Everything we have in our world is the result of creativity. Nature. All of our medical and technological advances. Even figuring out that wood could be used for building. The list is endless. Everything new required the spark of creativity—not just art. Without creativity, there would be no innovation—no change, no improvement, no progress. The problem is that in school, we aren’t taught to think creatively. We’re taught to think like everyone else and expected to conform as we memorize the answers. This kind of learning is the enemy of innovation.
