Rates Higher Among Younger ParticipantsHere are some of the other key findings of the study:

“Males were more likely to have used all drug types, but that gender gap is closing among the youngest participants.

Younger adults were more likely to have used all the drugs in the study than the older adults.

Those who were never married or previously married had higher rates of tobacco, cocaine and marijuana use, but not alcohol use.

Higher income was associated with higher rates of both illegal and legal drug use.

Tobacco use is more prevalent among people who have been previously married but less likely among those never married.

Alcohol use by age 15 was much more common among Europeans than in the Middle East or Africa.”

Survey Results Not Static

“There was greater drug involvement among younger than older adults in all countries, suggesting that drug use has and may continue to change over historical time,” the authors write.

“Interestingly, there was also evidence to suggest that male-female differences in risk of initiating drug use may be changing in more recent birth cohorts.

“This change was a consistent finding across countries, suggesting that a general shift may be occurring with respect to the traditional sex differences so often documented with drug use.”

This is another article explaining drug use world-wide. It’s titled, ‘Illegal Drug Use Around the World – 5 Things You Need to Know.’ It’s from Audrey Yoo at twitter .com. It begins, ‘Much of the increase in illegal drug use worldwide will take place in developing countries.’

“Global illegal drug use is expected to rise by 25% over the next few decades as rapid urbanization, industrialization, and population growth in developing countries fuel the demand for illegal substances, the UN’s anti-drug agency said in its new ERLINK"http://www.unodc.org/unodc/en/data-and-nalysis/WDR-2012.html"\t"_blank"annual report this week. The report by the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNDOC), which underlines the fight against drug abuse with data on the consumption and production of illegal substances, also projects that developing countries will shoulder the burden of the global drug problem in the coming decades.

Here are the highlights of the UN findings:

1. Roughly 230 million people have used an illegal drug at least once in 2010. In 2010, 5% of the world adult population aged 15-64 used illegal drugs at least once. Problem drug users, who mainly depend on cocaine and heroin, make up an estimated 0.6% of the world adult population, amounting to roughly 27 million. Every year, approximately 200,000 people worldwide die from drug abuse.

2. The global number of illegal drug users will go up by 25% by 2050. If the annual prevalence of illegal drug use stays stable at 5% of the adult population over the next few decades, demographic trends indicate that the total number of illicit drug users will increase by a quarter by 2050, which is in proportion to world population growth. Although the current rate of 5% might appear like a small proportion of the world’s adult population, if this rate continues, there may be some extra 65 million illegal drug users by 2050 compared to 2009-2010.

3. The increase in illicit drug use will be most pronounced in developing countries. Drug use is linked to urbanization. With the urban population of developing countries expected to double between 2011 and 2050, they will see a marked increase in the demand for drugs. In other words, the burden of the global drug problem will shift to countries that are relatively ill-equipped to deal with it, explains Yury Fedotov, the UN anti-drugs chief. In addition, developing countries’ higher projected population growth and younger populations, the main consumers of drugs, will raise the demand for illicit drugs in those nations.

4. Two of the world’s most popular illegal drugs are cannabis (marijuana) and amphetamine-type stimulants (ATS). There are an estimated 119-224 million marijuana users globally, making it the most popular illegal substance in the world. Amphetamine-type stimulants such as methamphetamine come in second with around 14-52.5 million users worldwide. As of now there are no signs that marijuana will lose its status as the illegal drug of choice, says the report.

5. More women will use illicit drugs. While men who take illegal drugs still greatly outnumber women, the gender gap, especially in developing countries, will narrow as conservative, socio-cultural barriers break down and as gender equality improves. End of article.

Finally, we must ask why this mention of drugs would be so important that it would be included in a series of events that were related only to war and war preparation events. This information about the use of drugs and other inhibitors stands out from the others, since it seems positioned for that purpose; to stand out and bring attention. And, yes; there is a very clear reason that it’s positioned in an unusual place with an unusual message.

The purpose for the placement of the information about a ‘great’ problem with drugs in the United States and the whole world is to indicate time. It’s placed in a conspicuous position to say this could be part of that time line, the countdown: that time beginning with the time given for Jesus’ flight to Egypt, the time revealed for the creation of the Roman Catholic Church by ‘two wings of a great eagle, meaning Constantine the Great. It also follows the time line of the life of Muhammad that ended after he ‘continued for forty-two months.’

Fourteen hundred years later the modern era was revealed by the second beast making ‘fire come down from the sky’ in the form of aircraft munitions. Then two other times are revealed that suggest the time is very near; that time of horror and tribulation. First is the introduction of nuclear weapons. This is revealed in Chapter 8, verse 7. Only a nuclear weapon could produce this result:

“The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.”

Then the introduction of the Great Star Wormwood brings the time line even closer. Drug use and horrendous abuse is a more modern event. It’s happening now; today. It’s not a past event or a coming event. It’s a happening now gross event. There is no mistaking what it is or when it is. Now! It means to be prepared for coming horrors; and do not delay. In the final chapters of Revelation, God says to be prepared, don’t delay, for the time is near.

Chapter 16, verse 15: “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.”

Chapter 22, verse 7: “Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.”

Chapters 2-3 also warn at the end of each of those seven letters to the seven churches: “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”

The placement of the information about that star Wormwood is to warn us of an activity related to a certain time; and that time is near. It’s now. It’s another reason. It’s a reason to believe.

Many beasts are described in Revelation. Some are used simply as metaphors since no other words were available to Apostle John at the time he wrote Revelation. He called four of those apparitions near God’s throne beasts; although it would certainly be most unusual for God to allow some horrible beast with devilish plans to sit near Him anywhere, especially near His throne.

Instead of calling these apparitions or imaginative beings something that would be even more difficult to interpret, he called them beasts. He could have said ‘these things’ but that might have been even more confusing. These were the four things or ideas that introduced the four horses. The four horses were part of the table of contents to introduce more information later in Revelation.

This metaphor of beast describing these four things is similar to the use of the description ‘fire from the sky’ in Chapter 13 describing actions and miracles of the second beast. John didn’t know what aircraft and drones were that he saw in his vision, so he described the bullets, missiles and rockets from those aircraft as ‘fire from the sky.’

The beast introduced in Chapter 13 describes a real beast; and it has three parts, all given power by that dragon, that serpent Satan. The beast is Islam, with Mother Islam, Babylon, as the head of the beast. The first action beast, the real person identity, was Muhammad. He died in 632 AD, so only his spirit exists to lead and inspire his followers today.

The second action beast, the real person identity, seems to be Barack Hussein Obama. He fits the description in Chapter 13 as having two horns of a lamb (claims to be a Christian) but speaks as a dragon (speaks only high praise for Islam and Muhammad; those who worship Satan.) He has also created a condition that will allow Iran to attack Israel sometime in the near future. He created that nuclear agreement, that covenant with Iran. Daniel, Chapter 9, verse 27 describes the length of the covenant as ‘one week’ but certainly that must represent seven years. That verse explains:

“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” Then, Chapter 12, verse 11 adds:

“And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.” That’s another time entry of three and a half years again; time, times, and half a time.

That agreement with Iran, that covenant, was acknowledged July, 2015. Might this suggest that Iran will suddenly attack Israel without warning in early 2019? Should we accept this prophesy as given and prepare for that time of horrors; as Revelation and Matthew suggest? Should we not be prepared for any horror that might occur? After all, Iran and the other Shia Muslims are destined to call for their Mahdi to purify the world to comply with Satan’s tenets of Islam.

They want their Mahdi to show his head from behind the tree where he hides his face, come forth, and destroy the infidel world. Are you prepared for the horrors that will follow? Listed below are some suggestions for that preparation.

By reading the entirety of Revelation, and Chapter 24 in Matthew, it seems the worst of the horror will be in the Middle East. Most if not all of those oil-producing nations will be totally devastated. Revelation, Chapter 18, beginning with verse 21 offers that conclusion:

“And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea (of humanity,) saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. 22) And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee. 23) And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee.”

This would certainly suggest that Islam Babylon will be totally destroyed, never to recover; likely from an uncontrollable and burning oil spill throughout the large territory. But what about the rest of the world; our United States in particular? It seems our greatest disasters will not necessarily be war oriented. But, the great legacy Obama will have left our nation will be our greatest hardship. He has limited and restricted the full development of our own natural resources to maintain ourselves during these great disasters in other parts of the world.

Although we have overly abundant oil and gas under our own feet, Obama did not allow us to fully develop those resources to become fully independent. This has helped his Islamic friends maintain a higher price for their oil, thereby providing them with more power to attack the entire world; and Israel in the near future. Our horrors will be different.

Our perils will be caused by globalization, world trade, economics, transportation and attacks on our power grid. Our transportation system to transport repair parts, food, and other survival items such as medicines and tonics will be crippled. Things that we need from other parts of the world, because of world trade and globalization, will not be available to us because enough ships will not be on the ocean, and cargo planes will not be in the air. The millions of trucks now clogging our major highways will be greatly reduced if not eliminated totally by damage or terrorism. Our survival will be as that of medieval or frontier days; our nation is no longer prepared for that basic survival.

Christ cautioned many times in Revelation to be prepared; don’t be caught naked, as in Chapter 16, verse 15:

“Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.”

But, how must we prepare? We are warned of death by starvation, thirst, the sword, and beasts. Next are some ideas to consider for that preparation. We begin with considerations to protect ourselves from death by the ‘sword.’

Protect Yourself – Own A Weapon

The most expedient preparation is to own a defensive weapon. If you don’t own one now, then this should be your first priority. It doesn’t matter if you agree with gun ownership or not – get a weapon, unless you desire to die ‘by the sword’ as indicated above. You must not be naked and without defense; especially if you have a family. If you won’t protect them in times of hardship; who will? If every qualified person in America owns a weapon, and our enemies know it, then we likely would never have to fire those weapons. A hostile enemy will not attack a target they know will kill them. We must let every Islamic terrorist know they will die if they attack us. Even if they have suicide bombers, they will soon run out of volunteers. But, Islamic killers are not the only great danger that might arise.

There’s a serious consideration, however, before you buy that weapon. That is, to make sure you buy ammunition for it at the same time; otherwise you might own a weapon that’s useless. There’s a shortage of some ammunition now, and it’s likely to get worse in the future. It will be easier and simpler for a despotic leader to disarm people by eliminating the availability of ammunition. Millions of weapons have been handed down from generation to generation, and are therefore unaccountable. The government has no tracer information on these weapons. Most likely, any weapon purchased within the past few years is now recorded at the new NSA center in Bluffdale, Utah. Also, be aware that any new ammunition purchases, especially with a credit card or a check, will also be recorded at that site. Don’t be surprised if sometime in the future certain items may be restricted from cash purchasing. Do it now!

Also, there’s another danger that lurks closer to home. It’s described as ‘Wormwood.’ Wormwood is a great star that fell from heaven when the third angel blew the trumpet, announcing horrible things would happen. This was not a star of course, but something that affected citizens of the earth. The word condition might have been used to describe it instead of a star falling. But the word ‘great’ gave the condition great significance. It’s an unusual event included with the other great events in this chapter, including war and natural disasters. (Revelation 8:11)

In effect, this is a description of the great impact of drugs upon our society; so great in fact that it will become a danger during the time of tribulation. The word ‘wormwood’ describes a family of plants that grow in the wild. The plant is mostly a source of absinthe and opiates, but one variety produces a product that’s considered artificial marijuana. In general, however, it describes the increased use of drugs; so much increase that it becomes a serious danger.

Just imagine what desperate and extreme measures users might do in their attempts to get more drugs. During this time of tribulation, would they invade your home, kill everyone, then plunder your belongings to trade or sell for more drugs? Perhaps you might consider your disdain of owning a weapon. Perhaps you might no longer believe the arguments of those gun-haters. To comply with their ideas might get you and your family killed. Then it’s too late to consider owning one.

Prepare Not to Starve

According to Revelation, and mentioned in three places, hunger will be one of the greatest hardships during the tribulation period. Each person or each family must decide how to prepare for this horrible event. One way, and of course the most obvious way, is to prepare to grow your own food during this period. This is a simple answer for farmers who have acreage and are trained in the techniques of farming.

Most farmers with large gardens also know how to can their produce for the more austere times. However, those who have no acreage or space enough to grow a garden must have other alternatives. It’s uncertain if farmers can produce enough to provide for the massive hunger that will occur. Probably not; and shipping and transportation will be greatly reduced if not totally eliminated to move produce long distances. So, other options must be explored before the need arises. You must be prepared.

One option growing in popularity is to accumulate large stocks of those meals with a long life span, some up to twenty or twenty-five years. Presently, there are two major advertisers of these products, but likely there are more. For some, this is not the best option and for two reasons. First is the cost. They are more expensive than comparable meals. Second is that they require water to prepare the meal. ‘Just add water and heat’ the ads say. But what if you don’t have water or heat?

Another reasonable alternative is to buy canned food; and it’s certainly the least expensive for those on a limited budget. One might ask ‘why not stock frozen food?’ The answer is simple; likely there will be little or no electricity during the worst times of the tribulation. Canned food offers another great advantage. All canned foods include water and liquids in the cans. This could be one source of liquid to prevent severe thirst. Hunger and thirst are two of the four horrors described to happen during the tribulation period. But, one might be concerned about the cost, and loss through ‘best by’ dates on the cans.

To counter the cost of canned food one must remember the main objective during the tribulation period is survival. Therefore, quality food and the ‘food you like’ are not that important. The most important thing to consider is cost per unit (ounce) and ‘best by’ dates. For examples: most food stores and supermarkets have rotating special prices on their canned vegetables. Some cans normally priced above a dollar are put on special prices such as half that to draw customers to the store. That’s the time to buy that product in quantity; as many as the store will allow. And, there’s another option that might even be better; the dollar discount store.

Almost all canned food products at the ‘dollar stores’ are priced at a dollar. However, many of those canned items contain more than twice as much as those priced less at regular supermarkets. It’s not unusual to find three times the volume at the same or lower price. In either case the ‘best by’ date must be considered. Since this year is 2017, the beginning stock of food should begin with dates of 2019 and beyond. Some ‘best by’ dates now reach as far as 2022. How much should you buy and preposition? That depends on the size of your family and those you intend to support during those trying times. It also depends on your space availability for storage. Once stored, however, those dates become important. To manage the dates, keep them stocked separately by year.

Rotation is the answer. Once you have the sufficient stock on hand then future purchases become normal purchases for the current time. And for those items nearing the ‘best by’ dates that haven’t been used there’s another good answer. Simply donate them to local ‘food pantries’ and other charities that offer food to the needy. But, don’t consider it a loss; instead consider it another tool of God’s influence upon humans helping humans. And in some cases it might even be the source of a tax deduction.

Two other alternatives regarding a food source might also be considered. First, don’t forget to have a large supply of fish hooks, fishing line, and other auxiliary fishing equipment. Fish and crustaceans are usually available in most bodies of water. Even crayfish exist is small streams. Second, powerful air rifles are now on the market for shooting small game; and some have silencers, which is an advantage if you are trying to remain safely and quietly in the background.

Have a Water Source

According to the words, during tribulation many will die from: the sword, hunger, thirst, and beasts, so one must also plan for a water source. For the many who live near a water source such as rivers, lakes, and natural springs that will not be a great problem; except possibly for the purity of the water. This problem may be countered by using a water purification system (personal ones are available for about twenty dollars; often called a straw) or by boiling the water. There are also other methods of purification including the use of certain tablets. Regarding ‘boiling water’ perhaps this is the best place to discuss fire and heat.

Okay, I realize I should avoid references in this conclusion, but there’s one that’s too important to ignore. It’s Revelation 7:4 which cautions against hurting the ‘trees.’ Trees are also mentioned in Chapter 9; which might suggest we not destroy too many of our trees during this time of tribulation; when we are likely to be without sources of fire and heat. Can you imagine how many trees would be destroyed as a source of heat for billions of people on the earth trying to stay warm for three to seven years? Trees once were the major source of heat, but the earth had many less inhabitants. Even so, at that time many of our forests were devastated. But today there’s an alternative – solar cookers and ovens.

There are several types of solar ovens, some simple and some more complex. At the present time they are somewhat expensive; the better ones in the three-hundred dollar range. However, considering their utility during difficult times that extra cost might be well worth the expense, especially if you are not in an area where wood is available; dry wood. Once a tree is cut it has to dry before it can be used for fuel. I know, because in my youth my family and many families used wood for the stove and the fireplace. We didn’t have electricity until I was twelve years old.

Those solar cookers will work when there is even medium sunshine, so using them wouldn’t be hassle free, but it’s certainly a reasonable alternative when the sun is shining. Most, at this time, are not mass produced which means if there’s a sudden demand for them they might not be available. And, there are also optional solar tubes for heating water. These are less expensive and can also be used for cooking like a stove, with the addition of an insert tray. But, what about those times when the sun isn’t adequate to make those solar cookers effective? The other alternative, of course, is firewood; which likely will be the primary source for most survivors. This brings a question of how to start that fire without a match.

A large stock of matches or cigarette lighters or other fuel lighters might be the most obvious answer of how to start a fire. And, there are two alternative ways, just in case matches don’t work and fuel is exhausted.

The first alternative is the camp-style striker method. There are several interpretations of the striker, where a rod is scraped against a starter producing sparks to start a fire tender. There’s another alternative, however, that most people never consider. And, when the sun is shining it’s definitely the most effective – the common magnifying glass. Using the sun, a magnifying glass focused to a fine point on paper or other tender will start a fire.

A very strong magnifying glass is always more effective, but a weaker magnifier will work well during the hottest times of day. The best news about the magnifying glass is that water doesn’t hurt it, and the fuel never runs out. I have four strong ones pre-positioned for emergencies. Once prepared for these three threats, there’s still one to consider. It’s introduced as beasts, which most certainly would mean organisms, diseases, and pestilence.

Prepare for Health Disasters

If this tribulation time is as horrendous as written in the Bible, then many people will die from communicable diseases and maladies that are somewhat controllable today. Today, we have medicines and immunizations to prevent and combat things such as flu and pneumonia. Just imagine what would happen if these protections were not available for five to seven years. In large groups, these horrors would spread like wildfire, and only the healthiest and hardiest would survive, especially if complicated without heat to ease the freezing and wet nights. Without proper medications the only defense would be to wear masks and avoid large groups during these periods of epidemics. But, these maladies are not the only threats to survival.

Two other serious threats will be ticks and mosquitoes. These have been serious problems throughout history. In our modern day, and in our modern societies, repellants ordinarily repel these malicious enemies; but will repellants be available during the tribulation period? Likely not. One possibility is to try to anticipate the beginning time and have as much on hand as possible. If you have too much, your friends and family might need help. And, if you spend any time at all outdoors, especially in warmer times, always check every inch of your skin for ticks. They are very small until they gorge themselves with your blood; then it might be too late. If your home is not perfectly sealed, don’t forget to sleep under netting at night.

Another common problem often arises when in survival mode; especially outdoors. That’s the problem of infection from scratches and other wounds. Briars, thorns, and broken sharp sticks abound everywhere in the outdoors, even in the safety of your enclosed yard. If an infection occurs from one of these pricks, scratches, or cuts there likely will not be medical aid nearby to help you. Of course, the logical answer to defend yourself against these ‘beasts’ is to have an adequate stock of antiseptics and antibiotics on hand to last the duration. These beasts will kill people as surely as guns, hunger, and thirst; and often with long-lasting pain. Be Prepared.

My daily research for over five years strongly convinces me that Barack Hussein Obama is that second beast identified in Revelation, Chapter 13, as the False Prophet. That False Prophet claims to be a Christian, but he speaks and praises only Muhammad and Islam. “And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast (Muhammad – a national leader,) and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.”

During Obama’s administration he took no direct military action to implement the policies of that first beast, but his words and actions caused many Islamic principles to grow and be acknowledged in the United States and throughout the world. His actions (inactions) caused that image to the beast, that caliphate in the Middle East, to be built.

And, although he is no longer President of the United States, his charge from Satan will not be lessened. He will take no direct actions against any nation, but his persuasive and deceptive blasphemy will cause others to be the hands of Satan to fulfill Satan’s oath to remove God from heaven. Obama’s deceptions and lying wonders will continue to cause a divided and confused nation; a nation in which within that confusion many will not recognize God’s promise of everlasting salvation.

Barack Obama will not go quietly and remain in the background as a loyal supporter of the United States of America: One nation under God. As Chapter 13 reveals; he will cause things of Satan to happen. Through his efforts, words and deeds, many of his followers will willingly accept that ‘mark of the beast’ to be placed on their foreheads.

Although he is no longer a formal part of our government administration, he will continue to use words and actions outside the government to create strong divisions within our government. To fulfill Satan’s plan he must continue to create division within our nation so as not to allow our nation to come together as a nation united under God.

And so here we are today; the world still under attack by Satan and his evil Islamic beast. Inspired and guided by Satan, it’s a beast so evil it kills everyone in its path; even its relatives and kinsmen. It’s an evil so great not even total power would satisfy itself. There are no limits to the breadth or time of its horror; but its primary and sworn aim is to destroy God in heaven. This explains why God will turn his wrath against this horrible beast that has challenged Him. Islam has spread to the seven heads (those seven continents) and threatens to unleash even more horror against those who worship God.

Within the Words, God has acknowledged that challenging sworn threat from Satan. When the time prophesied arrives he will totally destroy that evil; for at least a thousand years, before Satan will escape from the burning pit to spread evil once again. The question of our time, however, is what will happen to our generation when our Apocalypse begins. Will our world still exist as it is? Chapters 21 and 22 answer this question:

Chapter 21, Verse 24 reads, “And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: (referring to the new city of Jerusalem) and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.”

Chapter 22, Verse 2, “In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” Verse 4 adds, “And they that see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.” Verse 12 warns, “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according to his work shall be.”

According to the Words, the physical world will continue to exist even after the great tribulation; there is hope for humanity. In the end, according to the last verses in the Bible, it will be a better world without the presence of that strange god to wreak evil upon the earth. God’s promise of a better world is a reason to believe.

There are many reasons to believe the Words of God written in the Book of Revelation. Many events were prophesied hundreds and thousands of years before they happened; precisely as they were written. How can anyone doubt those reasons to believe? How can anyone doubt even one of those clear and documented reasons to believe?

As there are seven angels of Satan; as there are seven angels with trumpets; as there are seven angels with seven vials of wrath; as there are seven heads of the beast; there are also seven reasons to believe the Words written in the Book of Revelation. However, each single reason is by itself a reason to believe.

God bless America, and protect Israel.

He also taught an adult GED class. His book, How to Learn, has been updated and is now available everywhere.

His next published book was School Bells and Broken Tales, a parody of nursery rhyme characters, also a motivation and education book for children. Other books include Shades of Retribution, a historical novel, and Simply Success, a motivation guide for students and employees.

His action novel, The Atlantis Crystal, is the first of a trilogy based on Atlantis and crystals. The other two books are: She Waits in Atlantis, and Return to Atlantis. This trilogy is based on his travels while assigned to Turkey, site of the ancient city of Troy. His latest political thriller is: America 20XX: The New World Order.

The past five years he has devoted his full time to the study, research, and writing of an analysis of the Book of Revelation and the danger of Satan, that beast that guides Islam.

A Reason To Believe

Many people refuse to read the complete Book of Revelation. Some believe it’s written as a story of striving and struggling internally for personal fulfillment and salvation. And, considering Revelation from that perspective the true meaning of Revelation could never be interpreted. The meaning of Revelation can be interpreted in only two ways. First is true and pure belief. Second is by deciphering and understanding the secret codes Christ planted in the words and visions he gave John. John did not understand many of those visions himself, but he reported them anyway in the form of metaphors. Furthermore, how would John have known to write or say ‘airplane?’ By understanding the many strange metaphors used in Revelation the reading then becomes very clear such as with reading a novel. Each clear story that emerges from these hidden codes create another reason to believe the full context of God’s Words in Revelation. Within Revelation, there are many reasons to believe. Each reason of revelation, in itself, is a reason to believe. This book clarifies and exposes seven reasons, but each within itself is a reason to believe.
